Some guys over at Beast's Lair are recording the voices from the Vita version of the game and bringing them over to the PC version. Sounds like the recording and inserting are pretty easy, with the actual splitting and labeling of the files being the tedious part. Kind of glad I hadn't read this one yet,

I need to look for more local sources of VNs. The only one I know of is Goodwill(it's a Japanese computer store, not the US thrift shop). I've checked electronics stores like Best Denki and Yamada Denki, but no love so far.

Aldnoah.Zero is too legit to quit.

If that isn't a plothole I don't know what is.. It's not a plot hole. It's a side route.

I just finished G-senjou no Maou. Thought I was doing pretty good... and then the epilogue crushed me. Fuck.

Well I've gotten through Tsubaki's and Kanon's routes in G-senjou no Maou. So far at least, it isn't quite good enough to topple my current favorites, but it definitely is good. Kyousuke's interesting in that he's competent, but not unbelievably so. Club activities are hilarious.

I kind of disagree with this

So this has probably been the best Aldnoah.Zero episode this season. We're finally seeing battles that require team tactics instead of it being "Inaho wins because supereye." He was still part of the plan, but his involvement could have been replaced by anyone with the appropriate equipment.

Finally getting around to starting G-senjou no Maou.

Remember back when an anime called Death Parade came out? Ah, those were the days.

I may have to force myself to slow down a bit. I just finished volume 6, and I could easily finish the manga within a day or two even with my work schedule. Nao does get better, though.

Had a good laugh in volume 2:

Day One: obsessively organizing all of the files into a format I can readily peruse on my tablet. Method: combination of Manga Crawler, Advanced Renamer, 7-Zip and a few arcane utterances inputted in command line. End Result: 19 cbz files to cover each volume(last few dozen chapters guessed at since no official volumes are available yet). The world is in order; I can rest at last. Now to start reading while I take a luxurious bath in my tiny, cramped Japanese bathtub.

Hmm.. 7.5/10.3 Looks hopeful, but the superwide eyes throws it off a tad.

I'll do it if an anime takes a turn I really dislike. Most often this is due to rapid adaptation decay. The most recent example I have of this is Akame ga Kill. It followed the manga pretty faithfully until nearly the end, but then within 2 episodes it completely jumped the rails and went anime original. I stopped watching after that.

Just finished Fate/Zero. Pretty much everything I was expecting from Urobuchi + Ufotable.

So, I'm finished with Fate/Stay Night for now. I haven't gotten all of the endings, but I figure I'll save those for a later so I'll have a reason to revisit the VN. Definitely a great way to get me back into visual novels after a bit of a break. So should I go ahead and read Hollow Ataraxia, or is it better to give the series some space between titles? At the very least, I'm probably going to finally get around to watching Fate/Zero first.

Hmm... depends on what's bothering you in Muv Luv at least. Is it the lower quality of the sprites or the art design of the characters that bothers you? If it's the quality, then I can absolutely say that this improves in Alternative. If it's the character designs, then... honestly, they grow on you. Once you start connecting with the story, the things that annoyed you become part of their charm. At least, that's how it worked for me. I had more trouble with Steins;Gate to be honest. Those vacant eyes of theirs...

Just finished the Unlimited Blade Works route in Fate/Stay Night. I have to say that I like the way that each route builds off of the previous one. It doesn't waste your time re-explaining things you already know, and instead reveals new mysteries and clarifies things that didn't make sense in the previous route. Oh, and I've gotta say that it was pretty hilarious having both Shirou and Rin as tsunderes. I'm thinking of watching a couple episodes of the UBW anime before I tackle the Heaven's Feel route. Oh, and I got a nice wallpaper out of that route as well:
