Did someone say recommendations? There's Key stuff which is slightly similar to KS, pretty much just slice of life and good at it: Clannad, Little Busters, Rewrite, Planetarian, Air, Kanon, with the first 2 being must-reads. Symphonic Rain is similar but not made by them, also a must-read. Ever17, Steins;Gate, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni are great if you like a mindfuck. Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative are the epic saga of visual novels, and Saya no Uta is sort of Lovecraftian.

I'm several hours into World End Economica and it's really good so far. I like the story and writing, the backgrounds are gorgeous and the sprites are nice and varied. Only problem is that the translation is pretty damn bad. Tons of typos everywhere and even something as silly as the Big Bull Cafe being called the Big Blue Cafe in a few instances, probably because whoever was translating those parts didn't even read the whole thing or missed the part where the name is explained, and just assumed that Buru is Blue, not Bull. Other than that, it's a great change of pace from the standard high school setting.

No problem whatsoever - anyone is free to put any non-best girl on their avatar.

Started and finished Lonely Yuri, which feels like Sono Hanabira without the h (Sono Anabira??) and started World End Economica that I got from Silvachief.

I've had this kind of idea for a lot of VNs I've played, but eventually I just realize that I'd rather read a new VN than reread one (even if it's really good).

Can't say I'm a big fan of that "H", but the rest sounds really cool. Can't wait! Even if I'm not best girl... /cries

I've finished One, and I have to stay it could have been so much more. The common route is great, but once you get onto any heroine's route the whole thing just takes a dip in quality. It pulls drama out of nowhere, there's usually barely any resolution to speak of and some of the routes are just odd and a little bit disturbing (Nagamori's and Shiina's). Nothing wrong with odd or disturbing, hell, Saya no Uta is one of my favourites, but it actually makes sense there.
