  1. Welcome to Fuwanovel and thanks for always reading my blog there. I see that you're old lurker there, and of course you can always participate in here if you wish so. As for the recommendations, unfortunately I didn't have one as of now but if you fell like it you can make a thread about that later. Although if you need some VN to consider, perhaps I can suggest you to try either Marco and Galaxy Dragon (Linear VN, although it have lot of comedy and CG) or Umikana (You didn't need to worry about the censorship because it's an all age VN in the first place). I hope that you'll enjoy yourself more at Fuwanovel here.
  2. It's surprisingly hard to recommend very normal slice of life (ie no strange thing, overpowered ninja girl, or supernatural) VNs, but let me try here. For my recommendations, I would say that you should try Konosora, Noble Works, Umikana, Making Lovers, Wagahigh, and Fureraba. I know that most of those are already in your wishlist, but I guess it won't hurt to recommend it once again. I hope my recommendations here will be helpful to you.
  3. I did try to look at your VNDB list, only to see that your VNs list is too small. So if possible, perhaps you can list what kind of VNs that you're already have on your hard drive so that it can be easier to recommend you some VNs. My other suggestion here is just like everyone else in that you should make a recommendation thread for asking what kind of next VNs that you want to play, and after that perhaps you can say that the VNs being treated fairly (Even though scope wise is still limited compared to video games).
  4. Welcome to my VNTS Review for this week, and as for the title since we have Mugen Renkan release and the VN itself telling us the story about a beautiful immortal who suffer a lot of sexual violence, I decided to derived the VN Abyss of the Sacrifice by changing 'Sacrifice' into 'Immortal' so we have 'Abyss of the Immortal' for this week title which to say is quite poetic lol. As for this week, what I can say is that it's not quite bad with Mugen Renkan release and Iwaihime announcement, with the latter was one of most requested VN to be localized courtesy of Ryukishi07 who write the scenario for that. Other than Iwaihime announcement, we also have Mangagamer announce their next release as usual after released Mugen Renkan and the release in question in Rance 01 and 02 bundle. So I can say that this week is slightly less active compared to the last week, but in exchange it have a lot of new release announcements compared to last week. Let's see what I can write for this week as well. Like I say beforehand I'll talk about Abyss in the Sacrifice. As for the VN itself, what I can say is that the casts itself is definitely the main strong point with name such as Kitamura Eri and Yukana. The premise itself was about the usual escape game like Zero Time Dilemma, although instead of nine people we'll have five people participating in the game with all of the players are schoolgirls. It should also be noted that the girls are from different countries, although of course it probably won't factored much in the escape game. For one more info, the VN itself is from 2010, so in case you find the graphic quite outdated it's pretty much quite understandable. I don't really know though whether the VN is good or not, seeing that there's no much review that talk about this VN. For the reminder, Abyss of the Sacrifice will be released at December 17th later so you may note the date if you want to play it. Sol Press only give one substantial update from Nukitashi in that it's been at 45% edited, while for both of Sakura Celebration and Irotoridori they still waiting for the QA. Actually they also have the updates for the rest of their leftover licenses, although in this case it's more like they tried to search for the translator after the staffs left them. For the detail, currently they tried to do some restaffing for both of Shitsuaru and Himawari no Kioku (Which should be obvious is quite ironic because they talk big about on how they'll deliver the release quickly back at AX and not give much updates after the announcements), and they tried to searching the staffs for Windmill VNs (HHG and Witch's Garden). After I see the controversy, I guess I can say that Sol Press is not to do well at this moment to put it nicely and so I can only say that at least they still not desperate enough to cancel their Windmill VNs licenses yet. As for fan translation, no much to say other than we have some nice updates as usual. For the updates we have Loverable was at 91.32% edited, Chaos Head Noah did have four routes are fully translated (Or rather finished the first pass translation) with some other routes got some significant progress (The translator blogpost for more detail on the progress), Reflection Blue was at 63.34% edited with Shizuku's route was fully edited, Harugi Branch was almost fully translated at 99% translated, and Eustia was at 98.78% translated with side route was at 92.07% translated. We also have the patch for Miotsukushi Ura that was released just recently, so if you want to play one more different version of Miotsukushi then you can get the patch and have fun (Although getting all of Higurashi original parts (Onikakushi to Matsuribayashi) with PS3 graphic and voice is more than enough to me). For the next plan, they'll working on both of Hajisarashi and Kotohogushi arcs so you can look forward for more additional arcs of Higurashi if you've want more of it. Since Mangagamer released Mugen Renkan, as per tradition they'll announce the next release and in this case it's