having not played the game i can probably not be of much help but i am going to try anyway. There are about four possibillity's for this. ( having not played it i cant confirm but these i think are the most likely ones) 1. a bug in the emulator or the game, in which case i think you might be screwed. 2. You aciddentily set your controller up wrong, it might help if you rebind the keys and axis in ppsspp. 3. something is fysically wring with your controller, you can most likely check this in windows by going into devices and printers and opening the properties of the controller. There you can see all your buttons and they light up when pressed. You can use this to check for improperly functioning buttons. 4. check if you are not getting imput from other devices like your mouse or keyboard when playing the game. Although this most likely wont help, i hope it helps a little bit.

welcome back, and as far as i know everyone has been doing quite well. with the one exception being the torrent wich are going to be taken down soon.

just finished downloading most of them. I believe i downloaded nearly all the vn's from this list except those i already have altough some i still downloaded because i have had some trouble with the origional. Still downloading nearly 30 vn's in less than 5 hours download time is not bad, gotta love th broadband connection.

well that sucks, and i have had other things but they mostly consisted of the occasional java exploid ( which i did not even notice till i scanned my pc). then agains i usually check my active process list every once in a while for things i dont recognise or are using strange amounts of something. And clean my pc digitally about three times each year for things i forgot about or dont need anymore. Good maintanance is the best prevention in my eyes anyway. well that and using your brains when you download something or browse the internet, which a lot if people dont seems to do well news flash for those lord almighty or somethinggave you brains, USE THEM. That felt good neded to get tht out of my system. ( my parents or of the braindead variety when they download and browse so this can sometimes get me a little worked up)

well when i click on the account name (shirou) it says ''this member is no longer active''. So yeah probably someone of dubious character, who might possible have gotten himself banned real quick. either that or something wierd just happend and i drew the ''lucky draw''. kind of curious who the confirmed metors are, myself. considering i just singed up yesterday. And considering i got a pm that day about it from a member named shirou, who apperently does not exist. So i am mildly scratching my head right now.

hmmm, i think i need to clarify something here first. Mostly because i am stupid and acidently switched them up. The top picures (first version) are from the exiled-destiny sub. (13gb) The bottom picures (second version) are from the one i have had for ages. (7.7gb) My lucky point is that for both of these the subs are consistend so the subs are not a problem. yeah i also found that one but i dont think that one is mine because i dont have the names of the sub groups in front of my episode name. and the font and subs are consistent throughout every episode. Example: [horriblesubs] blabla episode 2 And yeah i have to agree with evryone that version two is better. 1. its 5 gb smaller (which does not matter that much as i got a 4tb harddrive but still every drop is a drop) 2. the collors and contrast feels more vibrant 3. the edges may be a bit more sqware but version one feels like it is washed out instead of anti alias. (hope you get what i mean) 4. i kind of like the style of the subs on version two, normally i would dislike such subs but they kind of suit the series in a way. So version one is going into the trash can. Thanks all.

Having finally gotten around to buying a new hdd, i am currently going around replacing some of the anime on my hdd with better quallity ones. Now i was thinking of replacing saiunkoku with a new hd version but this is not available. I could only find other 480p versions the thing is my old version is also 480p and i dont remember where i got it from ( not important anyway), its size is about 7.7 gig for season 1 (39 eps) now i also found a newer 480p version by exiled destiny which is about 13 gigs for the first season. The thing is comparing them side by side i really cant figure out which one is better, and there are quite a few differences. and wenether the size increase is worth it. So i took a few screenshots, and i would like to ask someone else for thier opinion. because i may be quite biased towards one version because that is how i origionally watched it. first version screenshots: second version screenshots:

a little late to the party, as i had a very busy two weeks. But can i still apply? seems like a good way to help around and a good way to get rid of my occasional ramblings. ( i really have a tendency to do that) and it seems like fun to. Hope to hear something soon.

first of all congratulations on the move. Personally i did not expect the torrent section to be taken down, as prepatched games are a very easy way to go. (in some situations) Altough i generally do not use the prepatched games, except when they happen to be the best source as it can be troublesome if you have to upgrade a patch from 1.0 to 1.1 and it is more diffucult to see what version of the patch a game is using if it is prepatched. That and the fact that not nearly all games are on fuwanovel. Altough i am curious as to what is going to happen to the torrents from now on. I am also curious as to what is going to happen to the vn section on the site ( not the forum) Personally i hope it will become a good database of translated games. Maybe something like this: - list of all english translated vn's and oelvn - tagged with primairy tags for example: (prefably no more than 10 primairy tags to make filtering easy) - official translation, fan translation, oelvn - story vn, nukige - tagged with secondary tags that describe what the vn contains: - romance, action, setting in a future world, - links to english patches if applicable, possible hosting of the patch. - links to the official site in case it is officiallt licences (mangagamer, steam) - easier to browse and filter than vndb with less clutter of similair releases, aka one page for one vn not six pages for one vn Which admittely is similair to the way vndb works, but vndb is kind of drab and above all is not very convienient to use. fuwa, could for example show everything on one page with the tags an screenshots at the top, a discription below that and below that the links. Personally i really like the way a picture of the vn is shown when you are browsing it can give a lot of info about a vn. And of course help people who are new to vn's find and install then, with the mentorship program a mentor could easily find a vn for download and simple send the link via pm or something. well i might be spouting absolute bullshit or maybe i am at least in the same continent.
