After getting top50 on this map (I stalked the tp scores of some other swedish guy), I updated tp, and... I'm now top 10k on tp. Yayy for high aim and speed scores.

My favorite type is Kuutsundere/classic tsundere, probably. Tsugumi from Ever17 is my go-to example for this kind of development. Otherwise, I like Kuuderes (hnng Hoshimemo!Isuzu). Modern tsunderes hold significantly less appeal to me, and I prefer heroines to not get physical for tsun moments since that is honestly just lame (and I would hit the girl back). Kuuderes are cute because of the moeness of shyness, plus they are generally introverted and thus match my irl personality. Tsunderes similarly have a barrier of sorts to get over, which makes things interesting. I also like osananajimis a lot, especially forgotten childhood friends. Prolly partly caused by my own childhood memories, but also has the "revelation" factor of realizing the earlier connection.

There are a few thigns you can change to improve sound quality in the settings. You probably also want to change renderers, as the default one causes weird thigns at the characters' outlines sometimes. Hmm, lemme pull up desmume... options > sound, change to synchronous mode and use synch method Z or P (I have P). Use cosine interpolation as well. options > 3d settings, renderer to OpenGL

F/ha is not fully translated, project has been stalled at like 97% or something for ages, with progress in the tenths of percents... The % once moved backwards.

Interestingly, Moogy is actually listed as the editor for the g-senjou tl project (I agree that the tl job is very good). I just felt like pointing that out

When I said "second part" I mean the second pattern, so the x xxx x x xxx x x xxx rhythm stuff (short section but I keep failing there if I don't singletap). Immediately after that part I start alternating again lol. I can't really hit all of the most hardcore starjumps yet, but ive gotten to ~85% of the end. About the same place where lewy's getting to, actually... I blame my mouse. Post edited over 9000 times. Also it seems I can do that section alternating now lolo, however a more recent example is my #11 on this map (also note lewycool at #44 kekekekekekekeke), where the doublets were really hard to hit accurately if I alternated.

I nearly only alternate when I play. However, on very rare occasions I go to singletap + alternate for streams, because the timing is almost made for it somehow. I get a minor accuracy boost on some slow songs, and I can pass the second part of Remote Control insane which really messes with me otherwise.

I'll recommend 999: nine pers... I can never remember the goddamn order of the persons doors and hours... - it's written by one of the guys who did ever17 and seems to be what you look for. However, it is DS game and must thus be emulated or played on a NDS. Emulation does work fine though, if you have a decent computer. Other than that, Saya no Uta and Swan Song come to mind as fairly unique and not so slice-of-life, if dark as fuck. it's too bad I can't recommend Symphonic Rain since it's slice of life, even though it has an awesome plot twist and stuff

I actually almost never used no-fail, but that's more me being silly than anything else as it causes you to brickwall on some extra hard parts on maps often.

Ill say this: to improve in any aspect, play maps that are just a little bit too hard for you. If you can't beat it, switch maps, repeat. You'll get progressively better. All in all just play a lot of different maps - for where to get them, the newer beatmap packs are usually at least decent. Getting S ranks on maps is pleasant and stuff, but is more consistency training. You can do that a bit too, and it's fun I guess~ Oh and find a rival to duel with in multiplayer ~damn it ill get oboetete soon you bastard you lewy~

I'm pretty interested in this. About contributing, I'm unreliable so I would probably write half a piece and then abandon it (or ditch it when I realize I couldn't back up my bold statements in the first half... qq)
