  1. Boku no Hitori Sensou was one of the biggest disappointments I've had since I started reading untranslated. I can't believe it's written by the same person who wrote G-senjou no Maou. Should've taken those votes into account. Edit: the amazing BGM is wasted on this game, it's the only reason I'm not uninstalling it...
  2. We get that and the next thing will end up being Sakura Penis. I'll blame you when that happens.
  3. But what if I want to see a normal dude in extraordinary circumstances (that isn't a plain harem)?
  4. The only reason I could somewhat recommend Kotori Love Ex P are Innocent Finale and the Christmas Days short story, which were actually kind of nice. I couldn't see the marriage days part as anything other than a pretty meh sex romp, with a cheating option to boot. The other stories were just as boring.
  5. It's nice and short. No masterpiece, but I'd say it's worth checking out.
  6. The Grisaia from fuwanovel's old torrents started with 720p when you first launched it, while the Steam version starts at 576p. The text in the Steam version looks pretty bad too, at least for me. I think they just ported the console version, which would explain it.
  7. No it wasn't, Steam has many good sides to it. Idiots are and always will be out there, regardless of the place.
  8. I'd like to take a moment here to express my respect and condolences to the fuwanovel moderation staff. Know that your efforts at self-control aren't going unnoticed.
  9. How is the translation quality in this one?
  10. The first scene in Aster. Made me love Maki Izumi.
  11. Keep dreaming.
  12. When I dug through Tae Kim's guide I wrote four A4 pages of a "short version" - with grammar rules and exception verbs. It was only for the first month that I used it though, didn't need it after that anymore.
  13. Your opinion doesn't matter if you haven't finished at least a hundred VNs. Bonus:
  14. Can you name any specific titles?
  15. I don't really have a favourite developer despite having read 100+ VNs. Used to like minori (for ef) until I tried one of their more recent games (sex, boobs, sex, did I mention boobs?). Used to like Key until my tastes changed (still love Rewrite though). I can't really judge a developer (assuming they even have some sort of a policy in place and don't leave everything to the writer) without having played a good amount of their major titles and I'm still somewhat new to the world of untranslated VNs, but I do have some candidates: - Moonstone. For Princess Evangile and Natsu no Iro no Nostalgia. While I didn't enjoy these games all that much (prefer plot titles over moege), I liked the writing, especially the way Kure makes protagonists. Will be more sure about these guys once I read Doko e Iku no, Ano Hi and the upcoming big title. - SORAHANE. For Haruka Kanata alone. It's a game that left a very long-lasting impression on me and I'm excited for whatever it is that's coming up. I also played their first game, Aqua, it had its good points but I didn't really like it for a bunch of reasons. - Makura. Because of H2O -Footprints in the sand-. The plot is different from the anime, there is less of it, but having looked at the anime synopsis I can say I prefer the VN version. The fandisk/side story as well as Supreme Candy disappointed me greatly, nonetheless I definitely want to play Himanatsu and Sakuuta before I make my judgement on this developer. - Lump of Sugar. Reeeeeally not sure about this one. There's things I like and things I hate here. I loved two routes in Hello, good-bye as well as Uzuki route in Gaku Ou (though the rest of the game is utter boredom). Placing all of my bets on the big one. There could be a surprise coming with Tayutama 2 since apparently the writer is a new guy no one knows anything about, but I'm not holding my breath. - Nanawind. Again, a good impression from their first game, Yuyukana, even if it was mostly the same plot in every route. Loved the art style, liked the music and the absence of loli. I'll have to play Alia's Carnival to know for sure.
  16. Could a book without any text be called a book?
  17. Coming from a mystery fan, Aoishiro was great.
  18. Fureraba (it's plotless though)
  19. Or you could learn Japanese and play fullscreen like a real weeb man
  20. https://vndb.org/v1660 https://vndb.org/v6710
  21. https://vndb.org/v5316
  22. That music has got to be from some VN. Which one is it? Oh and, uh... nice spins
  23. Tayutama takes it too far in some of its H. There's at least one that reads like a rape scene.
  24. Might fit the bill https://vndb.org/v828
