  1. Of course, but it was a long time ago and after a quick bump of around 8k it went back to its sluggish self so you can't say it made a key difference. A bit disappointed they didn't think of any new stretch goals, looks like FW didn't expect to get this far.
  2. Second stretch goal is smashed with 36 hours still remaining. LRG's mail campaign about the physical vita-version+successful Thunderclap timely combined with the ending spurt worked wonders for their KS.
  3. By the way, from your earlier comments I got the impression that you guys managed to bring back the mentions of real alcohol (with junichi some scenes really do look somewhat silly), was it one of the changes you mentioned on MG blog that GO persuaded you to keep in the end?
  4. Yeah, let's just blame a petty thieving nature of some people on PQube who never even had any part in the steam release of the first game. Classy and self-explanatory.
  5. ...what? We have a new game by Key literally on the same page and Frontwing has released at least 4 completely original novels during the last two years.
  6. Lol. Pretty much irrelevant on its scope. It's like you can't. Not really, as you can see, at least not from the get go and not as widespread as pc it always makes. What's done is done, of course, and there's not much point to starting another holy war, but I really see no reason to be happy about it in the big scheme of things even for the most cynical of pirates: pc gets even worse rep, great guys at PQube get less money, 5pb's less popular games like Anonymous;Code become even less likely to be localized. Hopefully enough people already bought it for ps4 and vita either way.
  7. Because it will inevitably lead to the logical loss of the initial sales. Spacing out releases is pretty much the common sense plus they probably didn't want to lose console sales from all the PC piracy. A completely justified concern, as you've just proven, and don't give me that silliness about some kind of "revenge", most would pirate day 1 either way. Now they at least had a good starting position for several weeks and the patch also isn't that widespread yet. Their only mistake was releasing Japanese pc version too early.
  8. This thread almost gave me cancer, gosh. It's pretty obvious that they gave to go through quite a few organizational issues before releasing it on steam by themselves and they have only just released the first game there. Noone would want to get the sequel out of the gate that fast. But I would laugh if after seeing this they made PC an extremely low priority. Also the link is still there, I'd vote for banning people for the straight pirate links.
  9. That's tragic, to say the least, pity it's hard to sue people.
  10. According to everyone it varies from good to great.
  11. Which is no indication of anything when it comes to Steam and I meant Steam there. Oh well, I just don't really like the idea and doubt it will let them sell that much more.
  12. Oh boy, I have no doubts they will charge quite a lot more for this than shame should allow.
  13. It long does, people are playing "dumps" of older vita games for a while now, though I'm not sure that thing on 3.60 firmware is called HENkaku. The only way to keep your game safe is to lock it on the firmware higher than 3.60 so the practice is completely justified in this case.
  14. As it should, we wouldn't want foolish pirates to undermine the sales, would we.
  15. Have never seen any point in playing VNs on the big screen, there can be no real difference in overall graphics and performance plus vita-version is considerably cheaper. Yeah, my choice is clear. Though if you were going to play it on PSTV anyway then it's pretty much up to whether you want to pay some more for the ps4's upped resolution.
  16. Let's all take a moment to appreciate the fact that the game is now out in Europe. Great. Also worth noting how Steiner (one of the biggest SciADV fans in the west and a part of the first SG translation team) mentioned that 5pb's in-house translation turned out quite well and all worries were for naught.
  17. There's Net High that's possibly pretty good from the rare english reviews.
  18. Yay, my choice won, I almost feel satisfied for some weird reason.
  19. Ah, right, then your rant is not even that important, just a really small convinience matter, not even as big as mosaics. Quite curious how people would attack companies and call them the second coming of the early SP even because of things like that, I should correct my post about mosaics.
  20. But is heavily implied and I can guarantee that 99% would read it exactly the way I did. Oh well, as for the digital copy, how would they even sell it without teaming up with MG or Nutaku (which is really hard and pointless when the project is not even funded), just create a whole new special distributive for backers? I simply doubt they saw much sense in that.
  21. Here, here. As a direct answer to the mosaic explanation you can't view it the other way even though your reddit post is off-topic altogether.
  22. There's no explanation here outside of "me no like, booo". It's also insane how some people can diminish all of the company's efforts just because of the extremely complex matter with mosaics.
  23. VNDB is a very questionable source for the game length, but from what I've heard, even though you'll need several different playthroughs to complete it, it'll probably take around 8-10 hours at max for the first run, hope Winterfury will correct us if needed. But yeah, for now my biggest gripe with this game is how it was sold for the relatively low budget price in Japan (around 4500 yen for both versions) but has somehow become a full-fledged fullprice release in the West. It's... pretty weird. Especially if for some reason you buy your VNs on PS4, then it becomes quite whooping 60$. I've already been unusually lavish that week and bought two games at the same time (World of FF and Yomawari) so RL will obviously have to wait for a good discount.
  24. Pretty sure SG 0 will be published on STEAM by 5pb themselves in about half a year, just like the first game.
  25. I don't really see why you should be. Every platform is important and Visual novels sell just as well on consoles.
