  1. Oh, welcome to Fuwanovel and enjoy your stay here. As for the project, let's just said the screenshot was quite interesting although will the sprite change if we had different gender ie man and woman MC sprite will be different. I think as of now your project still lacking info, so I couldn't comment much. Good luck for your project, and if you need help don't hesitate to ask us, especially if you need some idea from us.
  2. Visual Novel Translation Status (05/14/2016) Okay, the title might be too cheesy and laughable, but it's the truth from VNTS image from otome games. For this week release, I must admit that the graphic from those 2 games were not my taste ie didn't like it too much as of now. As for the premise of the VN, one of them was quite interesting and another one was very ridiculous, so much I'm laughing inside. For ridiculous one it would be otome game which the premise was something like your pet was turned into 5 handsome man. And the man who almost kiss MC in the image header was pig before he transformed to handsome blonde man, so I based the title on that. Although the premise may be absurd, actually we had something like that in the past. The example here would be Fruit Basket, which had quite successful for both anime and manga. For Fata Morgana, okay I'm always said that gothic art was not my style for VN, but I think another concern of mine would be VNDB Bayesian score which as of now was at 6.57 which is quite low to said that, although the vote as of now was also low at 25 votes. The premise was actually quite interesting though, it was something like MC was see the tragedy that happened in the mansion where MC was trapped or something along the line across century. Even though Bayesian score in VNDB was quite low and I might not click too much with the art, I said that you better not hesitate to play Fata Morgana. I mean that I remember I tried to play Higurashi before I apply PS2 graphic patch and it was still quite good imo (And I'd always think that old Higurashi art was bad). Might as well tried it in future and I'll try to get used to the art. After all, there should be good reason if EGS score and VNDB average score was around 8 as of now (scorp and conjueror apparently like this VN). Other than 2 releases and usual Mangagamer 2 weeks update, this week we also had some interesting news from fan translation one, especially from dergonu and arcadeotic here. JAST was once again as usual ie no update from them at all. Although this week Mangagamer was did less update compared to 2 weeks ago, they cover very important VN this week and it was quite interesting (Also in regard of 6 announcements from them). For Sekai, the progress was same as last week, but for this week we didn't had any significant update from Maitetsu. So, overall I think compared to last week, this week actually had some quite dynamic ie more update and more interesting release. Sekai Project The least interesting segment would be Sekai Project, so I'll write my comment on it first. Darekoi and Memory Dogma was had some nice update, while Maitetsu somehow managed to get even more slowed down with the progress at 0.02%. As for WEE, congratulations for reaching three quarter of the translation progress or to be exact it was already at 78.20%. Well, I think I'm the same as Decay, waiting until episode 3 release and hopefully they managed to release WEE this year. About release planning for Just Desert, I'd just read the news about the release plan and Sekai said they will released it on July 11th. What made it interesting is that they'll release it in 3 language (Indonesian, English, and Japan). Unlike back at Aokana 5 language translation promise, this time it was actually sensible promise. English should be obvious why if you want to asking the reason, and as for Indonesian since this is Indonesian VN normally they should release it in Indonesian language of course. For Japan, I kind of doubt if they could did that though but maybe they could do it if they did some extra effort imo. I think it would be interesting for sure that Sekai will publish Indonesian language VN, and to me at least I could read it in 2 of 3 language for Just Desert (English and Indonesian). Might as well comment on this later, since this VN was from my country and I think I should see how good it is. Fan Translation First of all, for AstralAir this week it was at 77.16% right now and looks like it was picked up after slow update from previous weeks. For arcadeotic project (Bishoujo Mangekyou), right now we had 7 out of 8 script translated (Or around 83%) and for editing it was at 9.2%. Arcadeotic promise that he'll finished this in June, which remind me that Nosebleed will released rough patch for Miu's route (Dracu Riot) around June (He promised back in April that he'll need 2 months for the first rough patch). Well, let's see it later and coincidentally both translation project was involving vampire (Coincidence maybe). For dergonu project, congratulations for reestablishing the project and from now on I will call it Tsui Yuri. Anyway, as of now Tsui Yuri