Dies Irae - It was crowdfunded to have it available in the first place, so the limited number of episodes is quite understandable despite that Dies Irae has the same length that could rivaled Fate/Stay Night (Obviously not every fans would willing to shell the money to rival Ufotable budget), which of course lead up to the pacing problem. Anyway, let's just say that its format is not really fit in the first place for the anime even with Masada joining the anime production, especially with the very lengthy prose. Animegatari - I only know that one of the episode has Precure parody, and even then I only knew about it thanks to my favorite Precure reviewer post the blogpost about the parody. That aside, it's not like I'm interested to check the anime even with the parody in the first place anyway, especially back in 2018. UQ Holder - I only know the author made some continuation story from Negima, so in a way we can say it's the Stealth Sequel from Negima which the author end in rushed way. Blend S - Has very memetic opening back when it was aired. Also I think the uniform design is neat and good to know I'm not alone on this, because Yuzusoft designer apparently think so with them based Cafe Stella uniform color scheme on this (No purple waitress uniform in Cafe Stella though). Those two tidbit aside, it's CGDCT with the main female is the nice girl who have sadistic face, and it has three significant male casts which is rarity in Manga Time Kirara manga. Two Car - It's supposed to be 10th anniversary series for Silver Link, but from what I can see the staffs may have not be able to combine the idea they have. So obviously with them still not find the compromise while keep bickering until the deadline, the staffs decided to just combine whatever idea they have and thus we have Two Car. I mentioned this because it has premise two main female have a fight over their male trainer who absent for most of the series, and the series goes on with two bickering female have episode with their rival. So yeah, the staffs is more or less can't decided their target, whether it's to GL fans or love triangle fans, doubly so with the male trainer himself is not the MC nor we do know how his two students can be attracted to him. Mismanagement on demographic target aside, it's about a motorcycle sidecar racing with one act as the driver and one act as navigator. That's all for what I can write in regard of Autumn 2017 anime.

Since we have Ninetail planned the Kickstarter for Venus Blood Ragnarok along with a fan released the less known VN with the title 'Fake World's End at 4 AM', I decided to make the parody for the later by changing 'World's End' into 'Ragnarok' so we have 'Fake Ragnarok at 4 AM', which is quite fitting because Ragnarok is known as the big war happening when the world is about to end according to Norse mythology. Anyway, for this week, let's just say that it's too bad that Steam decided to ban Tenshi Re-Boot which obviously cause the delay. Also yes I knew Nekonyan had done harsh but necessary action towards Sakuramoyu project, but it's still rough for Nekonyan to suddenly face the setback, so yeah overall I felt unpleasant to both incidents. My feeling for this week situation aside, overall what I can say about this week it would be another below average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. Once again Steam decided to ban Tenshi Re-Boot, which mean Steam didn't bother to change their policy to their random banning, although seeing that it got its job done for years perhaps Valve know there's no point to change the system. To be fair though, its not the fault of Valve alone, but rather one of the reviewer who randomly tasked to reviewing Tenshi Re-Boot. Also to be fair, there are several questionable image even on the Steam build, so of course the random reviewer probably just banned it as the response of the reviewer being panic. Anyway, for now Nekonyan decided to ask for Hikari Field help to resubmit the build to Valve, so it will take a while before Tenshi Re-Boot ready for Steam release. Wake-Up Call in form of Tenshi Re-Boot ban aside, at least we have Nekonyan manage to have Irotoridori finally ready to be released with they'll release it on February 16th later, so feel free to note the date if you've been waiting for very long time (At most 12 years). Cherry Kiss manage to release their newest nukige, and I only know that it has aunt heroine looking from the title alone. Idea Factory announce they'll localize the newest Date A Live VN (Ren Dystopia), and they stated it'll be available sometimes in this year. Speaking of announcement, PQube announced they'll release Konosuba VN on February 8th later. From fan translation, we have Akagoei 3 is at 81.95% translated along with 10.14% edited, Nagi no Koi is at 45% translated along with 20% edited and the assets has been 30% worked on, and ChuSingura is at 37.08% translated. For the release, actually Fake World's End at 4 AM is from the last week, but I forgot to write about it. From what I can see, apparently it's about the MC who entrusted the mysterious egg by the mysterious girl Feni who tell the story about fake apocalypse by God at 4 AM morning, and it has a big number of cameo from the developer previous VNs. Go get the VN if you didn't mind the pixel art, and have fun. I admit that at first I didn't look at Venus Blood Ragnarok favorably, mostly because it's the sequel of Frontier with the VN ended satisfyingly. That said, like Evenicle 2 my feeling can be changed, and so I'm look forward to the KS that Ninetail will do later. For Ragnarok itself, it's about the world after Loki united the world (Obviously with a lot of help from the tentacle). Five hundred years later, Loki was disappeared and Odin was passed away, so the political condition become chaotic with the faction that favor anyone with strong divine blood got rid anyone who have dominant demon blood, with one of those people is the MC Vali. Some times later, Vali met a boy who introduce himself as Loki, and Loki offer Vali his wealth of knowledge and tactic to help Vali which he accept. No idea when the KS will start, although most likely it'll be started around March when they released Venus Blood Hollow fandisc later. Oh well, it's not like I can expect interesting license from Mangagamer at this point anyway, so may as well a bit realistic by suggesting Nightmare x Maverick, Imouto to Kanojo, and Soreyori no Prologue. Also I just list minori as the company that I want to see more work of, and lastly I wrote Madosoft as the company that I wish Mangagamer partnered with. PS - For the info of my choice of VNs, Nightmare x Maverick is the 6th Nightmare series with Guilty finally divide the sex scenes between two heroines almost equally, Imouto to Kanojo is Waffle lengthy nukige with somber atmosphere, and Soreyori is minori VN with reasonable breast drawing. Yeah, I know the selection are mostly nukige, but considering any interesting title that Mangagamer partner have may need a bit more effort to localize, I may as well suggested nukige from their partner.

