Finished with Sui's route at Hatsukoi Sankaime, and the ending was quite abrupt considering that the route finished at the same time they finished with the recording while back at Yurino's route they also allow the movie to be watched in school. Forget to say that the MC (Yanagihara Taichi) and the heroines did have setting that they have film club, and that they record the movie to have the achievement in regard of club activity. Anyway back to Sui's route, her conflict is just she attempted to ship both of Yurino and Taichi only to be ended in failure because Taichi was already firm with his decision with Sui, even with the fact that Sui herself is Taichi's blood little sister (Yeah the parents didn't have any problem with that whatsoever, and even Mrs. Yanagihara did teach Sui of how to do blowjob lol). As for Togawa, well he's slightly helpful here I guess even though his presence was still faint. Forget to say that Sui here is quite a brocon one. As for the next route, I'll going with Himeka who is the 3rd grade and also the leader of film club and quite mischievous at that. Like I promised earlier, I'll explain about the route order here. In here, other than film club setting we also have loli character called Rin who is appeared in front of Taichi. At first she was only visible to Taichi, but gradually she started to be visible in front of heroines as well before Rin disappear at the end of common route, causing the casts to be grieving because of that seeing that they already bonded with Rin. For the route order, I'd play it based on the order of how they saw Rin. So the first girl that can saw Rin after Taichi is Emilia, followed by Yurino, then Sui, and the last one is Himeka. I knew that there's Misaki as well who is Taichi's first love, but she's special one so I'll save her route for the last. For the last note here, gonna look forward to both of Himeka's and Misaki's routes here seeing that both of those routes did contain the story context of Sankaime from what I'd hear. PS - As for Sui's seiyuu, her name in here is Uehara Aoi or if you prefer the real name it would be Fukada Ai in which she'd more well known compared to Yurino's seiyuu. As for her role, she did voiced Nanase Koharu in Imouto Paradise (Coincidentally another blood little sister character), Asaba Konami in Saku Saku (Hattrick in voicing blood little sister character lol), Beethoven in Eiyuu Senki, Kazato Asa in Konosora, Shion Misono in Healing Harem, and Suzuki Miu in Chrono Clock. I just want to say that looks like she's been pigeonholed to voicing little sister characters here.

Need help deciding what to read next...
littleshogun replied to Mclovin1985's topic in Visual Novel Talk
In that case, then I would suggest you to not buy Saku Saku because it's still have mosaic (Sekai was been like that). Dracu Riot is still fine though, because we can treat it as the fan release even though it's supposed to be leak (Still rough one) and Sekai will release the proper version of Dracu Riot later if they have mood to thaw it later. About the mosaic, to tell the truth it's my least concern in regard of the VN, so I couldn't exactly say much about it. But at least I know that in general Mangagamer release didn't have problem in regard of that because their release didn't have mosaic, while Sekai did have some problem. Oh and by the way both of Fureraba and Sanoba were uncensored if you consider to buy those two later. -

littleshogun replied to Mclovin1985's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I guess Chisato here is too infamous for Japanese people just like HatsuKoi MC, so much that they writing the character of her expy (Appearence wise) in Aokana (Asuka) differently and as the result it make Asuka become likeable to a degree. Also from what I'd hear, Aokana here did get rid of the forced play order so at least we can say that Sprite realized that Koichoco route system is a divisive system. As for HatsuKoi, while I did hear that he was infamous most of his worst moment was only at both if Yukino's and Runa's route from what I saw. Otherwise, I think he did good enough job there. If you hesitate to play HatsuKoi because of that, then you can wait until Hoshiori being translated in which it shouldn't be took years to be finished. As for Dracu Riot, well I would say that it's quite usual for Yuzusoft that the MC here is quite shy to hold her hand, so I would say that it's pretty normal one lol. Saku Saku, well apparently it looks like soap drama as well with some drama involving the heroines route, but if you curious then you can try to check it out. As for the recommendation here, in the end like Adamstan here I'll just recommend Konosora and make sure you did use the available fan patch because Pulltop did messed up with their overseas release (Their first messed up work to be exact). Although if you want to check on other four VNs later, feel free to do so. -
Apparently Ryuukishi want to sell it as doujin VN again, presumbly to minimize the marketing cost compared to if he got the publisher. I did kind of wonder though if this'll be translated, but seeing that there's Witch Hunt name in the credit perhaps it will. Seeing that Ryuukishi like to write about military thing, safe to say that he already experienced with it. Also if you want improved graphic, well perhaps waiting PS4 graphic shoud be the good solution although it might be hard since Alchemist here is bankrupted, so we wouldn't know who is going to be responsible to do the port.