progress was at around 13% or so. Oh, and finally this project was added to VNTS. Congratulations for that too, dergonu. For more interesting news we had 2 new moege translation project sort of established. First about Hanasaki, I think the premise was about the club for the people with regret. Other than the premise, I'd only knew that this VN had quite good score at VNDB (Average at 8.09 and Bayesian at 7.60 as of now) and this is 2nd Saga Planet VN after Nijima Yuu left the company. Speaking about Niijima Yuu, his work Majo Koi Nikki also got translation project. As of now there's still no progress, but they already established the translation team as Luna Translations. Interestingly, apparently both of those 2 games only said prologue for first route instead of common route (Hanasaki only said prologue before character route by the way, and Majokoi had prologue line count one third of total line (11,000 out of 39,000 to be exact)) in the translation project. And for now I think I'll keep the eye on for both of the project (Of course if both of the project give update I'll inform it). Mangagamer First of all, I think people already knew that Fatamorgana was released today. I think I'll said enough in the beginning so I'll not repeat it here. And as for usual update this week we didn't had Imopara 2 update and Kuroinu at 63% (Before forgot, we also had Evangile W update at 22%). For Pygmalion and Da Capo 3, both of those were almost finished (Pygmalion was at 97%, while Da Capo 3 was at 92.5% and editing at 87.5%). And Bokuten was finally fully translated. I think the progress was indeed very good, although Da Capo 3 progress here was slightly slow down though. For Bokuten once again I'd only knew that the angel there was forming a band, both of Natsuhiko and Watase seiyuu (Root Double MC in case you forget about them) was voicing side characters here, and according to tyrosyn the H-Scenes was quite important compared to previous Overdrives games. Well, according too the progress at least we could be sure that Bokuten will be released this year. I think that's all for my VNTS Review this week. See you next week. PS - Apparently there will be many interesting announcement next Saturday morning. Even if the announcement was not interesting, I'll try to write my thought about it here. PPS - I'd forgot to report this, but as of now for Libra translation they managed to translate 20% of Mari's route. I'll also keep an eye on Libra progress too.
  3. If I must said it objectively, yes it is the good game (As of now, according to VNDB average score was at 7.84 and Bayesian score was at 7.77 (Lucky number)) although of course it's depend on each people. And maybe more if the people who play this game like horror so much.
  4. Oh, and to @Deep Blue I'm apologized if I might jinx it, but about Himawari I think if Frontwing decided to take the matter by themselves I'm not surprised and might be possible. Well, they announced Sharin localization, Corona Blossom English release first, and will release their own version of Huniepop on Steam. About Frontwing, I think hasty release of Chiru Chiru (koestl was mad about this obviously iirc) game was mostly Frontwing decision instead of Sekai, and I think Himawari release delay mostly was Frontwing fault instead of Mangagamer. Note that this is only speculation of mine, so don't take it as the truth, and I'm also waiting for Himawari of course. And by the way if some of you want to know Bokuten translation status, it was 100% translated as of now.
  5. So Mangagamer now had 6 announcement instead of 2? Interesting and let's see it what Mangagamer offer next week at 9 AM (Indonesian time obviously), and also for Sekai too. But I think I'm also not surprised if Mangagamer only announced something like hard copy though in one of their 5 announcements (The reason I said 5 because there is one announcement that said they will got new partner).
  6. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you enjoy yourself here (Well, it's cliche I knew). About your project, good luck and hope it'll be good (Although I couldn't comment about it as of now anyway). I think the first process for your VN that you should post your idea here so we could give some feedback. Oh, and you could post it in Original VN Projects section later. For last word, also hope that you had good time here and don't hesitate to asking help from us if you need it.
  7. My comment? Looks like Frontwing indeed quite ambitious to really get into western market. For the game itself, well maybe I'd already said this several time but I think Kajitsu should be enough, and here apparently Frontwing kind of want to repeat Muv Luv franchise by making side stories (Muv Luv was had much side stories from Alternative). Although I'm not that interested, but I think this game should be good addition for Grisaia fans.
  8. So this month is gameplay, eh? Well, I think I'm voted for Aselia since we just got the sort of sequel Seinarukana back at April, so why we not play the prequel here. I'll made a comment to whichever game that win the vote.