Welcome to the first VNTS Review in 2024, and once again Happy New Year. For the title, since we have Funbag Fantasy 4 update from Mangagamer, I figure may as well parodied the title by changing the word 'Fantasy' into 'Native Isekai' with 'Native Isekai' term is the meme that was happen when some people did mentioned fantasy anime as native isekai anime (Know Your Meme page on it), so we have 'Funbag Native Isekai' as the title. Anyway for the first week of 2024, that incident aside I suppose I can say that this is another plain week, although if anything else at least we have Mangagamer updates with some have some notable progress. Other than that, we also have the update from Daybreak and more importantly Committee of Zero finally reveal their progress on Chaos duology fandisc work. Overall, this week is almost below average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. For the very first fully translated VN released, we have Winter Memories release courtesy of Kagura Games. From what I see, it's the nukige with young boy MC have a lot of sex with his aunt and two older cousins, and also a simulation game. Also for some reason it has a lot of Steam player, although perhaps it may because it's available on Steam in the first place. We also have Bushiroad announce three VNs, with one of those, Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, got the VN with the title Revue Starlight El Dorado. For Shoujo Kageki itself, from what I understand it's about all girls engage in a duel to earn the place where the winner will get one of the lead role in legendary play Starlight, with some dramatic moment in between (Sort of like the mix of Glass Mask and Lupercalia). Oh yes, I mention this because Frontwing will make the VN available in English, and they already have the exact release with said date will be August 8th later. Finally Mangagamer gave us updates of their project at the start of 2024. As for their updates, currently we have Sex Open World at three quarter translated along with 70% edited, Dead Days is fully edited, Eve of December is fully translated along with 88% edited, Funbag Fantasy 4 is at 73% translated along with 71% edited, Rance 03 is at 65% translated, Rance X is at 72% translated, and Ixseal is at 71% translated along with 68% edited. That's all for Mangagamer's updates for the first week of 2024. Daybreak has few things to mention, especially with on how the work for Yuzuki's patch is still ongoing. Speaking of Daybreak, we have Akagoei 3 is at 81.24% translated along with 4.7% edited. We also have ChuSingura progress, with the current progress is at 36.48% translated with the second route is at 55.6% translated. Like I say beforehand Committee of Zero revealed Chaos duology fandisk progress, and one of those is Chaos Child Love Chu Chu in which it's been fully translated along with past halfway (55.3%) edited. Of course there's also Chaos Head Love Chu Chu progress, in which currently it's at 70.54% translated along with 22.7% edited. For the info, both are more or less the fandisc of the duology, in which it's definitely far more lighter compared to the main game, although Chaos Child one still has some plot in there. Also yeah GHS did already translate Chaos Child Love Chu Chu, although it won't be redundant here, because the team didn't translate the playthrough video, but instead they've been working hard on porting both fandisc into PC version, so at least we should be able to play both on PC if it's available later. Well, ...how should I say this? Perhaps I shouldn't update the VNDB entry when it was released so that VNTS person from 4chan didn't caught it and then inevitably spread the news that caught up one of Nekonyan's staff attention considering Sakuramoyu is from their FAVORITE company (Sorry for the intentional pun). That aside, I understand very much that this is neccesary evil seeing that they'll face huge risk if a fan released the patch of the VN from their partner companies, especially if the company caught the wind of it. Personally speaking though, I didn't exactly like on how it's going after all even if I understand the situation. in the end, sorry for the rambling and what was done is already done. So, let's just move on from this complex matter. PS - Forgot to say congratulation for the common route patch release, and good luck on whatever you'll do next.

