  1. Is it a thing to celebrate Fuwanovel's account? If that's the case then happy 1st anniversary to your account there, and I hope that you'll find more inyeresting thing here. PS - Speaking about anniversary, I'm about to celebrate it at 4th anniversary if you've curious although I'm just started to be more active after more than a year though since I made the account (At 2016). Guess time goes flew past indeed, and sorry for the useless trivia here.
  2. Well usually the translator translate the lines in whichever they like as long as it's still within context (Probably), so if I may give the suggestion here you can mute the voice if you've been bothered by that.
  3. I can't say for certain in regard of that, but seeing that Ninetails was still new for VN localization it should be possible to have them trust JAST to have the latter use their connection to the factory, but keep in mind though it's just my guess for now. For the reminder, JAST usually did release both of physical and download edition at the same time in which it caused the slowdown to their release to a degree.
  4. I still think that it'll be slowed down because of JAST tendency of releasing physical copies though, but in that case then I supposed it's up to Arunaru there. Either way I hope that it'll be on time at the very least.
  5. I knew that both of Danganronpa and Zero Escape did have PC release, but the fact that those two did released for consoles (ie handheld one) still remain so it's still right when I say 'the first big Windows VN that got dubbed' because I'd talk about the VN that was truly from Windows as the first release, and both of Danganronpa and Zero Escape didn't count. Oh I also knew that this is not the first VN that was dubbed, but still it could count as big VN here because the previous dubbed VNs were more or less just small VNs (Sonicomi and Taichou Alice, with the latter was infamous because of the dub).
  6. Seeing that we got Marika's route translated, it would be appropriate if we celebrated it to listen the songs that was available in her routes. Here's 'To Your Town' below: And here's 'Song of Love' which also served as Marika's ending song below. What I can say is that I find Marika's song here is quit simple and good, especially her ending song. Other than that, Hoshiori here is indeed improved if we look from the ending songs alone because each route did have two songs so there'll be 13 vocal songs for Hoshiori (Including the opening song) as opposed to HatsuKoi 10 songs, although in exchange Hoshiori here only have 7 singers (Including the opening singer) though because one singer here did assigned to each of heroines songs and in Marika's case Sasaki Sayaka is the one who sang Marika's song.
  7. Today we have Marika's patch release, so congratulation to Tsurezure there. Go get the patch from their site here, and have fun. Other than patch release, they also announced the route order translated, so here's the order of their route other than Marika's in which I copied it from the site. The order of the routes goes like Misa > Rikka > Touko > Sora > Natsuki in which the next route here is Misa's (Duh), and since they'd decided Natsuki as the last route that they'll translate I'll call Hoshiori full patch as Natsuki's patch, just like Yukino's patch for HatsuKoi and Renna's patch for Tsujidou. In the end, what I can say for now is that I'm looking forward to Natsuki's patch eventual release. Just in case you want to read something like translator corner, Trip also write his blogpost in which it's explain his bitterness for Tsujidou, his works on HatsuKoi append, his chance to be retire after Hoshiori finished, the technical talk about LIME (LINE's Bland Name Product in Hoshiori), and his happiness to work on Hoshiori. Read his blogpost here if you'd have some interest with behind the scene of Hoshiori's patch, and I'm sure that it should be a good read.
  8. I did write about the fetishes, because it's the main focus on each route as nukige here lol. In any case, Aya is the only route that talk about incest, Michika route did have MC did some of dumb thing, Hiyori is more reserved, and Koharu is more outgoing (I did forget a lot of detail in regard of the twin lol). Oh and Rio is the best route seeing that Souichiiro (MC's default name) did his best for the sibling (At the cost of his moments with Rio), and managed to have her called Souichiiro voiced - which is a big deal more than it sounds because the siblings usually call the MC as big brother. As for the fetishes, you'd right that Aya is more normal, Rio focused on XXXjob (Substitute XXX with whatever body part that woman have), and Michika is more femdom. Although in regard of twin I think Koharu is the one who like to have outdoor sex instead of Hiyori, but I may remember it wrong. For one last thing here, all of the sisters did have masturbation as their first scenes lol. Anyway, good review on Imopara there, although since I'd already finished it I'm probably wouldn't replay this here even with harem route thing here. Also forget to say that it alo did reuse some of Evangile BG (Make sense considering that both of Evangile and Imopara here is from the same developer), and the background in question is the park with tennis court.
