Those so called "OELVN's" have their own place at Lemmasoft forums. Fuwanovel discusses vn's in general, nor isn't any sort of a gamedev community. You're ringing the bell in a wrong place. That said, if people want to advertise their projects, be it commercial, fanmade or non-profit, they have all the rights to do so and no one's stopping them. In fact, they are already doing it. I'm not up for a separate subforum, though; there's no reason for it to exist on Fuwanovel, at least not now and not yet.

Allowing more fexibility for users means permitting mind holocaust. It's been a while since I seen any decent forum, where users take full responsibility for the crap they write.

I'm torn between 3 and 7. The rest is, unfortunately, horrible.

PSP has the biggest game database of all the handhelds, including some really popular PSP-exclusive titles. To be honest, the rest of the consoles, like Vita, DS or 3DS are preety much of little to no significance, when it comes to vn market. A lot of games also achieved PSP ports; in most cases, plenty of games gets ported to PSP when their popularity rises over a certain threshold, mostly profitability. Even tho Sony ceased the production of PSP, there are games still being made for it and I doubt this will fade anytime soon. Check the VNDB and filter out the PSP only games and you'll see what I'm talking about.

DS isn't a console, it's a handheld. You forgot about PC-FX; I know it's an extremely rare machine and a no-port-for-you type of console as well (only for hardcore jp fans), but it had a bunch of good, memorable titles worthy of mentioning, Pia Carrot and Doukyuusei 2 amongst them.

Seems like I will have to dissapoint you guys, but this event won't be any lighter than Nico's. I wasn't planning to nolife this event, but I'm already down to 4,5k in ranking, which never happened to me before, even during the Nico event and this is just the beggining. I guess Honoka is preety popular around here as well, after all. Aside from that, I did the Natsuiro Egao de 1, 2, Jump! on EXP without bigger issues (tho, no FC), but still can't FC the event song on HARD -_-

Even though we managed to achieve really a lot when it comes to the current state of robotics and cyber engineering, We're still far off from creating even the simplest strong A.I. which is a basic prerequisite for any human-like robots. That said, judging from the current pace our technology is evolving, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say, that we might see first androids within the next 15-25 years. That's still a weak A.I. Those machines aren't really learning anything by themselves - they are just programmed to copy and mimic the behaviours of their human guardians. It is a real jump, especially in case of factory robotics where even a non-qualified worker will be able to teach a machine how to perform various tasks, but that's not the thing pioneer robotics engineers and A.I. creators are looking for. In other words, we've just finally found a real practical use for factory machines, other than just factory "pre-programmed" behaviours. In the near future, it might actually be possible we won't even have to biologically engineer anything; as long as we'll manage to create a real, strong A.I. capable of self-learning, common sense, empathy and feelings and androids with bodies as close to ours will become a reality, you can be sure that japanese will propably create such series as personal companions and toys. I am 100% sure of that, knowing what japanese are actually capable to pull off.

Shoujo ai/shonen ai doesn't exist in japanese fandom; those terms were created by western audience to distinguish stories with bigger emphasis on romance and feelings within homosexual relationships, rather than more sexually explicit japanese yaoi/yuri. That distinction does not exist in Japan.

Any few year old PC will be more powerful than those pieces of crap called "new gen" consoles. We're having a reverse trend raising, and consoles are slowly getting into decline again. Compared to older generation consoles, current ones have far less console exclusive titles than ever before; most games are simply ports or multi-something-shit, even devs themselves aren't completely sure what type of market were they aiming at with them. This raises one particular question - what's the current purpose of consoles? Cause from what I see, there's literally no incentive to be an owner of any of them, unless that one particular, console-exclusive game makes you unable to breathe normally. If anything, it might be worth to get an Wii U. At least it'll have something to offer.

Just as I thought; this event's song might actually be the easiest one of all, but the note sequence makes it incredibly tricky to gain FC, unless you get it right. I did the song twice on hard and failed miserably on those intersecting long notes. On the other hand: I still lack accuracy to reduce the number of greats; either that, or I'm just not serious enough. It's still funny, since I finally FC'ed it on first run today, like it was nothing at all. Perhaps because it's my most favourite of all special songs and it kinda grew on me. After all, Nico and Nozomi make a delicious combo :> Also, why am I ranked only around 1k? _-_ edit: LEL

I have to admit it's taking them much longer compared to previous updates, which were done in less than hour. I wonder what's the cause.

Finally.

Susume->Tommorow feels like an really easy song on hard setting. Despite this, my constant attempts at FC'ing it ended in vain so far. I've been trying since yesterday and always make that stupid mistake in the middle of the song. Therefore I propose on introducing a new term: YASM (Yet Another Stupid Mistake).
