  1. Was going to read this in Japanese, but I'll hold off until the TL is out. Hype!
  2. *Wakes up to see a Nyuu Jene announcement* MG I fucking love you, you beautiful bastards.
  3. Well, I finished Nikuniku, and absolutely loved it. For the people wondering if it's more than just a simple guro nukige, it definitely is, and the true ending left me very satisfied. That being said, if you don't like guro, playing this will be a real chore, as a lot of the core story is basically built around it. The story aspect was what kept me glued to the game though. Although it's a very "simple" story, it's very effective, and I just needed to know what happens next the entire time. You will be confused as fuck for a large portion of the game, but that was half the fun in my opninon. (And everything is cleared up eventually, so it's intentional, obviously.) If you want a mind bending story with lots of yummy and twisted fetish scenes, you'll like this one.
  4. Euphoria has Natsuki, who is an older woman and a teacher. Also, I second the kono oozora ni, tsubasa o hirogete recommendation- Amane is great.
  5. Hey, welcome! Nice to meet you.
  6. Welcome, nice to meet you! Have a random Illya gif.
  7. Hey, welcome to the forum, nice to meet you.
  8. Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you
  9. It is indeed quite annoying and illogical. You usually want to read the blog post first, before getting to the comments. Starting at the comments by default is therefore a little strange.
  10. If you squint, you can almost see the picture.
  11. It's okay, you'll learn to love me soon enough. (One way or another.)
  12. Huh. Well, the last game I played was Shi ni Iku Kimi, Yakata ni Mebuku Zouo, which is where the maid is from. Though her being the protagonist, hmm... That would be pretty interesting. (Spoilers, obviously.)
  13. Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you
  14. Well Mangagamer, you gave us Maggot Baits, so do Nyuu Jene next and I'll literally worship you guys as a God, just saying.
  15. Still playing Nikuniku, and this game sure is longer than I expected. I am on my way to the true ending, and I think I'm at least getting close now. Still, either my reading speed is absolute snail mode, or this game is longer than 2-10 hours. (This is just the true ending. The game still has quite a few bad endings, a few other "good/ normal" endings and different scenes that you unlock depending on your choices in the true route.) I'm freaking in love with this game though. Hnnnng, so good. Like I already mentioned before, the art, the music, the atmosphere; everything is great. The whole "trapped in a mansion, only one way to get out" premise is so simple but effective. I can't stop reading. Mia's voice acting was a bit awkward during some points, but that really got better over time, and during H-scenes, she nails it. Also, the female guests voice acting makes up for it. The only annoyance is the repetition of certain aspects in the story. (Also, please, give the characters names for crying out loud! Superior man? Rotten man? Female guest?! ARGGH!) Still, although it does make the game a little bit repetitive at times, it doesn't make it boring, at least not in my opinion. Can't wait for the endings.
  16. There is a current TL project going on for the game, you can check that out here: Also, the current patch itself is not removed completely, if you simply want the restored scenes. You can find a link to it here on VNDB. (Just go to that and click "official website".)
  17. Also, don't forget that Navel games are quite strongly linked to Mangagamer. I don't know their current standing with them, seeing as a few titles have been removed off their site, but they still have at least 2 Navel games, meaning the title will be even less attractive to fan translators, simply because of the small chance that Mangagamer lashes out. (I was personally turned off the idea of working on a Sono Hana title for the same reason.) The chance is really small, but it is still an uncomfortable thought, knowing your hard work might end up being for nothing, should something happen. They have apperantly mentioned having an interest in the title in the past, though the cost of localizing the game was an issue at the time. (This being based of a post on VNDB, so I can't account for its credibility.)
  18. @Zenophilious He fucking did it! That is just so great...
  19. Yo! Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you! Hope to see you around.
  20. I didn't think we were at that stage in the relationship, where we tell others... Oh well, I still love you.
  21. Ah yeah, in that case, I recommend trying out Otoiro, it should be quite fitting.
  22. What exactly is it that you want? Do you want something with similar levels of drama, or is it simply the all-girls/ ojou-sama school feel to the story? SonoHanabira is indeed decently close, (yuri, an all-girls school, humor), but you won't find much of the dramatic side of Strawberry Panic, which is one of its key factors in my opinion. Princess Evangile does have a lot of ojou-sama characters, humor and a generally similar setting, (a closed off all-girls school) but 1. There is quite the lack of serious drama (though there is some) and 2. It has a male protagonist who is not a trap, so unlike otoboku there is no "yuri-ish" things going on with the romance. There is stuff like Otome ga Irodoru Koi no Essence, (they have like, a million games in the series,) where you play as a trap protagonist in a ojou-sama school, but none of them are translated as far as I know, so if you can't read Japanese, that's a bust. It might be a little easier to narrow down some recommendatinos if you say a bit more about exactly what you liked about those shows. (Was it the drama, was it simply the ojou-sama like school setting etc?)
  23. You don't have to watch the previous Love Live, but it's recommended. Basically, the people in the new show gets inspired by the previous group from the original. There is also a bunch of easter eggs and refrences, but you can understand it just fine without watching the main show. It might have a much weaker impact though, because of the fact that you don't know what happened in the original Love Live.

  25. Yes, I suppose if the word "religious" does indeed require you to follow a specific religion, then I don't qualify. I think all religions started at the same point, and because of that, "believe" in all of them, but follow none of them specifically. (Oh and yeah, I'll be next to Odin drinking mead! See you there!)
