  1. Because neither of us can prove our arguments. Unless a writer says: "I specifically thought of including Avalon as a plot device before making the fight scenes" Then we can't prove which sprouted out of which. So I gave my opinion instead.
  2. I will not change my argument. The almighty Avalon is but a mere excuse to allow them to make battles more epic by having Shirou be destroyed but still live, since they need a protagonist and can't have him be killed at all times. It gets downplayed in the bad ends, and the rest of the plot just happened to fit. "Now that we have a that thing, might as well give it some meaning. Reason why Saber was summoned... Reason why Saber was considered immortal... Yeah, this seems good" Then Zero came along and just used it, since it was already there. All in all, my argument is baseless and I still think it's funny how they even justified the nonsense this time around. Rather unlike Tsukihime.
  3. I'm kinda wondering how they plan on animate the nonsense that went on in some of those battles. The descriptions were so overstated it was ridiculous. "My limbs were cut of, my eyes popped out and my brain exploded... But I won the fight without a scratch" - Basically all fights with Shirou involved, ever. They even had to make some excuse about a regenerating body to try and justify this poppycock.
  4. So many effects! My eyes! They're melting!
  5. What a weird resemblance. I hadn't noticed that. How peculiar... Well, we haven't even seen the face of the guy on top, but due to how ominous he was when he showed up and talked... Will he turn out to be some kind of villain?
  6. I doubt I would be commenting if I hadn't played it myself. I still think Emi's has an ungodly amount though. And how did I make it sound like crap? Or are you talking about my favourite route, Shizune's? Because I didn't lie. The romance amounts to being locked in the student council room all day and playing board games.
  7. Because Hanako's cute like a penguin and has a tragic background. Because Lily is really, really nice and has romance filled route. Because Rin's route is drugs. Everyone wants drugs. Because Emi's is full of sex. Everyone wants sex. By comparison, Shizune has no romance and some drama with the pink-hairded girl which gets solved by itself when you're locked in the student council room.
  8. The book. I had a reason at the time, it made more sense. But now I don't recall my thinking.
  9. Planetarian is a feels bombardment. But it's short. Get your tissues on the ready. Grisaia has a long, comedic common route. If you don't like comedy or get bored easily, be careful with this common route and don't marathon it. The story within is great though. Out of the five routes you're guaranteed to love 2/5. The other 3 depend on your personal opinions, but you can't say any of them is devil's spawn. Hoshizora No Memoria is appreciated by many people, it's got romance and a story. Not as heavy on the feels as your usual, but it's got some drama as expected. There are 7 routes. The twins' routes are the main dish, with Asuho's for fanservice and Aoi for masochism (as in, I want to punch a wall kind of masochism). Chinami's has backstory on the protagonist (and incest, terribly done incest). The rest you'll just have to see for yourself. Umineko has nothing to do with your tastes. It's a mystery visual novel, and I can't deny there's romance in it, but for a 100 hour + experience that is only natural. Remember I said mystery, but it's not your traditional mystery either. That visual novel is true literature. If you plan on reading it, you really have to read it properly, rushing to the next part is a recipy for finishing it while still being in the dark on half the story.
  10. I'd recommend Rewrite. By the creators of Little Busters!, Clannad and Angel Beats!, the plot is not focused around either feels or romance but does include them. By the time you reach the end it can turn a bit darker, but other than that, it has a fun common route (long), and 5 heroine routes (long). I also recommend Grisaia no Kajitsu. I don't care if it fits your tastes (it does, though). Read it anyways.
  11. He might be trying to give us the impression he has a life of some kind and is busy with it. Or maybe he's working on QC'ing. Both equally likely possibilities.
  12. Oh yes. I watched from the sidelines. Clothes were being torn up all over the place (interpret that as you will).
  13. So deep, coming from you of all people.
  14. Disappointingly so. I might have to develop more of a personality to fit this avatar.
  15. It's plywood. It's wriggling. By it's very definition, it's a wriggling piece of plywood indeed.
  16. I don't generally hotlink, so the image might be broken for you. If you can indeed see a wriggling piece of plywood, then you don't need to worry about it. I see a man of exquisite taste. Fantastic.
  17. Self interest all in all. Well, I lose nothing by being helpful. That's what I want to ask!
  18. ... And then you wake up and see that money does not grow on trees.
  19. You need "saving"? And why are you asking me? Is it something I did? As for the save, Also, I'm afraid I don't exactly know how one would be able to give it to you.
  20. He still hasn't played it. And he keeps on spoiling himself. He doesn't do it on purpose, or so he claims. He's either an idiot, or is really bad at not reading stuff that says: "Obvious spoilers ahead. Do not keep reading, you muppet"
  21. Spamming isn't that unique.
  22. That sentence is an agglomerate of horrible in many ways. First you tease us about that game. Michiru's story, no less. Then you tell us there isn't any romance. On top of that, you call it torture. Torture is you telling us this kind of thing!
  23. It wasn't actually zhurai I got wrong. Here's how it originally was: Here's how it is now:
