Not bad, not bad. I'll have to give that map a try, actually. Looks like a good map to sharpen my AR9 on. Speaking of AR9 maps, I finally FC'd one!

Not everybody can be a true critic I suppose. Just from the screenshots alone, I can already see the brilliance behind this work. Should definitely be nominated for an award.

Difficult to read =/= bad. I may not be able to judge it from a player's perspective since it's still outside of my difficulty range, but I could see this being a fun map to play once I get better. I noticed that one of the bubbles for this map came from Charles445 (I have a lot of respect for this guy). Plus, there's 4 S's on this map, so I don't see why it should be frowned upon. Personally, I like it when maps try something different. It helps expand your skill range when you practice at it. And is there anything at all that would make this map unrankable? I don't think Thelewa's opinions should be taken seriously at all. Have we already forgotten how he was on Ask? There's also a lot of people that like this map, so why hate on it and not just ignore it? There's plenty of other maps that could be better suited to your preferences.

I've only ever read 2 VNs that have kept me consistently interested. It looks like you have one of them listed already, lol (G-Senjou no Maou). The other title on my list would be Saya no Uta. It's a short VN, but it doesn't drag out nearly as much as the usual work in the medium, and I loved it. I wouldn't personally consider it consistently engaging since there are a couple routes that could have been written better, but I really liked the common route in Rewrite, and the plot was really interesting too. It gives you something to look forward to and delivers a lot in the end. Also, do you have a vndb for us to look at so we're not suggesting anything you've played already?

I've picked up a guide from Ixrec, but I'm willing to look at alternatives. I should probably get started on that also since there are a lot of untranslated works I'm interested in (and not just VNs, either). What do you use?

I don't have that much confidence in Thelewa's judgment. What reason does he have to believe that nothing will change from this? If you really take the time to think about it, Marcin's comments make a lot of sense. You're gonna have that many more people on the BAT, and QATS will be there just in case someone messes up. Aren't there quite a few maps out there that are ready to be ranked, but haven't been approved yet? I'm not sure if I'm really missing something because of how I'm not entirely active in the mapping community, but is there anything that would keep this system from working? I think that the only reason the BATs aren't approving maps that quickly is due to the number of maps there are in queue. If the new BAT looks over those, and the QAT checks them for quality, it should help push more maps out.

I haven't changed anything from default (other than the picture quality), so it should be like that when you use Imgur. Never hurts to check though. It'll still show images in the areas you link them in, but your image uploads won't be displayed to random passersby on Imgur unless you set it to. Ah, I see what you mean. Some kind of host server has to be set up in order to display anything online. The image hosting can be done by the forum you want to link your content in, but, as Kendjin mentioned, that would use up the forum's resources. That's the main reason an alternative host is preferred, so it lightens the burden. As long as you have your settings on private for Imgur, you can link those images here, and they will still not show up to anyone that isn't looking at the post you linked it in. Hope I cleared things up a little for ya.

Maybe he just wants to know why the option isn't there? I'm not sure. There's a few ways his post can be interpreted. Just to throw in my two cents, I have come across a few forums that did have the option to upload images to a user profile. I do see a little bit of benefit to this kind of thing since you could express your interests through uploaded images (like lolis and stuff). I've personally never used anything like that, nor do I care about it, but I know some that do. Also, if you just want a place to store your images without displaying them, Imgur has that option.

Have you guys read up on the news for restructuring the BAT? What are your opinions on it? I was a little unsure how it would help improve things, but then I read up on one of the comments and I'm starting to see this as a really good system.

Yeah, as far as jokes in VNs go, Grisaia definitely takes the cake. That video hydro posted is one of my favorite comedy scenes. ^^ I liked the pillow joke too.

Finished Seto no Hanayome and started GJ-bu on a friend's recommendation for SoL. Probably a result of the former, but I just can't appreciate the comedy of the latter. It has a nice atmosphere though, and the girls are adorable. Not sure if I was just overly attentive this time around, but I don't think I've ever heard any character laugh the way Mao did in episode 2. She was like "huhuhu no hu" and it was pretty moe. :3 Seto no Hanayome is a fantastic comedy. As far as the genre goes, I'd have it as my 3rd favorite (1st being Gintama; 2nd going to Binbougami ga). I was surprised by the quality of the English dub too.

I believe it depends on the license they have, but CR won't always be able to provide same-day simulcasting. Also, decided to drop Underwater in favor of HS for Barakamon. Those guys are still only on episode 2. I really liked their subs for the series, but I just can't wait any longer. 1 month is usually my limit.

Don't forget, you can even post shortcuts and links in those folders too. It's really cool what you can do with the file explorer in Windows sometimes. Heck, in the directory where I have my anime saved, I'll have a link that brings me to my anime list so I can update it more conveniently while I'm in that directory. I have links to photobucket and imgur in my images folder too. And here's my most recent desktop. It's relaxing in a way.

The drama up until then felt a little forced, but the ending did a lot to make up for that. This episode of Hanayamata managed to make me tear up a bit. Good stuff. ;_;

That's fine with me. I don't mind if there's only one loli, and I tend to follow recommended route order for just about anything I play anyways.

The last Kiss x Sis OVA was okay. Not quite as potent with the ecchi this time around, but still fun.

Just about any VN that tries to be emotional will make me cry. I'm pretty soft. Biggest tear-jerker for me is Little Busters. ;_; So far, the only game that's tried to make me cry and failed is Katawa Shoujo. I kinda dropped it after just reading Hanako's route though. Can't remember what it specifically was that put me off, and I wouldn't necessarily call it a bad game, but I didn't like the way it was written.

Same here. I use to just post the codes in a random comments section on CR, but I'd prefer to share with a community that I'm actually active in. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, I won't be able to post any more codes for a little while. I do plan on re-subscribing once I'm set.