As for the recommendations, looks like True Remembrance would be a good candidate. Other than True Remembrance, there's Da Capo 2 in which most of the time setting was around Christmas (Actually Dal Segno here could be said at around same time, but since the setting is at the island with eternal summer it didn't count here). Other than that, I think that's all for translated winter VN with heartwarming story that I can think of, and no I can't exactly recommended WA2 here because the ending is quit depressing even though the settng is very fitting. I hope that those to recommendations here will be helpful.

Whether the art is good or not is quite subjective, so I couldn't say for certain that you'll like the art in my recommendations here. But still I want to recommends some VNs here, so let me try here. As for my recommendations here, I would say that both of Sanoba and Dracu Riot di have the good art, and so does Hoshiori (It's still in translation progess though, but I'm sure that you can get it in near future). Also I would like to recommend Suki Suki as well seeing that it'll be coming at 13th later, and perhaps I can say that HGB did have the good art as well even though the release date for that i still a bit uncertain. For the last recommendations here, I would recommend both of Maitetsu and Hapymaher, in which the former did have some trivia matter in regard of train and business. I hope that my recommendations here would be helpful to you.

I guess we're not doing much talking about Healing Harem here, although then again it's not like I have interest in Healing Harem anyway lol. As for Steam commentary, well I can't comment much other than I wouldn't pay attention much to the FDs releases lol, although it's still too bad though if Pulltop managed to get the idea to localized Miagete's FDs. For the censorship issue, while we can say that AGM policy is at fault, personally I would blame Pulltop more because they should already decided that they wouldn't released 18+ VNs overseas if they chose AGM knowing the situation, and I think they already determined to do that. Besides, if they really want to localized 18+ VNs, they can just decided to break the contract with AGM (Or getting around of it) and chose new partners who is more flexible in regard of 18+ contents. Granted I did say that it's because of the money that they took it with their own hand, but it's not like it's impossible if they ask some assistance from either Mangagamer or JAST for the translator (Probably). Well in the end what I can say is that this is the exciting release from Pulltop like they say, and I agree with that because Healing Harem here is not Pulltop's big VN and we can safely let it butchered lol.

Could you recommend me a romance VN to read for 2019?
littleshogun replied to Happiness+'s topic in Recommendations
As for Hakuai aka Nurse Love Addiction, yeah I would like to recommend that like the rest of the user here. And if you want to play it, like Sayaka here I'm strongly suggest you to play it following the walkthrough (Personally I would recommend you to save Sakuya's route for the last though). Other than Hakuai, well there's underrated VN called Pygmalion in which it did have battle and plots there, while the romance did take a bit of seatback. Have fun with the yuri there. -
Good if you watch Netflix I guess, although technically speaking Evangelion here is already pretty old so some reaction like Seinfeld is Unfunny trope is inevitable, especially when Netflix subscriber did exposed to either TTGL or Kill la Kill as their first anime hypotetically speaking. That said, some of those may getting interested with Evangelion though, so let's see whether this is the right move from Netflix or not.

