Foreword - Still no VNTS yet, so here's another VNTS Review from mine and once again I hope you'll enjoy it. I'm sure that we can recognize what I parodied at this week and in case you want confirmation it's Charlie's Angels, and in this case since we have Kaito as HGB's MC of course I did change 'Charlie' into 'Kaito' which is quite fitting considering that he have four girls who surrounds him (Charlie only have three though lol) with one of those girls is a spy. That parody aside, this is the most active week in January after being idle for three weeks here, so I like this. Other than HGB release by Nekonyan, we also have Irotoridori kickstarter announcement along with usual several updates from fan translation as usual. Overall while it's still the same as the last week, the big release from Nekonyan and Irotoridori KS announcement make this week more interesting. let's see what I can write for this week as well. First of all we have Nine episode 1 announced their release date at 31st later, in which it should be good if you looking forward to it. Although to me seeing that it's still the first part and Pallette planned to release this as the four parts VN (They have four heroines after all), I still didn't interested with this yet because it mean that we need to wait until we have four parts completed. In this case, perhaps it'll be at 2020 later if we want to see Pallette released all of the four parts of Nine in Japan, and for us who like to read Nine in English we must wait until 2022 (Note that it would be the case if Sekai keeping their good pace in working on Nine, and keep in mind that it may be changed). That said, I would say that you should try it seeing that Nine here is have the good art thanks to Izumi Tsubasu, especially if we knew that she's the character designer for Mashiro Iro Symphony. I bring this because recently I knew that Kawamura Toshie did the drawing for Mashiro anime adaptation, and I knew that Kawamura's drawing is beautiful according to majority of PreCure fan so at least I can say that Tsubasu art here would be close to Kawamura (Might be just my assumption though). From fan translation we have two nukige release, with one of those is a trap VN (Another one is a volleyball club nukige or something like that). While personally I wasn't the biggest fans of nukige here, I understand that some people may have different opinion on that so if you like to play those two nukige later (Especially the trap one) then have fun. Other than nukige releases, we have Eustia was at 62.12% translated, Harugi's overall was at past halfway (51.31%) translated with Shino's route was at almost three quarter (74%) translated, Watamasu was at 40% translated, Loverable was at 60.61% edited, and Hoshiori was at 68.87% translated with Touko's route was at 88.24% translated. There's some updates from Sol Press such as Onikiss was at 64% translated along with 40% edited, Shitsuaru was at 27% translated, and Kimiaogi was at 95% translated. My attention for Sol Press here is going to Irotoridori though, in which they'll do the Kickstarter (KS) at February 4th later. Considering that this is one of Sol Press biggest release, I wonder of how much base funds that they'll need. In any case, let's see it in their Prefundia later if they make it. There's also Nekomiko and Chaos Child Steam version release, although to me both of those were not interesting to me though with the former apparently have translation problem with the latter was redundant (At least it's cheaper compared to Committee of Zero version in which you didn't need to purchase both of PC version and PSV version with the latter to extract the scripts). Almost forget that we have Lamunation was at 70% translated, so at least it mean that the release time is almost close. The biggest release for this week is obviously HGB, or if you prefer the long name then Hello,good-bye. While at first there's some drama behind it namely that Steam banned this at Steam for some reason (People did assume that it's because HGB had high school setting and loli), in the end they still managed to release this even though Steam version was obviously still not released for obvious reason (I just hope that Nekonyan can still release their VNs in the Steam, especially Aokana). Also I like to note that HGB here already been delayed because it's supposed to be released at last year summer (I knew there's a reason for that), in which it's ironically very fitting for Australian seeing that it's summer at there. As for the premise, we have Kaito (Fake name) as the MC who was assigned to be a spy in a neutral zone. I said neutral zone because we have the setting that Japan did separated into two faction just like Korea, and that between two conflicted nation there's a neutral zone with the name Morino. From there we have own Kaito did his job while at the same time enjoy his school life, so if you ask me what's to expect from HGB then I will say just expect the school life in the unusual setting like Sharin instead of actions. Go get that at either Nekonyan's store, JAST, Denpasoft, Mangagamer, or Nutaku, and have fun. That's all for this week review, and sorry for the belated review here. See you next week.

