Pqube localizing Steins;Gate 0, 2016, PS4/Vita, Preorders Up

I still think that it's more a matter of when it comes over, seeing as the trophy list has been leaked already. -
Pqube localizing Steins;Gate 0, 2016, PS4/Vita, Preorders Up

Quite a ways from "worldwide Spring", but I must say that the game looks great either way. Hyped. Now all I need is Net High... -
Love you, Ren. I think you're an amazing member of this community, and I don't think I will ever forget how much you contributed to this site. Thank you, Ren. Thank you. If you decide it's time for you to leave, then I can only wish you the best of luck. Hopefully you'll find something, somewhere to inspire you again. It won't be the same.

Grisaia never really got to me beyond a particular arc in Amane's route, but I find it interesting how I heard that for most people Michiru being written by someone else ruined it.

Hey the title of this thread was much longer did a mod edit it or something

Said "fuck Gangamamer" and went and downloaded the original translation of Higurashi. I love the VN's first two chapters - truly amazing- but when MG went and released only TWO FUCKING CHAPTERS OUT OF EIGHT in a year, I ended up being fed up. I'll not be at home at all in July save for one week occupied by my family and Zero Escape 3, so I am not planning on waiting for somebody to prepare a PS3 voice&asset patch for Tatarigoroshi (Higurashi CH3). But hot damn the old release is atrocious. Even when prepatched, it's 4:3, PS2 resolution, and there's no voice acting. Sad, but preferable to waiting for seemingly three more years for the rest of the story.

Finished House Of Leaves after reading it spottily for the last week- I'd gotten to close to 400 pages read back in February. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Great horror book, although it's rather overwhelming (600+ pages and the book is HUGE in terms of page size). Next up is Astronomy 101 by Carolyn C. Petersen. Figured I should start reading up further on astronomy and cosmology. Going to hold off from Neuromancer, Inkheart, Lovecraft's works and Inferno until I get my filthy, filthy hands on an eReader, which might be until August (:c). I'll be buying it with money I have earned myself! ^o^ Also I'm going to read The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame and The Chocolate War for school this summer. Opinions about them? I recall very briefly reading the beginnings of The Chocolate War a LONG time ago, like 4 years long. Only heard of the other one.

What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?
Funyarinpa replied to solidbatman's topic in Gaming Talk
Progressing in Soul Sacrifice Delta. Got up to the chapters of the Mad Chronicle, but since I'm already having trouble with 3* pacts, I'll be doing stuff from the Pacts section before moving on with the story. About done with the 3* set of Pacts, will do the 4* ones as well befor emoving one. I have several Debt Pacts and Forgotten Pacts to go as well, and the second Sanctuarium companion unlocked recently. There's some sort of community event going around in Dark Souls 1, so I played a couple hours of it today. I need to get used to it again, the entrance to Sen's Fortress is cucking me and so is exploring Darkroot Basin. Very anxious I'll end up missing something critical, and feeling insecure about how I can't understand much about the lore when people understand so much about it. Overwhelmed by hearing people play it for hundreds of hours as well- I'm only in it for the lore and I have many other story based games to play. Final Fantasy VII is simply fun. I love the battle choreography- it makes every single encounter fun and dramatic in some way. Current plan is focusing on SSD- I really want to be done before I leave for camp in two weeks. -
Thanks! I think I heard somewhere that Uchikoshi was actually the one arguing that the game is complete as is, and that Nakazawa wanted a more detailed ending. But I also hear rumors that a third route for Remember11 was cut completely, so I ain't sure.

VN's that were not up to their mark....
Funyarinpa replied to Arkamondal's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Boooo. The epilogue wasn't what I was expecting from that VN, but it was incredible in my opinion. Absolutely amazing. As for Kanno, I'd agree. Felt like they just skipped over hours' worth of potential backstory and characterization over there. -
It will most certainly be remastered, for one- unless they decide to port the GODAWFUL "Novel" version from iOS, that is. Also, well, it's a conventional and convenient way to legally obtain the game. If by Zero Tme Escape you mean Zero Escape 3, it's been known for months that it's coming to Steam. The page is in fact live. Incredibly unlikely, seeing as we've known about that for months and the official Chunsoft account has talked about ZE3's Steam version before.

(this video is from the very beginning of 999) I believe the implication is evident. In case the pictures don't load: Just look at the newest tweets: https://twitter.com/Uchikoshi_Eng Fuck yes. FUCK. YES.

If we're talking about prerelease hype, easily Killer Queen (the translation). EASILY. I'm an absolute sucker for the "people stuck somewhere are bound to kill each other based on an arbitrary set of rules" trope, AKA "Battle Royale" (hence why the book of the same name is my favorite novel), and I was hyped as hell for KQ. The first episode was somewhat decent, although the setting was generic. Then came the second episode and let me tell you if Newton ever saw anything else drop the ball as hard as Killer Queen did halfway through he'd probably have wondered what was the error in his laws of motion for the rest of his days. -Pedo pandering bullshit (regardless of your taste, shit just doesn't work when you insert h-scenes in between what's supposed to be tense and scary moments let alone the whole pedo angle making you go "Uuuuugh...") -Nothing of deep significance: No thematic value, no philosophical or personal introspection of humanity, no artistic merit in other words. A very cut-and-dry slasher movie , in a way. -The mystery surrounding why the game exists is unsatisfactory and dismissed. -
Nice find. I think it was either here or somewhere else where someone found a track on the PS2 R11 OST video still up on Youtube (Remember11's PC OST, like Ever17 and Never7's OSTs, seems to be gone), and it was very unfamiliar and it might have been a PS2 only track, but I lost that info. Moreover, I'm pretty sure that some version of the game has a developer interview and it is up translated somewhere (perhaps the Lemnisca TL page, in which case it's likely lost since they took down all their patches when they teamed up with Sekai Project for Root Double). As for the ending, I loved the idea although I only found out the explanation after finishing the game since I read it when I was like 14 and didn't understand shit. Otherwise the ending was indeed anticlimactic, though the rest of the VN was utterly incredible, I find (still my favorite PC VN).

Obviously. I mean that's why it was a dream full of helplessness- without Voko, there is no salvation.

Confession: There are at least three, 99.9% likely four different high school age people in Turkey who know of Euphoria, including me. And this is fucking amazing

Is there any sci-fi series out there that's as expansive as The Wheel Of Time or many other fantasy series ("decalogy" being a word, for one, is incredible)? I suppose Discworld counts, but I have literally no other ideas- the closest thing I have is Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

Vita's not given enough credit. Its influx of new games despite being cucked commercially and by its creator company is incredible Also Xseed recently had a press release where they didn't mention Net High at all, riposa in pace
