What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?

Too old? Damn, that's almost hurtful to my pride as an old man. For the record though, I have met a 40-year-old person who was into Precure. Online of course (it'd be rare to meet someone like that irl). But I guess it is something you'd have to get use to if it doesn't sink in right away. For some people, cute girls doing cute things is a little bit of an acquired taste.

Oh yeah?! Well... I watched both seasons! I win. ^^

Does it only occur on that VN? And what audio device are you using? Try using an alternative if possible. If the problem only occurs with that one particular device, you may want to go to the manufacturer's website for troubleshooting tips. When I had this problem on my headset, I had to reset it in order to hear the voice acting again.

VN Characters You Felt That Needed a Route
Kenshin_sama replied to atchikotchi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Roughly half of the side heroines would have been better than the main ones in Kamidori. I'd especially like to see a Kohakuren route. A twins route would have also been great. -
Keima was right, Elsie is definitely suited for the bucket race. ^^ Getting close to the Goddess arc. A lot of my friends hype this arc in the series, so definitely looking forward to it!

Barakamon is still great as ever. Even if there isn't much happening, it's still relaxing to watch, and nice to see Handa changing on his path enlightenment. Especially good focus on Naru in the last episode as well. Incoming feels.

Does anyone else find big eyebrows moe?
Kenshin_sama replied to Isaac's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
That was the first guy I thought about when I saw this thread. Super moe! For anyone not familiar with FLCL (shame on you), this is Amarao. -
Technically, CR is professional and fansubs aren't. But that's not to say that professional is always better. The main difference is that professionals make money off what they do. Enjoy Hoshimemo. I wasn't a particular fan of Komomo, but she is cute. :3

Is that you on the right? Idk, I'm just guessing. XD Also, is there any upcoming cons that you're going to? I've never been to one before, but I should be able to now. Wouldn't mind going to one with ya!

What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?
Kenshin_sama replied to solidbatman's topic in Gaming Talk
I've only played Ocarina of Time, but I really like it too. I can never finish the game though! I played the original N64 version of it years ago (not sure how long), and I cleared the Forest Temple as adult Link. Then I picked it up later again when I got the 3DS version, and cleared the Water Temple. Haven't gone farther than that though. I promised myself I'd never use a guide or outside help to beat this game, but that can make it tiresome. I don't plan on breaking anytime soon, though. -
Damn, dude. I might be a little better when it comes to FC's, but you've got me beat when it comes to harder maps. Ah, that's okay, I'll just progress as I go along~ I actually do put a little bit of seriousness into playing Osu, but I can't enjoy a game unless I do so. I stated this earlier in the thread, but I enjoy the process of getting better more than I do actually playing the game. That's not to say I don't enjoy the game (I wouldn't put nearly as much time in if I didn't), I like getting better more. Nothing much to worry about though, I'm not trying to force myself to get good at a really fast rate either. Still playing at a decent pace. I also like to compare my progress to others as a means to motivate myself. Actually really happy that I'm past MrAldred in overall PP. I'm still trying to beat him in individual performance, however (my best performance is 53, his is 79). Too bad he's not active anymore. I guess my next goal will be to surpass maef and Ceris. > : )

Is there any point in even buying used VN? Piracy vs Used
Kenshin_sama replied to Dark Ariel7's topic in General Discussion
The seller may not be making the product, but he's still selling it. Sellers need money too, or else they won't stay in business. And having fewer retailer options can lead to overpricing on goods. See where I'm getting at? -
Is there any point in even buying used VN? Piracy vs Used
Kenshin_sama replied to Dark Ariel7's topic in General Discussion
Ah, right. I guess I went a little overboard with that and missed the point. If the option to pirate is there, then I suppose the whole reason for buying used is to feel better. Buying used may be somewhat frowned upon from a moral standpoint, but piracy is illegal. At least with buying something used, you're supporting the retailer/individual selling the VN. But piracy doesn't support anyone other than the individual downloader. On the other hand, buying used still involves investing in a product that may or may not be worthwhile (especially if it's a low-brow product), and that can only be avoided through borrowing/pirating. -
Ah, geez, I was going off the manga list on your MAL account. >.< Well, I haven't read any other vampire manga, unfortunately. How about a yuri romance? Girl Friends is pretty fantastic.

Is there any point in even buying used VN? Piracy vs Used
Kenshin_sama replied to Dark Ariel7's topic in General Discussion
I suppose it all depends on your values. Personally, I wouldn't care at all about whether I bought a game used or not just to support the developers. Now, if I were the type of person to feel bad for people I don't know, I would never buy used; however, I'm not that nice a guy. If I were the frugal type, I would buy whatever would be the best financial benefit to myself. If the game I'm buying is of high interest to me, I'd buy it new to encourage the developers to make more of what I like. And if you're buying the VN used, you're still supporting the retailer. I'm also the kind of guy that typically avoids giving small donations unless I'm really driven to make an investment (like Sekai Project). To buy something new means you're investing in the developers. I wouldn't even say it'd have that much of an impact either, since people borrow games all the time (and, of course, there will be pirates). If a game is made well enough, or marketed very well, it will sell, and the developers will get the money they deserve. But for me, personally, I like to have an emphasis on direction with my budget. I try to weigh my options as best as I can, and only invest my money in a way I deem most appropriate. -
Karin's a good manga. Has an oddball heroine (really cute), interesting developments, and, surprisingly enough, a decent plot. You're bound to get a few surprises here and there, and the romance was really refreshing.

>Ikuhara Yeah, definitely enough incentive to pick this one up. I'm really stoked. Silver Link's animation would also be great for this kind of series.

'Murica Did I just see Ronald McDonald firing a semi? o.O That seriously made my day.

Mokyu mokyu~ Lolicon is justice! :3 With my weakness for adult lolis combined with Hatsune Miku, that was a wonderful video.
