Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting @Navi-1 (Nice Kurumi aka Walnut avatar there). Feel free to post something here if you like it, and also you can ask for more VN recommendations in case you want to play more VN. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.

Lover Pretend was released in English
littleshogun replied to Shiawase_Rina's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Well the graphic is nice all right, and also this is the only translated otome VN that manage to involve a villainess that most of light novel writer like to write even though it's only for one route. Also now that you mention that, it's quite rare to see translated otome VN that put the full focus on the romance so at least it's quite something. Lastly have fun to anyone else who already enjoyed it. PS - Too bad that Aksys Games insist that they only released otome VN for console only, which is too bad seeing that there's a lot of interesting otome VN from them and also most of the people didn't own Switch. -
Anime of the Year 1996-IV Fall - Elf wo Karu Mono-tachi
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Anime of the Season
Wedding Peach OVA - Obviously only good for the visual excitement of the fans who want to see the fan service, otherwise you may watch it to see Saliva's possible boyfriend. Nobody's Girl - The last World Masterpiece Theater before their brief revival in 2000's end. Saber Marionette J - I just glance it in Animax at afternoon, and I can only understand is that there's three female marionette who is attached to a guy. YAT - Broadcasted in Indonesia as well, and from what I remember I think it resemble Rogue Galaxy to a degree, although only for the season one (Yes it has sequel in 1998 later). Hana Yori Dango - Another anime that was broadcasted in Indonesia, and this one is quite famous in Indonesia (And some other Asian countries), although the fame is not because of the anime. But instead the reason is because the live action adaptation from Taiwan that change the cast name, and said adaptation is known as Meteor Garden with the female MC Tsukushi known as San Chai and her love interest Tsukasa known as Dao Ming Si. To know on how famous Meteor Garden in Indonesia is, there's a lot of merchandise based on F4 (Taiwan version obviously) that was produced here including bed sheet (That I still own until now). That's all for my comment in regard on Autumn 1996 anime. -
Anime of the Year 1996-III Summer - Akachan to Boku
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Anime of the Season
I only recognize Baby and I, and let's just say that you're more or less right about the premise there, although back then I don't exactly know that Tatsuya is still at grade schooler though. Another thing that I remember is that there's a lot of talk about the deceased mother, which is understandable seeing that it's quite a big loss for the family. Well that's all for my comment on Summer 1996 anime. -
Anime of the Year 1996-II Spring - Kodomo no Omocha (TV)
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Anime of the Season
Sailor Moon Star - The final season for Sailor Moon anime, and this time they have another controversy with said controversy is in regard of Sailor Starlight who is a man in civilian form and female in transformed form, which to say the mangaka is less than pleasant to see the change because in the manga they just disguised as the male (Without sex change obviously). Other than that, Star here also has some Sailor Moon allies do some extreme thing to defeat the enemy, and obviously some fans can't accept that kind of writing. Oh yes while the anime villain stopped at Sailor Galaxia, in manga there's one more villain to defeat before Sailor Moon ending. Kodocha - I came across several mention of it from the reviews of my favorite Precure reviewer, and I can only say that the manga will going darker than the anime alone to a degree. Makibao - I only remember the opening song of it (Never watch the anime even though it's broadcasted in Indonesia), and let's just say that it's quite catchy. As for the titular horse Makibao itself, well let's just say that it's not as strong as usual horse or that it's not as cute and sexy like Uma Musume horses lol (Well the character designer may want to depict on how unusual looking horse can be quite strong in the race). Lamune 40 - The real sequel of Lamune, and it's more or less like Boruto in that the previous MC son will be the new MC. While obviously there's still some hot blooded moment just like the old Lamune, what I can say is that the ending of the new Lamune here is surprisingly bittersweet with some higher level of casualties compared to the old one, which make sense considering that the premise is already grim enough with the old casts have misfortune to a degree so much that only Da Cider is the one available to accompany the new MC. Escaflowne - I did watch the anime of it on Animax, and well I don't understand much of it. From what I can see it's obviously combined both of shoujo and super robot together, although this is not the only isekai that has the same premise because we have Rayearth (Or you can also add Curious Play if we talk about isekai). If anything else, I can say that the song is quite good, and there's a reason behind it with the composer saw the potential in Sakamoto Maaya who was casted as Hiromi (The MC) VA. Long story short, she proved her potential as the singer and then she's become well known as both singer and VA. Nube - Back when there's the ad in Indonesia, I thought it would be a scary anime. While it's still a scary anime, turned out that it's not as scary as I thought. I also read the manga of it, and let's just say that the manga has more fanservice compared to the anime. Nube itself is about a titular Nube who is a bumbling teacher that has supernatural power, and he'll use the power to save his students. I believe that Nube here is quite well known in Japan, so much that I think that Corpse Party staff made the five main characters based on the five main recurring students in Nube (Hiroshi, Kyoko, Miki, Katsuya, and Makoto), although I have no proof on this. That's all for what I can comment on Spring 1996 anime. -
What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?
littleshogun replied to solidbatman's topic in Gaming Talk
What I know about Zelda is that the gameplay is the one that inspire Genshin Impact (So much some people did say that it duplicate Zelda on the initial launch), although Genshin Impact here has easier gameplay from what I'd hear. Anyway I didn't play any Zelda yet (I did come across of it in one of the video game review from a blog back in 2009 or 2010 though), so I'm obviously didn't have favorite Zelda game here. That said, if you talk about emulator I did use ZNES, although the game that I really played and finished is only Chrono Trigger. As for the topic, well I'm still occasionally playing with Rune Factory 5 here. -
It's more like a few days after the post back at November 8th though because back in 13th it's been at 100 lines TLC-ed, but small difference. Also still like whenever there's a change number happened, so hopefully we can have it one more time before 2023 (Possibly with the penultimate script file (aiy40460) was fully TLC-ed).