  9. Charage, eh? Maybe it mean the VN that focused on the character or had route, so I think I'll recommended it based on my definition here. First, even though Root Double was full of sci-fi and the premise escape from danger, I'd recommended it because according to some review that I'd read it was had some focus on character (Beside it was good VN anyway). Second, since Decay recommended Little Busters, how about the other KEY games (Kanon, Air, Clannad, and Rewrite) here? Also how about Dracu Riot too, even though it's only 90% translated as of now (Of course you could pick it later). And for the last, how about VN for every beginner Katawa Shoujo here. I think that's all for my recommendation, and hopefully it could help you to find your next charage.
  10. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and good luck with your project there. Although personally I'm not much interested in your VN, but still I wish your goal to bring the VN to the PC was successful.
  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you had fun here. As for Fate, I think this franchise was quite had big following and it's still one of best VN according to many people here and outside. Although of course there was also person who think Fate was overrated. And speaking about Fate, you may as well had a nice chat with mod @Zenophilious here who also Fate fan (Especially Saber here). As for VN recommendation, mod Kaguya already suggested good one, although if you ask me for recommendation maybe Steins Gate and Tokyo Babel should be your next VN here. Anyway once again hope you had fun here and enjoy yourself here. PS -By the way, if you knew Attack on Titan anime, the inspiration behind it was from Muv Luv Alternative according to some article.
  12. I think as of now no one translating the narration, only interface translation that was available as of now. Hopefully someone will be able to fully translated GOLD narration, because according to CeruleanGamer here the GOLD gameplay was improvement from original and I also want more people play Eiyuu Senki and the GOLD version too, so of course we need the game (GOLD) translated to English in the first place.
  13. Finishing Rio's route, and I think compared to Michika's route it was much more better. The drama was not usual jealousy (Well, although there is though), but more like Rio was too shy to let everyone knew that she and MC are lover. As for Rio, she was quite reliable to handling her sisters problem, quite selfless at that (She need to delay her date with MC several time) and she was quite tsundere, also she was quite couldn't take the joke. For MC here, I think he was quite usual clueless one, but he was more reasonable here compared to back at Michika route. Also MC here like to tease Rio in regard of pubic hair (And still pervert), causing Rio to mad at her Aniki (Oh, Rio called MC Aniki). For her scenes, it was involving XXXjob (Handjob and footjob were the example) and Rio's seiyuu was quite experienced. The name was Ogura Yui and her role was Himiko in Eiyuu Senki, Eika in Ikikoi, Yui in Flyable Heart, Maple in Nekopara, and Kagami in Subahibi. Anyone, once again as of now I think the best route in Imopara would be Rio's route for now. As of now, for next route I'll play Aya's route. I'll try to write my comment about Aya's route here later. I think I'll not play harem route though. PS - Oh, by the way I kind of a bit surprised when Rio called MC by his default name (Souichirou), because usually all of imouto only called MC by the variation of the word that mean older brother.
  14. I think will not give up my own Indonesian language skill, although if I given a chance to master another language, my first choice would be Japan (As long as I didn't need to sacrifice my Indonesian language skill). But I think I'm not really need this as of now, although mastering another language sounds nice though.
  15. Interesting request, although to be honest I didn't know too much of sappy tolerance for each people (Or in better word cheesy tolerance). But I think Noble Works and Dracu Riot should do well for your next VN (Also if you could live with untranslated, Dracu Riot still had 10% left untranslated, but I think in near future there will be complete translation patch). Also I'd recommended ToHeart 2 if you look forward to more standard romance. Oh, and I'd also recommended Konosora and Koi Resort here too. Hope my recommendation help.
  16. Not really, although of course I'm dislike it if I got the sour one. So my answer here would be false. Next person would be very fanatic fan of Twilight, so much you'll spam very rude word (You know what I mean) on some forum when some user there mentioned 'Twilight suck' or something like that.
  17. @nos4r2 There was 6 routes, all of those 5 and finally if you said there's another route, yes it is. The last route that wasn't mentioned here would be Katima's route. And I think Katima's route was the same as Naya and Ruputna in term of story, side story one.
