  1. Great, yet another VN in my backlog. I really want to play this now.
  2. "I go by the name of Nrfhqtrsqz von Heartlan von Papriloujevsky Josepha Muren Albus Reinapadra, but you can call me Joe".
  3. "How dare you utter such obscenities!", said the lovecraftian horror, all the while drawing his pan-dimensional Sword-Gun-Laser-Quantum-Censorshipper.
  4. "Silence thyself, wench, and make haste in preparing some food for this gentleman and I!"
  5. I spent, like, 5 hours straight finishing Meakashi-hen of Higurashi yesterday. Really great. Even though I had seen the anime. I'm going to work a bit on my anime backlog before going on with Tsumihoroboshi-hen, because there's a lot of stuff I want to finish.
  6. Episode 2s are confirming my impressions so far. Yahari Ore no etc will probably be my comedy of the season, I really love all those dialogs and characters. Suisei no Gargantia ep 2 was really great. Shingeki no Kyojin lives up to the expectations. And there's tons of others... but, yeah, they're in the 'pretty nice' range. Oh, one thing. Is Date A Live actually a parody? Because it looked A LOT like it was making fun of itself in episode 2, yet it seemed serious at some points... I'm confused.
  7. What the hell man? I don't even want to know what is it from anymore >_>
  8. Er, I guess you could try to open it with command lines... I only know the Unix commands though, so I can't guide you on that...
  9. Carnival Phantasm episodes where Shiki and Shirou try to handle their respective harems. That's how it should always be.
  10. And thus our hero, set on having a feast tonight, went on his quest for the Cookie of the Dark Side, the growlings of his stomach resonating in his shiny armor.
  11. See that people? Posting with the right post formatting and reading teh sticked post will magically make you figure out how to solve your issue.
  12. Sawano is the Music God y'know. Although he mostly does movies/dramas and sometimes games, he also did some anime OST. Most notably Ao no Exorcist and Guilty Crown. He kinda saved the latter from being just shit. Gonna watch episode 2 then read the rest of your post =p
  13. Try to give a hint or another pic of the same anime
  14. ...eh, I wasn't even able to figured out it was an engrish joke. ...so, it's like, 'causing trouble' became... 'chicken pastel'... ...Actually... What the hell? Brazilians making jokes about Koreans in English read by a French guy is just 2international4me. Oh well, move along folks, i'm closing this.
  15. I'm not closing this topic until I understand what the hell does that mean. /me confused.
  16. Yep, it does. Nothing was pulled out. You don't have to do anything to get them. They'll come up at the point of the story where they are supposed to be. You don't have to make specific choices to get them (well, aside from not getting a bad end). It does. Realta Nua is the ps2 version of the game. This version had no h-scenes but was voiced and had a few extras. Realta Nua patch means the voices were extracted from the ps2 game and patched onto the PC game. All scenes but the h-scenes will now have voices. eh?
  17. Well, if that can help you further enough, Tay's statement is incredibly right. Like, if you stop ONE day, you're done for. That already happened twice to me when I started to learn the kanjis. You can maybe survive one day where you really couldn't do a single kanji by making efforts the following days and cutting back on numbers, but skipping more than one is almost certainly leading you to stop. Pretty sure it's a joke. I'm not exactly sure about what he's referencing to though =p If what I recall serves me well, imaginative memory is not about being creative. It's about using your ability to link ideas. Basically, you don't have to be creative - you don't even HAVE to come up with a real story like the ones he describes. What you have to do is to find something in the kanji that helps you remember it. Like, the most classic one: 休: hey, this kanji represents a person (人) lying on the side of a tree (木) ! He's slacking off -> it means 'to rest'. Of course it's not always that easy to do, but it's all about making things fit. Sometimes the components put together won't fit the global sense. For example, when I see 紙, which means paper. I see 糸 and 氏, which is more or less 'thread + clan/family'. When I see that, I think "what the hell, this is completely unrelated". Then I link 'completely unrelated' with 'paper' and I find back the meaning: paper! That sounds a really stupid/stretched way of thinking, but that's why you have to come up with that kind of things on your own. Basically, all you have to do is making links between ideas. Instead having 'you seeing the kanji' trigger the direct idea linking with its meaning, the idea is to trigger something. One link. Then that thing will link with other ideas and lead you to the meaning. That sounds complex but for people whose memory strength is idea linking it's extremely effective.
  18. There are several problems listed above, could be more precise about what exactly is yours? Plus, read the sticked post of the forum and provide us with required info (ie system info + what you already tried to make it work + where did you dl it from) I'm not sure the Fuwanovel torrent have been fixed, so you might want to try dling the game from other links above too.
  19. Yeah, I decided learning japanese was faster than waiting for translation to maybe come out some day... Which means that maybe I'll read it in a year or so ;_;
  20. I thought about making one since I pretty much know the game by heart, but then I thought it would be rendered useless in 1-2 years because of remake that might change stuff... But if you want to do it I don't think anyone is. --- By the way, I was thinking about replaying Kagetsu Tohya in the upcoming weeks, I wondered if anyone thought it would be useful to have a walkthrough of that? There are no routes but the side stuff can be sometimes quite hard to get.
  21. Hisui's route does have a little weak part, in the middle of the story... But, man, you HAVE to finish this route. Like, REALLY. You don't know half of what's going on in Far Side of the Moon if you didn't play that. Kohaku's route is like a wrap up route, it's quite short so might as well play it too. (That and Kohaku is such a great character)
  22. Thank you Skeith for another nicely done walkthrough!
  23. Haha, don't worry. People judge so much on the art nowadays, this can't be successful no matter how good the story could turn out to be. I can't see rotoscoping becoming successful anyway.
  24. We discussed about it a bit in the spring season topic. Ryoji liked the art because it reminded him his good ol' 70s anime. I'm not sure about the art cuz I didn't read the manga, probably going to see both, but I'm definitely curious about where the currently non-existing story will go to. I've read some people that think the art fits the spirit of the story. I've read others saying it ruined the manga. The whole of MAL hates it. /a/ makes a buzz about it because it's /a/. Well, as you see, I don't know if it'll be a commercial success but it did success in making people talk about it =p
  25. Nope, you're not. I mean, Sacchin route man. And if Arc lost her trademark long skirt which is kinda bad, Ciel and Akiha design (imo) improved.
