  1. I treat Walmart like an obstacle course.
  2. Play AR8 till you get better at it. It does help a lot.
  3. I feel ya. The only thing I'm consistent with is acc, but my aim is kinda sporadic. Although lately I've been getting better after doing the low AR practice that you mentioned some time ago. That FC I posted just now was on my 2nd try, and it's my highest pp score too.
  4. If you believe you'll never get better, you won't. You are the master of your own mind. So, I finally got my gaming mouse back, and this happened on the same day. It's so easy to FC something when you're not using cheap hardware. And actually, the G502 Logitech sent me to replace the G500s is way better designed for osu. The mouse clicker doesn't arch up, so it's easier to keep a good grip.
  5. Dat one spot.
  6. That wouldn't be an honest statement though, I always ask for help when I need it. Thanks for the support though! I'm actually starting to feel a little better now. One thing my therapist brought up about anxiety is that doing research on what you're panicking over can help you calm down. And it worked; I was able to calm down when I started reading interview tips. I need to start doing this more often.
  7. Oh, drat, did I miss that? My apologies. Happy late birthday! Confession: Interview's today. My stomach feels like it's gonna explode.
  8. Get supporter and just grab new maps as they come out (for songs you like anyway). I'd also recommend downloading stuff from the top rated and most played section. Most of them are really good.
  9. Almost 99'd that. But that's alright, I'm almost getting better with my $1 backup mouse. Still waiting for the replacement on my gaming mouse (which will hopefully be within a week).
  10. The jokes just keep rolling in. Only Donald Trump could have a legitimate debate with himself.
  11. Hey, Funya, I just thought of this site that could help you in your studies. I haven't used it for anything but SAT test prep, but it's pretty spot-on. Maybe it can help you catch back up on your studies. https://www.khanacademy.org/
  12. I don't think it's possible to get a job in the US without one. Our rate of unemployment is a bit high, so competition for a job is kinda up there.
  13. Confession: Holy crap, I finally got invited to a job interview next month on the 5th. It's for a Chinese fast food place too (score)!
  14. In commemoration of David Bowie's death (rest in piece), Square-Enix is giving away Omikron: The Nomad Soul until the 22nd. This giveaway is a Steam key, so you'll want to have the Steam client set up to get it. https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/281956/omikron-the-nomad-soul-pc-download It looks pretty interesting, so I'll be giving it a shot. You'll be in for a treat if you're a fan of David Bowie. So far, the only common complaint I've come across is the save system. But, for the most part, it seems to be pretty well accepted.
  15. Confession: That's how I am with Skype period.
  16. Confession: I'm feeling a sweet sense of relief already. My muscle twitches are finally starting to settle down a bit and I'm getting fewer headaches.
  17. Hi, Tay. Thanks for fixing the problem with the filters in the unread content section. The threads I posted in are coming up correctly now. I'm having a problem with the settings reverting back to default every time I re-visit the section though. Good luck with all the other fixes. I'll keep you posted if I find anything else.
  18. Oh cool, I made it back just in time to miss the event I absolutely saw coming. Too bad~ Just wanting to point out that this is the same thinking trap I fell into after I left the Army. You don't want to self destruct over it, but you don't want to stop caring. Whether it starts in school or later on in life, you can make yourself into a success. It's better to start off sooner while you're retaining as much knowledge as you are. I don't know if you realize this or not, but you've accomplished a lot more in school than I did, and I've even forgotten more than half of what I knew back then.
  19. Still playing Runescape. Today's move day! I can't wait! ^^ Shoot, I wasn't even mad when the dogs woke me up with their barking last night.
  20. Still waiting for my replacement to get here. It's the holidays, so I guess the slowness is to be expected. But hopefully soon I'll get back into playing Osu again. Anyways, I've been following the progress on the Tengaku map and read one of _index's comments here. https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/p/4781263 I know it's common knowledge by now, but it's still depressing to see how the ranking process works nowadays. At least the mapper is cool enough to keep the superior unrankable version along with the ranked one. Why does a map have to be less fun to get ranked? D:
  21. Acknowledge your past mistakes, but don't dwell on them. I don't know how difficult it is for you to motivate yourself, but the only way things will turn out well for you is if you work hard. I often find that some things in life are much easier to do when I research stuff. Try Googling "how to motivate yourself" and see if that helps at all. Actually, just looking up anything about neurology is pretty interesting. Or maybe I just like learning random things, lol. Still, give it a shot! That's a normal reaction. Try spending more time with them. Unless you have a family of blockheads like mine who don't care enough to want to spend time with you, it's good to be with them. Studies have shown that kids and young adults who spend a lot of quality time with their family are generally happier and more successful in academics. Although if they spend a lot of time at their jobs and aren't available for you, then I guess it can't be helped. And don't feel bad that you haven't been around for them much in the past. I'm sure your parents and siblings would really appreciate the change you've made to be with them more. Cherish every moment you get with them. Btw, I'm starting group therapy on the 12th this month. I have a good feeling that 2016 will be the 1st year I make major changes in my life. I've talked it over with my mom, and she's no longer concerned about me getting a license and affecting her driving insurance (still not sure why she was though, my mom makes so little sense sometimes). My 3 goals this year will be to get myself out of unemployment, get a license and start driving, and become self sufficient enough to get away from my mom without having to live with someone I probably shouldn't be with. Happy New Year!
  22. Be careful with that moisture absorption. You could very easily fall victim to Dihydrogen Monoxide!
  23. Customer service work is cancer-inducing. I remember getting a call from a pissy woman who complained about the box her warranty replacement came in. She didn't take her coffee brewer out at all, so she wasn't complaining about any damages to it, she just didn't like the box it came in. And no matter what I told her or how professional I tried to be, she just kept yelling and yelling like a moron.
  24. Confession: I tried eating a raw onion just now. I did like the taste at first, but it burned like hell after a few seconds. No idea how my dad was able to eat them like that.
