Hmm, only thing I can think of, is if you have them placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Tsukihime\CD\ directory? (or wherever you have the game installed) I would assume so, since you followed the guides etc, but figured i'd check. In truth, the music isn't anything great - but it still adds atmosphere.

Have you tried to play the converted .oggs? they should play just like any other music file if done properly. If for some strange reason the system cannot play them, it either means they didn't convert properly, or perhaps you just need to install a codec pack (or at the very least, a player like VLC) for them to play.

I agree it's a matter of comfort. I mean, everything "i've" read and watched (that is anime or VN based), is all based on japanese settings. So it feels natural for the medium to possess the traits. I fully realize it doesn't need to be restricted to it - but it just somehow feel more familiar, if for no other reason then because it matches my previous experiences. That and I've come to like aspects of their culture - I woulden't go so far as to call myself a weeb, but I do find it more interesting then my boring country/customs. I mean, who really wants to read/watch something that is set in the society they spend most of their daily life? I do this to escape reality, not hammer it home. But maybe i'm weird like that. Personally, I don't see the big problem people have with western titles matching a japanese setting, if one doesn't like it then they don't have bother with it (or even better, go make their own works)- there are those that will like it regardless~ It seems like a non-issue to me. do you lke big tits or small? Neither is right or wrong, its just a difference of opinion.

I'm all for it, but I worry about what kind of attention it may draw. It's one thing for it to exist "in the shadows" but for it to be so accessible (well, admittly no less then a google search for porn)...it may cause some noise among moral knights and prudes.

I call false advertising if there ends up being no actual "water sports" (giggity) involved. You know, it's funny, I honestly think if they went just a bit further and released these as +18 - they would have at least "that" going for it instead of "almost-porn but doesn't deliver". But they wont, because let's face it, they don't NEED to market anything on Steam, it markets itself - some +18 titles on a random internet site is alot less likely to get hits. it doesn't exist :3 I was cheating abit - it's true it's a style I look for, but a more accurate format would be "Unlockable Routes" and "One True End" paired together for any given title.

That's quite the thick list - I'm the sort that can only read one vn at a time, or else I feel like I lose some of the atmophere from it if I switch between them. Those are all some really good titles though (even alchemy meister - though, more for the gameplay then the story )

I hope you continue, tbh. I don't know Japanese so I've always kept track of your reviews as a rough gauge to wether or not I would be interested in a title being localized. Though I never take anyone's opinion as fact until I've had a chance to read something for myself, I find your praises and complaints are often in sync with what I look for - and at the very least that nudges my interest to a extent. But, what really matters if you want to keep doing it, all in all.

There's a usually hidden save for that kind of thing, it keeps track of all the paths completed.
