Didn't have a TV while I was growing up. When I first got to see a disney movie, I was already around 15- Never liked any, though. I always had the impresion those movies are geared towards children, I can't really enjoy that.

I really dislike moeges, but that's about it. I love tragedies and mystery, but there aren't many of those- Well, I just kinda read everything. By now, I'm not even reading the summary, I just check it quickly to see if it's a nukige (if it is, I don't play it) take the next name ordered alphabetically in VNDB and search for a download of it.

No, you're not. I was facepalming all the way through your conversation with nosebleed there. Me, personally- I don't mind rape or whatever. Kinda dislike guro, depending on how hardcore it is. Really dislike scat but that's about it. Don't mind non-canon characters as well. I'm also a fan of NTR just because I love seeing the protags's face after he gets NTR'd. Yep, I really hate tsunderes. To the point where I've dropped VNs because a particular one was way too annoying, even though I only read VNs for the plot. Give me as many crazy yanderes, blind cult leaders, scheming bastards or whatever, I'll most likely enjoy them. I can't stand tsunderes, though.

Oh yeah, that girl! Pretty sure she was a big part of it. I can't stand abusive people other than me. Besides that, I'm a really big mystery fan. I've read over 300 mystery books so far, which is even slightly higher than the amount of VNs I played (just to put it in perspective, VNs are pretty much the only thing I do for entertainment nowdays. Well, that and fuwa) The tricks and stuff used weren't anything new or innovative, so since I disliked the characters I just ended up disliking the whole thing. Still higher than most anime I watched in terms of entertainment value, but that's just because I'm a fan of the setting and genre.

I really love mystery and the setting was lovely as well, I really like that type of thing. For some I just disliked the show, though- Don't really remember why, since it was some years ago.

The trailer doesn't strike me as particularly good- it just shows the heroines and boobs. Not expecting much, maybe it'll be nice, though. I'll most likely try it out, but my expectations are low. Ironically enough, I tend to rate VNs made in the west (well, serious ones) highly.

Finished the last episode of Black Bullet. Well, that was to be expected. I'm liking where the series is going, it'd be awesome if Satomi eventually ended up like Kagetane- we all know it's not going to happen, though. A pity.

It was in fact completely unrelated, I just said that the logic behind "I said thanks, thus my phrase is polite" is kinda messed up. Just small talk~ You can gather translators from that thread, but you don't have to. It's supposed to make finding translators easier, not to be the only way to do it. Making a thread like this is fine as well, even though it's not optimal. Regardless of what you or me think a translator will do, anyone is welcome to try and find one. Making a thread to convince people is fine, it doesn't go against our guidelines and therefore is legit.

As a matter of fact, this could be the right section. Downloads and Requests is more geared towards translations that already exist or whatever else- if he's trying to convince translators to start a project, this is just fine. The section description is "Talk about visual novel fan translations here" and convincing people to start one doesn't seem too far-fetched from that. There may be some dissonance on this, though. Asking for for a fan tl is totally fine. It doesn't go against our guidelines to try and convince members to start a translation, people should just be aware that fuwanovel itself is not a tl group. About posting the same thing on multiple forums, well, I just saw a bunch of people redirecting the guy to a lot of different places. They said that "this is not the right section" so he posted elsewhere- I didn't went over this in great detail, though. Just to remind you that it isn't a sin to be a newcomer, I often don't read all of the guidelines of a site I go to to ask one single thing. Also (and completely unrelated) "please" doesn't make a phrase polite. I'm fairly sure if I went to someone and said "stop being an annoying douchebag, please" they'd have the same reaction as if I said it without the "please"~

The stars just serve to make the badge pretty. Every staff member has two, regardless of who he is. Personally, I think 3 or 1 would be nicer, but~ Well, for suggestions, you can check out my 50 VNs list. You seem to like knight-y and honorable types (uah, totally not my thing. Being treated like a princess if fine, but I want my heroines to at least be amoral). I think you may enjoy Rose Guns Days. Maybe I/O, maybe Kara no Shoujo. It's hard to say- if you told what you like in those heroines, this would be so much easier.