[Official Announcement] Sorcerer's Choice: Angel or Demon
littleshogun replied to Seryuu's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I see that this is the first non Nitroplus BL VN that JAST will localize on top that the company is pretty much smaller one, so good luck even though it's not what I could call interesting announcement. -
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Love Lab released Maid Loving You, I'll just parodied the recently finished The Helpful Kitsune Senko-san because I remember that manga after I read Maid for Loving You premise (Especially with both male MC are office workers), so we have 'The Helpful Maid Eve-san' as the title because we obviously have a maid and said maid name is Eve. As for this week, while obviously there's Mangagamer announcements along with some other releases and new projects, overall I feel that this week here is still an average one like last week. With that done, once again let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well. Mangagamer announced two new title, Nightmare x Onmyoji and Eve of the 12th Month (That I'll call it as Eve of December for the simplicity sake). We have Sona-Nyl update, in which from what I see the translation work of it is already completed and is heading into scripting. As for Nightmare x Onmyoji once again we have female MC, although this time it's not Setsuna but instead she's Kuon who is an onmyoji who has been tasked to banish the evil spirits, and obviously she's about to be raped a lot just like Setsuna (Who've become victim in this game with Kuon determined to save Setsuna). By the way we also have this has been fully translated and edited. For Eve of December, minori obviously deliver with the arts here although they made the heroines have the big breast, and more importantly it's kinetic VN despite the three heroines which tell me that perhaps minori tried to write like the intended Supipara here so at least it might be an interesting announcement from Mangagamer. Love Lab released Maid for Loving You, and as for it's premise we have our office worker MC Yuuma who find a mysterious girl who wore maid outfit collapsed in from of his house. After the girl recover, she introduce herself as Eve and tell Yuuma that she decided to take care of Yuuma as the way to express her gratitude by comforting him from the stress of daily life. Go get Maid for Loving You if you've been looking forward into it from back when Love Lab announced it, and have fun. For the fan translation updates, we have Chronos is at 70% edited, Anzu's route of Akagoei FD is at 10% translated, Senmomo is at 78.24% edited with Chapter 6 is at 35.60% edited, ChuSingura is at 16.05% translated, and H2O is past halfway (51.5%) translated with Hinata's route is at 72.9% translated. Todokanai released the patch that translate all three mini after stories of WA2, although it's not treated as completed project yet because they only translate 3 out of 6 drama CDs. That said the patch should be sufficient enough if you just want to play three mini after stories, so you can get the patch if you've been waiting for the after stories translation and have fun. We have Aojashin restoration team already translated 3 out of 4 sex scenes from Case 3, so currently we have 12 out of 17 Aojashin sex scenes are translated. The most recent patch also has 12 sex scenes translated (I already tested it and it's true), so you didn't need to wait if you want to read some sex scenes from Case 3. Lastly we have a Reddit user release the patch that translate Shin Koihime Eiyuutan prologue with his next plan is to translate the first episode (Eiyuutan is divided into three episodes), and currently we have 6 out of 31 script files for the first episode are translated. We have one nukige announced from Cherry Kiss, Knocking Up my Nympho Neighbors, and one BL VN from JAST (Sorcerer's Choice: Angel or Demon). I have no much to say other than the former will be released on December 9th later, and the latter is the the first non Nitro+ Chiral BL VN that JAST localized. We have a new project with the goal to translate December When There is No Angel, although calling it new project might be a stretch because it's been there since September. As for the VN itself, from what I can see it's about the MC who is broken inside met a girl who is also broken with said girl can only find solace through being useful. The premise it's quite dark all right, even more than WA2 (Same developer). We already have some progress on this with the common and two routes, Touko and Sasaki, are already fully translated along with Asuna's route is at 20% translated, and the translator will try to release this in the next year. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Well good for one who want more NTR nukige I suppose, although to be honest I can't say much on this so I'm indifferent with the release here. Have fun though if some like the VN there. As for Medibang themselves, what I get is that they're mostly published the games from querate and UmeSoft in which both are more or less only offer visual excitement when it come to the contents (Or if I may be blunt UmeSoft VNs are nukige), although curiously they only act as the second publisher instead of the main publisher for most of the releases (This NTR VN here is one of the VN that they'd published alone). Anyway since this is more or less just a simple NTR nukige, I should say that as long as the translation is sufficient then it should be more than enough.