The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai

Another update, so here goes. Common: 100.0% Sora: 0.0% Marika: 100.0% Natsuki: 0.0% Misa: 100.0% Rikka: 100.0% Touko: 88.24% Total: 68.87% Irru did say that they should finished the translation by the next week, although he couldn't be sure though that he can release it by the next weekend. Regardless of that, I think it would be nice though to get Touko's patch as Chinese New Year prize and it's even more fitting seeing that Touko's hair is red (If they want to take more time it's okay). That's all for this week update. -
Hello Good Bye English Release (January 25th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Steam issue aside, we finally have this release at Australian summer. Here's the tweet from Nekonyan for the proof below. Go get HGB from either Denpasoft, Mangagamer, JAST store, Nutaku, or Nekonyan's own store. Have fun wiyh HGB if you already buy it, and feel free to discuss this here. PS - While we have Myth Arc in regard of Kaito, I think it's still worth to make vote in regard of the girls so I'll add the polls later. -
Maitetsu VN Discussion (Released at June 29th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Okay then, and I'll take a note on that later. Currently already finished with common route, although right now I wonder whose route that I should take. And unfortunately there's no side routes opinion because we can only took that after finished the main route. -
The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
The choice is very simple here, because there's only one choice that determined the route (The one with six options and each option show the SD arts of the heroines). So you didn't need the walkthrough for this. -
Reading Ginharu Very Slowly #17
littleshogun commented on Flutterz's blog entry in Reading Ginharu Very Slowly
Thanks for the shoutout there. Anyway now that I took a look at Emir and tone work's male character, I think we find anther tone work's interest in which they like to draw handsome male (From the look) with glasses (Kishi and Sugiyama in HatsuKoi, Shuuchi in Hoshiori, Emir in Ginharu, and Tajima in the 4th VN (Tsukikana)). It's not like I have any problem with that though, just something that I want to point out here because the designer may like male with glasses. I like that in Ginharu we have more side characters get the sprites while at the same time keep the Hoshiori writing (Presumably), because while HatsuKoi here is infamous to be bad at the writing actually they did the good job for designing sprites for side characters while in Hoshiori we only saw three side characters got the sprites. Abut the image songs, I think they also learned from HatsuKoi as well in which they understand that they couldn't force the karaoke scenes for each heroines in order to promote the image songs (The image songs is good though and it's logical to have the heroine singing), so that they tried to insert when the story abut to enter the climax at Hoshiori (Except Misa's in which it's her mid ending song) and that apparently they decided to use Hoshiori's approach for Bethly's route here (I can't say about the other routes though). For the last word here, once again good commentary. -
SakuraGames announced Midori no Umi
littleshogun replied to Ronnie21093's topic in Visual Novel Talk
We have the sad news in which it's finally released at Steam. Here's the store page if you interested (Or just want to see how bad it is), and let's just use US$1 on something else instead of buy this. As expected it is censored, so there's more of the reason for not buy this. Edit - Apparently it did have the 18+ patch, so at least it's not censored like all other SG releases. The translation is still bad though along with missing graphics, so my point is still stands that you don't need to spend US$1 on this. -
Hello Good Bye English Release (January 25th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Seeing that Nekonyan already introduced the four heroines at their Twitter, I decided to introduce the heroines cast as well along with the VA/seiyuu commentary (A bit special case for HGB). 