  9. I'm pretty much okay with any kind of translation as long as it's not MTL, so in the end it shouldn't affected me too much if we talk about naming choice here. Good luck to Arunaru, and more importantly good luck to JAST to have it released on time (December 2019 later).
  10. I admit that it's quite interesting that this is the first big VN that got dubbed, and not to mention the VA did have quite well known (I need comprehensive list to check their works later) so it's good. Still thinking that this is redundant though consider that we already have this kind of patch with Japanese voice, but I guess the wide screen support should be enough to be considered as the improvement I guess, and more importantly English voice should be a biggest draw for English speaking people (ie the people who like to watch dubbed anime). Almost forget to say that the opening song was sang in English and it sounds good, so we should say good job to the singer there. Good luck to the campaign there. PS - Nevermind about 'the first big VN that got dubbed' here, because turned out we got Danganronpa, Ar Tonelico, and Zero Escape that was dubbed. So let me rephrase it by saying that Umineko here is 'the first big Windows VN that got dubbed', and for the info all of the previous examples were for consoles while Umineko here is released as Windows VN for the first release.
  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel even though we already see each other at Discord (So welcome to the forum might be more appropriate), and sorry for the belated greeting here. Not quite interested with the car for now (Too expensive), but everyone has each their own if we talk about hobby. Hope that you'll have fun here, and feel free to ask some recommendations if you need it.
  12. Subahibi, because it got yuri, disturbing contents (Different from guro though), and most importantly the shortest out of all three, and to elaborate MLA supposedly need to go through two long VNs to appriciate it, while the prose for Dies Irae is pretty longwinded and the best version was ironically all age one (It full of crazy battle by the way). I hope that the mod here will have fun with whichever 'kamige' that will be chose later.
  13. As for politic and religion, well let's try to avoid that kind of talk like mod Dergonu said. No comment in regard of minori site blocking other than in the end they decided to expand overseas after they almost bankrupt because of Supipara, and one of those comment did say 'I'm sure these websites will flourish now that it just alienated 90% of its fan base' which surely wouldn't lead to localization if the websites were flourished in the first place - there's a lot of issue that I want to say, but I figure better not (And I really mean it). Back to topic, as for PS4 further censor in Nekopara, well whatever. If anything else at least the customer could change to either Switch or PC version if they really want to play Nekopara.
  14. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and Gate of Babylon attack was surely did have many swords there. Anyway if you need some specific VNs then feel free to ask us in regard of the recommendations, and I hope that you'll have fun here. PS - As for whether you're lolicon or not, well don't mind that too much because everyone did have their own preference after all (Just don't go overboard though).
  15. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and looks like your VN did looking good there so good luck on your project. And feel free to ask some feedback here if you feel like need one later.
  16. If that's the case, then I didn't have anything to say other than in the end the best action is should be just wait and see, especially in regard of Steam in which if we remember could change their policy easily.
  17. I would say that the OP here should either seek a doctor or took some classes in philosophy, because I'm sure that those two could help the OP more compared to us here who surely did have each of their own problem (And I'm sure that most of the people here wouldn't have enough capability to solve the OP problem here if the problem was too heavy), and some of us here either did have little interest in philosophy or avoid it altogether here.
  18. Just want to say that the game addiction there was quite disturbing seeing that someone (UnlimitedMoeWorks) could use the university money to buy high end PC, but then again I'd almost fallen in the same trap so I couldn't say much in regard of that case. As for my case here, I think high end PC was unnecessary though in regard of playing VNs, because you can stick with old computer if you just want to focus on that (The ideal requirement should be that the PC have 4GB RAM and 1TB HDD), and it's not like I'm interested with game that have higher requirement anyway. Anyway I just want to say that at least UnlimitedMoeWorks did realize his mistake in regard of his game addiction, and I hope that he'll find a way to cure his depression there now that he started to do it (Although flooding the forum with 'w' was not the best therapy though).
