I played like 10min of its demo a long~ time ago, and its gameplay kind of reminded me of FF: Crisis Core (which I didn't think was too bad). Well, at least I'll still have the story/chars to look forward to hopefully! I guess I just get hyped about any FF game, lol.. and want to try it for myself. But thanks for the warning~

Yeah I was about to get it and realized it only has Episode 1 out currently, and I also read some user comments that it's not as good as the trailer made it seem. I'll still try playing it once all 5 episodes are out though, since I like time-manipulating kinds of stories.. plus it seems to be about close female friendships!

You're not the only one that thought that xD. I think it's because the avatars influence my perception of them. Liike how some people have a certain avatar for a long time (@Tiago), I felt weird when I saw him using a different avatar, because it wasn't Tiago to me anymore, lol.. I was thinking to myself, "an imposter!!" so I probably imagine people as their avatars somewhat and it can influence my initial impression of their gender too (but I've stopped that).

Has anyone tried it yet? Apparently, it has 5 episodes like Walking Dead. I do think it's cool that they're starting to make more interactive story-telling games like this. Ohh, never knew about this one. Another tactical Rpg, yaay~. I'd be interested in getting this. I have doubts it'd be better than Fire Emblem, but still worth a try. The only thing I don't like about it so far from pictures I've seen... is the fan service armor the female character wears.. seriously, she should just not wear any armor at all if it's not going to protect her vital parts. Who wears just an underwear to war when you're fighting on the front lines with a sword?

I'd be like a mix of Chiaki + Tsubaki soo, I'm probably a dandere. I'm in my default 'dan' mode with people, and if I like them I'll go into 'dere' mode xD. I think my 'dere' side comes out online more though.

I tried RTK for a bit when I first started, and I liked how it helped me remember some Kanji (even now I still have some mini stories I use, and easily remember the ones I went over from RTK). Still, the reason why I didn't continue it was similar to what other people have mentioned.. that it seems to focus only on associating English to the kanji without learning the on/kun readings which is needed to actually read, and learn new vocabulary (until like waaaaay later). It seems like too much work to go through just to learn english meanings, and not feel like I'm actually learning any Japanese. I guess I rather jump into learning Japanese readings than to learn a bunch of stuff before I actually start. I'm not against RTK, but I think I'm too impatient to go through it myself xD. But I think if it works for you, then keep doing it. I might even decide to try it out again if my current methods aren't working for me.

I feel like 'get the hell out of here' games can describe many xD... like Last of Us, Fatal Frame 1-2-3-4-5, Catherine, The World Ends With You, ICO, 999, Virtue's Last Reward, Danganronpa 1-2, Haunting Grounds, Rule of Rose, Siren, Corpse Party 1-2, etc.

If this comes out, I'm going to get it.. mostly for Misaka :0, and hopefully Kuroko is in it too. All the other chars seem cool too~ looks awesome.

I never said anything was wrong with it xD.. just what I thought it was first, but changed my mind after more experience with it.

I actually started with hentai VNs first, so I thought they were all like that at first.. mostly centering on pursuing or ending up with some girl(s). It was only later I found out more story-based ones, and even ones without hentai content... so I don't think that anymore. xD

I'm a big softie, so I cry very easily once I've gotten attached to characters in the story. Like there are times I tear up only, other times I shed a few tears, but the really good ones make me bawl hard. I'll name the ones I can remember at the moment (there's probably waaaayyyy more, but it's been so long I can't recall how much/if I cried, and it'd make the list too long too): Cried really hard with lots of tissues.