Cafe Stella and the Reapers' Butterflies Summary Takamine Kousei was living a carefree college life until, one day, he tragically died in an accident. But then, the bizarre happened: Takamine Kousei opened his eyes again. And what's more, when he woke up, it was the morning of the very day he had died. He proceeded to relive the same day, unable to grasp the reality of his situation. Kousei soon realized that his previous experience was not some prophetic dream, nor was he experiencing deja vu; everything was taking place the exact same way. Overwhelmed by fear due to the unbelievable situation he has found himself in, he came back to the place where he had died. Then, at the moment of the accident, Kousei met a death goddess accompanied by a talking cat. The death goddess informed him that he has not yet avoided his death. In order to escape his grisly fate, Kousei must assist the death goddess with her work. And naturally, this means the opening of a café together. By rewinding the world, Kousei may have overcome his fate for now, but can he overcome the certain death his future holds for him? This is the story of one man's love and his defiance of the world and his own fate... maybe? Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order There are four main heroines (Kanna, Natsume, Nozomi, and Mei) and one bonus route (Suzune), and in order to unlock Suzune route you need at least clear one main heroine route. As for the order, there's none of that so you can play the route in any order. Route Guideline Akizuki Kanna Shiki Natsume Sumizome Nozomi Hiuchidani Mei Shioyama Suzune Attribution This walkthrough is based on the walkthrough at Steam made by Chuee with some adjustment made by myself.

Hello Lady Summary It's the Dawn of a New Age. The 21st century has brought about its own slew of problems for society at large. As a result, the most promising youths from around the world have been gathered and enrolled in Tenkawa Noble Academy. The curriculum at The Academy is designed to teach students how to use their talents to lead humanity toward a brighter future. Standing at the apex of Tenkawa Noble Academy are five beautiful young girls known as "Crowns." One day, the leader of the Crowns, Saku Otonashi, is targeted in a terrorist incident. And on that occasion, her life is saved by the sudden and unexpected appearance of a young and quite eccentric man. "It can't be... A sixth, and a boy, at that...?" "Hello there, Saku Otonashi. My name is Shinri Narita." By some stroke of luck, the young man is a transfer student. Not only that, but he's also the sixth Crown. However... Shinri Narita immediately finds fault with The Academy's current system. "In the name of my will, I shall do what must be done and bring about change to this little garden of knowledge." "In the name of the Crowns, I, Saku Otonashi, declare that Shinri Narita must be stopped!" And so, the winds of fortune begin to blow restlessly through The Academy, changing the prideful girls' futures in ways they could never have imagined... Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order Hello Lady has enforced playing order, in that you need to clear both of Tamao and Sorako routes first before unlocking Eru route and finally Saku route. While you can play Tamao and Sorako routes in any order, I'll list the route guideline based on the route order so the order would be Tamao, Sorako, Eru, and finally Saku. Note that I only made the walkthrough for the first routes alone, because it cover the original Hello Lady and more importantly the additional contents are very straightforward. Route Guideline Akahito Tamao Katsuragi Sorako Takazaki Eru Otonashi Saku Bad End Guideline Bad End 1 Bad End 2 Bad End 3 Bad End 4 Bad End 5 Bad End 6 Attribution This walkthrough is based on the walkthrough at Steam made by Chuee with some adjustment made by myself.