  19. About the reason of sex censorship while at the same time didn't censor the violence from religion angle, I admit that it's quite eye opener to me although it's not fully the truth anyway (And no I won't explain my thought here because religion were pretty much a sensitive issue). As for the reason of why Sony tightening their censor, in the end we can only guess the reason although if we talk about China it's quite tight on censorship indeed. By the way my newest guess would be perhaps Sony here was got panicked with their censorship act, and they'll probably will be like Steam after realizing that they shoot their own leg with the censorship in Japan.
  20. To find out why sex is censored while massacre isn't censored, I think it would be a lot of work to find any satisfied explanation so I wouldn't go into that (I'm sure there's a lot of material out there). Anyway, what I can say is that I guess it's up to Sony in regard of censoring their fanservice contents or not, but if they did that then perhaps it might be akin that Sony shoot their own leg because the developers wouldn't like to compromise, although perhaps there would be some company that would be willingly to compromise by Sony there such as Leaf (Presumably). If anything, at least it mean that Sony's rival would get a lot of weapon to sink Sony sales by offering the rejected companies to add the games to their own console, although it's just my conjecture anyway. PS - I believed that Sparteh here was probably just find out that classification today (Nukige, moege, nakige, charage), and I find that it's quite understandable if Reddit shot down his post there.
  21. Sanoba also did have full body sprites feature (You could drag the sprites), after stories, and scene jump though (The same with Wahahigh iirc) so I think it's good to see that nowadays we got more VNs with that kind feature. The commentary by the seiyuu was definitely most interesting one, because it's rare in translated VNs although regretfully we couldn't even understand it because there's no script that accompany the spoken line, and let me blunt that the publisher here should care about seiyuu commentary because it's quite rare that we have that and so far only Da Capo 2 that have the transcript for that was translated (Hakuai and this didn't have the translated transcripts). While granted people could attempt to understand this through spoken Japanese, I would say that it would be nice if there's a transcript for non-Japanese speaker.
  22. Well if the censorship managed to doubled the price for PS4, then I would be very worried about that. But since the price was still the same and I didn't have any plan to buy PS4 anyway, the news was more or less not interesting to me. It's not new though that Sony did censored explicit contents, although for them to censored the content outside explicit sexual contents then it's defnitely a new one. If anything, I just hope that Leaf will move to Steam now that Sony started to censor their releases, although Leaf would likely try to compromise anyway.
  23. To elaborate a bit, other than both of Evangile and Noble Works we also gonna have Hello Lady as another example of ojou sama VNs, although in Hello Lady case it also have some combat though. In any case, those two ojousama VNs were surely overshadowed by Irotoridori to me here, and even without Irotoridori the interesting thing that those two VNs have were only the casts in which those two did have experienced seiyuu (ie both of Evangile and Noble Works is more interesting). As far as announcement concerned, my interest here is obviously goes to Irotoridori along with both of Mirai Radio and Nukitashi, while for the rest I think I'm not quite interested for now. Good to see though that we finally have Himawari no Kioku was being localized seeing that there's already talk about localization of it from back at 2016, although to be blunt I'm not quie interested with this though.