1. Yukishiro May - She's more or less a very kindhearted person, albeit an airhead one. Not much I can tell for now other than she's not very picky when it came to food so much that there's only two category of food for her (Delicious and edible). Her seiyuu is Ryouka Yuzuki, in which she's been well know for voicing Kiryuuin Satsuki from Kill la Kill, Arcueid from Carnival Phantasm and Melty Blood (Nabatame is still interesting VA for her even though she's voicing Arcueid in 'non-existence' Tsukihime anime), Eruru from Utawarerumono (Her tone should be the closest one to May), Yamanaka Ino from Naruto franchise, Nakuru Akizuki from Cardcaptor Sakura, and Minagi Tohno from AIR. 2. Saotome Suguri - Best friend of May, and at first mistaken Kaito as Suguri's childhood friend before beat him up for clear up the mistake. That said while the first impression of her may be not so good, actually she's kind as well albeit not as much as May. She's also the one who easily embarrassed every time she'd receive a praise, and that she's keep watching her calorie intake very much because even a small change in her scale could attract very different extreme reaction from her. Her seiyuu is Yuuko Gotou, also known as eternal 29 old woman. As for the roles, she voiced Fuyuo Kaede from Shuffle (No idea why the anime writer change her personality, so much that it's very vastly different), Tonya (Her full name is too mouthful) from Ayakashibito, Shikikagura Suzuhiro from Princess Waltz, Asahina Mikuru from Haruhi, Riannon from Tears to Tiara, and Mayuzumi Yukie aka Mayucchi from Majikoi. 3. Rindou Natsume - Her setting is that she's the lieutenant colonel in the military and that she's very capable in physical education. That said to balanced it, she's very easy to embarrass here because basically she's a shy person and that she always depend to Kaito to help her. While at first she didn't have any favorite food, after trying a cake in a cakeshop she became addicted with that and always want more. Her seiyuu is Akiko Yajima in which her roles are Shinosuke Nohara aka Shin-chan form Crayon Shin-chan (We obviously shouldn't expect his tone for Natsume here XD, and Akiko did retire for this role), Mipple from first Pretty Cure (FwPC), Diva from Blood+, and Himekawa Ayumi from Glass Mask 2005 version. 4. Hiiragi Koharu - A kouhai character that like to call Kaito dude Nii-san despite not being his little sister. She's quite knowledgeable in regard of the trivia, although most of the trivia would be underappreciated in real life though. Unlike the other three heroines, she did quite picky with the food in that she didn't want the food with little to none taste and that her favorite food is meat. Koharu's seiyuu is Kadowaki Mai, in which we should knew her as Illyasviel von Einzbern from Fate franchise. Other than Ilya, her roles are Aomi Isara from Koichoco, Mare from Hoshimemo, Reina from Maitetsu, Ayasaki Nanoha from Harenochi, Shikisima Kyou from Irotoridori, Sanya from Strike Witch, and Satomi Hakase from Negima. I think that's all for the heroines info here (More like seiyuu info though), and what I can say is that I'm looking forward for the release here. -
If we visit the Steam store page (Once again it's good that Chaos Child wasn't banned like HGB), we should knew that we have Chaos Child unlocked there. Go get the VN from Steam store if you still didn't play the console version or PC version, and have fun. PS - Looks like they really milking Steins Gate here (I understand though it's 5pb's survival instinct), because they add the sentence 'From the creators of Stens;Gate' at the vde begnnng.
-
As for Damekoi, I think it's understandable if you like Toko because she's more or less like Setsuna while Asami here is more or less like Kazusa (At least in my opinion). For other two side heroines, from what I see Himeno would be like Koharu and Mari combined while Kaya here is like Chiaki. I knew that both of Damekoi and WA2 are already different works here, but seeing that both works were came from the same author (Maruto Fumiaki) it's always interesting to see of how Maruto will expand Damekoi heroines characteristic in WA2 later. Also I like to say that I look forward to Damekoi English release (Hopefully at this year), and that once again Damekoi here was came before WA2 so you may find some idea was less refined compared to WA2.

Ojou-sama recommendation with a twist
littleshogun replied to shadowolf64's topic in Recommendations
The twins from Konosora (Asa and Yoru) can be counted as ojou-sama here, and if I did remember they focused more on the relationship rather than the parents approval. Maitetsu could be count as well, seeing that we have Paulette. You can also wait for Damekoi as well, seeing that one of the three side heroines is the ojou-sama. I hope that my recommendations here would be helpful to you. -
If you count VN RPG as chuuni VNs like mod Clepas did, then I would recommend both of Eien no Aselia and Seinarukana since both of those were duology. Other than that, both of Rance series (Especially VI and Sengoku) and Evenicle sounds like the good choices. Oh and since Nandemonai mentioned Steins Gate, let me recommend both of Chaos Head and Chaos Child here although it's more in line with mystery VN though (It's still fit because of the swords existence). For the last recommendations, I'll recommend you Umineko (And the sequel Chiru) here and even though it's a mystery VN you'll see why I recommend this later. I hope that my recommendations here will be helpful to you just in case you still didn't read those VNs.

