As for the recommendations, I would like to seconded Chaos Child here and while at it I can recommend you to try Chaos Head as well. Or if you want new recommendations then you can try I/O as well, and if you didn't mind murder mystery then you can try Kara no Shoujo duolgy (And Cartagra as well). I hope that my recommendations here would be helpful to you.

Star-Weaving Future Dream Arc Chapter 4: Wagamama High Spec
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Foreword - Still no VNTS at 2019 here because admin Tay was still missing leaving the webpage remain unfixed, so here's my first VNTS Review for this year and I hope you'll enjoy this. Welcome to my first VNTS Review for 2019 here, and as for the first VNTS in this year to be blunt it's very dry seeing that there's almost no updates from official localization companies. Of course it mean that at least we still have some usual update from fan translation, albeit only usual one. Speaking about the fan translation updates, this week title was reflecting the first update from Tsurezure at 2019 and seeing that Trip started his work on Touko's route it mean that the pattern title will be 'Star-Weaving Future Dream Arc', and the VN in question for this chapter would be Wagahigh. While at first I chose Wagahigh because the writer for Touko's route is the same one as one of Wagahigh writer (Nissy), this review made me think that Wagahigh here would be more fitting title seeing that Touko here is like someone who want to get her own way at first (Her first song even have 'Wagagmama' word), and that she have excellent talented because otherwise she wouldn't getting scouted into becoming the club member after she defeated all sports club captains in the school. My rambling about Wagahigh meaning aside, let's see what update that we have for this week even though once again it's quite lacking. Seeing that Steam got active to remove another store page for this nukige, safe to day that there's no December release so we must wait longer if we want to purchase it - not that it didn't make official release is less redundant seeing that we already have one released as fan patch beforehand. We also have estimation date of Majokoi from the leaked picture here at Q1 of this year, although seeing that we still didn't have the announcement from Sekai yet (Not to mention that there's still no Steam store for this unlike Nanairo) perhaps we should wait and see until they'll announce it by themselves. We also have Pulltop announced the plan to release Konosora FD at this month, although unfortunately it might be not worth it though seeing that they decided to release the original version with the sex contents was cut (Their usual tactic) instead of releasing the console version (Cruise Sign) like back at Cross Channel (Translation issue aside) that did have Akari's route addition. What I can say is that while I knew that there's a reason of why Pulltop couldn't localize Cruise Sign easily, it's still their fault for not having the sex scenes localized. Almost forget to inform that Bell Chime for Gold spinoff Kickstarter was succeeded with the fund gathered was at around 220,000, so congratulation for that. As for fan translation roundup of updates, we have Yoigoshi was at 36% edited, Eustia was at 61.39% translated, Harugi's overall was at 42% translated with Shino's route was at 19% translated, Nursery Rhyme was at 55% edited, and Loverable was at 32.15% QC-ed. I'd forget to announced that Witch Garden project was dropped according to the translator at his forum post here, so it's quite unfortunate that we wouldn't get Witch Garden in English here (Hope that somebody will pick this in the future). For additional update here, we have Tsurezure did have translated Touko's route and that turned out Trip did some work on translation even after he did say that he took a break, and as for the progress as of now overall Hoshiori did past 60% mark (60.4%) translated with Touko's route was already at almost 40% (37.77%) translated which is quite substantial for the work that was done at the break. That's all for first VNTS Review at 2019, and sorry for once again quite short here. See you next week. -
The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Quite surprising (Or maybe not) that Trip is still working on Touko's route even with break and all, so it's definitely the good news here. Anyway here's the update for this week, or rather the first update for 2019 below: Common: 100.0% Sora: 0.0% Marika: 100.0% Natsuki: 0.0% Misa: 100.0% Rikka: 100.0% Touko: 37.77% Total: 60.4% That's all for the first update in 2019 here. -
Now that we'd established that the post is just copy paste from years of research meme (Honestly I just know about this), perhaps we can move this thread into more appropriate section. Like Coliseum of Chatter for the example. That said while both fandom did have that kind of divide, the scale is still very different though with Smash Bros here being very mainstream while VN is still just niche. Also the scope is very different with Smash Bros only have five games while I'm certain that we have more than five VNs (Either translated or untranslated), so the divide would not just ended with Aokana translated.