  24. Foreword - No VNTS yet again, and perhaps this time it's because Decay was still in need to cool down from his work load. So here's another VNTS Review from mine and I hope you'll enjoy this. As for the title, it should be obvious that it have the relationship with Sanoba release but for this time I'll tell why at the PS so let's focus on the main topic first, and welcome to this week VNTS Review. Quite a surprise that we got from Sol Press back at the last announcement, so I'll try to write about those announcements. Other than Sol Press announcements, of course we still have some usual updates with JAST and more importantly we have two big releases (Bokukotsu and Sanoba). Let's see what I can write for this week as well. From JAST we'd have Majikoi was at 70% edited along with Kimikoi was fully edited, in which while it's not too much at least it mean that there's still some activity at JAST (Let's hope that they'll manage to have good announcement at next AX later). For fan translation, we have Eustia was at 55.38% translated, Harugi's overall was at a quarter translated with Miyabi's route was at 17% translated along with Branch was at 36% translated, Loverable was at 88.9% TLC-ed and 45.51% edited, Yoigoshi was at 46% translated, Pure Pure was at 87.36% translated with Tobari's route was at 62.62% translated, and Witch Garden was at exactly halfway (50%) translated. For last updates from fan translation (At this week obviously), we have Trip managed to fully translated Marika's route in which it's bring Hoshiori overall progress to 22.32% translated, and they'll going to release Marika's patch along with announce the next route that Trip will translate next within this week (Before Irru going to Japan at Saturday later). That's all the updates for both of JAST and fan translation section. Congratulation to Sekai in regard of Bokukotsu release, in which like Sanoba it did have some good production value although once again my interest was still with Sanoba though. As for Bokukotsu, the premise is that the MC (Ren) who suddenly became the caretaker to five magical creature girls (The game say it demon though) who is quite useless, and two of those five were his brocon stepsister and his childhood friend. Safe to say that Ren's adventure will be rocky because those girls have each of their own quirk. Other than comedic story, Bokukotsu here was also the VN with Sayori as the artist so you didn't need to wonder if the art remind you of Nekopara. Have fun with Bokukotsu there if you've been interested with, and before forget Sekai did release that for both of all age and 18+. Other than Bokukotsu release, Sekai doing their porting work for two parts of Tokeijikake (1st part and Daybreak) into the new engine in which it good to know. We also have Nine was fully edited, although I'm more or less just pass on that because it's episodic release. Other We'd have Frontwing released Loca Love, in which it's only the first part so I'm not quite interested with this. Although from what I saw I think Frontwing will probably going with one character route per releases, in which it's been the format that Frontwing did for their past episodic releases (Phantom Trigger and Corona Blossom) so at least you can say that FW was already experienced with episodic releases. In any case, at least Loca Love here isn't as bad as Supipara in which if we remember didn't have the sex scenes while Loca Love here did have the sex scenes. Get Loca Love if you've interested with that, and have fun. Last Sunday we did have a lot of announcements from Sol Press, and one of those was Irotoridori in which it's surprising enough seeing that I've been thinking that it would be Nekonyan's next project. But then again, perhaps we could say that FAVORITE would be interested with doing the KS while Nekonyan was already insist that they're not doing the crowdfund (Including KS obviously), so obviously both of FAVORITE and Nekonyan were clashing with each other. Keep in mind that it's just my conjecture though, so I may be totally wrong in regard of this. Anyway let's see what Sol Press new lineup is. For both of Nukitashi and Onikiss, what I can say is that Decay work on the former and Fred did work on the latter. Although as far as my interest going, I would say that Nukitashi here is the third most interesting announcement to me after Irotoridori (I'll talk about my second most interesting announcement later), while for Onikiss I'll just pass that as nukige with little sister theme. Yeah I know it's quite ironic that I prefer the VN with nukige name there compared to the VN that didn't have nukige in the name there lol, but that's my impression here. As for Nukitashi, it's in regard of our MC (Junnosuke) who is quite valiantly to protect his virginity to his true love that got thrown into the island where have sex is a necessity if you want to survive, and that situation obviously wouldn't sit well with Junnosuke so he decided to organize the rebellion or something like that. Not something that you would expect in a title with nukige all right, so at least it should be interesting. As for Onikiss, well the premise was did give nukige vibe like so I'll just pass on that although perhaps there's something more beneath that because otherwise 4chan wouldn't insist to have this title to be translated. To tell the truth, their ojou sama VNs announcement (Shitsuaru and Kimi to Aogi) were not interesting to me, because we already have both of Evangile and Noble Works and also Hello Lady that we'll get at the next year if all goes well. No to mention that the MCs concept as poor and capable man was already done in both of Evangile and Noble works, and from the look of I think we can just dismiss those two VNs as moege although