  1. Fucking assholes, they deserve death.
  2. It depends, but usually (and when I say usually I mean primarily key, since key is pretty much the major offender) the side routes are suppose to give different perspectives on the overall narrative, while being their own story. A good "true" end should draw upon different elements from the different routes. When there is a "true" ending it usually means that the "romance" aspect plays second mugufin to a much larger conflict. As for making the other routes "useless", I just think of it like the many world interpretation theory, as in they all happen and all exist simultaneously...... but yeah, they are just stories so you shouldn't over think it that much. True endings in the grand scheme of all visual novel land are not that particularly common, it is usually an aspect of a a particularly high-budget work. Typically in visual novels with true endings they lock the final ending off until you read all of the required routes. True endings can vary greatly in tone.
  3. I havn't read Tokyo Babel, but Ayakashibito is a great visual novel.
  4. So, its a standard generational gap thing. Ah it's kinda reassuring that no matter which subgroup of people you analyze, they all act exactly the same.
  5. I wonder about that, my first experiences with anime were pretty dicey. Half of the shows that I watched blew my mind, but the other half nearly made me stop watching anime all-together.
  6. I'm still puzzled by why people are soo pessimistic on upcoming anime nowadays. Granted I have only been watching new anime for the past 2-3 years, but I have consistently found at the very least four to five shows per season that I actively enjoy.
  7. From my brief search on the net there seems to be no one translating this vn. The chances of this title being translated in the future is pretty slim considering no other titles of Ensemble have been translated offically or unoffically.
  8. Hahahhaahahahahha fucking no, have you seen that message from CFK "apologizing" for the issues the current build seems to be having? I'm all for the PM series localization, even if it isn't the most polished release, but that was fucking pathetic. How much you want to bet that PR message was machine translated?
  9. Yeah, I guess it was totally impossible to mention that in advance or offer that already in the KS campaign... *Sudden urge to strangle someone* Hahah, you know I wonder how much of this is on purpose and how much is due to incompetence. I'm still really salty over their recent sale on the Fault Milestone BUNDLE, they kept spamming my facebook wall with claims that it was the complete edition! Something that is impossible considering there are at least two more titles in the series being developed. At the time I just assumed it was a case of the intern not giving two shits about the company product, but now I wonder if Sekai is actively pursuing misleading marketing as a way to boost sales.
  10. There are next to no ps4 exclusives that are JRPGs and have romance mechanics, if anything that is more of a vita thing and those that are available are usually ports of vita games that tack on another ten bucks to the ps4 version's price tag. Still, there are some great exclusive games in other categories. - Bloodborne is probably in my top five favorite games of all time, especially with the dlc. - Until Dawn is pretty snazy if you like horror movies with great graphics and pretty well done choice mechanics.
  11. Perhaps the few Rance games that are translated, specifically Sengoku Rance. In Sengoku Rance you lead armies to conquer the various territories of a fictional feudal Japan and along the way you encounter various colorful personalities and many h-scenes. Fair warning the gameplay is brutal, you may want to play with a walkthrough open next to you.
  12. God knows, the translation qualities for official localization are often harder to gage than fan patches since the team behind the translation project is not always known to the public. Typically, in my limited experience, Sekai project is solid in the translation department compared to Jast and Mangagamer.
  13. I think I have seen some upcoming visual novels advertise occulus rift support, but I don't really care about the VR trend so I never dug too deep into the articles.
  14. Picked up the console version of Xcom2 and I'm disturbed by how well my first play-through is going.
  15. Mitchhamilton for someone who claims to hate ntr, I find it odd how you obsess over it. I can't even muster the enthusiasm to make a thread about something I passionately enjoy, let alone hate (cough) snuff/vore/bodyalterations/coprophagia (cough). Reminds me of my early highschool days in which I talked shit about the sims constantly, but secretly played for hours guiding my character to knock up everyone in the neighborhood..... huh I guess the me of yesteryear was really into netori. Well, psychiatric evaluations of myself aside I think only the second one would be considered ntr. Ntr is (apparently) all about getting a high off the feelings of jealously and dark emotional shit you get when you see another man knocking up your wifu, in the first title the roles are reversed, so I suppose the first title would be whatever reversed ntr is called. I think the issue of consent is simply a modifier and not enough to separate it from the ntr category.
  16. To be honest I barely noticed your username to start with, you have pretty much always been "that dude that constantly uses Miles Edgeworth as his avatar pic" to me.
  17. Well the first thing I do, when setting up my waifu of a selected work, is to identify the "main" heroine and toss her off my waifu shelf. I'm not entirely sure why (it might be racisim), but there is just something that always pisses me off about the main heroine. Be it her watered down generic personality or the way she immediately becomes a main character. Next I identify who has the strongest sense of individuality, the gals that can get shit done by themselves and back their words with action, or at the very least not care what the world thinks of them.
  18. Wooooo! I'm not the only one after all!
  19. BUT! but! No matter how much bleach I drink I still have the images in my mind! Ima going to try nailpolish removal next.
  20. I learned about a new fetish today, it's called coprophagia........ I REALY want someone to kill me now, please
  21. I had a feeling that might have something to do with it, reminds me of a joke that one of my coworkers told me that completely flew over my head. He asked me how to run the new Doom on windows 3.0 .
  22. Well I'll be the first transgender nun on a pilgrimage to convert ISIS, shame it dosn't seem to want to work on windows 7 (at lest for me). How much you want to bet that this version has better English than the upcoming release?
  23. It's not for everyone, if you played through an entire case (even if it was the first one ever) and felt absolutely nothing.... don't bother. You needn't torture yourself over something that just isn't for you.
  24. Fuck yeah, I love a good raising sim and I absolutely adore the few older Japanese games I have been able to play. Shame about the translation though, but as long as I can comprehend what is going on I'll take what I can get. Well with the garbage that gets through the greenlight process steam is pretty much a dumping ground period.