  18. Welcome to Fuwanovel and hope you had fun here. As for recommendation, well there's a lot if you ask me. But for starter I think the video below should help you. As for new VN release, I think Dracu Riot, Root Double, Seinarukana, Tokyo Babel, and ToHeart 2 was good choice. Also Koichoco and Princess Evangile. Oh, actually there is another VN Recommendation thread here. And the recommendation in the video and the thread may overlap though. Hope all of those help. PS - I would very heavily warn you that you better not asking where to download VN next time. Fuwanovel may used to host torrent, but right now it's no longer host it and I think you better search it for yourself instead of asking us here since it's forbidden to add any VN Download link in here right now.
  19. Oh, welcome to the Fuwanovel and hope you enjoy your stay here. Your avatar was kind of unique if you ask me. Anyway, for recommendation i think all of the user already recommended the good one and for sure you'll already played Katawa Shoujo (If not just treat it as recommendation from mine), but hey might as well recommended some here. The first recommendations would be Eien no Aselia and Seinarukana. Seinarukana just released in English recently, and the gameplay was quite good. But for the prequel, Eien no Aselia also good although the gameplay not as refined as Seinarukana. Oh, for the tone Seinarukana was lighter while Aselia was more darker. Well, either way both of those were good VN with gameplay. For my next recommendations, how about I/O and Root Double. I/O was quite underrated and Root Double was just released recently. Both of those had setting in the future, I/O was more like cyberpunk while Root Double premise was some people stuck on exploded nuclear laboratory. Both of VN was also good and had same director, Nakazawa Takumi. Other than those 4 I'd also recommended ToHeart 2 for light story, Eiyuu Senki if you want more gameplay VN from me, and since nobody recommended it yet how about the rank 1 and 2 VN at VNDB right now (Muv Luv Alternative and Steins Gate respectively). Oh, and Dangan Ronpa 1 and 2 also good too. I'd also recommended Konosora and Koi Resort here if you interested with more light hearted story. Hopefully my recommendation here will help you to choose your next VN.
  20. Good luck with the project, although the first step should be gather some staff though. For the VN, the premise was quite unusual to said the least (Although in regard of bride poll thing I could made a joke about politic here though). And hopefully you'll be able to finish this, but don't push yourself too much, okay.
  21. @wyldstrykr About pyramid in Chapter 3, I think it'll be accessible on Ruputna's route only. I guess that because there's a ruin in Chapter 2 that said 'Former Aigias Castle' and Animesuki user said that it was only accessible at Katima route. For your recent question, I didn't quite know yet. In regard of all rounder, I think it's possible to beat the game without using one on the first try. But if you tried that, I think it'll be affected your rank since the guide that I had suggest you better use all rounder in some map for high rank ie quick performance. Although if you didn't care about rank you may try though.
  22. Since we had Root Double release, how about 'Memento Mori' here and hopefully I'm not the only one think that this OST resemble Karma from Ever17. And another OST that I'd like since back when GundamAce review Root Doble back in 2012, 'The Truth is Revealed' Hope you enjoy the OST from Root Double even though I'd only post 2 here.
