For me, it's all about the chest! Especially when they're washboards. Whenever I open up an H manga, it's the chest that I always have the greatest focus on, and that may also attribute to why I dislike large breasts. Due to my over-attentiveness in that area, it's really overbearing to have to see chests wailing around in every which direction, and there aren't that many artists capable of not making them look seriously distorted. Once in a while, I'll come across a manga with large-breasted girls that I can appreciate, but flat chests will almost always win out for me. That and it's so cute when a DFC tries to hide her chest while looking embarrassed, and I love it when they have a tan! Girls with small boobs are also great, but DFC has a certain charm to it.

I'd take Vovoca's advice on this. I'm the type of guy that uses walkthroughs to save time as well, but Saya only has two scenes with choices in them, and it's incredibly obvious which one you want to go with. The first set of choices will lead to a bad end, or continue the story. The second set will determine the route you go on. Once you've chosen your second choice, that's literally it!

For that to happen, almost everything would have to be rewritten from scratch. Saya's just not the kind of story that can happen without H scenes.

Oh yeah, I forgot you were doing mania, lol. Once I finish dinner, I wouldn't mind playing standard with ya. I don't really like mania that much. Sometimes I'll play CTB.

Shoot for it, man. I actually remember getting 14 PP off a map just by improving my 95% to a 97%. It'll probably be a while before I get another FC. I'm putting all my focus into adjusting to AR9. Making really good progress so far. This map is fun as hell to practice on, too. If anyone ever asks for something to start them off on AR9, this is definitely something worth suggesting. The music's awesome too.

Haru is eccentric to the point of almost being trippy. This is one of my favorite lines from her: Haru's awesome! <3 10/10

I actually watched those scenes with a giant grin on my face. Shows like Higurashi are a true blessing. There's probably something messed up with me. (♠_♦) I didn't have any trouble sleeping while watching it either. Otherwise, nice wallpaper. I might eventually make a switch to a Higurashi theme for mine as well.

I have to throw my recommendation to G-Senjou. Mostly because the Fate route can be a little tedious to read as FSN has an incredible amount of lore that is explained from excessive heaps of infodumping. I don't know if infodumping is something that bothers you or not, but I really dislike it. ^^ But once you've gotten to a certain point in UBW, it's a blast to read. It's easy to come to love Nasuverse once you've experienced most of the works involved in it. As someone who's currently finished Tsubaki's route and is currently in Kanon's, I'd say it's significantly easier to read. With the mind games, the plot setup, yakuza, and intrigue building, it's consistently engaging and has a likable character cast. Oh man, it's been so long since I've watched Batman, and even more so since I've seen the Riddler. Didn't think to make the connection until you mentioned him. Edit: Oh okay. Just a word of warning, reading FSN is like training in the mountains. It's pretty long! In fact, it's the 2nd longest VN I've ever read with 1st being Rewrite.

I had a feeling this guy was a dumbass from the way he wrote on twitter, but I didn't think he'd be this bad. Not sure how severe the punishment for cyber crimes are, but he better learn from it.

I was thinking the same thing. You're more likely to pick up new English words from literature that was originally written in English. Unless the translator is good enough to write a really good novel in the language he or she is translating to, you shouldn't expect much more than common terminology. Now, there are works out there that have received amazing translations in English, but I don't believe there are any VN companies with the kind of budget needed for that kind of quality.

What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?

Yep, Haseo has a little bit of an emoticon complex! XD I agree, it's not poor character writing at all, it's just difficult to deal with. It's especially bad with how Yuri Lowenthal can bring out the worst in the nasty characters he voices (that guy's a genius). That scene in particular that you mentioned was especially brutal. But I'm glad I could clear a few things up for you with the game. Personally, I thought volume 2 and the later parts of volume 1 were really great. Hope you enjoy it. For me, it was somewhere around 2003-ish that I first experienced Sign, and there were so many years in between watching that, playing the games, and being able to grasp the connections between everything. So I decided to start over again from the very beginning, and I've actually come to like the setting of .hack// a lot more as a result. I've heard from Japanese readers that Epitaph of Twilight isn't necessarily canon to the main storyline, and that .hack//zero should be the only canon material that isn't translated. I heard that Epitaph of Twilight is still good side content though (I'd definitely be interested in reading it as well). Kind of unfortunate that it has to be left out like that. Tokyo Pop has some of the .hack// LNs localized, but it doesn't look like they have any plans on doing more. -
No problem. And she's cute!

