PE will always have a special place in my heart, because it was the last full length charamoege I've read before going on a 1.5 year charamoege hiatus . KO's trying to rectify that, though because I'm old now I can only read a couple hours at a time before getting a huge urge to go do something else Meanwhile, I've finally knocked out most of the hype stuff that came out this Summer, so unless S;G 0 releases all of a sudden, I'm gonna try to finally make some progress in Fate/Stay. I think I've declared this... at least 93785 times already ~~ e1: good news, I've settled down already . Done with the prologue of Fate route. Rin's a delightful tsun-tsun with some great banter with Archer . Looking forward to seeing the protag+Saber and the rest of the cast. The whole Battle for the Holy Grail synopsis always sounded lame when I read it on VNDB, but I'm already interested to see how this will all turn out.

Ye, lots of them charamoeges have "true heroines" (I like to call them "poster heroines") and Akane definitely fits the bill for this one ~~ @TexasDice I also got what you meant by your comment about the VN being "small talk -> exposition dump -> next scene" now. It flows, but it's... not very entertaining. Hence why we're all agreeing that reading this gets better the further you get along (character routes > common route) I'm starting Akane's route now... finally. e: Ya, it's been too long since I've read these types of stories... I'm actually finding it quite endearing how Akane is playing the lovestruck avoidance game >.> All that training to harden Akane and help manage her emotions / douryoku -> blows up as soon as she gives Seiichi a handshake...

Did you go into Danganronpa thinking it was more of a game than a VN? (Obviously, since you posted this in Gaming Talk ). I never found the "VN-style mechanics" to hinder my enjoyment, cuz I came into it thinking it was a VN Ye, the twist for the Second Trial was definitely obvious long before the actual reveal. RIP for the vic, tho ;-; it was a really, really stupid 'motive'

We died bois ;-; and no one noticed my legit Zero Escape: VLR watch, QQ. They gave loaned us cheap ass bracelets with numbers painted on them for the duration of the event though (I was #2, Snake, ahaha) My gawd this shit was so hype and fun!!! We signed our souls away so can't reveal anything explicit, but the puzzles were actually quite challenging, you're left dumbstruck with no idea what to do more often than you would like; me and this one gal would always comment "this is nothing like the games!!@#" while we fumbled around like idiots >.> but once you finally connect dots and make progress, it felt EXTREMELY satisfying. It was very intuitive how they made teamwork an essential element to successfully escaping; really a "Trust on Trial" indeed. We ALMOST made it, we were on the very last part, but unfortunately our time was up and so we- They use music from the games of course, I kinda lost track of what exact tracks played since I was so focused on the escape (maybe like one or two VLR tracks on loop?) but when you get notified that there's 10 minutes left and then and Consternation plays, you just know you're fucked >.> ~~ Pics!
