  1. Welcome to fuwa, wish you the very best with your vn and I hope you can find the team to create it
  2. This helped me to understand the freaking "ゆく" that I constanlty read and hear in lyrics all the time http://forum.jisho.org/discussion/comment/4520#Comment_4520 this is for for the use of じゃない LINK which can be a bit tricky at first EDIT: I will start posting some links that were useful to me when I remember them
  3. anything that resembles her nobody knows who she is but they love it on the internet and everyone uses her image all over it, maybe is because of the color of her eyes or that frighten-shy-bashful look she has. But yeah trying to copy her would be a good idea.
  4. Monster had a great ending imo, everyone moved on with their lives, there was that little thing with... well I can't use spoilers so I cant say anything lol >_> but monster should be included again this is my personal opinion.
  5. there is nothing new there, is like saying that age has a big community supporting it and a huge fan base here in the west (if making more than a million dollars wasnt enough proof already), some people even liked the anime and that's a lot to say... If I were Type-moon I would kickstart the shit out of all my games xD yes it would be a shitty thing to do but hey why not, everyone else is doing it...
  6. Monster and parasyte. both of them follow every single manga volume to perfection I would even say that it's better to watch the anime rather than reading the manga. The endings are pretty darn good imo
  7. IPB is tha best seriously migrate to another forum already, I'm more than gladly to give my copy of the suite vbulletin with CMS for free just get rid of this shitty bulletin board once and for all
  8. you haven't played any of the sakura games? what are you waiting for
  9. there are some really good OELVNs out there I recently played one, generalizing is always a bad thing to do.
  10. kana imouto and a profile for the sister type route
  11. yuzusoft vns are not that good..
  12. To be honest I'm not a guru or anything on the matter, I'm really new into the vn world, probably 1 and a half year and only half year or so reading untranslated vns, there are a lot of users in this forum with much more experience than me, for example Tyr(he knows a lot about old vns) , XReap and I'm sure clep too or even cerulean (but she has weird tastes and doesnt seem to enjoy really old vns maybe im wrong ) I'm sure there are more but I don't talk with many users either xD
  13. what you mean are long term choices, I haven't played a vn like that, most of the time a choice you pick will have some kind of effect really soon not at the end of the novel specially with a common long route, like picking something at the beginning and after 20 hours of reading watching a different result depending on that choices. I can't think of any vn like that i'm sure there is .
  14. I didn't know there was such a thing as hipsters for vns *tips his fedora* I enjoy something good, it doesnt matter if it's old or new, but mostly I like old things because I find in those types of novels things that I really enjoy, for example the death of the main heroine, a murder within a few minutes, etc etc, things that by today standards are not acceptable to do (at least no in general), you have your moege/charage with pretty characters, talking about food, and doing pretty much anything meh, it seems that having pretty art is more important than having a good story, maybe it was the same back then and I'm only playing the obscure and good stuff
  15. it's full already, the developer is just polishing it and fixing some grammar errors, other than that is complete.
  16. yes a lots of times, clicking by mistake the spoiler tag on vndb, "oh this vn looks good let's click on this tag to see another vn like this one for later, *click by mistake on "spoil me!* ....death of heroine... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
  17. I finished one thousands lies, really good vn, I wasn't expecting that ending at all. I loved every single character. One of the best OELVN I've read aside from katawa shoujo, it's around 9 or 10 hours longs so it's a good read. No into umineko! (again )
  18. You can always read dustmania (don't click on the spoiler images, dont! xD ) read sharin no kuni, it doesnt have many of the things you want but the story and the characters are great
  19. I see, thank you! I would have never figured that one out xD
  20. what the heck is bbh, sometimes I get lost on the abbreviation of the vns D:
  21. I don't know who came with the idea of limiting the downloads but it is nonsense and it hurts the people who buy the game legally, you are hurting the people who support you! I often download the games I bought from steam or dlsite many times because if I know that I bought the game I don't usually store it on my pc, I decide to erase it and maybe a week I want to try it again etc. I also have internet problems where I'm in the middle of a download and puff my internet is down or have electrical power issues that makes my modem went down very often. I can't believe this :/ If I want to share a game I'm going to upload that game that I ALREADY OWN to another host or via torrent and there is no way to stop me from doing so aka the limit download failed, now by limiting the downloads you are hurting me and me alone as a buyer, why should I need to send a request to denpa support for downloading something that I legally bought? There are tons of way of controlling that you are not sharing an account to another user, like: check the ips and if they match with the country, how many times that user downloaded the game in a lapse of time and if he did it from different ips or not, check if that user is downloading the game simultaneously in different connections, and so on... once you know that the user is infringing the rules ban him from breaking the TOS but dont do this >_> This is the laziest way to prevent "account sharing"
  22. yes, go to search>visual novel filters>Tags>Tags to exclude and writer there the tags you don't want to include. https://vndb.org/v/all?q=&fil=tag_exc-214&rfil= as long as the tag exist you can either exclude it or include it on your search. You can't add covers to the lists as far as I know i wish they was an option for that On EGS you can do something similar by hovering your mouse on the titles and see the tittle covers, sadly it's all in japanese and a bit complex to use if you dont know the language but here is an example: http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/kensaku.php?category=game&word_category=name&word=narcissu&mode=normal for tags: http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/povlist.php?pov_id=42 Be careful using the tags on EGS because it will spoil you the games, it doesnt seem to filter the tags like vndb nope there isnt, maybe you can create one...(most of the time they will erase your new tag..) it seems it's based on the numbers of votes and the general score too.
  23. Well even if it sends a worse message I want to believe that the limit is related to bandwidth cost, if they are doing it to fight piracy is inexcusable and beyond moronic too, that's why I refuse to believe that.
