Wow.. I'm so sorry for the total mistranslation... I didn't know A was slang for Adult-content xD which makes more sense.. I thought A was referring to (whatever A-Rise was). Well, I guess I just don't have as much experience with Adult content as some of the people here.

Sorry, I'm not too sure on the two girl's relationship xD.. but if it's some sort of scandal or something not good for the group's popularity, I think what hellish said could be right (the implication that it could be used against A-Rise, or something about the two girl's relationship that involve A-Rise in some way). After all, Nico never finished her sentence, so it's just implying but we aren't sure exactly what she thinks the connection is.

oook~ I'll give it a try. I tend to like the mystery genre too so this round interests me. I'll join! Zankyou no Terror looks intriguing, and it's only 11episodes. That'll be my recommendation then^^

I'm learning Japanese, so I guess I'll share my personal views and experience on it. (I took 4-semesters of it in school, and so far ~1.5yrs self-study). Also, in that self-study time I only focused on improving my reading... so my speaking/writing is quite dismal in comparison (only basic level from school). 1. Being able to read the more basic Japanese (limited kanji), probably in only a couple months. To read fluently and comprehend though, it depends how much grammar you've learned coupled with kanji & vocabulary so that could take years. The amount of years depends on the individual I think (how much time they spend to study, methods, motivation, etc). I'm not really sure if I'd even consider myself fluent yet... I could read more easily with help of text hooker though. 2. I personally felt it was very difficult because it's so different from what I'm used to (English was the first language I learned to read in, and second language I spoke in). I also understand/speak Vietnamese, but its thinking & structure is very similar to English too so that didn't help much at all. I have to completely change the way I think when learning Japanese (like open my mind up more, and think differently? Almost learning from scratch. I feel like English is very 'closed/direct' while Japanese is more 'open-ended/flowing' if that makes sense). Japanese to me is difficult, but not impossible, which is why I keep trying to get better at it. 3. Sometimes it's frustrating to learn… but in the end, I do think it's worth it. Although I came to appreciate fan-translations, I was also tired of entirely relying on them to play/read what I wanted. So I thought learning it myself would open a whole new kind of world to me that I could enjoy… and it does (hopefully more when I can get better). I also love Anime/JRPG/Visual Novels and Japanese-related stuff so I thought it'd be a perfect addition to my hobbies. It's interesting when you notice more things you wouldn't have caught before. Like the way english translations could be different from the literal meaning, character kanji names or anime titles, sometimes character personality, etc. It's something I can keep getting better at for a loonnng time… so in a way, it's a nice challenge and can also be fun to learn sometimes. There's a sense of accomplishment when you can look back and see improvement. I think this is an important question that you seriously have to think about before learning Japanese (since I personally think it takes a lot of effort and time). You should only learn it if you feel like it's worth it, or it'll be easy to give up on.

I haven't found a list of complete VNR subtitled games either... but I've found someone who has done one for Cage-Open (BL Game) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljwtzuO2AR8&list=PLxv_XIvH5bF8WmDQ7jBG-MHMcAtNwQtUw&index=1 It looks like they completed 2/4 character routes. I'm also currently doing a project for a visual novel called Sakuya (Otome Game). We haven't inserted the text in yet, but plan to do the complete (free version) of the game into VNR.

Why Japanese is easier to learn than you think
Cyrillej1 replied to Clephas's topic in General Discussion
I still think Japanese is harder to learn than you think. xD ..but that could just be me. It mostly comes down to constant studying and willingness to put time & effort to getting better at it all the time. I agree with Chrono's statement about it requiring lots of practice and making it a everyday thing. I think that's the most important to learning Japanese, is the motivation to keep going and not give up.. patience to let your mind absorb at its own pace too. -

I'd like to join this. -
My favorite romance/slice-of-life manga was Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (His & Her Circumstances). There's some comedy in it too, mostly in the beginning. ^^ It's about growing up, and accepting yourself, etc. mostly from the heroine's perspective, but it sometimes switches. Crossroad is nice too...

Gosh... I'm kinda mad that they aren't making it available on the 3DS as well.... WHYYY the Wii U! I would have bought this game on the 3DS... and it would have been perfect for it with the dual screen. -sigh- oh well, I already played it back on the gameboy advanced, but it would have been nice to play again. It's a great game.

Ohhh~ they are releasing Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for the Nintendo 3DS! Dec. 9, 2014 and it will be $30 http://youtu.be/AhpkHBUOJCM I know most people have already played it before, but ;p I thought I'd let people know if they didn't. I really love dark anime like this. It really made me think and reflect about morality in an interesting way. So who were you guys rooting for? The vampires or the humans? What do you think the best solutions would have been... would there have been any way possible for them to live in harmony? I watched it a long~ while back... but I have fond memories of it since it made me think on the story/characters for a couple days after finishing it. I think I kind of felt more empathy for the vampires especially that little girl, although I can't blame the humans for doing what they did either. Ahhhh, it's just awesome. Survival can be brutal. I gotta say, I also enjoyed the bloody gore xD just so intense. - Oh btw @Tsukiyo if you like philosophical, insightful, character development kinds of anime... you might want to check out 12 Kingdoms. It's fantasy though, with some dark/serious feeling too it in some parts (just not incredibly dark like Shiki). From the New World is also good^^

Okay, I admit there are times I've read specifically looking forward to the hentai-scenes. However, there are also times I've read specifically for the plot and characters, and the hentai-scenes don't matter at all. I think of the hentai scenes like extra icing on the cake.. something extra that can be enjoyed, but without it, it'd be fine too as long as the story & characters are great. Although, there are times I also think it would have been better without that extra icing xD since it's overdone. Ex: I recently played Soukoku no Arterial... that first hentai scene felt very out of place and out of character to me... I would have been happier if they left it out completely. I like hentai scenes if it flows well with the storyline and characters, otherwise it'd just be awkward and better left out. Still, you have the option to skip such scenes, so in the end it doesn't really matter. I think I'm mixed about it. I usually just like to feel like I have the whole experience of what something can offer without any censorship, so if I had a choice between an all-ages vs 18+ I'd pick the latter. There might even be extra things I can learn about the characters or story that was taken out in the all-ages... and if I dislike it, there's always the skip button. -Overall, I'd pick the awesome epic story and great characters (with or without hentai). ".............." I just can't... Anyways, who makes the rules about what is the truest or purest form of love and what's not. How can you nitpick that kissing is okay, and then say everything else is dirty... that's just what You want so don't make it out to be a fact and force it on everyone else. In my opinion, true love is closer to truly accepting others as they are, whether good or bad or at least attempting to understand it. This pure love idea you have... it's focused on rejecting others who are not the same. That kind of moral superiority stuff bothers me.

Here we go with the "you're a pervert, I'm not" thing again...

It really depends... some I wanted to last longer, and some I wish it just got to the point without all the annoying fillers and fluff. If the story is more plot-driven and suspenseful, it'd probably do a better job of keeping my interest long enough to finish. When it's too long, I can easily get bored if it feels like things are being dragged out or going nowhere. Especially when I have less time than I used to, I tend to prefer short-medium length now since I'm more likely to finish it. Buut~ I like both, just depends on my mood and how much time I think I can spend.

I laughed out of pure shock and disbelief xD... Poor kitty.
