I think you'd have to possess a certainly good enough memory to remember all those, even if they're just trivia, and/or a certain enough intelligence to pursue fields in which you are exposed to them. There is a research that measures IQ with vocabulary size; but whether or not IQ is a good indicator of overall intelligence is up for debate. On the other hand I'm not convinced if this test was an accurate measure of that. I think you'd have to go through all of those words to really test if a person possess that knowledge or not. I agree, it doesn't mean you're stupid if you don't know those words... *Queue in tomato tossing and stupid American jokes*

It calculates 44,400 words out of 3 pages of words though. I wonder what if you spent 4-6 years of your life learning a language that drunk people speak would count. Also memorizing names of every bottle, can and mixed drink. Probably not.

I'm... not British! But Babiker just gave me an idea why some people on here could speak English in a clean accent. My memory maybe off, but his accent sounds almost California like the last time I saw a youtube video he made. I wonder if anyone on these forums think we sound like surfers.

I got lost twice today while driving. I've driven to this location several times before; but I sometimes get lost in my music. When I came to it, I realized I wasn't reaching my destination at the usual time. It didn't help that everything looked the same out there. When I entered my location on the GPS phone, I was informed that my location was about 18 miles off the marker. The GPS led me to a general area where my destination was supposed to be; but it also got lost in the process, leading me to another unfamiliar part of town. Luckily I could make out my destination in the distance because it sat a top a hill, elevated from where I was at. I navigated out of that maze (an American suburban neighborhood) manually and made my way there, finally.
