Isn't that like the first thing they made a mod for? Honestly the only thing I'm disappointed about in Fallout 4 is that it uses pretty much all the same music as Fallout 3, and I liked New Vegas' selection way more :c I listened to the classical radio station for a few hours until it started looping, and have since stopped using the radio. The original ambient soundtrack is far more comfortable to listen to. Also much more varied than the radio stations. Isn't that like the first thing they made a mod for? Honestly the only thing I'm disappointed about in Fallout 4 is that it uses pretty much all the same music as Fallout 3, and I liked New Vegas' selection way more :c Also this is amazing http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/103/ I think I actually going to use it. The cutscenes are going to be awkward with the main character flapping his/her lips as a mute. just wait until someone releases a mod that makes fix the camera first person while you are in dialogue mode to be honest I got tired of hearing him talking after a while (I don't like to play female char on this types of games) and the voice acting is so so imo, I would leave it if it was the voice of lets say shepard in mass effect (not that it would fit in the game xD )

Seems to be pretty stable and the loading times will be fixed with a few patch, I'm worried about the interface and the controls in general, is like playing skyrim all over again with those shitty menus for consoles And yes the loot system was simplified in a good way.
-
Sometimes not using honorifics can screw up a dialog much later on in the story, for example there was a vn that almost by the end the characters were having a discussion on why the MC wasn't adding honorific to the heroine when he was addressing her, there is no way to fix that other than changing that entire dialog and making something up. Also honorifics are part of the culture in Japan so if you want to keep that intact and stay true to the meaning of what you are reading and translating then you should keep them. Yes you are translating a vn for a western public that they might or might not understand or know everything about the Japan culture but if they are reading a vn (which is a Japanese creation) then they probably know about it and if they don't they should, why else would they be reading it?
-
why down and not up, any special meaning?

Welcome back K450 and good luck with the healing of your mind and the self-hate, hope you are much better now

A pretty accurate review of fallout 4 http://www.rpgamer.com/games/fallout/fallout4/reviews/fallout4strev1.html The interface is horrendous, for consoles maybe it's ok but for pc is not. The optimization is really poor specially for how it looks, SOMA looks 1000 better and doesn't require half of the pc. I can't get over the controls and interface specially when you have to pick a dialogue choice and is really clunky and you can only use the keyboard arrows WTF if you don't want to use the mouse, why not asdw, if I'm using one hand with the mouse and the other one to move the character how am I support to use the arrow keys then? who designed that And when you have to build...oh boy it's just a chore to navigate through the items Finally the loading times...

Almost done with narcissu 3rd, sadly it is not what i was expecting. There is a lot of combat and pretty much nothing else, the reading difficulty is really high because like I said is just combat combat and combat (with a lot of medieval vocabulary) when the main character Iris is not fighting she is training or thinking the same way setsumi did on narcissu... but the thing is they are not in the same situation so it's hard to feel empathy for her like I did with setsumi also as the setting is fantasy I just don't care There is a lot of dialogues (at least compared to the nar 1 and 2) but not voice acting most of the time and no names either, in narcissu 1 and 2 was ok because there was just 2 characters talking most of the time but here is not the same you have a whole cast of people and it often changes who is narrating the story so it's really convoluted and hard to follow. the other stories are...not very narcissu-like I get that he was probably trying to do something new and not more of the same but that's exactly why it failed. I don't think is bad but is not narcissu even if it looks like it in the end it is not.

Yes Cicadas are obnoxious little critters, luckily where I live they are not very common. I found weird all the worshiping towards them in the Japanese culture because actually they don't mean anything it's just a damn noisy bug, probably is something they inherited from the Chinese culture where it means something other than the beginning of a new season.

congrats on your big spamm but remember to eat some veggies from time to time.

He does talk, so they can add voices for him as well. (it doesn't seem they want to though) I vote @Tiagofvarela for the job.
-
I told you it was bad I don't think it deserves more than a 5 or 6, it was a nukige with a tiny plot and that plot was about zombies that's all there is to this vn. almost no voice acting (i like how his mother the girl's mother cant remember her name had voice acting just because she was a female character because she wasnt important at all xD )too many sex scenes that went on for ever and the MC was a dick no matter what even in that situation (at least that is what i think )
-
nope, it doesn't have sex.

I would love to know the difference in how much Japanese companies pay to their seiyou, either way this seems more like an amateur thing.

After reading a ton of vns I came to the conclusion that Japanese writers are a bit obsessed with cicadas, only a few vns didn't mention them. This are just a few of the vn that I found some reference to them. I did a little research about cicadas and the Japanese culture and what I found was this: *Cicadas are associated with the beginning of summer and so they are cherished for that and.... that's pretty much it Now if we go to the Chinese culture that's a whole different thing but we are talking about Japan here and not China so 去你妈的!!! But there is more to the cicadas than that lousy noises they make! The content in this next video is a bit unpleasant so yeah just warning you And if you are bored you can either make yourself a nice wig with them or buy a cd and hear them whenever you want, the season doesn't matter anymore. It's cicada time all year. https://twitter.com/shoko55mmts/status/496913800574951424/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw So start cherishing those damn bugs from now on and if you want post some screenshots if you catch one inside a vn

how hard would say that hello, world is? I'm not sure if I want to start reading a >50 hours vn that it just too difficult for me.

downloading the game at 400kbs...this is going to take a while at least I paid 20% off with green man gaming

subarashiki is not an easy one either, baldr mmm it depends, i haven't played root double but im sure is not a vn for beginners either, I don't know who did that list but it's not 100% accurate, the moe' i'm sure they are because well it's a moe and the dialogues on those types of vn tend to be more daily like so they are fairly easy most of the time. I read Augment a few months ago because of the list that clephas did xD so yeah you can be sure that those are actually vn for a beginner.

Welcome to fuwa Suzu, enjoy your stay ~ Lilly <3

my advice is: don't read an easy novel just because is easy....like hanahira, yes, it is easy to read but you wont progress at all because it's really boring! so pick a more complex one but that really interest you, you will learn and at the same time enjoy what you are doing. this one https://vndb.org/v9890 is easy to read and the plot and characters are really interesting.

I need to hold my urge for waifu wars back, Nekoko best grill anyway, welcome to fuwa! Yume miru kusuri is a great VN and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did ^^ while Nekoko is an excellent choice as a waifu candidate I have to object and say this: Aeka >Nekoko I would object and say that nekoko > aeka, if the last CG didnt make you cry from happiness I doubt you're even human Also ill never forgive you for crushing my hopes and dreams for Sukui no Serenade to actually be a good VN. but thats another discussion that last CG is pure magic and anyone that denies that is a monster!! but aeka come on it's aeka! Don't let my opinion on that novel to stop you from playing it but I will say that I read it thinking it was going to be an awesome story, the same guy that wrote yume miru kusuri so it couldn't be bad... but oh boy was I wrong D: on the bright side, the novel is really easy to read (leaving aside all the raping parts and sex vocabulary ) Sorry Leonidas for derailing your post