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War thoughts?
littleshogun replied to grayest's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Well if I may comment is that now we have big three shounen franchise (Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece) have all of the manga material animated. That said, it's still surprising that the final arc of Bleach are not animated until now, especially if one consider that the final arc of Naruto was animated (And of course One Piece as well even though the manga just starting the final saga). Well once again good for Bleach fans that have been waiting for the final arc to be animated for years, and also at least Pierrot won't rush the adaptation like Inuyasha now that it's been confirmed that they'll air it in four cour with first cour will have 13 episodes, so at least there should be about 52 episodes if Pierrot consistently make each cours have 13 episodes. -
The patch to translate all of the after stories are already available, so now you can play all those after stories of WA2 here (The link to the patch is on the starter post above). That said, the work is still not considered as complete yet because three out of six Drama CD are still untranslated, but at least the patch should be sufficient if you just want to play all of the after stories. Have fun in case you already played the after stories there.

I'm obviously still active on the forum, so of course I'll try to help making the forum alive again as much as I can here.

What a bothersome post from someone who got his emotional mine field triggered just because he didn't want other people has different opinion from him, and by the way I didn't care for either GOG or DRM here. Anyway let's just agree to disagree because it's pretty clear that you didn't want to listen to reasons. As for the topic, well still no much people playing this yet so I have no much to say here.

Visual Novel contents at Tokyo Game Show 2022
littleshogun replied to HataVNI's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Very late to the party here. Anyway seeing that there's a thread about Akai Ito and Aoishiro duology I'll try to comment about those later on, so in here I can only comment on Seabed. While I can say that I did enjoy the VN to a degree, I doubt that I'll come back to listen to the audio drama here. Still it might be worth to listen to any Seabed fans out there, seeing that this is might be the closest thing for Seabed to have voices, and maybe someday we can have Seabed VN re-released with voices in the future. -
Well obviously more than 7.8 million people want his account back for several reasons, such as either missing him, admitted that his leadership is better compared to nowadays, or just want more meme tweets from him. That aside, from one of the news Trump won't back using Twiiter anymore (The news in question), although the reason is mostly because he's using his own social media. Of course though he may use the Tweet in the future, seeing that his statement can be said as political matter so yeah. PS - I mention the statement in regard of Trump won't using Twitter because I'd happen to see the news about it in Indonesian TV running text.

Let's talk about Erogetrailers.com, a site forgotten to time
littleshogun replied to HataVNI's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I just know about the site today after I read this thread, so I'm not really mourning it (Or rather I don't know what to say about it). As for ketsuage, I did come across the user several time on Youtube, although it's more like to find out the VN opening video instead of communicating with him directly (Never known that he own a site that contain all of VNs trailers). Anyway my focus here is more on translated VNs, so it's not like I'll use ketsuage's channel as the way to find new eroge to play anyway, although maybe I can find some nice opening video in there. Lastly it's always interesting to learn from the past, especially when it come to VNs releases. PS - I may check all of those ketsuage's channels if I have the chance later. -
I should say that the light novel (And manga) author did try his best to salvage the messy Gou and Sotsu duology, so at least it may worth to check out if you're still (Understandably) disappointed by Ryukishi's decision to make Gou as the sequel for Matsuribayashi. Not that it help to salvage the mess that Gou and Sotsu caused on the major scale, but at least we should appreciate the novel author's effort there, especially when he made the new continuation called Meguri with very different approach to Sotsu.