Finally I managed to find a way of how to reorganized my feeling in regard of Zakuro's route climax, and the way is just treat it as soap drama lol. The reason of that because there's a lot if the drama that wouldn't be uncanny in soap opera such as female bullies, jealousy, almost suicide, rape, depression, and hysteria. In the end what I can say is that just forget the detail about the climax other than it's necessary to be dramatic, and know that Zakuro's story climax here is influenced Subahibi. Especially after knowing that actually SCA-DI also wrote Zakuro's climax like that back at Tsui no Sora.
-
If you already decided it, then have fun with Subahibi there. Also keep in mind that the story itself could be quite disturbing at some points, especially in Invention and Insect. Also if you buy Steam version, the 18+ patch for that is VERY NECESSARY (Sorry for the shout here) because FW did only released 1st chapter at Steam while locked the rest in the patch.
-
I guess it's up to each of their own in regard of Root Double there, so I wouldn't hold a grudge against the criticism to that lol. That said, personally I already used to using the walkthrough for each time I play the VNs, so I didn't really have the problem for using the walkthrough lol. So yeah I didn't really have the problem with SSS, although admittedly it's quite annoying though that I need to minimize the VN each time I played it full screen to see the walkthrough.

vn release "Sakura Sakura" finally got release date - 19.11.2018
littleshogun replied to adamstan's topic in Visual Novel Talk
What I can say is that the first comment was came from a mentally ill user on VNDB that was created this thread, while the latter did like nameable MC so much that did have argument with mod Clephas about that matter (Sorry for going a bit personal here). So in short VNDB here can be as wild as Reddit, or perhaps on some instance even more. As for the OP of that thread, well I think his taste was more in line with nice protagonists there and like to put himself on the shoes of the MC there. As for what Naoki did, from the demo he'd tried to trick Inaba to enter the kendo club, and the reason of that because the kendo club itself is lack of members. Granted that Naoki's way was quite not honorable to put it nicely, but I would say that the OP at VNDB didn't really need to express his disgust in hyperbolic way. Anyway, what I can say is that perhaps you should try the VN first, and if you couldn't handle Naoki at the first scene then you can drop it (Besides there'll be more interesting VN that will be translated in short time such as Suki Suki, HGB, Hoshiori, and Damekoi in case you dislike Naoki later). PS - As for whether you should believe VNDB or not, well I would say that you better draw the conclusion by yourself here. -
Quite a lot of page that we got here (At 600 pages). Anyway, as for the topic currently I'm already finished with Hatsukoi Sankaime Yurino's route who is Taichi's (The MC) crush. By the way Yurino here is rich girl/ojousama character), and compared to Emilia's route there's no main story because it's mostly just tell of how Yurino's learn of how to open herself to communicate her feeling to Taichi, moreso because of her route problem was stemming up from the lack of communication. Also while I'm at Sankaime here, I did find that Togawa here was very bland as MC's male character friend because we didn't even know some of his life story, which is quite contrast seeing that in many VNs we did know of what male best friend characters interest are, although I may be too hasty on Togawa here seeing that I just managed to finished two routes here. As for the next route, I'll play Sui's route in which she's Taichi's little sister by blood. PS - As for Yurino's seiyuu, compared to Momoi Ichigo who voiced Emilia her CV was still little so more or less she's newcomer eroge seiyuu. That said, if you like Kirikoi you should recognize her role as Princess Sylvia (Her long name is too mouthful lol).

Yet Another Reason Why I Shouldn't Play Chaos;Head Yet
littleshogun commented on LemiusK's blog entry in Lemurian Ruins
Well I guess it's for the best, and I'll leave the final decision to you then. -
What I can say? I guess take your time to mull over whether you'll take a liking to VN again or not, and if you regain the passion for the VN then you can come back here. In any case, just take your time to resolve your own personal issue there, and hopefully you'll getting better after you resolved it for some times later in the future.