Honestly speaking I didn't care for Fate franchise enough to getting mad over someone else criticizing it, but to each of their own when it come to it. Let me comment in regard of Summer 2017 anime here. NGNL movie - Apparently the reason on why there's no second season is because Madhouse staffs do their job too well, so much the staffs afraid the second season won't satisfy the fans if the studio can't get ahold the anime staff for the first season, although that reasoning is just being conjecture. Anyway, the movie is about Sora and Shiro ancestor in the world before Ted enforce the rule where all conflict must be resolved through the game, so naturally there'll be some good war scene in there. Princess Principal - It's CGDCT anime with the cute things those girls do are doing the spy mission and helping their friend to ascend the throne (One of the girls is the princess who is fourth in line for the throne) in Alternative Universe of England. That aside, it's more or less the anime about spy with England divided into two factions (Kingdom and Commonwealth) with the girls working for Commonwealth faction. The staffs did air the episode out of order just like Haruhi, so you need the guide to watch the episode in right order. It has second season which prove this series is quite popular, although it's available in form of six movies with only three out of six movies are available as of now. Hina Logi - It's like GL spinoff such as Soul Eater Not, To Aru Railgun, or Hidan no Aria AA, and what I can guarantee is there won't be male MC from the main series or even the heroines (So no case like Touma in Railgun or Aria in AA). For Hina Logi (And also the main series Luck and Logic), it was made as the promotion for new card game, and it share the lore from the card game. Classroom of the Elite - Ayanokouji is definitely can be said as someone who willing to do anything in order to raise from the bottom, something that Kinugasa like to write back when he's focused with writing Kaito in Akagoei trilogy. Yes, the original material of this was written by Kinugasa, and at least he can use the excuse that the novel is still ongoing in case he need to end one volume in unsatisfying manner just like his usual VNs. By the way, conveniently it has the third season in Winter 2024, so at least Kinugasa is quite successful with this. Oh yes, the premise is more or less like Assassination Classroom with the focus is on the students who dumped into the lowest hierarchy, although of course Kinugasa didn't write the alien character as the the stand in for Koro-sensei. Made in Abyss - It has cute drawing with some of frightening contents (Of which there'll be a lot) which to say is quite contrast, and such formula manage to attract a number of audience. Isekai Smartphone - I did watch this on Youtube, and let's just say that it might be work as the anime that you watch in the boredom, which of course turned out to be quite successful so much that it has second season. Story wise, it's more or less the author wish fulfillment with Touya is blessed by the God, and can bring smartphone which can connect to the previous world network. Not that I can calling out anyone else who liking it, seeing that one of the anime that I'll watch is very similar with this (9999 Tank) only with the MC is not from another world. Isekai Restaurant - It's about the chef who has his restaurant can be connected to the other world every Saturday, and each of otherworld people will do whatever they want to enjoy the food at the restaurant. The anime is pretty much episodic with the goal to show delicious food the customer and audience, so you can enjoy this without the worry of the epic plot (Unless you want to make a fanfic on how the door to the restaurant can trigger great war with a lot of casualty). Again, it's quite successful in Japan because of the very light story, so it has second season as well. That's all for what I can write in regard of Summer 2017 anime here.

First update in 2024, and turned out it's still not in regard of Yuzuki's patch release. Oh well. Anyway, may as well copy paste the info from the blogpost below. No idea on why they still working on QA again, although perhaps it's because Ginharu is indeed has a lot of issues, especially in regard of line breaks and also probably want to make sure there's no error left in the route. There's also the matter of adding subbed ending and translating the image, which even Tsurezure is not be able to do so (Insert the subbed ending), so at least there's quite a dedication there. Welcome to my list of best-rated translated visual novels in 2023, with the world back to normal after the pandemic. Of course, we still have several translated VN releases, even though the title is not as big as in several past years. But if anything else, seeing Mahoyo being available on Steam means Type-Moon showed an interest in releasing their translated VN on PC, which is quite interesting. Also, I'm sorry if some of your favorite VNs are not on the list because I may be a bit subjective when making this list. As for the rule, the translation must be considered complete by VNDB as of today, June 2nd, 2025, and the score for each VN is the score on VNDB today. Oh yes, I almost forgot to say the scores could change in the future. 10. Kunado Kokuki (VNDB 7.38) I already guess Purple Software has a plan to add translated Kunado in Steam by reducing the number of sex scenes to almost less than half on either Amatsutsumi or Aoi Tori. This time, Purple Software asked Shiravune to localize the game, which makes Purple Software work with four publishers. Even with fewer sex scenes, Shiravune still cut one route for the Steam version before the release. The setting for Kunado is around 1,000 years in the future, with Tekki (the metal that becomes sentient) roaming across the Earth and attacking humanity. Tekki also caused further problems by corrupting all kinds of metal, so humanity had no choice but to revert the civilization to ancient Japan and reduce their numbers. Even so, the humans didn't give up, so they fought against the strongest Tekki and won after one big war with the loss of the strongest warrior. A hundred days after the big war, the amnesiac man (the MC) who knows the civilization from 1,000 years ago woke up from cryogenic sleep. Seeing that humans didn't have any other knowledge besides warfare, the amnesiac MC decided to teach the humans the knowledge to rebuild the civilization. 