I still hoping that maybe those two VNs did have some potential especially in regard of Shitsuaru. That said, if you want to talk about the seiyuu that did those two VNs, there'll be a lot to talk because the seiyuu were quite well known especially in regard of with the example like Kawashima Rino and Taguchi Hiroko (The latter did have roles at both of ojou sama VNs). Not quite interested with Hitotsuba here either because it's just less known VNs that got called as 'The Second Aokana', although to me it's more like the combination of Aokana, Haretaka, and Konosora though (And not not mention that the girls costumes didn't interesting like Aokana lol), but then again some people may look forward into this. As for Himawari no Kioku well apparently the producer decided to go with Nekonyan instead of working alone to localized it like back when it was announced, although more or less I just pass on this (The graphic was still good though). In any case, it's obviously will be released on Steam seeing that it's already been green-lighted at that site since two years ago, and obviously Sol Press will have 18+ patch available for this VN as well. As for Mirai Radio, since it's another Laplacan VN it's not surprising that Sol Press did get their hand on that. As for the premise, it was in regard of the post apocalyptic world in which the MC himself was about to die only to find a strange girl who said that the MC wasn't supposed to die yet. To tell the truth, I did have a hard time to understand it from VNDB synopsis alone so I'll just link it to mod Clephas's review because I find that his review is understandable. Anyway, this is the second most interesting announcement to me after Irotoridori, so I'll look forward to eventual release of Mirai Radio. The most interesting announcement from Sol Press to me here is obviously Irotoridori. As for Irotoridori, the premise was in regard of our MC Yuuma (Another Yuuma as MC's name I see) who receive the power from Shinku when he was a child. As he grown up as the adult, suddenly he's heard a girl's voice that beg him to to save the her. Irotoridori here definitely have some history with two translation attempts, the first was by Tokidan and the second was by Akerou. It's a shame that Tokidan was failed to present the full patch for Irotoridori, especially with his progress back then was already at almost 90% translated. While for Akerou it's been his dream project, and to be frank it's quite frustrating to him if he didn't able to work on his project so hopefully he could move on now that he manage to established Nekonyan with currently two big releases there. That aside apparently Sol Press will going with KS in regard of funding this, which is understandable considering the scope of the project (And once again more in line with FAVORITE's interest) so let's see of how Sol Press will handle the KS later. To conclude Sol Press announcements here, once again I'm interested with Irotoridori the most, following with both of Mirai Radio and Nukitashi. As for the rest, well let's just say that I probably didn't interested with other five announcements as of now, but I may change my mind in the future. Also while it's good that we have so many announcements from Sol Press, it would be inevitable that if they couldn't manage those eight it'll be hard to them, especially with they promised another announcements later. In the end, I just hope that they'll find a way to handle those announcements, and seeing that they overestimated their engine work back at Sakusakura I just hope that they'll be more ready to work on the engine for all of those announcements, especially Irotoridori in which from what I'd heard it's hard enough to work around. If anything else, at least they should be experienced enough to work on Mirai Radio since it should shared the same engine as Newton VN. Oh and I knew that they already hired five people to work on the engine, so I hope that those people will be suffice for the announced VNs. The biggest release to me at this week here is obviously Sanoba, in which it's another Yuzusoft VN (Congratulation to Nekonyan in regard of first official translated Yuzusoft VN release). Obviously it's very ironic that until now Sekai still didn't release any of their Yuzusoft announcement yet, also with FAVORITE left them but at least Sekai managed to release Hoshimemo even though it's a redundant one. As for the premise, it was in regard of Nene who is a witch that have some arousal problem because of her witch contract, and Shuuji (The MC) was lucky enough to see Nene masturbated using the table lol. Seeing that Nene was easily depressed, obviously got seen by other man it would be very embarrassing to her, and so Shuuji decided to take a responsibility for the situation. As for Nene's situation, since she's a witch she got the job to collect heart fragments that was appear whenever human felt some strong emotion (Be it happy, sad, or anger), and while at it Shuuji also could perceive the emotion around him as sense. While the premise was sounds like nukige, actually it's more in line with charage so if you want to read some charage, then Sanoba here should be good VN. Get that from either Steam or Nekonyan's store, and have fun. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. PS - Once again the title was obviously come from Sanoba Witch but instead of 'Witch' I'd use 'Sadistic', because it's in regard of seiyuu joke (ie Role Association) with Nene's seiyuu (Kirihana) who also voiced a character in Blend S and if we remember back at the opening Kirihana's character (Miu Amano) was associated with the word 'Sadistic Oneesan', so I just add 'Sadistic' for the title at this week. Here's Blend S opening in case you want to get some nostalgia.
