Irotoridori Kickstarter by Sol Press Funded at over 85k
littleshogun replied to yelsha57's topic in Visual Novel Talk
At least we didn't have dinner with Kazuhiro Shida as the prize, because I remember that Koropukkur did have one and it looks unrealistic to me (Who want to have dinner with VN illustrator (Admittely well known one) anyway). Okay the goal was definitely higher than both of their previous Sol Press VNs at 85,000, which is almost three times of Newton VN KS (At 2.7 times). Not to mention that it's only for the first VN, and if we remember we have Irotoridori as the trilogy (VNDB set Hikari as FD though) so Sol Press decided to add stretch goal to Hikari (170,000) and Akai (245,000), which obviously would be very tall order to have all trilogy to be translated. I just wonder if Favorite VN would be better left as fan translation instead of officially localized, because from what I saw apparently Favorite ask too much money for the localization cost there. It's just my assumption though, so I may be wrong on that. Good luck to the KS, and I hope it'll be successful. -
Welcome to Fuwanovel, and don't worry much about your English here (It's fine enough to me). Feel free to ask.some recommendations here if you need it, and I hope that you'll have a good time in here. PS - Sorry for the belated greeting here.

9 -Nine- Episode 1: Hoshizora Miyako Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Foreword - No VNTS again, so you know what it means (I'll write another my own VNTS Review here). Either way, I hope that you'll enjoy this week VNTS Review even though I'm quite late here. Since yesterday we have Chinese New Year, I'd been quite busy for two days beforehand so I'm sorry for being late here. Also happy Chinese New Year to anyone else who celebrated it, including me. As for the title, since we have Nine first part released I thought that it would be the best to parodied Nine first episode along with both of the main heroines of that work (Kujou Miyako) and Smile PreCure (Hoshizora Miyuki) into the combined name '9 -Nine- Episode 1: Hoshizora Miyako' because both of their character designer (Izumi Tsubasu for Miyako and Kawamura Toshie for Miyuki) work together in Mashiro Iro Symphony anime, and more importantly both of Miyako and Miyuki did share same seiyuu (Fukuen Misato). My ramble aside, I really like that finally Sol Press did their move on both of their rather big announcements (Irotoridori Kickstarter (KS) and Hitotsuba release) and that they already aggressive on that so we should be more interested with them in the future. Other than Sol Press big move, we have usual fan translation updates along with some updates from Nekonyan so let's see what I can write for this VNTS Review here. First of all I knew that Pulltop did delay their release for their Konosora FD into February because they'd await Steam approval, which is we knew is been indecisive in regard of the censorship. My feeling in regard of that was quite mixed to be honest because while this could be a good slap for Pulltop to not release their work on Steam and started to sell their uncensored VNs on any other store (Beside Steam), this announcement could also mean that some developer would be over censor their localized VNs in order to fulfill Steam's indecisive censorship policy. In the end while I didn't look forward to Konosora FD much, I just hope that we still can see more VNs on Steam despite some happening like HGB and Konosora FD here. We also have Noraneko release announcement here, and let's just said that we better wait for Senren Banka because the three heroines of Noraneko did share same seiyuu as Senren Banka (Kirihana, Sendai, and Kotori Yuka). One more reason for that is because it'll be censored according to the opening that I saw in which they use seiyuu's real name instead of their pseudonym (I did see that they list 'Eri Sendai' instead of 'Haruka Sora', in which the latter is Sendai's pseudonym in the eroge's credit), which mean that they'll release PS4 version instead of the default 18+ version. Let's just hope that they uploaded the wrong opening (Because they deleted the opening) and that they'll release 18+ version later, because I can see that the team could fix their mistake in regard of their introduction intro at their website so at least they should be able to hear some feedback from the fans. From Sekai we have Nine first episode released with the premise the MC who is full voiced (His seiyuu is Atsuhi Abe if you curious) did caught up in mysterious incident case, and while at it he encountered some people with superpower. While this is definitely a VN with interesting premise and have the art drawn by Izumi Tsubasu to boot (The art is very good), it's quite unfortunate that Nine here is the episodic VN which mean that currently the story is still incomplete although from what I see apparently each episode will cover one heroine. In this case the main heroine for the Episode 1 here would be Kujou Miyako who is a rich businessman daughter and yet she's like to live humbly and very calculating when spending the money. In any case, we need to wait for 2020 (Estimation) if we want to enjoy it fully because even Palette didn't create the 4th episode yet, and even longer if we rely on the translated version like us because we wouldn't know if Sekai will announce the rest of Nine here (They should announce those parts if they want to sell the complete story). Have fun to anyone else who already been interested into Nine, despite that it's still the first chapter. From fan translation, we have Eustia was at 65.82% translated along with 45.86% edited and 44.47% TLC-ed, Harugi's overall was at 55% translated with Shino's route was at 96% translated and Branch was at 47% translated (Along with 47% TLC-ed) - I'm kind of curious of how the progress will be going after Shino's route is finished, Watamasu was at 42% translated, Higurashi Yoigoshi's patch was released and the current progress for Tokihogushi was fully ported, 4,719 lines from Pure x Connect were translated along with 1,258 lines of it were edited, Relaxation Yuka was at 66.46% translated, and Hoshiori's overall was at 70.84% translated with Touko's route was fully translated (We may have Touko's patch at this weekend, although I didn't know for certain though). I think that's all for fan translation updates. We have some updates from Nekonyan, in which we have Fureraba FD as their next release. As for their other updates, we have Aokana was at past halfway (60%) translated along with 20% edited and Sukiren was reach 90% mark translated along with halfway edited. From Sol Press we have Hitotsuba exact release date in which they'll release it at 15th later so at least we can treat it as Valentine's gift from Sol Press, and they already set the store at Steam (Good that it's still not banned) so you should pre-order that if you interested with the VN. I admit that the costumes were not as interesting as Aokana, but perhaps this one could be interesting seeing that it involving plane fight as the in-game fictional sport so that you can try Hitotsuba while we waiting for Aokana (Quite fitting seeing that Hitotsuba has been called as the second Aokana). For the biggest news from Sol Press, we have them set up the KS for Irotoridori with rather sizeable base goal at 85,000 with the stretch goal was to released two FDs (Or sequels) at 170,000 for Hikari and 215,000 for Akai. I knew that some people did treat Irotoridori as trilogy, but apparently Favorite did sell Hikari as the FD. As for the release estimation, it'll be at December 2021 later which while I think it's too long actually it's quite reasonable time frame because it'll took many times to translate all of trilogy there. Personally I'm fine with the first part only though because it's been too much dying projects there, although obviously it's very good if Sol Press want to translate all of the trilogy. Good luck to the KS there and I hope it'll be successful for the sake of the one who wait for Irotoridori. As for the current funds, right now the KS managed to gather 28,277 out of 85,000 which is quite good for the first part here. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next time. -
The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Another update, and here's the update below. Common: 100.0% Sora: 0.0% Marika: 100.0% Natsuki: 0.0% Misa: 100.0% Rikka: 100.0% Touko: 100.0% Total: 70.84% Also as Irru said, there's still no Touko's patch yet but hopefully there'll be one before next weekend. That's all for this week update. -
Like Dreamysyu said, you should wait for both of Minagoroshi and Matsuribayashi here because those two chapters will solve all of Higurashi's mystery and the storyline for all of the characters (Outside additional character that was introduced in the side stories that is). For more word here, unlike Meikyuu and Rakuen those two last Higurashi chapters is important to the whole stories and the simple reason is that because Higurashi here is not a charage (Not to mention that each chapters were ended with very bitter note), so you can accept the battle at Matsuribayashi there compared to Rakuen.