Yet Another Reason Why I Shouldn't Play Chaos;Head Yet
littleshogun commented on LemiusK's blog entry in Lemurian Ruins
Well as long as you're willing to wait for Noah it's okay then. What I can say is that the reasoning was reasonable enough because the requirement to unlock the additional route could be similar like Little Busters, and I understand that it would be pain to reread already finished route. Speaking about KEY, perhaps it would be fitting VNs for the beginner seeing that it's one of more popular VN companies for mainstream player, although what I can say is that it's still up to you to whether you'll take a liking to any KEY game again or not. PS - Since you did mention what you should do in regard of whether you should play continuing Meikyuu in order to knowing what happen to Yuuji and his family, well you can watch the anime itselves to save some times and from there you can decided whether it'll be worth to replay Meikyuu for the main story or not. For the reception, so far I didn't find any critic like usual VN adaptation anime so it should be telling that the adaptation was quite faithful to a degree. -
The Parallel of Michiru Matsushima and Yumiko Sakaki
littleshogun commented on LemiusK's blog entry in Lemurian Ruins
If you think that Front Wing (FW) did regressed Michiru at Meikyuu, perhaps this thread at Reddit could give you some reasons lol. Note that it talk about FW's almost broke situation while they already planned the trilogy for Grisaia, and so they decided to make Kajitsu as almost standalone VN (Remove some of Amane's route foreshadowing, and we can have Kajitsu as totally independent VN). Of course seeing that Kajitsu is stand alone VN to some people, any attempt to make the trilogy would be met up with some confusion in regard of the canon. Before you say that Muv Luv did that I would say that Muv Luv here still better as the trilogy because they managed to introduce the major plot hook at Unlimited that was sold together with Extra, while in here both of Kajitsu and Meikyuu did sold as separated VN so it would be fitting if we say that Meikyuu and Kajitsu here is separated to an extend, mostly because FW probably scrambling off to write the original plan that they have with the trilogy in both of Meikyuu and Rakuen. As for Michiru's AS, well if you feel uncomfortable by that you can treat it as the fanservice for the fan who like idiot Michiru, and I'm sure that it make up most of the fans out there back at Meikyuu development in Japan with the current situation was back then FW probably need to sell Meikyuu as much as possible, possibly to cover the development cost back at Kajitsu. Other than that, we can also say that FW probably thought that Grisaia trilogy need some comedy relief, and poor Michiru was the one that FW chose lol. As for my opinion in regard of the trilogy, I think we can treat Kajitsu as the main entry of Grisaia while at the same time treat both of Meikyuu and Rakuen as the fandiscs, moreso because of the development situation of Kajitsu (Then again, FW did sell Meikyuu as Kajitsu's sequel though, so there's that). PS - In case you afraid that Rakuen would be unkind to Michiru, feel free to ignore that FD because in there she's pretty much flanderized into the idiot one (And by the way I wouldn't treat Rakuen as the sequel even with FW did mentioned that Michiru got lost in my country Indonesia lol). -
Foreword - The technical problem at the main page was still unresolved, so it's pretty obvious that we still didn't get VNTS here as long as admin Tay here is still missing. I'm still hope that the issue with the main page is fixed, no matter of how long it'll be. Anyway, here's usual VNTS Review for this week and I hope you'll enjoy it. Welcome to this week VNTS Review and as for the title it's very simple that I parodied both of Sakusakura and Sakura Swim Club, because the former did have art club as the most prominent club in the setting and if we remember we already have old Sakura Swim Club from Winged Cloud, so I'd combine both of those into 'Sakura Art Club'. Granted that Sol Press did localized it as 'Fine Arts Club', but in the end art club here is still fitting lol. Anyway