How does somebody not like Golden Boy? Come on, it is literally perfect in every way. Literally. Perfect. Be sure to watch the dub. I actively avoid anything that seems really bad, so I probably can't list the worst anime ever, but I can list some of the worst stuff that people actually watched around a decade ago when I most actively watched anime. The entire .hack series. Soooo fucking boring. It won't offend you or be super outwardly bad, but it will be impossible to last an entire season unless you're an inhuman monster. RahXephon, a trainwreck of a mecha anime that tried too hard to be Evangelion. Tenjou Tenge. How far can a series go on fanservice alone? Kinda far, but not far enough. Midori no Hibi. Some people actually liked this? whyyyy?? Ragnarok: The Animation. Because the terrible korean f2p MMO populated entirely by illiterate 12 year olds really needed an anime adaptation. Galerians: Rion. I only know this because it's based on a (terrible) ps1 game I played back in the day. It is the worst. Probably the objectively shittiest show on my list. Actually, I'm pretty sure you will actually like some of this stuff since our tastes differ so wildly. Also, Flutterz was right, free Flutterz!

I think my monkey brain is too slow for grim patron warrior. My win record with it is pretty decent but every single match is mentally exhausting. What a crazy freaking deck. At first I was surprised because you don't see too many people on the ladder run it. The deck actually dominates almost all matchups. It's so incredibly OP it's actually kind of ridiculous. It also has a somewhat low barrier to entry. 4 Naxx wings and 1 BRM wing, and a few hundred dust. But then I actually tried playing it and yeah, it is pretty much the most difficult deck to actually play correctly in the history of hearthstone. Maybe second to or tied with freeze mage? The math you must do on the fly is pretty intense and the strategy is often very nuanced with a lot of ways to play wrong. edit: Trump missed lethal in his stream today playing patron warrior. He took a screenshot of the board state and together with his chat of thousands, stared at that screenshot and group thinked out the turn over and over again. Taking in ideas from the many people in his chat, it took them collectively an hour to find lethal. An hour. Grim Patron Warrior in a nutshell.

I do not know why it is listed as a daily deal but doesn't have a deeper discount. It should probably be 75%, it has been listed at 50% off since the start of the sale. Seems like a mistake on Valve's end, it's even more mysterious that it hasn't been fixed in the last ten hours.
-
I actually heavily suspect that there will be a bigger discount. It has gone as low as $10 before on other sites, so it would be weird for it to not go for that or even lower at some point during this sale. So unless you're itching to play it right this second, hold off. Again, refer to my earlier posts in this thread where I implore shoppers to be patient. Even though you can request refunds, that ties up your money while everything processes and is less than ideal.

"Gaokao.Love.100days", and my dark past
Decay commented on Satsuki's blog entry in Satsuki's Bombard Zone
I believe that the devs have said that there are four main heroines with routes (Cokkie was one who had a route added in a patch), while the fifth is probably just a side heroine with a throwaway ending attached. I don't know, though, there are too many endings for any one man to get in this. Also the Gaokao is insane. A decent chunk of this VN seems dedicated to slamming the Gaokao and showcasing how awful it is. The school the game takes place in is meant to be a more progressive school and it's still pretty hellacious on its students, and they often talk about how much worse it is for students of other high schools. I mean, come on: http://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2015/06/04/china-college-exams-gaokao-cheating-gwen-guilford-intv-ct.cnn China is trying to reform the system but critics say they're not going far enough. -
She is completely devoid of any interesting personality throughout the whole work and I cannot fathom what anyone sees in her.
-
Mare is actually the worst girl. Like, the single worst one in the game. Uuuggh.
-
And thus the system works, as people are more fast and loose with their spending money, caving in to impulse purchases more easily . But I bet many devs will only look at the refund number and not think about all the extra sales they made because the system was implemented. Anyways, I liked The Witcher 1, but it's definitely very dated and doesn't hold up very well. Witcher 2 is really good, although the difficulty curve is a bit out of whack.

I'm not expecting many surprises, almost everything interesting has been announced ahead of the show. There will be a new Platinum game debuting, though, so get hyped for that.

"Gaokao.Love.100days", and my dark past

I think this is a kind of thing that's different for a native speaker and a non-native speaker, but I have very poor tolerance for bad writing, and I thought that the translation for Gaokao at its release state was too terrible to read. I stopped partway through because it was so shit. -

Interesting side note, a few days ago the developer updated the game with a revised english translation. Apparently it's just proofread instead of redone from scratch. I have not seen it so I can't judge it, but hopefully it's at least readable, now. -
Get a refund, wait for Pillars to get a daily slot.

You don't know how moe they can be. This would be the only thing that could get me to care about Love Live. Just picture it, Matthew Bellamy balancing his high school life, private life, and career as a japanese idol, the show would print money!

Even if you cheat in multiplayer games, they don't do anything to your account. There is VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat), an anti-cheat system in Valve's free Steamworks API suite, getting caught and VAC-banned in one of those games simply means you can't join any other multiplayer server that uses VAC. It doesn't even ban you from playing the game. Most MP games don't use VAC, in these cases it's up to the developers and publishers to enforce their own terms of service, Valve doesn't do any enforcement for them and your Steam account is free from any risk. Basically, Steam is a content delivery service, what you do with that content is your business and Valve doesn't care. There is also Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall. Shadowrun Returns was mediocre, and worse than all of the games you mentioned. Shadowrun Dragonfall was really good and better than Wasteland 2, probably better than Divinity. One thing to note is that Divinity's multiplayer mode is really fun.
-
No. edit: To be more clear, Valve allows you to modify the games you download in any way you want. That patch does not go against the Steam terms of service.

What they should actually do is make the third season about Muse.

Oh. Well, consider the type and amount of stuff imported all the time, and with only one person recorded being busted for it (with a healthy dose of drama surrounding it and a judge ruling parts of the law unconstitutional), you will almost certainly be fine. Here's the deal, possession of this stuff is extraordinarily unlikely to get you in trouble, in the US. You are more likely to get struck by lightning. Contrary to some people's beliefs, the government isn't snooping around your private porn collection. Someone would have to report you. And then the case would be ignored unless you are considered dangerous in some other way or they find RL child porn on your system, or some sort of connection to child porn communities and that kind of thing. Unless your district attorney is extremely ballsy and wants to risk looking like an enemy of the first amendment. And even in the exceptionally unlikely event that all of this has happened to you, depending on the state there's a decent chance you could fight it. So in short, Americans pretty much have nothing to worry about right now when it comes to this issue. If you want to play it safe, don't import anything sketchy.
-
Foreign imports are subject to federal law, not state law, so it doesn't matter where they search it. There are also no cases of anyone getting in trouble for importing loli stuff in the US, unlike Canada. edit: beaten by a second
-
Serious question: How many people in the US have been convicted for having lolicon hentai?
-
Clearly not, only ten backers so far. It's a reverse NTR otome game. Has any of those even existed before? The cross section between the targeted female otomege fan demographic and reverse NTR fans seems incredibly small.

Venus Blood Hypno requires a font patch to display correctly in non-Japanese Windows
Decay commented on sanahtlig's blog entry in Sanahtlig's Corner
I would avoid jumping to conclusions like this. All sorts of random unforeseen issues like this can crop up in software development, and I doubt most companies do this intentionally. In this case, it seems less like they are intentionally locking out westerners, and more like they simply never tested it with a non-japanese OS because why would they? -
You just had to capture my shame for all to see, didn't you?