My top five visual novels for 2018 that I read.
littleshogun replied to Happiness+'s topic in General Discussion
While I understand that you'd disappointed by this, I'd find that it's quite tasteless if you said that you laugh at Kara no Shoujo 2 there as if you would say that the VN is so god awful that we better laugh at it instead of took it seriously (I'm sorry if you didn't think like that, but that's what I got from your wording here). While I understand that you find it quite lacking, perhaps we can say that it's because Innocent Grey here was intent to finished all of those hanging plot thread in the last part of the trilogy (Not a wise move admittely to make Kara no Shoujo as trilogy considering that the first part was already resolved the fate of main girl, but the company need to sell the game). Also as for Yukiko, I would say that she's more likely just the decoy main girl there, and as for the main girl of the Kara no Shoujo 2 it should be Satsuki for a lot of reason that I can't say here (Just watch the second opening and you should know why) although if you still dislike Satsuki as the main girl then it's okay. As for the topic, well I only finished six VNs and did try a lot of other VNs. So let me chose which five VNs that I finished below in no particular order. 1. Hatsukoi Sankaime - The first Indonesian language VN that I'd read, and both of Himeka and Misaki endings were satisfying enough to me. Although I did admit that there's some down though, namely that the best friend character were kind of bland and Sui's route didn't quite interesting to me. 2. Subahibi - I'm quite satisfied with the ending here, although admittedly there's some confusing things were happened behind the story. Also while I can follow the story well, I didn't like of how the writer resort to some questionable plot device in order to move the story. Oh and don't forget the mismatching time setting there, in which while it looks minor it could mean that there's some messed up coordination (Which may be the case if we took what one of the character did say as the author did express his situation). 3. Seabed - While the first half is quite slow, the second half is quite going fast. Also it's interestimg to see that we have 28 yo woman as the MC, and that the story did show some different PoV. As for the content, there's a lot of psychology talk so it should be interesting if you like that. 4. Sono Hanabira 11 - Other than Mai did have least development, I did like the crossover of Sono Hanabira here. I'm satisfied with all of the girls development here, and that the OG couple (Risa x Miya) is well developed enough with some conflict and drama. Also I did find Rena here is quite helpful as the teacher, where my first impression here is that she'll be a playgirl one lol. 5. Fureraba - I did like the opening, and that Yuzuyu here is very cute at her route. Himahima is quite different though compared to other childhood friend character, and it's quite a waste that we can't see of how surprised Tomomi would be when she find out that Himahima is Kyousuke's (The MC) childhood friend. Also good job for Nekonyan there as this is their first release. I guess that's all for the VN that I'd read back at 2018, and here's hoping for more interesting VN at 2019. -
Finished Wakana's route, and overall it's quite short compared to both of Tsumugi's and Touko's routes (Duh). The story itself is quite simple with Shuuji, Wakana, and Kaidou preparing for their concert at Halloween festival, and love was blossoming between the former two which started from when both of Shuuji and Wakana were accidentally bump their lips into each other. As for the next plan, I'll going with Meguru's route later like I'd say earlier. PS - Wakana's seiyuu name is Kotorii Yuuka or if we going with her real name is Takamori Natsumi. As for her role, she's Tachibana Ochiba from Astral Air, Hitachi Mako from Senren Banka, Sorakado Ao frm Summer Pocket, Inui Azusa from Tsujidou, Higashi Mashiro from Apeiria, Kusakabe Korona from Miagete, and Fuuma Yura from Nekonin.

Suki Suki aka If You Love Me Then Say So Released
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Here's another tester corner from Mangagamer, and it's pretty interesting with the opinion that said the route may hit or miss. I can't say much about the route for now though, other than my assumption that Chiho's route here might be just added because of the creative difference. -
Now that I got a lot of info in regard of STPC, let's just said that it make me more interested with that although I may need to watch it more carefully though seeing that the writer tends to write in a way that some dialogue may have hidden meaning (Not as extreme as Madoka).