Towa's Bizarre Adventure: Mithril is Unbreakable Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Visual Novel Translation Status (20/11/2022) Since Slow Damage MC (Towa) VA is also Josuke's VA from Jojo Part 4 (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable), I may as well made some Jojo reference here by obviously change 'Jojo' with 'Towa', so we have 'Towa's Bizzare Adventure' here. As for 'Mithril', it's from Soukoku no Arterial in that it has the setting that the major company in the game has been produced mithril as their main source of income, so I'd change 'Diamond' into 'Mithril' thus we have the full title for this week VNTS Review as 'Towa's Bizarre Adventure: Mithril is Unbreakable'. As for this week, while it's not as interesting as last week at least it still has several release announcements along with some releases so overall it's not too bad here. That said though, this week is more or less an average one even with Mangagamer new title announcements. Anyway, let's see what I can write in regard of this week. JAST did release Slow Damage back on 14th, and it's obviously BL VN so it's not my interest here. That said though, I'll try to summarize the premise here. The premise goes like we have our MC Towa who live in a casino resort that soon known to high number of crimes that happen in said city. Our Towa here has the hobby to paint the human desire, or more specifically the moment before said desire urges break free from the constraints. Obviously such hobby can lead into death, seeing that some desire can also involving desire to harm or to kill which doubly dangerous in the city full of crimes. Even so, Towa here would willing to die for the sake of the arts. Of course seeing that it's Nitroplus VN along with the dark setting and the MC's desire, it should goes without saying that Slow Damage here is a dark VN. Go get Slow Damage if you want some BL VN with handsome men along with good (And dark) story, and have fun. Mangagamer released Nightmare x Sisters. As for the premise we have our female MC Setsuna who work as the nun/exorcist has her sister Yuka who also Setsuna's partner get kidnapped by a cult in one of her job to exorcist the demon, and so Setsuna ask the help from her male childhood friend who is the obvious stand in for male MC. Obviously seeing that it's nukige, it's inevitable that Setsuna would suffer a lot of rape because turned out the cult want to keep raping the sisters for their own purpose. I did find that the arts are quite good, so hopefully Mangagamer will localize the rest of Nightmare series if possible. Go get Nightmare x Sisters if you want to play some nukige with a lot of rape, and have fun. Oh yes Mangagamer also announced their next release on December 15th later, although unfortunately it's not Rance IX but instead it's just Hentai Public Service. Last week Love Lab said that they'll release Maid for Loving You soon, and turned out by soon they mean that it'll be released on 25th later. For the roundup of fan translation updates, we have Chronos is at 55% edited, Senmomo is at 77.91% edited with Chapter 6 is at 31.66% edited, ChuSingura is at 15.79% translated, and H2O is at 45.6% translated with Hinata's route is at 42.1% translated. We also have quite big updates from Yosuga no Sora translation team, although from what I see it's more or less about on how they're already finished the work for two routes (Common and Kazuha) in Yosuga no Sora. They also reveal the exact number of Haruka na Sora progress, in which currently we have it at 66% translated along with 41% TLC-ed and 1% edited. Sekai released Eternal Heart in which as we known it's Hoshimemo FD, and with the release the wait is finally done to anyone else who've been waiting for this. It come with a problem though, namely that it can't change to Window mode so you can only play this in Full Screen mode. Anyway in FD obviously we'll going to have the after stories for all of the heroines, with the highlight of the FD goes into Mare and the secret heroine after stories because from what I hear it's where the meat of the FD goes. Go get Eternal Heart if you want to see more Hoshimemo, and have fun. Seeing that Sekai released HD version with the mode changing bugged, I hope that Nekonyan can avoid the bug when they release Irotoridori HD later. Speaking of Nekonyan, they'll release their next release Aokana EXTRA2 on December 16th later so you can note the date if you want to see more Misaki (For the reminder EXTRA2 is Misaki's FD). That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. Edit (21/11) - Mangagamer announced two new title in NYC, although I'll talk more about it in the next VNTS Review so I'll just brief it now. The first announcement is the second part of Nightmare series (Well I get what I wished in regard of Mangagamer will localize the rest of the series) called Nightmare x Onmyoji, and the second announcement is one of minori VN 12 no Tsuki no Eve or if you prefer English title is Eve of the 12th Month (Don't ask me why Mangagamer didn't just called it as Eve of December) with the current progress is at 88% translated along with 5% edited. -
I'm Maiagaru, your neighborhood academic
littleshogun replied to Maiagaru's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. It's also interesting that you recommended euphoria there despite that it's known as the VN with disturbing contents, although I'm not denying that there's good story beneath the infamy (It also help that the opening song is quite good). Since you also mention Maggot Bait, let me say that I like the opening song of it as well even though I know that it has more disturbing contents compared to euphoria. By the way, while I may dismiss a lot of nukige, I understand that some of those can have good storyline, or rather some can have blurred the line between porn and storytelling. One of the example is Monster Girl Quest in which while it's categorized as nukige, the story itself is more typical RPG with the MC can avoid as much as sex scenes as possible (In fact I'd suggest to do so because the arts for some sex scenes are not looking good, which is quite ironic seeing that one point of nukige is the visual excitement). Another example is Dohna Dohna in which the storyline is far from sex and sex is only used as the mean to get supply in order to survive the game, although to tell the truth it's kind of blur because it also mean that sex play a lot of role in the game (Not for the story, but instead in regard of gameplay). Rambling aside, I hope that you'll have fun in here. -
Welcome to Fuwanovel @Adze and sorry for the belated greeting. Speaking about Katawa Shoujo, I remember when my roommate did play this and I showed some interest to back in 2009 with me asking if it's the full version or not, only to find out that it's still incomplete. That aside, you can always ask for more recommendations if you want to do so, especially in regard of what kind of VNs that you want to play right now. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun in here.