9. Walkure Romanze ~Shoujo Kishi Monogatari~ (VNDB 7.54) In 2011, Ricotta released Walkure Romanze after being successful with Princess Lover. Like Princess Lover, Walkure Romanze has a high-class setting, although they also add jousting sport. While Ricotta themselves is not as famous as Minato-soft, at least they still manage to get some anime VA to voice the characters in Walkure Romanze, such as Shitaya Noriko and Uchiyama Yumi. Ricotta also did their best on the graphic, which made Walkure get the Best Graphic award from Getchu in 2011. In 2012, a fan was interested in translating Walkure Romanze, although the project was going nowhere, so there's no hope of seeing the translation of Walkure Romanze if not for a 4chan user who decided to work on it back in 2021. After two years of effort, we finally see the full translation patch for Walkure Romanze available in August 2023. For the VN, it's about Takahiro, a prodigy in jousting, although he has an accident that forced him to retire. Even so, he still works on jousting as the begleiter (assistant). Being former athletes, many aspiring jousting athletes want his assistance. So obviously, we're going to see Takahiro help the athletes and see his romance blooming while at it. 8. Anonymous Code (VNDB 7.54) I admit that initially, I thought MAGES did milk Steins Gate again when they made this, especially with the staff saying it has the same setting as Steins Gate. After I see more of the game, I think at least it's not just blatantly milking Steins Gate. Anonymous Code is the sixth Science Adventure VN, and it had six times rewrites. The premise is the hacker MC, Pollon, says he wants to elope with a cute girl, only to have his friend dismiss him. One day, he saw his imaginary girl, Momo, in danger. Being the nice guy and engaged with Momo in his mind, Pollon tries to save Momo even though it's dangerous. Then, Pollon finds the strange app that allows him to Save and Load. Yes, Save and Load like in the video games. So, Pollon use the app to find a safer way to rescue Momo. After escaping the danger, Pollon finds many dangerous people who want to capture Momo, so Pollon decides to do his best to fight the chaser using the mysterious app. Anonymous Code didn't have character routes, which may be good if someone has a problem with the character routes. It also has the English dub, unlike past Science Adventure VNs, so it has the usual translated video game feel. 7. Clover Day's (VNDB 7.66) In 2014, Astro wanted to express his love for this VN, so he established a translation project for it. Time passed, and it was going well until he had to stop his translation activities in 2018. In 2020, Nekonyan announced this as one of their licenses, with the new translator, Ittaku, working on it. Unfortunately, it was not smooth sailing, seeing Valve decide to ban the VN. In 2023, Hikari Field submitted the heavily edited VN to Valve, and they finally accepted it. Afterward, Nekonyan released this in August 2023. The setting for this VN is nothing special, especially if we compare it to the other Alcot VNs, such as My Girlfriend is the President or Tokyo Hero Project. The premise is about Yuuto, a half-Japanese who spent his time in an orphanage in England. One day, a businessman from Japan picked Yuuto as his stepson. At first, Yuuto had difficulties getting along with the other children, but then he managed to do so. Ten years after Yuuto came to Japan, Yuuto started to experience romance with one of his childhood friends. I forgot to mention the staff showed their interest in twin heroines, with four heroines being two pairs of twin siblings. 6. Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii Desu ka (VNDB 7.84) Back in 2020, Nukitashi was almost ready to be released in English, only for the chance to blow up thanks to the publisher issue. Thankfully, Shiravune did pick this title, and now we managed to have Nukitashi in English. It's also worth noting that Shiravune cut most of the content for the Steam version, resulting in the Steam version having less than an hour of gameplay, which is quite extreme but understandable if we see how Valve banning works. In Nukitashi, we have the MC Junnosuke return to his hometown in Seiran. When he came back, he saw his hometown turned from a backwater town into a sex paradise thanks to the law that allow people to have sex whenever they want. While this sounds good on paper, he feels that there's something wrong with the state of his hometown, especially when it becomes a police state with civil servants forcing people to have sex. To fight back against the situation, Junnosuke revolts against the system while backed by a mysterious sponsor. As it turned out, Nukitashi's focus is not really on sex like the title suggests (nukige meant sex-focused VN), but instead on the deconstruction of the setting that allows the people to have sex as much as possible. 5. Tokyo Necro (VNDB 7.91) After Muramasa and Totono, in 2016, Nitroplus released Tokyo Necro with them experimenting with it, notably showing the fight in 3D animation. In Tokyo Necro, the world in 2199 facing the second Ice Age and still reeling from the most terrible war. As if the situation is not bad enough, there are living dead (also known as zombies) roaming in the open, and some people capable of making the zombies do their bidding called Necromancers. Thus, we had two protagonists, Souun and Ethica, working hard fighting the zombies. Even though both are capable of combating the living dead and have an interest in women, both have many differences, such as fighting style, personalities, and gender (Souun is male while Ethica is female). One day, Souun and Ethica do a mission to rescue the VIP person kidnapped by one of the Necromancers. After fighting against the Necromancer, Souun finds the mysterious girl who forgot everything except her name, Ilia. Afterward, both Souun and Ethica started to search for information about Ilia while investigating more about the Necromancer they fought. Eventually, their investigation uncovered multiple secrets connected to Ilia and the world around them. 4. Meikei no Lupercalia (VNDB 8.16) In the past, I saw a post about voice acting in Lupercalia, so I read the post. Of course, I did hear the sample of the voice acting, and the VA went all out to voicing the character (said character is supposed to be the best actress in the setting, Orihara Hyouko). With good voice acting, I thought it could be good to have it translated, although I knew there was almost no chance back then unless a publisher somehow decided to pick the license. However, one fan decided to take the job of translating the VN alone. After months of hard work, he released the full translation patch with the English title Lupercalia of the Silent Accord. In Lupercalia, we have Tamaki, formerly a child theater actor who quit acting, invited to see Lampyris Troupe performing Hamlet. Curious, he watched it and found out the performance was good. Afterward, Tamaki tried to enter the troupe with his childhood friend, Futaba, only to find out they must pass a test by doing a play. Seeing Tamaki still has cold feet from acting, he took the director's role to direct Futaba's first play. For the VN itself, there'll be some harsh stories about the theatre and how it'll affect the people in it, for better or worse. 