Okujou no Yurirei-san Fullvoice ReBORN Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Foreword - Still no VNTS here, so once again I decided to make my own VNTS Review here. As usual I hope that you'll enjoy the review here. Seeing that we have Mangagamer did released Yurirei Full Chorus back at last Thursday, I decided to just add 'Fullvoice ReBORN' at the end of the full name of Yurirei here (Okujou no Yurirei-san) because it's what Yurirei Full Chorus really is if we boil down into it. For the explanation here, each time Liar-soft rereleased their partially voiced VN into full voiced VN (The example are Inganock and Sharnoth) they always add 'Fullvoice ReBORN' into the VN name, although this time they decided to change the titling for Yurirei though wth 'Full Chorus' (I knew that it's supposed to adapt the school setting that Liar-soft set in Yurirei and in turn made the titling idiosyncratic). Welcome to this week VNTS Review, in which other than Yurirei Full Chorus release we finally got some updates from Mangagamer and as usual we also got to knew what Mangagamer will release in the next month (Regardless of my interest) along with usual fan translation updates, so at least this week is slightly more active compared to the past weeks. Let's see what I can write for this week as well. There's surprising news from PQube that they'll release Chaos Child at Wednesday later, in which it's should be good if we want to get it legally because it's very expensive if we want to apply the available fan patch (We need Japanese PC version and PSV script if we want to apply it legally). Although in case some people already have the English version of Chaos Child PC here here, obviously the release will going to be redundant to them. That sad, if from Chaos Child entering Steam (Risk for being banned aside) we can have more interesting SciFi ADV available in English, perhaps it's the good news here. In an unrelated note, I start to see that 5pb really like to milk SciFi ADV (Especially Steins Gate) which in turn delaying the continuation of SciFi ADV main story (I knew that the main story scope is quite big, but still), although perhaps it's just my baseless assumption here. From Mangagamer we have Yurirei Full Chorus release, in which it's only Yurirei re-released that was already released back at 2016. Although this release did have full voice, so if you want to hear more voice in Yurirei you should get it because the original Yurirei here was only partially voiced. As for Yurirei, I think everyone was already knew that we'll going to have two ghost whose deeply in GL/yuri relationship that want to established as many as yuri couple in order to learn of how to express their feeling before going to afterlife, and that they decided to enlist the help from our female MC Yuna who understandably quite hesitant at first. Have fun if you want to replay Yurirei here or just want to play it for the first time (Go get the Full Chorus version if you want full voice here). Other than Full Chorus release, we also have Mangagamer did have their own updates. Before going to the updates, let me say that their next release (Steam Prison) is not quite interesting to me seeing that it's otome VN (And that my focus was on Mangagamer other queue list), although if you looking forward into it you can wait until February 14th later and treat it as the Valentine's gift from Mangagamer lol. As for the updates, we have Rance X was at 22% translated, Sukehime was at 82% translated along with 27% edited, Room No.9 was both at 80% for both of translation and editing progress, Sona-Nyl was at 79% translated, Escalayer was fully translated and 72% edited, Amatarasu was entering beta testing, and Maggot Bait was fully edited (Good job to the editor for enduring it lol). We also have first secret project, in which Mangagamer was apparently proud of it with the current progress was at 66% translated along with 19% edited. We also have interesting updates from them, in which that both of Bokuten and Damekoi were finished the testing along with Lilycle. Although apparently it's still quite a while though before the release, because Trinoline was still in scripting here and perhaps they'll release Trinoline first there. As usual we have the updates from fan translation, in which we have Eustia was at 61.97% translated along with 45.54% edited, Harugi's overall was at almost halfway (49%) translated with Shino's route was past halfway (58%) translated and Branch was at 45% translated, Pure Pure was at 91.79% translated with Tobari's route was at 88.79% translated, 4,379 lines from Pure x Connect were translated along with 1,001 lines of it were edited, Watamasu was at 38% translated, and that we finally got the full patch for HaraChuChu at this week although I'm not quite interested with this though seeing that it's just a nukige with pregnancy fetish (Go get the patch here if you interested, and have fun). For the last update form fan translation, as usual we have Hoshiori update in which Touko's route was at 66.8% translated with overall Hoshiori was at 65.27% translated. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. -

Anyway we have another update below, and apparently Irru can't wait for Natsuki's route here. Common: 100.0% Sora: 0.0% Marika: 100.0% Natsuki: 0.0% Misa: 100.0% Rikka: 100.0% Touko: 66.8% Total: 65.27% Not much to say, so that's all for this week. -

Maitetsu VN Discussion (Released at June 29th)
