I love it when games have dialogue like that. I use to go around to random spots in Tales of Xillia to talk to people for different stories and try to unlock skits when I can. It's small stuff like that that make the RP elements more enjoyable to me.

Have you considered watching AKB0048? It's a solid idol series with superb animation and enjoyable songs. Story has its flaws and is generally hit or miss, but I liked it. If you enjoyed some of Okada's more popular works (ignoring the awful stuff like BRS), you're not likely to be disappointed. I highly recommend using Evetaku's subs for their fantastic kara.

I know, seriously. It's just so sad that the producers had to go through with that prank and blow any practical chance for this series to get another season. Well, I suppose there's always the LN. The anime was a breath of fresh air with the way it told its story and developed the characters.

I've been wanting to watch this for a while, but still haven't made time for it. A lot of my friends have had very positive opinions of it. Your comment on the romance has sparked a lot of interest though. Good romance is one of my weaknesses in anime.

It's not the story itself that I find interesting, but the potential for things to get better later on. This format is very similar to Steins;Gate which moves from a sort of uneventful build-up phase to the omg, what the heck, shit hitting the fan phase. That's generally what this anime is doing in this arc; introducing new storyline elements to utilize for a better arc. Heck, this build-up is even better than S;G's, though I'm not sure if that necessarily means it'll be better overall. We'll see.

I don't agree with that. It'd be a problem if Re:Zero was just throwing out pointless filler stuff to pad the arc, but each episode has some kind of meaning to it, and I'm personally glad that the writers are actually taking their time to flesh out the characters and develop the story. I haven't had any problems with the pacing at all since it's been consistently interesting the whole time. My only complaint with the series so far is that it hasn't really given much depth to the characters yet. They're fleshed out, yes, but nothing about them really stands out from a non-emotional point of view. Although they do have some potential.

Just got this installed. I may not ever be able to go to Google with a straight face again, but it's worth it.

Just when I was starting to think White Fox was losing it. They've really picked themselves back up with Re:Zero. I can always appreciate an anime with a hype factor, especially when it's not the messy kind. Rem was spot-on this episode, too.