Well then let's just see of how fierce the plane battle will be going then, because it mean that we could have some awesome match in there. -
Irotoridori Kickstarter by Sol Press Funded at over 85k
littleshogun replied to yelsha57's topic in Visual Novel Talk
We still don't know how much thoygh because we didn't have Prefundia, but maybe it could reach 200,000 if they want to do all of the trilogy (At least it's easier to treat the 2nd and 3rd part as FDs compared to Grisaia because even VNDB treat it like that). If anything, I just hope that we can get Irotoridori in one way or another (Even if they only manage to have the first part, it's okay). I'll comment more on the KS when Sol Press announce it later. -
I would say that that kind of thinking is wrong, because kamige is very subjective matter and thus none VN that could be categorized as kamige without flaw. I admit that you raise a point that the plot was controversial, but I think it appeal a lot of people out there. So I would suggest that you can read some VNDB posts there to know why it's got high rating and appeal a lot of people, and of course if you still did find that it's not acceptable it's okay (You can say that the execution is very flawed).

Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart English Release
littleshogun replied to Antera's topic in Visual Novel Talk
True enough, although in the end you still trapped in the hype though that Chaos Child is the 'kamige without flaw' expectation (I understand though). As for the VA credit, they listed the real name instead of the pseudonym (ie listed Eri Sendai instead of Haruka Sora for the cast), so at least you can be sure that there's no sex scenes because the seiyuu will use pseudonym in eroge and real name in all age VN. I would be surprise though if they manage to add sex scenes, but seeing that there'll be a lot of more interesting release (ie Senren Banka) I'll probably just skip this for now. -
I would say that I did find the Reddit comment on Chaos Child was quite interesting, so let me comment on that a bit. Sorry for the rambling above. As for Chaos Child if you wonder why it did get high rating in VNDB, then you may as well try to answer why some people like Himawari there. As for who is at fault, well it's probably Chiyomaru decision to add Sequel Hook to the VN itself (I would say that if we ignore the sequel hook, then Chaos Child is a complete VN here) so you better not wonder about that.

Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart English Release
littleshogun replied to Antera's topic in Visual Novel Talk
What I can say is that you better don't let yourself trapped in the hype, especially after looking at your Chaos Child experience. Also judging by the VA credit in the opening (They deleted it though), I did have very low confidence that they'll release 18+ version so you may as well just let this go. -
Quite surprising that Sol Press already opened their Steam store for this with the release date is very near (At 15th later), so I should give them some praise here. Anyway, while I did say that I'm not interested with this now that I look at it again perhaps it wasn't so bad there. That said, my word still the same though that this is the combination of Aokana (Fictional sport with detail rules), Haretaka (Four girls that could be romanced form the club alongside MC), and Konosora (Obviously the plane making). Here's the page to the Steam store, and I hope that Steam wouldn't banned this despite there's a risk of that because recently Steam being indecisive. Hitotsuba Steam store

9-nine-:Episode 1 coming January 31st
littleshogun replied to Fred the Barber's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Congratulation on the release, even though it's episodic and all (Palette should made this as full game imo). Well have fun with that, especially if you took a liking to Izumi Tsubasu art (Understandable). -
Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart English Release
littleshogun replied to Antera's topic in Visual Novel Talk
As for Noraneko here, the first release was 18+ version. Then it got popular, and thus they released it in PS4 and PSV. So the original version here is 18+ version, and I think they'll change the H scenes with appropriate scenes for Sony (Before they tightening the censor that is). As for Maitetsu, it's like Chrono Clock in which the sex scenes are separated from main game (Apparently), so you didn't need to play the sex scenes (The number of the scenes in Maitetsu is at around 44 scenes, although I may be wrong). -

I think I can say about this in one sentence: 'Just wait for Senren Banka release'. -
God will anything good be translated soon?
littleshogun replied to CarouselRose's topic in Visual Novel Talk
So what's your taste of the VNs there? Just curious. PS - If you want something interesting, then perhaps you can try Shibuya Scramble and Baldr Force. You can aso try Hello,good-bye (HGB) here (I seconded it). -
Ummm.... release 18+ version of Lovekami spinoffs to Steam maybe, because I saw that Steam did allow Funbag Fantasy to be sold on Steam lol. For serious answer Pulltop should broke their contract with AGM and approach the third party for the translator, such as Mangagamer or JAST (Like I said those two did have some connection with Pulltop) and release their VN in 18+ (Without the help from fickle Steam if I may add). That said, I don't know though whether I should wary for the VN company will not be able to use Steam like in the past or I should be thankful for them to 'slap' Pulltop (Obviously Pulltop will censor even further). But perhaps if I may estimate here, perhaps I'm more like 28% wary (Well the company can still use their own store, although it mean that more VNs will be censored to accomodate Steam's indecisive censorship), 22% thank Steam with some irony (Poor anyone who want to read Konosora FD), and 50% would be just move on (It's the FD after all). Note that the number is just my estimation, so you don't need to care about that lol.

Hello Good Bye English Release (January 25th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
As for HGB, I guess the best way to enjoy this would be just expected Kajitsu mixed with Sharin instead of full action VN, in which both VN did have a lot of slice of life moment. That said, some element might be interesting though so you may be patient with that. PS - I did wonder if my laptop can run HGB here, and the answer is yes although the opening couldn't be played though (Must be because of my laptop is already old). -
Maitetsu VN Discussion (Released at June 29th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
So between Hachiroku's and Hibiki's I see. Although seeing that Hachiroku's is the best route, perhaps it would be better to save it for the last. So perhaps it would be the best to finish Hibiki' s first, even though Paulette was more interesting with not so suble hint in regard of her past with Sotetsu. In the end, my play order here would be Hibiki > Reina > Hachiroku > Side Routes and I'll plan my play order for side routes later. As for my favorite, I think all three of them have interesting approach to their situation around them so it's hard to tell which is the best girl. But if you talk who's the girl that I would like the most it should be Hachiroku seeing that she's very loyal to Soutetsu, have more prominence in common route (Because she's the main heroine), and her voice is resembled Nene (Not important). Keep in mind that I may change my favorite in the future though. -
As for the evil route Note that I don't know if it's really like that or not, but more or less the story was going like that from the spoilers that I gathered.

Welcome to Fuwanovel, and sorry for the belated greeting here. As for otome, it's not my cup of tea so I can't give you some recommendations, but you can ask to another members though if you want to try something new (Perhaps you can try Steam Prison later). I hope that you'll have a good time here, and good luck on your job as moderator in CloudNovel there.

Hello Good Bye English Release (January 25th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I did make the poll, so feel free if you want to vote on this. As for my first look, no much to say other than May's voice is sounds like Eruru as expected and that some of BGM have vocal.