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Recently I did play this and took a liking to it, especially when we knew that Soutetsu here is qute capable as the MC. The story goes like Soutetsu did came back to his hometown (Ohitoyo) and seeing that there'll be aircraft factory being built he decided to fight against it because he can't bear to see his hometown being polluted. While at first it's easy to say that aircraft factory supporter is bad and the one who supported Soutetsu is good, it's not as easy as it looks seeing that both parties did have their own thinking to built Ohitoyo. That said, Soutetsu of curse would strife to fulfill what he want and he decided to use the train. Other than that, we also have the setting that each train did have AI system in form of little girl and that the AI could be romanced as well (While at first it's look out there, in the end it's just the same as Ell from Osadai in which it's more out there seeing that Ell is a spaceship). For the location setting, while Lose didn't said it directly it's quite obvious that Ohitoyo was located at the rural place in Kumamoto prefecture. I did like that Lose here did took many efforts to make many sprites, and by that I mean even Soutetsu father and mother did have sprites as well in which it shouldn't be necessary seeing that both of them were posthumous characters. There's also a bar that indicate the progression for each chapter, so you'll going to know of how much the contents that you already read, and in a sense gave some satisfaction everytime you'd finished the bar. There's also e-mote system, although looking at Nekopara it's not surprising though. Lastly, the heroines positioning in this VN is very clear with the three in the cover (Hachiroku, Paulette, and Hibki) are the main heroines while the rest of the girls were side heroines (There's four side routes and those routes were very short). As for the seiyuu/VA, for now I'll just explaining the man heroines one. Hachiroku's (The main heroine and first AI that Soutetsu know) seiyuu is Kirihana, who as we knew voiced Ayachi Nene from Sanoba (Some of Hachiroku's tones remind me of Nene), Ousaka Sora from Hoshiori, Lena Liechtenauer from Senren Banka, Horibe Yasube from ChuSingura, Mitsukasa Ayase from Riddle Jokers, and Ikoma Murasaki from Phantom Trigger. Paulette's (The mayor of Ohitoyo who is very young, and hinted to knew Soutetsu in the past) seiyuu is Aji Sanma who voiced Mochizuki Rina in Fureraba, Shinozaki Marika in Hoshiori, Kuchiki Touko in Kara no Shoujo, Reime Kaho in Haretaka, and Heroina di Caballero istaa in Kirikoi (Quite mouthful). Lastly we have Hibiki who is Soutetsu step sister, and her seiyuu is Himari who is also voiced Chocola in Nekpara, Croix Eden in Evenicle, and Hokari Kanae in euphoria. I guess that's all for my first look in Maitetsu here, and I'll try to write more later if possible. -
What I can think about breaking the 4th wall VN here is Kimikoi, although unfortunately it's still untranslated (At least JAST's work on this was quick). Other than that, I don't know much here so for now I'm sorry that I couldn't help you much on this. PS - Now that I remember it, perhaps you can try Subahibi later seeing that it dd have 4th wall breaking if you can understand it.
-
Welcome back to Fuwanovel, and if you need some recommendations for VN then feel free to ask here. I hope that you'll have fun once again here.
-
As for Maitetsu I can try to adapt at the very least, and I think not all of them were loli seeing that some of them were adult. I understand though that most people out there have a lot trouble to not disturbed, and let's stop the loli discussion in here because otherwise it'll be very bothersome. As for the route structure, at least I can see that the cover did have three heroines that would be prevalent because their route would be main, unlike Suki Suki in which what I saw is two side heroines did bigger prominence compared to three main heroines. Granted that Maitetsu's budget here might be bigger than Suki Suki (Chuable was almost bankrupt at the time of Suki Suki development, remember), but I think Chuable should be able to arrange the budget more neatly (ie I think they could still make Maya's route if they didn't design too much characters and made some unnecessary CGs). PS - The movie was played very slowly on my laptop, although it's more because my old laptop though rather than the VN itself. Just want to say it here.
-
Which platform would you prefer VNs in? (PC, iOS, etc.)
littleshogun replied to laiktail's topic in Visual Novel Talk
As for thread resurrection, as long as it's still on topic I would say it's okay. In fact, I didn't realize that there's a thread that did talk abut device preference to play VN until I saw this thread. To answer the title here, like everyone else I prefer to play VNs on PC simply because it's capable to save many VNs at once while in iOs or android the save capabilities would be limited. Not to mention the screen is obviously bigger n PC, and that there's a complicated steps to play VNs in handphone (Along with the obvious problem that handphone screen is smaller). PS - Actually my device here is laptop instead of PC, but it's still count as PC though to an extend. -
Rather than no mosaic, I would say that their tendency to produce hardcopy for every release was the reason of why JAST was slow on release VNs (Only four at 2018 compared to Mangagamer in which they almost manage to release a VN once per month). As for topic, let's just say that if I ever want to purchase the VNs then I would buy it from Steam even with some of their questionable decision recently.

The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
As for the true route matter I believe that it might be Sora's seeing that her route will have a lot of star talking simply because Sora is a member of stargazing club, and more importantly it's quite obvious that Sora's activity did convey the title here (Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, and for TL Note here 'hoshi' mean 'star'). -
Reading Ginharu Very Slowly #16
littleshogun commented on Flutterz's blog entry in Reading Ginharu Very Slowly
Good readthrough as usual, and I didn't have any problem with what kind of reading speed that you have here. As for Bethly's New Year grab, actually instead of yukata it's kimono mostly because it's winter and obviously yukata wouldn't fit for New Year visit. You can read more about the difference here, although to be fair it's hard to differentiate those two if we're not familiar with the difference. Since you also mentioned budget, I understand if Tone Work's here was saving the budget by not drawing the items because they probably blew it up at HatsuKoi in background image (They'd have two or three variant of that compared to both of Hoshiori and Ginharu), although HatsuKoi as 20th anniversary project for Visual Arts definitely helped with the budget though.
