More like Kara no Shoujo didn't earn them enough money. They don't release nukige all the time because they want to (Kouryuu has said that he prefers story based titles) but sadly Nukige are selling much better or at least they're much profitable as the cost of translating one is much cheaper. Sadly

The true ending for Kagetsu Tohya can be really hard to get and if you don't get it on the first try you'll have to erase your global.sav and redo the game from the beginning (though it's sometimes possible to get it by reloading an earlier save, depends if you have any save that has the correct "game slate" so you'll be able to set the flags.) So it definitely needs a walktrough. You could probably use this one and modify it a bit since it was made pre-translation.

These kind of stories tend to do pretty badly commercially in the first place. This is definitely the right kind of series to go crazy with artistically since it wouldn't been a hit no matter what they did with it.

What's wrong with having one anime that looks a little different? I'm glad that this is getting made because as much as I like moe art I want variety most of all. I want all kinds of art in the anime I watch.

I think the face thing might be intentional actually. I thought that it was rather neat anyway. I mean you don't really 'see' the faces of people who are far away anyway an as they come closer you notice more and more of their features.
