  1. Bully? He was trying to shove his single-minded opinions onto me, so I gave him a taste of mine. Also, considering the time it took for me to write that, I get sad when I see a reply a couple of minutes after.
  2. And how would you determine "what kind of person" he is?He was rather annoyed at how a thread about a route that he was looking forward to getting translated suddenly got reduced to random chatter. He thought that he'd never get the translation, so he expressed his heavily biased opinion. What were his problems? -Attitude was definitely all wrong, but this is the internet, where everyone is anonymous, he's got better things to worry about than that. -He commented about it, but he should have read the thread and all updates carefully first. As is, he just seems like a whiny kid who didn't bother reading about how the translation got a new thread. -It definitely feels like trolling. That's all well and good with me. Even if he is, I did all that was possible to help with his alleged problems, if he gets satisfaction from that, good for him, because so do I. He was definitely not the first person to present any of these problems, however. We've gotten plenty of people who didn't read the latest post and asked for an update on the translation, even if his question had been answered moments prior. Trolling is par for the course in this thread, no reason to jump the gun on this particular one. His attitude was the only problem that stood out, and that too is subjective. What kind of attitude should a person have on the internet? I may act like a nice person (or do I? I'm not even sure myself), but have you counted how many times I've insulted someone in this thread? Maybe he was simply exaggerating in order to get his feelings across. Does that make him a bad person? Maybe he is a nice guy who's extremely bad or sensible when dealing with his worse emotions. Maybe I'm just spouting nonsense at this point.
  3. I'll agree on how it affects your image and all that, but it's not like a commanding officer doesn't already know what his subordinates think of him. It was a chat between the lads, no different from at work when no officers are nearby. But I won't go into defending them, it's not exactly a good thing either.
  4. I've finished watching Soul Eater. While episode 47 was bonkers, I'm reasonably satisfied with the ending. Kid is a character I really like. Black Star has a very generic design and a very simplistic character (they can tiptoe around it all they want, he just wants to be an attention hog). Maka's character seems to be a bit harder to grasp. I took her for a Tsundere but then she turned all nice on Chrona. I thought she was the straight man but that's Kid's job, as she seems to have irrational fits and crybaby moments for no good reason. Soul is mostly cool, but I'm not one who gets anime logic, so sometimes he says stuff I think is really stupid but then turns out to be common sense in that world. I'll probably watch Spice and Wolf next, but I'm reading Soul Eater manga first.
  5. Oh, Chizuru, is it that hard for characters to have huge round glasses? Why is it they always have to be changed in adaptations?
  6. Attitude problems are none of my concern. To check the translation progress and updates on a regular basis use this thread: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/6556-majikoi-translation-project/ I do advise that you check the topic title before posting though, that's kind of useful.
  7. That addendum in between brackets renders me retortless.
  8. If you need help I can start fixing all his sentences and criticizing him, in hopes of him starting to use proper English. It's not like I have anything better to do than disprove that statement of yours, anyways.
  9. A few? I have never laughed as much at anything than I did at Steins;Gate. When Okabe says something, important or otherwise, and suddenly a retort comes from somewhere or he gets cut off. His voice actor voiced the following lines marvelously. He just makes a esjkfsdjkfbsd noise kind of thing. I need to find and record one of those someday. It will forever remain as one my favourite gaming moments, when I first heard him do that, because I do the exact same thing. English version of Rintaro sounds so much better to me. Hilariously eloquent, and he just generally seems smarter, which makes his mad scientist personality have a different take than in the Japanese Version, in which he was just plain delusional. Daru was also funnier in the English version, I thought, but that may be just me. He acts as Okabe's straight man and has some pretty funny comments, instead of sounding stupid (even if hilariously so).
  10. I was watching the news today, when I saw a couple of funny situations. Some government official slandered another one on his Facebook profile page, and that went to court. Being a government official, of course he made it out without any punishment, but he still had to change his profile. Some police officers were fined for bad-mouthing their commanding officer on Facebook. Do you think this is fair? Do you think that you should be allowed to post your thoughts and badmouth on the internet? If so, does it have to be anonymously? Can it be against a single person? What if it's not directly at them? What if it's somewhere where they can't see? Do you think that laws should be established for these situations? Personally... Plenty of people speak badly of various personages and they don't get fined or arrested. I honestly think that if you aren't sending hate mail or directly insulting him in his face, badmouthing on the internet is totally fine. But what do you think? I may actually be on a minority.
  11. I need to read it 5 times before I get what I write.
  12. I can give you a list of plenty of dubbed anime, however... My standards are rather low. If there isn't any character I can't stand, or if there isn't any voice that is just plain wrong, I usually listen to the dub. Here's probably my top contender, one in which I'd watch in both languages: Steins;Gate - has a unique dub, in which it changes the personality of various characters, and it still fits both the animation and the characters themselves.
  13. That statement is as strong as Ouraibaa's word right now, since he's go nothing to present. DoWolf could totally translate things amazingly and he decided not to do anything, as it's already good as is.
  14. Then the issue is that the text appears at a speed too slow for you. I see. (because voiced lines certainly aren't the problem) As for the testimonies, I'm not too sure. I think it's less noticeable because you're going back and forward and that means you can instantly display the text, since you've already read it.
  15. -Replace "Grisaia" with the name of any other romance anime. -You'll then notice the effect is the same.
  16. You know, such information is unnecessary. If I was looking for such imagery there are certainly better manga's for that than this one. Then again, as a friendly warning, its purpose was fulfilled.
  17. Is that so? Maybe I shall have to read the manga as well, see what is different and all.
  18. Oh, yes... I'm going to get it too, soon enough. Maybe this month, perhaps early October. I'm not actually sure why the text doesn't appear instantly on the screen. The previous ones had the same problem, but it was fixed after you read said text once, does that happen here too?
  19. Still watching Soul Eater at an unhealthy pace. I still think this isn't supposed to be my kinda thing, but I like it anyways.
