  1. Confession: Strangely, even though I'm passive about most things, I'm not shy about pursuing someone I'm interested in once I sense a possible chance..or just making them aware at least. That might be why anime romances that drag on with a confession can annoy me~ Just be direct with your feelings! aauughh.
  2. Confession: I guess I'm a loli then
  3. #12 is my favorite of them all I'm gonna guess #1 is Moegii's maybe~ (oops, I meant The Major.. dunno why I said)
  4. Confession: I think I feel the same way. Except, I kinda realized that about myself a long time ago. ----------- <- Me
  5. Mwuahahaha, someone likes the 2nd one more too wiiiinnnnn I'm listening to this right now^^ it's so soothing. Makes me want to replay the game. http://youtu.be/kXFHZ7cOV08
  6. I was going to do it later, but just made mine now since I wasn't sure about exact due date.
  7. I voted NB to be the queen!
  8. Listening to this~ while I write down my thoughts^^ ..I love iiiit, brings back nice memories. http://youtu.be/XVcUTAdHWtc
  9. This is really late, but I just had to say... wow, this is like the sweetest thing I've ever seen in a community forum. You guys are all such wonderful people~. I may not know all of you that well, but it really warmed my heart to read through this thread that I teared up a bit (awww~~~).
  10. Yess, I finally finished DA:I! ...Next to finish TtT2 that I've stalled for so long >_<

  11. This sounds really fun, and neat^^b I'll probably create mine sometime before it ends~ I'll be looking forward to seeing everyone's egg decoration. C'mon @Stray Cat, you can do better than that
  12. That trailer was awesome. It looks really fun, and I'm excited to see familiar characters in it. I want to know what happened~. Can't wait!
  13. I prefer the actual console system because I can play it on the big screen with controller. It seems like it's less strain on my eyes, and don't have to hold up to my face for long time. And with a big screen, it just feels more 'better' somehow, especially at drawing me into what I'm playing... kinda like watching movies in a theater (more epic, lol). But it also depends on the game. Visual Novel-ish type games, I don't mind playing on a small handheld.. if there's a lot of movement, action-adventure kind, I rather it be on console. Then there's also the convenience of being able to bring it anywhere to play... so it really depends on the game. For something like FF Type-0, I'm actually happy they are putting it onto the console too. I'm more of a console gamer overall though. Vita/PSP > 3DS I'm a sony fan.
  14. I do think the changes will affect the convenience of accessing what's available to play (especially for newcomers), but it's not a bad change for the site overall, I think. It'll be interesting to see how the community may change and different ways to support VNs. I trust in Tay's decisions^^ since I think he does what's best for the site and everyone involved.
  15. I've just come back from the Fade...
  16. 1) Yup, I looked at all your figures. 2) I'll pick this as my favorite just based on looks/pose (I don't know the character or anime). Why do you like it? Because she looks cool with her bow&arrow pose. I like strong female characters with equipment poses. What don't you like about it? Nothing particularly. Is there another model you like? Maybe figmas since you can move them and pose with different weapons, but statue looks nice too. Would you buy it? No, just because I don't know the character. I might buy a favorite character of mine though. But even if I had the money, I think I rather spend it on video games instead of figures (though it could be nice). 3) I don't really know what I'd reccommend you, since I don't know your tastes or any of the figures in your collection xD. But if I had to buy a figure for myself, it'd be this one^^. She's one of my favorite characters and I think it looks pretty~. 4)
  17. Wow, I'm really~ surprised I won. I'll take it as a sign that I should give Clannad a try now. Thank you very much Ren, and thanks for the congratulations everyone^^
  18. Ohh, I just found this out: http://www.vg247.com/2015/02/09/fatal-frame-5-likely-to-come-west-says-itagaki/ Fatal Frame 5 might come to the west! Yay~, I hope so. I would buy a Wii U just for it. http://youtu.be/oSSM_Y_fQB4 I also saw they had a Fatal Frame related Movie released awhile back (never knew about it). I want to watch it...! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ydpq0IKruA
  19. Wow, thank you so much for doing this! How will you be making it playable on the Wii U (isn't the system region-locked)? Or will you be just releasing the script to play along with? I'm just curious, because I might want to try playing it if you get it released in English~
  20. Oh, I'll try answering the questions^^ forgot about those. This is from my own experience (I've only fully played 2 short VNs in jp, and parts of a couple others). I had built up on grammar & vocabulary through books/flashcards to about low-Intermediate level before I actually started to try reading VNs though. -If I don't understand something.. I'll re-read previous sentences, or read sentences after it to see if I can make sense of what's going on. Then if I still can't, I'll try to look it up in my grammar books or online somewhere.. usually I'd get the gist at least if the reading level isn't too difficult for me in the first place. If I encounter a bunch of sentences I can't understand, despite doing the previous mentioned, I'd look for something easier to read at my level. -For multiple definitions, I'd have to look at the context and see if my basic understanding of the meaning could be stretched a bit to fit. If not, I'd look at other definitions that could make sense. But deciding which to use will be based on context and what fits best and makes sense to me. -I use Jparser to look up Every Single vocabulary and kanji I do not know. Every time I read and see something I don't know, I'll mouse over and look it up.. I do it over it and over, and usually I'll get used to seeing the word/kanji and won't have to look at it anymore (I notice authors tend to use same words over a lot, especially in the easier level VN). You could add those words/kanji into flashcards to learn later too... but I don't bother to do that atm, since I just want to read & enjoy xD.. (plus it'd add too many to the stack I already have). -I think it's best to try and understand each and every sentence, or else it wouldn't really help if you just keep skipping and you'd also miss out on what happened.. at least try to understand the gist. If you can't even understand the gist, maybe an easier level VN would be better... but that's how I rather do it then go through a super hard one very slowly. Maybe as a beginner, you could read a easy level VN, and add vocabulary/sentences into flashcards to study? Or constantly look up as you go on Jparser xD.. but that might be really annoying if you have to do it for majority of what you're reading.
  21. I always remembered 当たる more as the basic meaning of "to hit" and seen it used in other contexts as "to succeed", "right", etc. but thinking about it (even all those definitions from wwwjdic), they still have similar meaning but changed somewhat in context it's used in I think. Such as さっき当たりました -> was hit earlier.. and he's saying that to the teacher. So if in context, it makes sense to view it as the student telling the teacher he had "hit/targeted" him before already.. which to me, is similar to being "called on" by the teacher. So that makes it easier to remember if you ever see that context used again.. instead of trying to remember every single definition/meaning on wwwjdic by itself... though, I guess with some you may have to if they're so different. Perhaps that's a bad way of remembering things xD but that's how I do it... so I'm not jamming too many different definitions for one kanji, but just remember basic (often most used) meaning and its different possible contexts it can also be used/changed in. I'm still learning though myself, so~ just a thought. From my experience so far.. it helps to read sentences before, and after if you can't make sense of it.. might help make things more clear about what they're really referring to.
  22. Yup, I agree xD. Sometimes it's interesting to see what other people wrote/thought, but mostly it can be distracting. I like new since it'd feel like it's all mine~ and I can do my own scribbles or w/e if I want to (without others on it). When I buy a used book, I get the one that has the least scribbles/highlights on it.
  23. If you do it, I might join in/watch for a refresher and maybe could learn anything I missed.^^ Ty