3. Tsui no Stella (VNDB 8.22) Tsui no Stella is one of KEY VN. For information, while their more famous work is quite lengthy, they also like to make several short VNs, with those VNs usually having robot characters (a trend they started way back in 2004 with Planetarian). This work is not different from those short VN, with the single heroine, Philia, being an android. The premise for Tsui no Stella is Jude, the MC, is the Courier who worked a dangerous job as the delivery man to deliver the cargo. As for why the job is a dangerous one, it's because Jude lives in a world where humanity is almost extinct with the machines roaming around. One day, Jude received a request to deliver some unusual cargo, and that cargo was Philia, an android who is not hostile to humans. After Jude met with Philia, Philia decided to ask Jude to escort her to the place where she could turn into a human. Seeing no choice, Jude decided to deliver her to her goal. In the journey, Jude and Philia develop their relationship, although in this case, it would be like father and daughter rather than in a romantic sense. The writer for this VN is Tanaka Romeo, who also wrote one of the long KEY VNs, Rewrite. 2. Rance IX - Helman Kakumei (VNDB 8.31) Unlike when there was an 11-year gap between Sengoku Rance and Rance Quest English version releases, we only have a two-year gap between Rance Quest and Rance IX releases, so good job for Mangagamer. For Rance IX's premise, our selfish Rance goes to Helman to seek the secret item in Helman's Royal Treasure. However, seeing Helman is in turmoil, there's no way for Rance to get it. Enter Patton, the former prince of Helman, asking for help from Rance to start the revolutionary army. Rance agrees with some conditions that he must be the one who leads the revolution and has the freedom to have sex with as many girls as possible. Patton agrees with Rance's conditions, and from there, both start to change Helman with revolution. In Rance IX, Alicesoft decided to rehash the gameplay from one of their older VN, Mamatoto (translated by the same translator, Arunaru), with both VNs having several similar soundtracks. Rance IX is the penultimate game of the Rance series, with Alicesoft writing up how Rance will take care of the problems in the oldest human country before going all out to wage war against the Monster Army in Rance X. 1. Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- (VNDB 8.82) In 1999, Nasu made a VN with the vampire heroine (Arcueid) called Tsukihime. Seeing that he was still new, he didn't have a big publisher to back him up, so he could only sell it at Comiket in 2000. In 2008, Nasu announced his plan to remake Tsukihime and started its development in 2012. Soon after, Nasu was busy with Fate/Grand Order, so much so that the development halted in 2013. The work resumed in 2017, which still needs some years to finish because Nasu decided to insert new ideas into the remake as much as possible. Finally, after all of years in development, in 2021, we see the release, but only for the first part because the second part is still in development. The premise for Tsukihime is the same no matter which version, with Shiki (who can see the death) murdering Arcueid by impulse. Afterward, Shiki sees Arcueid revived because she's a vampire, and then Arcueid asks Shiki to help her fight because she's weakened after being revived. We had the fan translation patch released first before Aniplex announced this at AX, which made the Aniplex version redundant, especially since they don't say it'll have the PC version (it is only available on Switch). That's all for my list of translated visual novels released in 2023. Overall, what I can say last 2023 is more or less the same as 2022, only with no exciting fan disc release. I can say that Shiravune is getting more aggressive with the releases, even though most of their 2023 catalog is not exciting to me, so I hope they'll get more good work in 2024, together with Nekonyan. Mangagamer does release some good titles, with JAST still at their usual pace, and let's say that I hope Sekai will get the better title in 2024. So yeah, I'll wait and see regarding those three publishers, and hopefully, they can bring some surprises. PS - Seeing we have Tsukihime Remake, I parodied the most known work from the author, Fate/Stay Night, by changing "Stay" into "Twilight" with the latter from the Twilight saga (and because both Tsukihime and Twilight saga have vampires), and also I changing "Night" into "Revolution" with it is from Rance IX English title, The Helmanian Revolution, resulting "Fate/Twilight Revolution" as the title.

Visual Novel Translation Status (31/12/2023) Welcome to my last VNTS Review for 2023, and for the title since we'll going to have Sakura Succubus 8 release in January 15th later along with Goblin on the March release, I'd just combined both title so we have 'Sakura Goblin'. As for the last week of 2023, to be frank once again it's another plain one, although on the other hand there's some updates from Shiravune with JAST released something. Other than that, there's some updates in regard of Purple Software VNs, which to say are bigger than the release. Let's see what I can write in regard of it. Looks like Nekonyan has some problem with Aoi Tori, especially with the Purple Software mention they'll took away the license if the release is not happening in April 2024, which to say is quite hairy situation for Nekonyan. So obviously Nekonyan has no choice except to cancel their plan to port the VN into Unity and use its original engine, which to say has quite a handful license cost (At least I can be sure there'll be no critic regarding removed feature like in Kunado Kokuki). That said, actually they already has some progress on working in the original engine with the QA work theoretically can be started right now, so maybe April release at the latest may be plausible if all goes well. Speaking of Purple Software, Shiravune announced part 2 of Criminal Border as expected (The link to the Steam store), and they'll release it in Q1 of 2024 (ie March 31st at the latest). Turned out 2023 release for Koichoco is not happening, so obviously the release will happen sometimes in the future. Speaking of release, JAST did release Goblin on the March with the premise the MC is reincarnated as the goblin in the different world, and then he'll do his best to increase his kin by impregnating as much female as possible (Up to five heroines). While admittedly it has good looking graphic and gameplay, I'll just pass on this. Still, have fun if you're already playing it. Forgot to mention we'll going to have Konosuba VN release in 2024 later, although PQube not announced the exact date yet. Shinzou Translation has working on another short VN, Nagi no Koi, with the permission from the developer. From what I can see in Japanese website, it has two male MC with each MC has relationship with each two heroines and has samurai setting. Other than that, they planned the release sometimes in 2024 and they already has some progress, with it currently has the script at 16% translated along with the assets has been 10% worked on (No idea if it mean the UI or picture when it come to assets). Last but not the least, we have Tsui no Sora Remake was fully translated and edited with the translator is moving on doing the QC work before finally release it, which according to the translator 'hopefully only take a couple months'. Here's my very late comment in regard of Getchu 2022 here. Looks like Qruppo did work harder in Hentai Prison so much it has better reception compared to Nukitashi 1 and 