Introduction
Welcome, fellow Fuwamembers, to the FuwaRecognition thread. Starting this March, we’ll be highlighting some of the best contributions made by our members each month. From snazzy blog articles to delicious forum threads, and perhaps even a few things more on the shitpost part of the spectrum, we'll keep an eye out for the cream of the crop. And then we'll gather them here. Just for you.

First, I should state that I'm avoiding the after stories for now, simply because I'll want to see them for the first time immediately after replaying the original game, rather than over a year after I originally played it, when my memory for details has faded as much as it has right now. As such, this post will focus on the Ayaka and Mina paths that were added on for this fandisc release.

The common route covers a summary of the events that happened in the first game and
No Reality and Chain Ushinawareta Ashiato are masterpieces of the month, but No Reality is the best.

Not sure what it's doing here. Just an RPG Maker...
Warning: Major spoilers for the original Doki Doki Literature Club ahead!
The viral success of Doki Doki Literature Club in late 2017 sent shockwaves throughout the visual novel world, sparking some highly polarized reactions. While many hardcore VN fans dismissed the game as shallow and expressed irritation towards the over-the-top praise it received, Team Salvato’s project had a lot going for it and quickly gathered an enormous fanbase. Excellent use of visual and sound gimmicks and brill
Foreword: I only got sort of interested in Femme Fatale as prequel of Edelweiss and as a part of chaotic production of Inspire company. Detective mystery game should be a safe bet for an interesting story, right?

Wow, there are a lot of VNs being released for February this year that aren't nukige... this happens occasionally, but usually it is four or five games. A few major names got concentrated into this month, as well as a bunch of games by new companies or new subsidiaries. To be honest, from my point of view, despite the fact that this is my birth month, there isn't much to look forward to. There is a new VN in the Shuffle universe here, but with Agobarrier, the universe's father, deceased, I c
While Japanese VNs are the prime source of inspiration for most EVN developers, some Western games, such as Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, also have a significant influence on the Western VN scene. This inspiration is pretty obvious when we look at the stylistic choices and main themes of Perseverance: Part 1, a debut title by the Polish studio Tap It Games, released on Steam in late July 2018. As you can imagine, this episodic release involves surviving an outbreak of a mysterious disease
Studio Elan, and I refuse to copy and paste the accent mark like they do on their Twitter account, bursts out onto the EVN scene with their long awaited debut visual novel, Heart of the Woods. A mix of Ghost Adventurers, fluffy yuri relationships, and a magical elements, Heart of the Woods is an ambitious showcase of talent wrapped up in a tightly woven tale of love and sacrifice.
From the very beginning of this roughly 4-6 hour long VN, Heart of the Woods sets a tense tone that pers
There aren't masterpieces this month, but I evaluate Sapphism no Gensou higher than any other game this month. Wanted to review it myself, but there are too many English reviews already from the yuri army. I'll be playing Femme Fatale since it's the prequel of Edelweiss that I have certain hopes about.

The Uso series is the original series of kinetic novels made by Campus based in a school campus where magic and mundane exist in parallel. The protagonist of the Uso series, Sakurai Souichirou, is the head of the Cat's Hand Club, which is a jack-of-all-trades club that will take on just about any request, as long as the individual is willing to pay the price. However, that is merely the open face of the club, which has the purpose of gathering magical energy from the emotions of those whose re

As for the title, because we have Mangagamer did announce release date for Lilycle (March 14th) I decided to made a title based on 'Idolmaster Cinderella Girls' anime version. Only that we have Cinderella replaced by Lily, because Lilycle is all-age GL girl and we should knew that lily flower is associate with GL (Or shoujo ai if you prefer that). Another reason is that because some of Lilycle
Smee games are usually high quality and very similar. Cute heroines with a funny plot and little moments of seriousness is their usual pattern. I tried to like Sugar*Style really, unfortunately I didn't like it that much.
The gimmick in Sugar*Style is you can select what your protag is good at and you can also inspect the room of the heroine. I didn't like how they played that gimmick it felt really tacked on. Unlike Making*Lovers, the gimmick here has more impact but it didn't really feel,
Foreword: April 2001 had zero visual novels to interest me. After long torments of what to choose, I stopped at Handle With Care. It's a serious musical band story, so I expected Kira☆Kira, just more serious. Should Kira☆Kira tremble at the sight of its rival that came 6 years before?

For those of you who are curious, I played this VN on a request from an old friend who wanted an opinion before he bought it (I already had the game, just hadn't opened it). This game is relatively short, being a kinetic novel, but that doesn't detract from the experience at all, at least in my eyes.
Now, I was skeptical about the concept of a VN focused on romance between a middle-aged guy and a girl in school... for one thing, it is a theme that has been mostly avoided like the plague ou
…And you probably know about it already if you know me, but anyway, my own #brand is Memeshii Translations apparently. Since you’re here, have some information on the experience of working with the paltry tools available:
*The linecount had to be the exact same or the insertion tool would crash with an unhandled exception.
*Some lines had a linebreak in the original; these were joined together engine wise so they had to be line broken no matter what. Usually this wasn’t a problem, but some lin

Welcome back to EVN Chronicles, your prime source of romantic fluff reviews and recommendations! Today, I present you a post that will either capitalize on the post-Valentine's Day atmosphere by providing you even more positive feels, or help mend your lonely heart with quality love stories! Romance, as we all know, is one of the driving elements of visual novels in general, and maybe especially within the niche that is particularly close to my heart – and that is, of course, yuri. Recently, I'v
There aren't masterpieces this month. But closest to it is Mizuiro . I will review Handle With Care..

Sorceress Alive is a game that tries to emulate a pattern similar to MLA. Introduce characters in a generic setting so that it is easy to understand for readers, also serving as an introduction to the world. Downsides of patterns like that is you really have to endure playing something generic for the best part to come. Sorceress Alive does that pattern well albeit with some glaring weaknesses, if those weakness were solved, I wouldn't hesitate to call this one of the best fantasy VN's I played.
Sayonara o Oshiete has a good number of English reviews (1 2 3), plus reddit comments (4), but what strikes me is that all of them are positive despite some noticed flaws. But as a plotge fetishist and pragmatist to the bones, I demand demolition of fake idols. This bastion shall fall today.

I recently got the impulse to go back and replay Eien no Aselia, which sat at the top (mostly by inertia and alphanumeric reasons) of my vndb votes for so long. Eien no Aselia was one of the final games I played in English before I took the dive into Japanese untranslated VNs, and I hadn't replayed it since, though I played Seinarukana within a year of entering the labyrinth.
Eien no Aselia is one of those few 'oldies' I found hadn't lost anything vital in the years since I last played it.
This would be my first blog post so yeah.. As I said in the description of the blog, this is more of my thoughts so it might be unorganized unlike a review.
I thought this was another generic Isekai but I heard a lot of people praising it for the Alive routes. The game has two parts, the Sorceress and Alive routes. A lot of people have said that Alive was really great so I was willing to play the trope-filled Sorceress routes just to experience that.
Now on to the game itself.

Foreword - Still no VNTS, so here's another VNTS Review here and I hope you'll enjoy the review here.
I believe that you'd remember the infamous Miagete that was censored for the overseas release (Thanks to Pulltop's policy) when you see the chapter title (I'd use 'Star-Weaving Future Dream Arc' titling because we have Touko's Patch from Hoshiori released), and you're right about that because I'd use Miagete English name as the title for the new chapter here. As for the reason of the chapte