in case you didn't catch up with the news we finally have Sakusakura release in which it's the second full VN release from Sol Press after many delays, and other than that we have some updates from fan translation. Other than those two, there's no update from most of other official localization companies. Let's see what I can write for this week as well, even though this week was a bit lacking if we keep the eye on official translation. Like I say before, finally we have Sakusakura release in which we finally have it delayed for several times. What I can say about the delay is that while granted that there's some thing like back when Steam was purging the adult games in panic and therefore Steam need more time to review it thoroughly, I'm still say that their overestimation of their capabilities of making it high resolution did contribute to the delay because turned out that there's a lot of work need to be done for that according to Doddler (Here's the blogpost for the proof). Well in the end all of those were history, and I hope that Sol Press will keep improving themselves. As for Sakusakura release, from what I'd read we'll going to have two type of MCs (A timid one and a sly one) that will have problem with their own love triangle problem. Or to put it simply each of the MCs will have to deal with love triangle problem, so we'll going to have two love triangle story. What I can say is that if you didn't like love triangle then you can avoid Sakusakura at all cost, although if you looking forward into that because of the love triangle I would say that it wouldn't be as dramatic as School Days love triangle. Go get Sakusakura if you've been interested with, and have fun (Personally my interest in Sakusakura here is already waning). From fan translation, we have two new projects were announced although technically both of those were already there for a while though. The first project is Pure x Connect in which it's another Smee VN that did have same setting as Fureraba because two of the heroines did attend same school at Fureraba (Same uniform), and same story to an extent that namely the MC want to feel love after being single for some time. As for the current progress, right now 3,200 lines out of 43,986 lines were translated while 160 lines were edited. What I can say is that good luck to the team, even though there's a chance that Pure x Connect here might be Nekonyan secret announcement. The second project is Trans! in which it's Toradora lemon VN technically speaking, although perhaps calling it lemon would be disrespectful because of the negative connotation from lemon so I'll call it Toradora doujin nukige VN. As for the premise I think VNDB should explain it more clearly here, so let me to write about the progress here in which the current progress of that was already 5% for both of translation and editing progress. As for Trans!, personally I would pass on this but still good luck to the team who translate it. For the rest of fan translation updates, let me round up it. For this week, we have Eustia was at 59.74% translated, Harugi's overall was at 31% translated with Miyabi's route was at 48% translated, Loverable was at almost halfway (49.4%) edited, Pure Pure was at 89.57% translated with Tobari's route was past three quarter (75.70%) translated, Watamasu was at 30% translated, Yoigoshi was at three quarter translated, and Gore Screaming Show was at 21.78% translated. Other than those roundups, we also have Summer Pocket gave their update with their current situation is that the team was almost finished the translation of the common route and translated all of the minigame files. As for the next plan of Summer Pocket, the team will release common route patch after all of the editing work for the common route is done along with make sure that the minigame is working. For the last update, we have Misa's route was fully translated and overall Hoshiori was at 36.36% translated, and like Trip said earlier there's no patch release at this week because there's still some work left before they'll release Misa's patch later and after that start the work on Rikka's route. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.