2 with both are already well received. The setting for the VN is quite ironic, with the MC was imprisoned for being pervert, which obviously contrasting Nukitashi. As for whether we can see this in English, with how successful Nukitashi 1 on Steam is and we'll going to have Nukitashi 2 available in English in the near future, we may have Shiravune localize this sometimes after Nukitashi 2 release. Let's just say that I want Nekonyan to announce Ambitious Mission, although too bad that reality says otherwise because they need to deal with Floral Flowlove engine port and Kakenuke translation progress, so we may still need to wait until they decided to announce it. Ambitious Mission is about the VN with phantom thief heroine, and it has same writer as Kirikoi so of course it has several reference to Kirikoi. Jewelry Heart seems to be interesting VN, especially with the publisher so far only has Amairo Chocolata (ie Nekopara like VN) as their translated VNs. Shiravune is about to localize Amazing Grace from the same company, although it was stuck in slow review processing by Valve so they have no choice but delay the release up to June 30th later. Anyway, it should be obvious Shiravune has better chance to localize Jewelry Heart compared to Sekai. sprite still forgot to add Music Mode in original EXTRA 2, so Nekonyan still need to use their own engine for English version to have Music Mode. That aside, it's definitely one of well received VN in 2022 even as fandisc, and good to see that Nekonyan manage to get this released back in 2022. Content wise, while as expected it's Misaki after story, it also has some Flying Circus scenes so it should be worth to read if one want to see more Flying Circus. I lamented on how Marmalade keep delaying Study Steady 2, although looking on propeller keep delaying their newest VN for two years suddenly Marmalade delay become reasonable, moreso with them manage to fix the engine problem that plagued first Study Steady. That said, I can only say it's more or less like the first game, I hope that Shiravune localize this, and the summer uniform of the school is very sexy lol. Apparently ASa Project want to make the VN with the MC of Futamata forced to go through two-timing, and thankfully they didn't go School Days for the story and the setting. I just hope that someday Nekonyan license this, although we may need to wait for a while for that to be happen. Looks like Milk Factory know how to write comedy in their big breast VN so at least their VN is always well received, although I still skip it anyway. For Oppai Maid here, with Frontwing localize the first two Milk Factory VNs easy to say they'll probably localize this as well (At least it's better to have Frontwing localize Milk Factory nukige instead of keep struggling with Sharin). Turned out Same Nanokakan has some interesting horror story, which is quite unusual for the company. Then again, some of Cube VN have serious story, so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised here. The VN itself is about the MC who live with the girl who claimed to be shark for a week, and along the way the MC will find out much more buried truth beneath the island where he live. Tsui no Stella has unique release history, in which the fans did release it first in July 2023 before Visual Arts release the official version in October 2023, so the fans has two translation to chose. Anyway, it's about the MC Jude who tasked to deliver Philia to a certain place, and from there both will learn about each other while forming the bond as the family (ie father and daughter relationship). Criminal Border is about the loser MC who dragged down into danger because his erotic AMV that can arouse anyone with his childhood friend want to sell it in the underworld. It's been working on by writer and director of Nine series, so in a way it's normal to expect the story development like Nine even though it take time to get used to the arts. Oh yes, it's available in English thanks to Shiravune, which make Purple Software work with four publishers to bring their VNs into English. Currently, we already have first part available in English and Shiravune just announce the second part, while Purple Software themselves just released the third part. That's all for my belated comment on Getchu Awards 2022.

I guess it has to do being the years end, so obviously the VN developer do their best to deliver the product on Christmas. Anyway, let me try to comment on the title here. One Remake - It's more or less redundant to me because the script is mainly the same as old version, and the old version has the sex scenes in case someone somehow desperate for it. That said, this technically has quite high production value with newer anime VAs and newer art, so someone may pick the remake if the old version graphic is too old school (Both version are available in English anyway). Forgot to mention the remake still has too much choice, but from what I'd read somewhere at least the staffs alleviate the problem by adding the hint. Eiyuutan Gaiden - Honestly BaseSon has been released too much Koihime Musou so much I'd become tuned out of it, but at least good for them they still have enough capital to keep milking the franchise by making the spin off again and again. Also good for the fans they can still get new Koihime Musou game, although I can only wonder when we'll going to have full translation patch for Shin Koihime Musou finally released. Amase-Jima - I see the company is another branch of Visual Arts, and I can say the art is looking good. Although in the end, looks like it's just usual moege with something more beneath it and good production value. Yuzuriha no Uta - If 2022 has Study Steady 2 as the most delayed release, then in 2023 we have Yuzuriha no Uta as the most delayed release, in which it reached up to more than two years. While the delay is supposed understandable seeing this is the first time propeller developed new VN after Sougeki no Jaeger in 2014, I'm not really sure if it can repeat propeller's old success, especially seeing all of the heroines have big breast. At least the MC seems to be an adult one, unlike Sougeki no Jaeger MC. Imouto to Kanojo - While the title seemingly simple with the game is looks like to be nukige with it's lengthy sex scenes, turned out there's much more emotion inside the game, especially with NTR moment. That said, the main story is not really the NTR or the incest, but rather the relationship between three main characters, namely the MC with psychological problem, his little sister, and the hostess who resemble MC's little sister. Safe to say, the relationship and feeling between those three are quite complex. By the way, it's quite ironic that I find the design for nukige like VN is more reasonable compared to Yuzuriha no Uta (ie has more reasonable breast size). For VN of the month, well out of all VNs only Imouto to Kanojo that can be qualified if we count the new VN (One Remake is more or less redundant while Eiyuutan Gaiden is another spin off), although I understand that VN is not for everyone. That's all for what I can comment in regard of December 2023 release.

