  1. But honestly, Rin is my favorite. Kud is a close second, though. I can't believe I still haven't watched the anime yet, I should really get around to that~ Kud > Rin, but Rin's a close second
  2. I'll toss my vote in for Kud. Her adorable cuteness aside, I remember a surprisingly strong presence of mind and maturity belonging to her. EDIT: Also, just noticed you want all-time cutest character in a VN...I have to stand by my sweet kitsune, Suzu from Ayakashibito.
  3. That's going to be a pretty strong change of pace, that's for sure lol. But it is a good read. But yeah, you'll need to brace yourself a bit. Decided to try Snow Sakura - noticed Decay reading it a little while back and figured I'd give it a shot. It's okay at first glance, though I'm not very far at all yet.
  4. Watched Plastic Memories a few days ago - now I just can't get it out of my head. I felt the pacing was off, and that they dragged out some things a bit too much, but I still loved the show overall. Strongly hoping for more seasons, I think the setting has a lot of potential, if they explore aspects of the show not really touched on (or had only briefly). I like to imagine that first season as a introduction to most of the main cast. huge spoiler, you've been warned But eitherway, I think this show can take any direction it wants and do well. Here's hoping.
  5. Finished reading Mio's route in Koi ga Saku Koro Sakura Doki, thus completing everything currently translated. EDIT: btw Eclipsed, I approve of your current avatar, nice choice
  6. Interesting food for thought - esp. because one can easily substitute the examples listed about general gaming, into the current indie VN scene. Not a huge fan of the guy, but it's a well expressed piece.
  7. I can count at least 9 or 10 times I am certain I've experienced that. Never anything amazing, usually it's been some unremarkable event or moment - but like some have already said, it often involves people I did not yet know (in the dreams). My personal theory? Our perceived concept of time is wrong, and our subconscious minds simply have a better handle on such things. Completely groundless, but it's my closest suspicion.
  8. Awesome! I had the ps3 version - but if they do a proper pc port, it could do the game some real justice. A new age of lolis pawns await.
  9. Bleh, I shouldn't let such jabs bother me anyway - it's the internet - it's gonna happen. Just a bit cranky today I guess. A-and you did provide some insight regarding Xuse, I admit.
  10. Snip! EDIT: . Sorry to have gone so offtopic Decay. Regardless, hope you're right, and it comes out soon(ish).
  11. Coco was my favorite character, but Angelina was a close second.
  12. My personal concern is if the combat is similar to Aselia - it would make multiple playthroughs pretty tedious after a while. Though this looks a lot newer, so hopefully it's a needless worry. Enjoyed Yumina as well as Aselia (first 4 playthroughs ), so I'm looking forward to it.
  13. Access to information allows for a more stable understanding of a situation, and better planning - regardless of the subject. Not "being the cook" is irrelevant, it gives insight on the cooks behaviour, how skilled they are, and if they have any habits they fall into on a consistant basis. "can I trust this cook?" With SP being the core example in this case, it can give consumers a idea how SP operates as a business. A company that can't keep a firm handle on its own internal timetables and deadlines will rarely have the respect of a consumer (cough Jast cough). Another thing to consider, is that a consumer is also a potential investor. Who in their right mind would want to invest in a company that cannot provide confident, and regular reports on the level of productivity going on with each project under its umbrella?
  14. Back on topic though, starting to read koisakura, so far I'm content with it's style. Looks like it has some potential.
  15. For sake of argument, let's say I look at progress reports and gauge the rate something is being worked on. I can then make a rough guess at when it can be expected to release. (barring some unforeseen stall or spurt) And then plan out when to have extra cash set aside. There is nothing trivial about progress reports, they are used both in commerce and business all the time to monitor and evaluate trends.
  16. Hopefully just growing pains of a new company. Still, a little more transparency would definitely go a long ways.
  17. Ah Xseed is handling it huh? I'd rather them finish up SC anyway if that's the case. Though it also means aside from emulation, PC won't see Corpse Party for at least another 3 - 4 years. (depending on their priorities)
  18. blows dust off the thread Has anyone heard anything about G-Senjou? Seems to have completely dropped off the radar~
  19. is there a pc or console version? Or just handheld?
  20. Pretty much. There is a special place in hell for AJ Tilley already. So, I generally trust his word as far as I can throw a bus. That being said, it seems realistic enough to be accurate. Steam seems to make a fairly serious effort to adhere to every regions laws thus far when it comes to content issues (just look at games that are locked for some countries, and not others).
  21. That's exactly how I feel about it, lol. I feel so let down. =/ Maybe I'll switch to the LN~
  22. Second season of Log Horizon, episode 13. I don't think the writers know what they are doing anymore. -_-