The 3rd Tsurezure's Project: Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai
littleshogun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
This week updates were surprisingly early, so here's the update below as usual: Common: 100.0% Sora: 0.0% Marika: 100.0% Natsuki: 0.0% Misa: 100.0% Rikka: 0.0% Touko: 0.0% Total: 36.36% As for Misa's patch, they said that it wouldn't be out tomorrow because they still need with the editing and stuff. But looking from their usual pace, I would say that it should be possible that we get the patch by the next week if all goes well. Also Trip here did say that he'll take a break before starting on Rikka's route, which is understandable since Rikka's route here is the longest one in regard of line count, so perhaps we should expect that Rikka's route translation here will take a while. That's all for this week update. -
Clephas' Translated VN recommendations
littleshogun commented on Clephas's blog entry in Clephas' VN home
Nice to see some recommendations of translated VNs from the mod here, seeing that usually you like to recommended Japanese VNs. I didn't say it was wrong though if you keep recommended Japanese VNs, but at least we can see translated VN that match your taste here. As for the list here, I agree with most of those. If I may add some recommendation here, perhaps Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai because I remember that you did praise it back at the time of the release albeit hesitant at that because of some of your pet peeve such as renameable MC. That said, I would say to the people that Hoshiori here is worth reading, if only for some calming story and the romance development between the heroine and the MC, and don't forget the detailed after story. As for the estimated release, I would say that it's big chance that Tsurezure here will release it first before Sekai managed to work on all of your recommended VNs (ie Baldr Sky, Senren Banka). Of course I would recommend Hoshiori here as charage/moege, in which it should be obvious why. Other than Hoshiori, I would say that Evenicle here is could be added here although perhaps you disliked some of it's aspect. Not that I didn't have any problem with the list though, since The Sword of Eternity duology here is pretty good gameplay hybrid VN, even though Seinarukana's story was more light compared to Eien no Aselia. As for Sekai announcement here, let's just say that currently only Nanairo that have closest chance to be released in near future. We still don't know what happen to Senren Banka work there, but at least we have Bladr Sky was at halfway translated even though it's not clear whether they'll have 18+ scenes or not (If not perhaps we can say that it's like Force here lol). As for Dracu Riot while I understand the circumstances behind the 'nonentity floating current patch', personally I would say that I'll leave it to each of their own here whether they want to try the patch first or decided to waiting for Sekai to thaw Dracu Riot, and of course if the people find that it would be better to wait for Sekai even after read the patch then it's okay as well. I don't know whether FW did work on Hatsumira translation or not, but perhaps it could be one of FW's secret project. As for Bokuten, the release time should be in near future considering that it's already in beta testing, along with Damekoi as well in which it should be in your plotge recommendation seeing that you liked it despite the ladder style system. Well even with I'm saying this much, I would say that overall this is a good list. Also I agree that it's too bad that some of Eushully VNs were either machine translated (Soukoku no Arterial, Madou Koukaku) or still in progress (Amayui, Rhapsody), and that I've been looking forward to HGB release by Nekonyan (Hopefully at December if they still want Winter 2018 release). -
Speaking about Yui Horie, she did becoming PreCure at MGPC as Liko/Cure Magical. Other than that, her roles in VNs were Tsukimiya Ayu from Kanon, Ushiromiya Maria from Umineko, and Hanyu from Higurashi. While for Mamiko Noto, she did provide the voice of Cure Echo from PreCure All Star movie and Mavis from Fairy Tail, and if you want her role in VN she's Ichinose Kotomi from Clannad (And Liang if you play Baldr Force PS2 version). If you know Hirano Aya, at least Haruhi fan should know that she'd voice the titular character there. Other than Haruhi, she also voiced Lucy in Fairy Tail, Izumi Konata in Lucky Star, and Amane Misa in Death Note. For Tsuji Ayumi, her role in VN is Orihara Kozue in Chaos Head and Oda Nanami in Sono Hanabira 11 in which her voice was quite high pitched compared to Nanami's first appearence (Perhaps Ayumi did fill in while Nanami's seiyuu take a break at the time around Sono Hanabira 11 development). Yeah, from what I did write above I would like to say that the casts is what interest me the most, especially with the name like Mamiko Noto and Yui Horie. Too bad though that there's no Sawashiro Miyuki, because otherwise the video would be more funny especially with nearing the end of the video. As for choosing the seiyuu feature, at most it's just a double edge gimmick because while it's interesting that you'd have the heroines can change the voice, it also render the heroines into blank slate as well because you couldn't associate the seiyuu with the heroine like in any other VN, and if we know the casting policy usually seiyuu did get casted based on of how well they do the performance of said character. Allowing the character to change the seiyuu would render the casting obsolete, and so the heroines itself didn't have any character. Not that it matter though, because in the end this VN was just some sort of demonstration for the seiyuu, and perhaps it should be released as freeware VN lol. PS - As for the writer, one of his works is MLA in which his one of the writers of the VN that inspire Attack on Titan. Of course seeing that this is the VN that was intended as the demonstration for the seiyuu, I would say that Song Wing can hire some random writer who can write some cliche romance and girls archetype instead of well known writer.
-
What I can say is that the sales is quite good, although if I speak from my personal opinion here I'm not the one who like to hunt the sales, so I'm still not reckless enough to do impulse buying so much that I need to sell my kidney lol. That said, if I may recommend something to buy perhaps Fata Morgana fandisc should be the one that you buy along with Fureraba bundle as well, and the latter here is should be good if you're un mood for some light read.

Mangagamer is having a black friday sale on physical copies
littleshogun replied to bakauchuujin's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Well good for physical copy enthusiast I guess, which obviously not me here. That said, hopefully Mangagamer can do this kind of sales more in the future. -
Already entered Wakana's route in Sanoba, but I decided to change it into finishing Yurino's route back at Hatsukoi Sankaime and perhaps finishing the whole VN as well.
