Year 2007 is great for bringing two full 10/10 masterpieces Draculius and Dies irae and many more very nice visual novels. You all know that winner is Dies irae as it's probably main visual novel of all times. First version from 2007 was quite raw, and there are some funny negative reviews from 2007-2008, but light found inner strength to polish this version and even freely give away it to original buyers. New portion of Visual Novel Openings 2007 with songs.

Ok, I'm better. This game is very much what you would expect if you came in knowing nothing of Lump of Sugar's past works and only knew the name of the company itself. It is sugary sweet, adorable, and generally interminable to someone who likes a nice balance between the cuteness and ichaicha and other aspects of a VN.

Umineko is a beast of a work that I've been putting off for many years now, probably around a decade. I first learned about it after watching the Higurashi anime back in 2010. At first I stayed away because I wasn't a fan of Ryukishi07's sausage-finger art. However these days it seems that most common ports of Umineko utilize updated art. But, that still left one other huge factor for why I was so intimidated by Umineko for so long.

The game is short with only a handful of decisions, but has lots of cheats and endings. Half of the endings involve forcing yourself onto the girl, while in the other half nothing happens. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for this week I think I can say that it's still an active one like last week with two (Short) VNs being released by Aniplex back at 19th. Other than Aniplex VNs, we also have some updates from both fan translation and Sekai along with two sudden VNs releases. Overall while I did say that this week is still an active one, it's slightly less compared to the last week. Anyway let's see what I can write for this week, and I'll explain the title at PS later.

As for this week I think I can say that this week is quite an active one with three official releases along with three release date announcements, and of course the updates from both of Sekai and Mangagamer. Overall I did find that the week is quite satisfying, and let's see what I can write about that below.
