  1. Evidently today's a really special day, for both the mods and the community. There's a capital letter in your post.
  2. They're clearly different. One has spaces and the other doesn't. One can be read differently and the other can't. Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese people all read my name right the first time. It's one of my ways to distinguish them from others.
  3. I'm a picky fellow, and that goes against one of the conditions I set up.
  4. The main issue is that I want to have a name that works everywhere, so it can't have spaces in most of them. And since I don't mind being called Tiag by strangers. Eventually I'll introduce myself, and from that point onwards I'll be Tiago.
  5. People. Where are the one thousand posts? C'mon. I'm not the kind of person who posts cat pictures so I'm counting on you guys.
  6. I don't know what to post either. So I just make stuff up and hope my post doesn't get hidden or deleted.
  7. Of course. I'm the lazy mod. Obviously. In all seriousness, me, nosebleed and down deal with reports equally. The other mods deal with them too, just not so much- but they're all incredibly helpful people in other aspects. Kendjin is the upload king, Beato helps with the front page, etc, etc- I wouldn't say any one of us is better than the other as a mod. I'm glad to work with such a competent team, and being a mod is pretty cool, all in all. (...Have I no counter-argument...?) Anyhow. Good for you. You seem to be satisfied with the moderating team and work environment. That is very good. A poor pleb like me wouldn't really know all those things would he? I have commented on what I knew and thanked everyone. My work here is done. Although I'll stay to wreak havoc and call BS.
  8. He's the big baddy behind everything that'll show up on the last 5 pages.
  9. You'll have to read the book to find out.
  10. I'll take it as fabricated evidence. (Given the fact that only you and the person you are defending are present there. Awfully shady indeed)
  11. Sucking up to people, eh? What shameful behaviour. At least be subtle, like me.
  12. No, it's Tiago eff Varela. The letter is nothing else to you, thank you very much. Tea-ah-go; eff; ver-é(high pitched shriek)-la You're taking your time. Instead of being here commenting, just hurry up, worrying about spoiling other people is annoying.
  13. Fire ze missiles, blow the heretic to space! Also, which one did you play? I played all of them as they came out, but I stopped with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
  14. Case in point, I've seen you do bugger all thus far. All I have is your word, shady as it is. I'll just have to force my cynical self to believe it. Edit: Don't edit stuff in after I've already replied. What if I couldn't be arsed to reply? Thanks for the clarification. You might also notice that I'm not exactly accurate on most of the other descriptions either. It's all based on my biased experience.
  15. At last, someone who doesn't butcher my name. With the added bonus of defending my actual name. I understand, people tend to think that. I don't mind it as much as switching a vowel. But as I've many a times stated, my name is Tiago. Tiago F Varela.
  16. You're so lucky I always read everything. I would've otherwise missed it. You're also a bastard for stealing my song. That was terribly offensive. I'll have you sued. You better get a good defense attorney. ----- On a more serious note (if you call it that), here are my current thoughts on the mods of Fuwanovel (in my limited experience with them since the time I joined). Tay, the host of this party. -Thanks for including Monty Python as one of the tracks for this party. I was worried I wouldn't know any of them. Kendjin, a guy who acts like a moderator. He often takes the role of the villain in place of other mods. This makes him look harsher when coupled with how much more professionally he acts compared to other mods (that's not saying much). However, when not acting as a moderator, he always manages to give off a nice mood, courtesy of that avatar. -Thanks for being the evil-doer for the sake of order and peace. Down, the other somewhat professional mod. I'd say he likes things tidy and organized, so I'm going to assume he's one of the mods who does cleaning on the boards. Creates useful threads and likes content as opposed to useless rubbish. Anime specialist, but not VN-hophobic. Enemy of spam and useless posts, Down is an otherwise knowledgeable guy, and as is par for the course, nice. -Thanks for being organized in an otherwise mess of a lax environment. Nosebleed, the guy who interacts the most with the rest of the community, all around friendly. Acting professionally is something he tries to do when moderating and courageously fails. But that's all nice and dandy. People love him all the same. -Thanks for being a really nice guy, as if all the others weren't already. Kaguya. I