Kemono Friend - The anime staffs working very hard on this with very limited staffs (10 staffs) and deadline (Only 500 days) on top the marketed gacha game is already shut down, so normally no one expect this to be successful, especially with the staffs resorted to bad 3D animation to allocate the budget. Little did everyone know back then the director prove himself to be able to write interesting story even with very limited resources, and as the result it become quite successful. So much that it invite some people who want to milk it as much as possible by making second season, with the higher up firing the hard worker director for vague reasons (Involving copyright stuffs) and search for the new one. Needless to say, fans were very angry and review bombing of the second season so there's no chance for the third season. Suka Suka - It has the MC being teacher figure to the younger human weapon, and the setting is very bleak with the scary Beast roaming around. It should be noted that it has the fame as the most tragic light novel, especially with the way it tell us that not every overpowered MC can solve the world problem when said problem is very bleak. Oh yes, it also introduce the folk song Scarborough Fair to the Japanese anime audience, although I don't really know on if the song is already known in Japan before Suka Suka or not. Eromanga-sensei - I did a bit research, and I find out that most people are very angry because it has incest despite the author already make the premise that both sibling are actually step siblings, as in different birth parents. To be honest I think the hate is overblown, although I can't exactly fault the people for have the problem with incest in the anime because several good reasons. That said, I still find anyone who keep inserting anti-incest opinion into TV Trope is very annoying. My ramble aside, it's from the same author as Oreimo, except turned out that the relationship is still limited to be family like even though both sibling like each other, so at least there shouldn't be any sibling romance to worry about yet. Boruto - While it didn't have incest to be controversial, this anime easily gather controversy simply because it made as the way to keep milking Naruto which should already ended. Also compared to the father who has losing his parents and shunned by the villager, having the son of previous MC who is the prodigy with daddy issue because his father has been too busy is definitely not make good first impression, even though it make sense for the character himself. While admittedly the story is starting to getting better slowly, obviously it's never reach what Naruto achieved, which is really something that it need the original author come back and then wrote the questionable plot twist at the end just to make the reception slightly better. That's all for what I can comment in regard of Spring 2017 anime.

Visual Novel Translation Status (24/12/2023) Welcome to this week VNTS Review. For the title, because we have Animal Trail 2 release along with One Remake, I decided to make another parody of Trails game by combining 'Trails' from Animal Trail 2 along with 'Radiant Season' from translated subtitle of original One (To the Radiant Season), so we have 'Trails to Radiant Season' as the title. As for this week, honestly to be blunt it's quite plain, especially compared to the last weeks. That said, with several companies have some announcements in the last week, perhaps they took some times to rest. Anyway, let's see what I can write in this Christmas week. Unlike few last weeks when Shiravune has more than one updates, this time they only has exactly one update, namely One Remake release. Admittedly it has upgraded graphic that's up to par with newer VN along with new VAs and nice opening song, so at the first glance it's worth to pick up. That said, like YU-NO story wise it's the same, so obviously the story may not up to what we consume nowadays, especially if we compared it to modern KEY VN (I mention KEY because One is the predecessor of Kanon with Kanon itself is the very successful KEY VN). If anything else, the artist (Itaru Hinoue) drawing is far better compared to when she drew Koropukkur. Oh yes, there's no sex scenes in there, so if you prefer the older art and somehow want to see the sex scene then obviously the remake is redundant one. For the premise, it's about Kouhei who grieve from his older sister death start visiting the Eternal World with the people around him start to forget him, and in order to escape the Eternal World Kouhei must have strong bond with someone else. Go get One Remake if you're curious about old VN by KEY main staffs and prefer the newer graphic, and have fun. Sekai did release Animal Trail 2, and at least the VN has good looking graphic. For the premise, it's about Taiga became the manager of his favorite underground idol group who secretly magical girl, and in Animal Trail 2 Taiga will get close with the remaining girls who back in the prequel are just supporting characters. Go get Animal Trails 2 if you want to see more magical girl VN. Sekai also has Sheol trial released back in yesterday, and they already edited a quarter of the full game. JAST has new release on 29th later, and said release is Goblin on the March that they've announced at AX 2023. From fan translation, we have Kusarihime is fully edited and ChuSingura is at 35.8% translated with the translator is already finished a little more than half of second route (Horiibe Yasube chapter). Lastly, we have Tsuma Netori full translation patch released, and for the VN itself it's about the female teacher Makoto who keep suffering the sexual assault in her school. Makoto tried her best to protect her family by keep silent about the assault, although it only matter of time before Makoto enjoying the sexual assault and betray her husband. That said, if you're want very general recommendation, than I can give you my list of best rated translated VNs from both 2021 and 2022 (Mahoyo and Chaos Head Noah is not eroge though). Also if you want some recently translated VNs, then I can recommend Lupercalia, Kunado Kokuki, and Clover Day's. I don't know if you already read those VNs or not, but regardless I hope my recommendations can be helpful to you. PS - There's also Eustia which still not QA-ed yet, but at least it's fully translated and edited.

