I don't think it's anything novel by any stretch of the word, but it's entertaining. There's one heroine in particular with a nice a touching story, albeit cliched, and the adventures are nice. And for this being worked on by the same guy who directed Little Busters and Kill Me Baby, the director really took a huge step up with this and betrayed all the expectations I had initially (I was actually gonna avoid DanMachi because of him). This anime has done enough for me to consider it above average.

He says creepy stuff sometimes, but he's actually not. This is what I meant by him putting little thought into what he says.

Confession: I ended up turning down my friend's invitation to live with him again. I remember the last time I did, he was with a Hispanic person who hired prostitutes. I not only bailed out because of that, but because my friend is an alcoholic. I can handle being with him for short periods of time, but I can't live with him. Under the circumstances, I would save money by doing so, but it's not worth it. Even though he won't be taking along with the Hispanic guy, I still don't wanna live with him. The guy has a lot of annoying social habits; he gives a weird chuckle after every other sentence, talks in an endless cycle during arguments, and he puts very little thought into what he says. Hell, I even had him sent to Circles of Care because he apparently went too far with his suicide jokes after getting fired from his job (they were bad enough to convince me he was serious). Yeah, definitely not gonna put myself through that again. My mental health is bad enough as it is. I told my mom to not let me get away with putting it off, so hopefully I'll go through with it tomorrow.

Since a new season's coming out, I decided to pick up Symphogear. I can easily see why many would be turned off by this show since the writing flaws are glaringly bad, but if you can overlook those and enjoy the songs and fight scenes it delivers, it can be really fun to watch. This anime has a unique charm to it, and I like it.

Forced? I don't remember the finer details all that well since it's been over a year, but I was under the impression that the drama was properly set up and handled reasonably at the time I watched it. Sorry I can't remember, mind jogging my memory a bit? That said, glad you liked it. That scene was indeed capable of inducing diabetes.

Well, if Keima can make it work, why not? Jokes aside, I do think it's possible if your mind is advanced enough to take in the atmosphere of two different stories, but I'm not sure there are many who are capable of that. Try it and see if you have that talent. I agree. These guys have great tastes.

Once you get use to picking out anime through PVs, they can be very useful. I don't normally mind harems that much, they can be pretty fun when done right. But the downside is that they're usually slop. My hunch is telling me this will be an exception (I wouldn't trust my instincts though, they're usually off).

Considering how much I actually like watching airing stuff again last season, I've decided to pick up more this time around. Charlotte Monster Musume Jitsu wa Watashi wa Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Shimoneta to Iu Gainen Ushio to Tora Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace Joukamachi no Dandelion Gatchaman Crowds Insight Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya The three I'm especially looking forward to are Charlotte (for obvious reasons), Jitsu wa Watashi wa, and Gatchaman Crowds Insight. I know Jitsu wa might seem like an odd choice, but there was something about the PV that made it stand out to me. I'm gonna give Symphogear a shot soon. I've heard it talked about quite a bit and it seems like something I'd enjoy. Not sure if I'll watch Darkness S2 while it's airing. I will if it airs uncensored, but I'll wait till BDs if it's not.

Aside from Gintama, Ore Monogatari turned out to be my favorite this season too. Characters are affable, romance is absolutely adorable, and the drama bits are handled surprisingly well. This show gives me the warm fuzzies like you wouldn't believe.

I don't really like how it fades. 5.5/10

Alright, I finally got back to the side routes in Majikoi. Just finished Chika's route, which I thought was fairly enjoyable. My opinion of her didn't go up much after reading it, but it was still kinda nice since I like her character. Would have been better with character development, but I guess it works as a side route. Starting Gakuto's tomorrow.

You know what? I remember seeing that scene somewhere, but I'm not sure (darn image search isn't telling me anything). Might possibly be from a hentai. Oh, huh, I guess I haven't watched it.

Mikakunin is very consistently enjoyable. Chances are, if you like what you're watching now, you'll continue to for the remainder of the anime. Also, the last couple episodes are the best. It was a feels trip and a half for me. I love the romance in this series too.

At least Show by Rock did the moe really well, lol. Cute designs all around. I liked how it had a good selection of j-pop too. The anime doesn't really stand out for anything else, but I like it. Still need to catch up on some shows. I think I'm about two weeks behind, lol.