have no idea what the heck he is. He has told stories of his moderator duties but I have never seen him moderate myself. He also seems like a guy with a head on his shoulders. Yet another thing I've never seen him use. All I have is myths and legends. I look forward to one day seeing you do stuff. (All the trolling [with a positive connotation, nothing prejudicial] and spamming he has done has been omitted for the sake of leaving this gentleman in a positive light ) -Thanks for all the work behind the scenes, which I'm sure you do as you'd otherwise be useless and I'm supposed to thank and congratulate you people. Beato, I've seen very little of this lurker. But it seems like she knows things and helps fix a variety of visual novel issues. Good. -Thanks for knowing things and fixing other people's troubles. Steve... is not nor ever was a moderator since the time I joined. End quote. -Thanks for not being a moderator and saving me the trouble of writing something witty. (yes, the others were supposed to be somewhat funny) zhurai, you were not forgotten http://youtu.be/ZsqI3NOZBiM?t=5m3s. Unfortunately for you, I know jack all of the work you've done. You're really nice. I've always found people with broken English to be the nicest. Fops like me come across as twats. -Thanks for being a nice shadow hidden in the corner. ilegend. I think I saw an altogether of one post from you. I've grasped your character to such lengths that I could go on for pages, but I'm sure you'd get bored, so I'll leave it here. -Thanks for existing and for letting me butcher your name for over an hour. Mods who I haven't mentioned, I'm afraid that I've simply hardly ever seen you around. Thanks for being mods though, otherwise this page would be barren, that'd look awful. ----- This is the part where I join the party, right? Let's add a classic just because I can, then. http://youtu.be/O2ulyJuvU3Q Anything else? Have I filled my quota yet? Eh, time will tell.
  17. The only time you show your face here is to defame me?
  18. I'm afraid I can't allow you to name me something I can't pronounce.
  19. I was really worried you people might've thought I knew how to write. What a relief. "Is Tiago's name..." You got it right. My name is Tiago. Tiago F Varela. I pity your son should he have to put up with your naming sense.
  20. You are indeed missing something. Yandere Translations started and finished nearly all the main routes, but they dropped the project before Miyako's was finished. This project, originally meant only to translate Miyako's route, then turned into the translation of everything Yandere left incomplete.
  21. I was born with it. (now come and track me down)
  22. Is it really that hard to spell my name? How come everyone gets Ouraibaa's right? And while my fan fiction may certainly be "unique", interesting is not exactly what I'd call it.
  23. 1. Logistically speaking, was the experience seamless? (Did the engine run smoothly, text legible, proportion of sprites to bgs, etc) Everything was fine. (I use Chrome) There were a couple of occasions where the BGM didn't loop. Either that, or I let it run for way to long. Perhaps it has to do with me tabbing out, that does seem likely. (Clicking an extra time when an effect appeared. Doesn't really annoy me though) 2. What were your first impressions on the VN? 3. Which character is the most appealing? (As an interesting character, not necessarily romantic interest) Protagonist-kun. From the whole experience I can say his back story seems to have got me interested. 4. What was especially well done in the game? ... I'm sorry but I've got nothing. The dialogue was engaging, but any old rubbish story can pass as good through my ignorant eyes. The BGM's were forgettable (as in, I don't remember them after the experience), not that I didn't enjoy it, though. There were sound effects all about. They were seamless. I like the protagonist, but any sarcastic character has my attention. 5. What could be improved? I found the sprites to have some differing styles, especially in the face (compare Rui to Masato). This isn't something that necessarily needs fixing, but I thought I'd note that I noticed a difference while playing. I thought Rui was a bit exaggerated... Some of her comments were forced or downright not funny. (I can put specific examples if you ask me to at a later date) I also thought some could be better worded to not feel as forced. 6. Feel free to include any other comments/questions and we will try to answer them to the best of our ability The backgrounds were by no means realistic, but I like them cute like that. Actually, while I like all the sprites, the rest of the art is pretty average. It look cute though, and I like cute. I'm totally fine with it as is. [Please note that while I speak of several things as average, I am comparing it to my usual visual novel. No scruples I'm afraid]
  24. Unlimited Blade Works because Tohsaka.