Scum's Wish - I only understand there's a lot of unfaithful stuff in the anime, so it should be obvious that anime is not for everyone. KKPC - With MGPC success on combat with no much of physical fight, Toei decided to one step further by removing physical fight altogether. Unfortunately majority of Precure fans understandably not on board with it, because Precure has been known for magical girl with physical fight for years. I still remember on how KKPC indirectly break the community, and let's just say that I learnt the lesson that moderator action is not always be objective and right (Which sort of help when I see some worse mod out there). Oh yes, KKPC has food theme (Sweets) and it has GL pair with Toei decided to copy the success of Haruka x Michiru from Sailor Moon (Personally I'm not fond of the GL couple in KKPC, but to each of their own). Tanya - It's about very oppressive manager from Japanese company who was killed by his subordinate and then reincarnated as cute young girl (The titular Tanya) in the world with constant war as the punishment from God because the manager is very brave for challenging Him. Rather than realize his own mistake and then atone for his sin, the manager instead decided to just use his talent ruthlessly in the war zone anyway with the girl soon known and dreaded in the war. Also it's understandable if you remember Izetta, because both Tanya and Izetta world based on World War in the real life (Izetta from WW2 while Tana is from WW1). Chaos Child - From what I see, the anime only adapt the common route and the true route, which is understandable seeing the common route is complete enough and the true route is the continuation of it. As for how the reception of the anime goes, let's just say that it's still not quite satisfying according to MAL, moreso with the anime staffs didn't adapt the routes that add the info to the story and the setting. Masamune - It's about the fat boy (Masamune) who was rejected and insulted by his crush (Aki), so Masamune decided to work very hard to make himself become handsome and then make Aki fall in love before coldly reject her. Easy to say it's not really working well, considering Masamune find himself gradually fall in love with Aki, which to say may be for the best considering that turned out there's something more in regard of Masamune's childhood incident. That's all for what I can comment in regard of Winter 2017 anime here.

Yuzuki's patch is exactly what you say as final full patch, and if you remember Trip he always release the patch route by route with the last route patch contain all previously translated routes. So yeah, Yuzuki's patch includes all of the translated route beforehand. PS - For trivia initially the final patch would be called as Mizuha's patch, but because Trip quit the project and the new translator work on Mizuha's route first before decided to work on Yuzuki's route, the final patch is now called as Yuzuki's patch.

Visual Novel Translation Status (17/12/2023) Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Mahoyo available on PC with the title 'Witch of the Holy Night' and Destiny Star Girlfriend release, I decided to parodied the latter by changing 'Star' into 'Witch', so we have 'Destiny Witch Girlfriend', although ironically Aoko didn't really become Soujuurou girlfriend at the end of Mahoyo (For now). That aside, there's quite a number of the updates on this week, with two interesting updates to note (Mahoyo PC release and Ever Maiden announcement). Other than that, Shiravune being active again with two releases and one new title (Albeit all of those are smaller one, and Sekai also finally has some updates with they released Gakkou no Seiiki. Overall, this week is slightly above average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. After a year since console release, Aniplex decided to try released Mahoyo on PC, which is good news seeing that not everyone else willingly buy console to just play it. The premise is still the same, with Soujuurou stumbled upon Aoko and Alice when both of them using magic, and once again Nasu did write those three characters based on Evangelion main trio. While it's too bad that apparently the initial translation has a lot of mistakes so much Aniplex announced the update to fix the mistakes, it definitely far better to just play Steam version compared to wait for the fan translation team to finally gain the will to finishing the remaining work that they didn't working on it ever since the official release announcement. Also while it has some inconvenience, at least Aniplex still know how to adjust the screen for lower PC resolution compared to Success with their 'brilliant' screen programming on Aoishiro and Akai Ito. Go get Mahoyo if you've been waiting to play it on PC, and have fun. Sekai did release Gakkou no Seiiki, and the VN is part of Seiiki trilogy with the MC has two love interests (His older sister and his classmate), so in a way Seiiki trilogy is like Uchikano trilogy although turned out Gakkou no Seiiki didn't have threesome route. Sekai also has Nie no Hakoniwa update, with them fully edited it and currently finished 20% of the QA work. Shiravune did announce new title, Kiss kara Hajimeru Egoism, and I only know that it'll be released on March 31st at the latest on top has single robot heroine. After one time delay, finally Shukusei no Girlfriend was released, and the first entry is focused on Yuuri (I hope Shiravune will announce the remaining of the trilogy). They also released My Slow Life with the Princess Knight and Her Devoted Handmaiden, and unlike Shukusei it was released without too much issue (Which mean the review process for this is goes smoothly). Cherry Kiss has new nukige release, Ara Ara Auntie Incest, and they'll release it on January 12th later. From fan translation, we have Tsuma Netori is fully edited along with the proofreading work is 80% done, 206 out of 253 script files for Kusarihime are edited, ChuSingura is at 35.05% translated, and Akagoei 3 is at 80.25% edited. Tsui no Sora Remake has both translation and editing work are almost complete (94% and 91% done respectively) with Takuji's route is fully translated, although it didn't mean that it's close to the release because the translator still want to do some remaining work (QC pass) after the editing work is done, and if anything else at least it's almost completed. Last but not the least, we have Ever Maiden will be available in English on the next year. Yes, Ever Maiden as in the newest GL VN from Liar Soft that has very unique graphic. Surprisingly, the publisher for it is not either Mangagamer or Shiravune, but instead it's Love Lab with their last big title is Sugar Sweet Temptation. I did mention that Ever Maiden is like Flowers with all girl school, and turned out there's a reason for it. While I also did mention this is the second time Liarsoft wrote GL story in all girl school like Yurirei, turned out Ever Maiden contents are more heavy compared to two ghost girls ask the MC help to establish Yuritopia, especially with the setting is the school hidden in the fog and thorns. For the premise, we have the mysterious girl Alouette who stumbled upon the isolated school Puellarium, and she need to pass a test in order for her to stay in the school with she manage to pass. Oh yes, there's no route with each girls are paired like in Yurirei, although with only three couple. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