Favorite BGM/soundtrack of a Visual Novel
littleshogun replied to Exult's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Currently like to hear Makeover opening song, so here's the full version of that. It's quite catchy to me by the way. As the bonus I'll also post Aoi Tori full opening here, in which it's quite contrast to Makeover opening that it's quite melancholic. I hope that you'll enjoy those two full opening there, and I'm also hope that someday we can get Aoi Tori in English (Preferably by Mangagamer). -
25 Visual Novels One Should Read In 2022
littleshogun commented on Yuuko's blog entry in Anti-Blonde Blog
Thanks to remind me of GPPC there with the school name is the same one, although I wouldn't be sure though if I can reread Kirikoi 13 times along with the FD 12 times (I'm sure that I would be sick with the blonde color by then lol). -
I'm looking forward into it, and looking from the graphic alone I think it's quite good. The casts were interesting though, if only because two of them were experienced in voicing the anime.

Suki Suki aka If You Love Me Then Say So Released
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'm started to think that Chiho's route here might be just added because of the difference creative between the writer and the director just like Mangagamer post did tell, and perhaps it would be better if I can see whether my assumption here is true or not. Let's see if I can comment about Suki Suki here later on. -
It's more or less like Larxe1 said, but if I may elaborate more it's not as bad as School Days considering that it didn't involved some bloody mess and messed up family setting, although you still can't avoid the love triangle though. As for first WA, I think it's quite good looking ftom VNDB average score although as far as WA2 concern, I think the development that happen between the two games were helped a lot and not to mention it took years to resolve. It also help thoght that the writer probably did put his effort into the writing alone, so that he can come up with the consistent settings. As for why first WA never got the translation, I guess it's probably because first WA was already completed enough from the anime alone, while WA2 only adapt Introductory and ended on a bitter note so naturally the fans were trying to translated the sequel of the Introductory (Closing Chapter).
-
It's still important to the plot by the way, and that the anime was only adapt the first part.

Hello Good Bye English Release (January 25th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Quite late to announce this, but as of now we have HGB pre-order store opened here which mean at least the release plan was still on track even with Steam throw some wrench by deleting the store page for it. If you get pre-order right now, you'll get the bonus in form of soundtrack album so if you want that than you can pre-order right now. -
As for my advice here, i would suggest that you can see the translation first. And if you find the translation is quite bad, then perhaps you better stay away from this. As for the patch itself, it's still incomplete because the Coda Chapter that was still unfinished, but I think the translation is serviceable enough. Oh and if you're the type that dislike love triangle with full of angst, then perhaps you better stay away from it because the main draw of WA 2 is the dramatic love triangle coupled with Haruki's (The MC) indecisiveness.

While at least we can make some excuse for Pulltop for not porting Konosora FD into the PC for overseas release such as the license, we can't say the same thing for Miagete here seeing that they still didn't have the Japanese version of that when it's the perfect time if they bring it to the Japanese first. While at least we can say that it's lucky that we got the cancelled version of all age port for Miagete, unfortunately we still couldn't get the original version of that and at the same time the all age version was already cancelled so the controversy is already there. Regardless the blame was still in Pulltop anyway because it's their decision, and thanks to that we still couldn't get the uncensored version of Pulltop VNs lol (Other than Princess Waltz). Speaking about all age, at least I can give Pulltop some slight praise now that they manage to release Umikana as their first all age, although if they rereleased it with sex scenes available then perhaps Pulltop was indeed a stubborn one. As for the topic here, well obviously I still didn't play this as of now but I think we can more or less just expect this as a moege with big breast goddesses lol just looking from the complete playlist at Youtube.

So yeah it's still too early to made this thread, but seeing that we have some members from Australia here I think it's thr right time for them here. Anyway happy new year 2019 for all of Fuwanovel users, and here's hoping for more fun in the future along with more VNs release either OELVN or translated.