  23. Visual Novel Translation Status (05/07/2016) This time I'd must admit that I'd had hard time to find fitting title for this week, so since there's a VN with post war setting and another VN with Yoake (Meaning Dawn in Japan) word release, I'd decided to use poetic word 'Dawn After the War'. Anyway, even though I made poetic title for this week VNTS Review, actually the inspiration title for this week kinda mediocre. For Yoake one, actually it was some short dark yuri nukige which according to Decay the size was at 9 GB, which to said the size was too big (Although maybe SakuSaku from same year (2014) release was also at 9 GB for the game file though, but at least it's justified for quite beautiful art). The rating at VNDB this time was quite high (Average at 8.01 and Bayesian at 7.36, although the voter might had particular taste though). Well, I guess this VN would be good for dark yuri nukige fan though. For post war VN, actually it was inspired from the anime which some people called 'K-On on Military' just because the girl design was cute. Anyway, for some who curious here's MAL page for the anime itself (So Ra No Wo To), and I would suggest instead of searching PSP Emulator or something like that, just watch the anime should be enough (Although I didn't knew if there is new content on the translated VN itself though). For the 3rd release, didn't knew much other than it as from same creator as Tokyo School Life. Okay, after commenting the release for this week (Which compared to April when we got many big release was quite bland), this week was also quite plain to be honest ie not much happening other than some progress. After JAST released Seinarukana (And Steam version for later months), as expected there's not much progress from them. For Mangagamer, as usual we must wait for another week here and we had one certain news that Mangagamer will release The House of Fata Morgana next week. I'd knew that this VN had some people who like the art, hope it'll satisfied the people who like gothic art and unusual character design though. Also I'd heard that the story was also had horror element here. Since Tay also made a remark about ChuSinGura Kickstarter failure, might as well report it that right now they managed 9,368 out of 160,000 (I'll need to write the number for the reminder here just in case it'll be change next week). Speaking about Kickstarter, actually it was from last week but I'd forgot to report that Libra managed to had the common route 100% translated and it mean that they'll move to heroine's route (I don't know if they'll deliver the release for either Halloween or November though). One last thing, because I'd also forgot to mention Frontwing will release Corona Blossom for English speaker first last week, my comment here it would be interesting I guess, although for now I'd only knew that the people behind design character was also responsible for Grisaia character design and their own 'Hunie Pop' girl thing. Sekai Project The only legal company which had the progress this week. Anyway, Maitetsu this week was moving slowly by 0.85%, WEE Episode 3 touched 70% (71.54% to be exact), Darekoi at 64.24%, and Memory Dogma at 13.15%. Well, not much other than Maitetsu and WEE was had some nice progress here (Although Maitetsu was slowing down). Although for Memory Dogma and Darekoi I didn't follow them much though, but nice progress I suppose. And one more thing, they didn't show the progress for Tenshin Rahman and Chrono Clock this week. Fan Translation First of all, I'm sorry to said this but Dergonu was decided to stall his project because his real life circumstance. Hopefully he'll be able to get through his circumstance and he'll be able to translating it just like what he want in the future after once again he finished his circumstance. Anyway, let's move to the update. For Kiminozo we had Akane route transalted. Actually, from some source that I'd read Muv Luv was supposed to be spin off for Kiminozo. Who knew that Muv Luv franchise which grew bigger into Cash Cow Franchise for age was started from Kiminozo in the first place. Anyway, for more history lesson Kiminozo also had dubbed and the anime was get the Western name 'Rumbling Heart'. I'd heard that Kiminozo had some sort of depressive ending and VNDB categorize it as Utsuge. This might be good, although if you want very happy ending don't play this game. Astral Air, well after one week update absence they managed to had another update this week at 76.06%. For SakuSaku, this week the TLC was at 100%, although the release might be still not very soon though but hopefully this year. For the last update, congratulations for big jump for translating Izumi route at Clover's Day (12% to 50%), ittaku and thanks for your effort. Other than nice progress, I think not much comment needed for now. I think that's all for this week VNTS Review.
  24. By the way welcome to Fuwanovel, @kilicool64. Actually I'd been following your head (GundamAce or ShadowBlackMage) in gamefaqs at Infinity Discussion Series on Ever17 PC page. And from the moment I'd read Root Double review from GundamAce back at 2012, I knew that I must follow his and your group, Lemnisca Translation for Root Double translation progress. And since technically I'm Fuwanovel member, I'm quite disagree that some of the Gamefaqs poster told us that Fuwanovel user reaction thinking the game was bad. In fact I think I also surprised that the reaction for this game was not so good, since personally I think this game had nany potential. And by the way, I think this game was Nakazawa answer to 999. For Decay cliche thing, I'm fine with that so no problem here. Well, if Decay didn't read killicool spoiler, to each of their own I guess.
  25. Although it'll be released next week, I'd found it quite interesting that EGS was scored this game quite highly compared to VNDB (Although if we ignored Bayesian rating it was almost the same though). Here's the EGS page for the proof. The score was at 90 with 117 vote, although if I want to play it later or not in the future would be another matter here. Well, if I could get past the art style though.