Roots was pretty lackluster. I didn't like it either. G.U. does start a little rough, and Haseo's pretty much an asshole until volume 2, but it'll pick up eventually. Haseo actually does develop fairly well throughout the course of the storyline and the plot will get really interesting once you hit the next volume (gets somewhat interesting in volume 1 too, but not as much). I haven't played volume 3 yet, but I plan on getting to it eventually. Oh god, I was close to giving up on that dungeon. Took me hours to complete it. If it weren't for the completist in me driving me on, I would have definitely thrown in the towel. Hard to find the motivation to clear something like that when you've already beaten the game. ._. And for what it's worth, I've constructed a timeline for the franchise as well. His order for the OVAs is definitely precise, but I preferred watching all of Liminality in one go before playing IMOQ. This isn't based on my personal take, but research I've done on various .hack// forums and other websites that have discussed the proper order. http://myanimelist.net/blog.php?eid=726081 -
Yeah, the only MG VN I bought was My First Trip to Japan, and that was off Steam.

Well, if there's one thing to take into consideration, it's that SAO is a colossal gateway anime. The show probably stands above many others when it comes to raising interest (this includes non-gamers), and as such, there will be many anime newcomers that will inevitably be drawn to it. Not only that, but because it knows how to deliver entertainment, albeit sloppily, it tends to "sink in" with newcomers really well. Thus, the hype builds up, and the interest factor becomes substantially greater. And that's how SAO's popularity works! It makes sense too, because there's probably a good number of anime I loved at the time, but probably wouldn't be as enthusiastic for now. That was long before I started getting a little more anime savvy from experiencing less-known, but far-superior shows. Most newcomers won't always have that experience, and they may still be prone to taking to shows like SAO as if it were something amazing. That said, even as a veteran, I still enjoy SAO despite its lack of real quality, I'm just not a hard fan of it. I like the sequel as well, and I do, kinda somewhat, appreciate the fact that it's taking more time to flesh out the story elements, but I liked it a lot more when it just skipped through most of that stuff and got into the exciting scenes. I prefer going to the LN for story elements, and the anime for seeing the fun stuff in animation.

I've considered Haruka from Free to be pretty deep for quite a while now, but I never would have expected that depth to come back and scare me. o.o Pretty tense episode this week.

That's mean. Also, looked up the translated lyrics to this song. I don't think I'll be able to play this with a straight face again. @_@

I haven't played the first two yet, but Morrowind's my favorite in the ES franchise. If you don't like the idea of having the quest destination marked out for you, then Morrowind will be right up your alley. There's no fast travel either (there are transport methods between cities, but they're region-based and can't be used to go anywhere). As far as leveling goes, I'd actually consider it a little easier than Oblivion if you plan on using trainers (there's no limit on trainers at all). Not only that, but it doesn't force you to stick to one class theme as you can flexibly train every skill without much drawback. And you don't have to wield spells in order to use them, so you can keep your sword out while casting (if you prefer something like warrior mage or paladin builds). However, it does help to plan out your leveling a little, but if you learn how to make a solid amount of gold in the game, then you can use trainers to optimize your stats. There's also a way you can maximize every stat in the game, but I'll leave all that to your discretion (feel free to ask me if you want to know). Edit: Actually, there is a limit on trainers. You can't have the trainer bring your skill above the stat it's affiliated with (like strength or agility) -
I'm not sure if this is the same girl, but I was able to pull up a VN in which the artist has done the work for (it has a very similar looking heroine). http://vndb.org/v12974 My ava comes from this artist's tumblr. http://kazuharukina.tumblr.com/

I'm gonna sign up for the hell of it. Before I send in my request message, is there anyone that would want to go in as a duet with me? https://osu.ppy.sh/news/95662228778 Just know that I don't have a particularly good voice, so you don't have to either. I'm just doing this for kicks. ^^
