  1. Those new story chapters.... so fluffy.
  2. It's quite sad the movie itself is so obscure. A lot of anime fans will never be able to experience it.

  3. http://vndb.org/v1377 You should love this visual novel, as long as you don't mind older games. It's definately worth it, though.
  4. Hm, seems like my mouse is slowly dying. You've done well, mouse. I salute you.

  5. I'd rather get Galgun, than this. The 3D and modeling in AS is tragic. Old Illusion games like Schoolmate or Homemate had way better graphics and animations. It's clear, the game has been made to be fully compatible with PSVita, and PS3 is just an addition, since it retains full compatibility; yet, it still boogles me, as it's a game meant to run on PS3. It's prolly the most wasted console on the market. I haven't been playing that much as of late, mainly due to being quite busy with life, tho: Don't even ask.
  6. I use it most of the times. Current vn's have a lot of tweaking options, which makes setting up appropriate reading speeds easy. As long as apropriate adjustments can be made to match my prefered reading speed, it's fine. Otherwise I prefer to hit space or enter; I rarely use mouse in story-based vn's, unless it's some kind of a hybrid with game elements.
  7. I hope you'll have enough strength to carry on, both through your life and as the leader of Fuwanovel community. I wish you best of luck, Tay.
  8. World is clearly doomed if everyone believes in every single thing that goes up on the internet, especially on sites like Nyaa.
  9. Cheer up - every cloud's got a silver lining. Just imagine you're in some sort of a dojin, getting ready to take your revenge on Honoka; you'll feel much better straight away.
  10. So that's the SR I saw in friend activity; I thought you decided to do a single draw and got lucky instead. Honoka loves you, that's for sure.
  11. I'd rather recommend the excellent anime adaptation, than force people to go through the visual novel itself.
  12. And you do believe Herkz, knowing how much of a community-hating troll he is? Pleaseeeee. I can't even math; I actually need ten more loveca stones to do the draw, but I doubt to collect them before the promo ends.
  13. I'm here for the drama. Jokes aside, I was propably one of the first users around these forums, back when Aaeru had great plans and everything looked quite different; I don't know why I even registered back then; I propably felt it was some sort of a personal obligation towards community, Aaeru and to keep an eye on everything. Sadly, the forums had some issues later on and my previous account got wiped; not like it really matters, since I hanged out mostly on related IRC channels and only lurked around Fuwa. To be honest, it might be a nice place to hang out (ie waste time), but it does not prove that much of an actual purpose. A lot of things Aaeru wanted to do in time got overshadowed by the overall friendliness, where people grew complacent and forgot about everything that was truly important to the scene. I don't care that much about the actual community, since fans of my kind actually don't need people around - we focus solely on work and pull the strings from behind the scenes. What we do is irrelevant to whether community cares, or not. Our work is what truly keeps everything together and as long as we will continue working on vn's and translations, our world will continue to spin as it always used to. I think Tay will have to give people around something meaningful to do, so they won't just sit around in here wasting their time on useless discussions and arguments whether logo X is better than Y. There's a bunch of nice projects around, but it doesn't seem they get enough attention, even from the community itself. Perhaps this should change? There's quite a lot of things to work on; it should prove to occupy people, at least for a while.
  14. To be honest, I don't see much of a reason to release Key games, nor am I a fan of them anymore, either. Key used to be a pivotal studio in terms of visual novel development, back in the days when utsuge based vn's were high on rise, but nowadays they became rather stagnant in terms of content; I doubt they will come up with something new and fresh anytime soon, while others are moving forward. It's definately easier to publish older, highly regarded games but in my opinion Sekai Project should move forward. leaving the old stuff behind and trying to focus on the present and future should be their major concern. There's a lot of great studios and titles, that are often left forgotten or overshadowed by those cheap charage and moege games, mass-produced by all the current studios. I don't mind them, but since they often lack even any sort of a solid story, instead simply focusing on character quirks, there's a lot left to be desired. Reading great, interesting and highly entertaining stories is my main objective in case of visual novels.
  15. RT @RocketNews24En: Japanese farmer uses terrifying scarecrow, traumatizes children http://t.co/vDNgnIqhne

  16. It might actually hint that Key itself is partially involved with the survey, since it's not some kind of a mystery that SP has certainly acquired contacts with them via all their previous work, including the 15th Anniversary Letter project. Key might be currently waiting for the results to decide, whether it's worth to give it a shot and work alongside SP to publish their games overseas. Results aside, it's already clear SP puts a lot of effort into their work and tries to remain as transparent, as possible. In my eyes, their close relationship with the community and focus on crowdfunding is already showing it's benefits.
  17. Please send all of your unwanted cards to me~ ...like if that would only be possible.
  18. To keep it short, here's the deal: Sekai Project made another survey and is currently asking people about their consumer preferences, including retail stores, favourite studios, and individual games. Furthermore, they prepared a list of Key's titles, asking which of the them people would be interested to see translated and localised. It's clear that Sekai Project has the means to bring Key's works to overseas fans, mostly through crowdfunding, more over since they were involved with the 15th Key Anniversary Letter and both Key and Visual Arts already proven to be interested as well. SURVEY I guess it's great news for everyone, especially fans of Key & Visual Arts. Be sure to fill in all the answers honestly and spread the news, if possible. This might prove to be the beggining of something great - if a respectable studio like Key will find out there's a viable market outside Japan, and there's a reasonable way to support the localisation projects, other studios might follow as well.
  19. Impaling was a popular method of execution in the East/Middle/Southern Europe back in the days. If you wanted to show you treat your enemies like trash and have no mercy, nevertheless of their position or status, it was the best way to make everyone around you eternally afraid. To cut some misconceptions, impaling was usually done from the bottom, not through the victim, like most people think. Yes, that's right - through butts. It was an excruciatingly painful and slow death, while the victims remained tied to the stake, unable to do anything and left to rot.
  20. You bet. Just imagine that. This reminded me of something:
  21. Gorgeous art! It's not anime styled, but that doesn't disqualify it at all in case of such magnificent execution. This is quite exicting, indeed. I'm also rooting for such visual novels to appear on our market; the last thing we miss are games exactly like these, with proper storyline and anime styled graphics. Would make a nearly perfect visual novel. I'm also a big fan of darker-themed stories, so this is a big thing for me.
  22. If you haven't heard yet, @sekaiproject made a survey about potential future releases, including Key vn's: https://t.co/RCX7Ysck9q

  23. I decided to give the ticket a try and I guess it's true you can't stay lucky forever - last time I got two UR's with one being from the ticket, so this time it backfired, giving me a rare smile Maki. Such a waste. I'm sad. Guess this calls for more Rin.
  24. People on the internet are so easy to manipulate.
