  1. so I'm having a little bit of trouble with this sentence ああ、ゴミ箱に、 オレの食い残した弁当を 捨てておいてやったぜ、 ありがたく思いな <---------this little part is giving me trouble, I searched on the internet and what I get from this web http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1115462911 is like a phrase (not very common one) to say something like "well keep it/you can have it/eat it, but it's more than you deserve" like in a kind of despective way. or did I understand everything wrong? xD
  2. this is called "locro" and my god is it tasty.
  3. there, we don't want to break the Japanese law
  4. when I wanted to play god of war 3 I borrowed it, same with bloodborne, the last of us and a couple more games and now it's the same, buying a console for a few games (in my case no more than 5) is not worth it, specially when you can borrow one from a friend
  5. I'm going to borrow a ps3 from a friend just to play this game xD
  6. welcome to fuwa gameguy, enjoy your stay
  7. Welcome to fuwa T-elos, another vote for planetarian and I recommend you sharin no kuni too
  8. why dont you burn it then? if you have the image (assuming that it is your image *wink wink * even if you said that it's not being sold in your country ) use alcohol 120% to burn it. like scorp said it seems your pc cant handle the emulator, what options are you using? can you take an screenshot of the configuration of PCSX2?
  9. yep the old good ibm M, I call them the "clickity" keyboards xD and those filco keyboard look pretty ok though there is no way to tell if a keyboard is actually good or not without typing on it. btw it seems to be a real pain to get used to of typing in a japenese keyboard, I mean for example you need to type PYPE to write せんせい... it is really confusing, is it actually worth the trouble? and how much faster can you type? The only downside I've experienced so far with a normal keyboard is with the switching between hiragana, katakana and normal alphabet.
  10. This is a nice surprise, I've seen a lot of ebooks bundles but never manga, there are some really good ones too, sadly they are selling just the first vol in general that's kinda sad still really cheap.
  11. Good luck with your project
  12. One thousand lies. what? narcissu is a hard utsuge, it has 1 "happy moment" at most in the whole vn, it doesnt have comedy, romance just pure sadness and emotions. while YMK has a lot of good moments and is full of comedy too.
  13. food discussion, I came to hate this, I really cant stand it anymore, every time someone starts talking about food or anything related to that, for example, what they are going to cook, what ingredients will they buy to make some special dish etc etc I skip it, I don't give a crap if it is important or not. Also butlers and waitress characters (the whole servant thing), I don't know why is there such a huge obsession for this trope in Japan, I don't have anything against those professions in particular but come on there are entire vns revolving around only those themes! Why? why is this even a thing?? I can understand 2 o 3 or in nukige vns...but come on, look at this: https://vndb.org/g1294 https://vndb.org/g1636 https://vndb.org/g640 https://vndb.org/g469 https://vndb.org/g1599 https://vndb.org/g829
  14. reading てんしのかけら the lost article of memory, this is the first vn I've seen created in flash that looks like a real vn, sadly it cant be hooked so it's a bit hard to read.
  15. this episode was better than the last one for sure and a bit longer too lol
  16. Welcome to fuwa audilis good luck with the project
  17. To give directions (?) I don't know xD I will try to see if I can find some answers in japanese because it seems that you are the first one to ask such question maybe some user in the forum already knows..
  18. Just because there is no one listed as a director in vndb doesnt mean that the vn didn't have one (people add the data, sometimes they do in some vns sometimes they dont), you should see the credits of the vn itself. There is a ton of people working behind a vn of this "size" http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/game.php?game=14237 check where it says (クリエイターの情報) those are all the people who worked on the vn. and this is the director http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/creater.php?creater=19074 and this one the chief script (?) whatever that position means http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/creater.php?creater=19075 all of this guy dont even appear on vndb, also like vndb EGS is edited by people so maybe some data is wrong or missing. EDIT: although that position should or rather is usually called 監督(I think) and not ディレクター so who knows xD
  19. only the basic book doesnt have furigana (again it makes sense from a point of view but at the same time it doesnt...), the intermediate and advance do use furigana, it also uses furigana only the first time it introduces you a new word, later on it stops using it (and it keeps using the same vocabulary or it tries to when it can) so you have to learn that word want it or not it is a cool method to force you to learn vocabulary. Japanese learning books are terrible in general, the only book that isnt so terrible is Genki and it is far from perfect... either way this are not "teaching books" per se but more like a grammar guides, even so they are far better than any other language learning book that I've seen, the way they explains the sentences is actually pretty good and simple. Yep they are very expensive but I think they are worth it, I wouldnt recommend it to someone new but if you've already read the tae kim's guide (and understood most of the topics there) this books are the next thing for you without a doubt.
  20. definitely worth it for me (you can also get it via pdf to see if it's worth it or not) I found things in this book that I havent seen in any other book (most of the japanese books sucks really bad) and everything in a very detailed way, the only thing I don't like is that the basic book doesnt have furigana for the kanji only romaji >_> maybe because it is the basic one but this is not a book for someone that just recently started with Japanese, you need to have a basic grammar understanding and some other basic concepts. The closest thing I can think of to this books is imabi, another great thing is that they also teaches you how to parse a sentence going from a really easy one to some pretty complex stuff that you will not see very often (haven read anything like that in a vn so far, specially things from the advance book).