Foreword - Still no VNTS because Decay's new busyness later and more importantly admin Tay is still missing. So here's my last VNTS Review for 2018 here, and I hope that you'll enjoy this. Since we have nurse nukige VN got released back at last week, I figure that it would be better if this week title should be 'Nurse's Service' simply because the nurse in the nukige was took special priority to service the MC (The nurse was MC's childhood friend), and that MC's situation was sort of the nurses's fault as well so the nurse felt responsible for that. While in real life it shouldn't possible because the nurse supposed to serve the patient equally, at least it's stated that the nurse served the MC after she was done with her works. Anyway welcome to the last VNTS Review at 2018, and first of all let me being blunt that the updates for this week was quite dry. But then again, perhaps we'll going to have many interesting releases at 2019 later and that we already have many big releases in previous weeks, so perhaps we should treat this week as the breather (Still quite unfortunate though that we didn't get the big releases from Sekai like back at the last year). Anyway let's see what I can write for this week as well. As for the updates from the official localization, we have one from Nekonyan. But before that let me report there's Tenkiame release at Steam, and let's just say that the release itself is less than ideal according to Doddler's tweets. What I can say is that if you felt interested and want to try it then go ahead, and at least it's not on the level of Your Diary looking from the screen alone so far. If anything at least they manage to release 18+ version on Steam despite of how their (Steam) recent behavior were quite confusing, and that you can get the 18+ contents directly unlike Your Diary (Hobibox charge around 1000 yen for Your Diary 18 patch). As for Nekonyan's updates, we have Fureraba fandisk were completely finished all of the translation progress (Including TLC and editing) with only QC left, Aokana was at 33% translated and 16% edited, Sukiren was at 70% translated and 30% edited, and currently HGB was almost finished the editing progress (At 95%) and halfway QC-ed. From fan translation, we have some surprising update though in which we saw Majikoi A-3 got a bit of progress and currently they'd translated 45 scripts files of it. For usual progress, we got Eustia was at 60.90% translated, Harugi's overall was at 39% translated with Miyabi's route was fully translated, Loverable was at 55.38% edited, and Yoigshi was fully translated with the editing process was abut to begin and the translator also said that he aim for January release. Asides from there's no Hoshiori update at this week because Trip took a rest for a week or two, we also have partial patch for Tamainin Asagi Zero that was released by Rattanman back at 25th as the Christmas gift. As for the patch itself, it did cover one third of the overall VN so go get the patch from his Tumblr page here if you want to try it already, although personally I wouldn't took my interest in this seeing that it's nukige and all. Well that's all for this week VNTS Review and also my last 2018 VNTS Review. Sorry for being short here, and see you next year. And here's hoping for more interesting VNs release in the next year.

The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Well I don't know if he'll quit or not after this, but in the end I guess it's up to Trip himself to decide that. Anyway, there's no update for this week so let me say happy early new year 2019 here, and let's look forward at Touko's progress in the next year. -
As for Misa's route, I think it would be better if we play that as the first route seeing that it's the lowest in one of the available review. Although perhaps the right word here would be rushed seeing that both of Ryousuke and Misa did have least interaction in the common route (I may be wrong about this), but in the end it's still interesting though with the things like Marinpia revival and more importantly no drama like HatsuKoi. As for Rikka's, it's believed to be the best route in Hoshiori here although in regard of other characters inclusion I'll see about it later. About in regard of whether it'll be better to learn Japanese or read it translated, I would say that you can read it translated (ie just wait for the full patch). PS - Still waiting for Touko's patch here because I decided to read her route next.
-
There's Evenicle for the most simple recommendation here, because you can't go wrong with harem ending when four of MC's companions were happened to be his wives as well. For other recommendations, you can try Sharin, Bunny Black 2 (And the prequel), and Duel Savior. If you want some untranslated VN, then you can try Kanobito. I hope that my recommendations here will be helpful to you.

Nekonyan's Two December Announcements
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Well I guess something is always happen in the middle of the waiting, and in this case the happening here is lost of interest. That said, as long as there's no interesting announcements compared to Nekonyan's announcements at 2019 later I think the hype is still there, albeit dampened because of the wait time. As for the idea of announce it before a week of the release, that sounds like a good idea but then again it might be not practical to the company themselves (I'm also curious about this matter as well). PS - It's still okay to talk about Sekai though, because Nekonyan founder is work for Sekai in the past and more importantly Senren Banka here is formerly Sekai's license. PPS - As for the feeling of when the released announcement wasn't as fresh as back when it was announced, I would say that it's quite normal if we felt burnout for the waiting. That said, I would say that you'll probably can still felt hyped if you keep focusing on the older announcements instead of distracted by new one.