Rance 01 and 02 bundle. For the release date of first two Rance remake, it'll be at 29th later so you didn't need to wait until November there. As for Mugen Renkan itself, it tell the story on a nameless woman who become immortal and thus won't be able to death. Of course it come with disadvantage, with the woman herself is a slave and it mean she's a convenient object of physical torture. She obviously didn't like the torture, and thus she decided to ran away from the immortal king who rule the world. Her journey won't be easy, seeing that the king sent the cadres to catch her and bring her back to the king, and so the MC's journey would involved running away from the king's cadres across several eras. While in the end it's the story about a meaning of life for the immortal woman, it should be noted that there's a lot of sex scenes in there with most of those involving rape, although it's not worse compared to either euphoria or Maggot Baits if you wonder about that (I still won't recommend 15 years old player to play this though). Go get Mugen Renkan if you want some dark VN with female MC, and have fun. For Iwaihime, it's been one of VN that was predicted to be one of ShiraVN project, and turned out that ShiraVN manage to get it localized with Lemnisca was the one who work on the translation. As for the writer himself, surely you know that the one who responsible here is Ryukishi07 of Higurashi and Umineko fame. Of course seeing the writer, it mean that there'll be a lot of horror involved in the story. We also already have the trial for this released at Steam, so you can try the trial if you curious and have fun. By the way I already see the trial for a bit, and I can see that Ryukishi here did apply quite a number of his Higurashi writing in Iwaihime so you may feel some deja vu if you already read Higurashi. I'll tell the premise when it's released in English, and you didn't need to wait for too long for the release seeing that ShiraVN already announce that it'll be released at 23rd later. You didn't need to worry about the censorship from Steam, because this VN itself is an all age VN in the first place (Looks like Ryukishi prefer to write all age VN there, although he still manage to write some scenes that barely looks like the sex scenes). That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
  5. Perhaps I should try to start an anime discussion board for Fall (Or rather Autumn) here, even though there's no Autumn season in Indonesia here. Anyway as for Autumn here there's quite a number of anime that have female MC, so it might be interesting if you want to watch the anime with female MC. So far I only watch Rail Romanesque though, in that it might be more than possible that it's the promotion movie for Last Run later, seeing that it didn't put focus on Hachiroku and Reina much (They became the legend instead). I don't know though what I'll watch next later, but Majo no Tabitabi looks interesting. Anyway have fun in regard of discussing the autumn anime here.
  6. Let's see what I should comment for September recap here. As promised I'll try to talk about Nine Episode 3 release. No much to say from Sekai's side seeing that it's going smoothly and currently they manage to get Episode 4 was at halfway translated, so good for them. Instead I'll talk about on it's possible that the author use episodic release format to gather his idea on Nine bit by bit, and that he probably didn't have full picture on Episode 4 back at 2017 (ie Nine Episode 1 release). About the cliffhanger ending that happened in Episode 1, I believe that the author was supposed to address that in the sequel, although from what I read he still not addressed it though (It might be resolved off-screen). Apparently Palette also realize that it's not good to resolve one hanging plot thread off-screen, and so they decided to released the bundle that was supposed to compile all four parts along with the new route (Which hopefully resolve last plot thread), and that bundle will be all age. Since Palette removed the sex scenes, I just hope that the new route will more than make up for it just like back at Dies Irae. I know that it'll be all age because Palette credit the VA with their real name instead of alias (They credited Miyako's VA as Fukuen Misato instead of Sawada Natsu). Other than that, I think the bundle here might be made with Steam in mind so it should be possible that Sekai will also license the bundle as well, although it might be too far-fetched as of now. Now for the actual September releases, there's Salthe that you forgot there. Although then again, it's not the best VN for the one who easily disturbed seeing that it got some disturbing contents such as rape and torture. Other thing to note is that the developer here is the branch of Smile who is more well known to develop cute nukige such as Bokukotsu, and Salthe here is not a cute nukige. To add more interesting fact, the producer of Salthe here is also the writer for first three Nekopara VNs so yes it's quite ironic. By the way I'm quite surprised that Joyjason who usually quite critical to VNs vote this positively so it might be worth to check if you're okay with the contents. Unlike Salthe, Wan Nyan here is more like traditional cute nukige in that the heroines is the normal human who cosplaying as catgirls and doggirls (Don't ask me on why the heroines family name are related to dog and cat), and obviously the writer here took Nekopara trend (Speaking of Nekopara, we'll have the 4th VN released at November 26th later). Another difference is that Wan Nyan here did have male MC while Salthe itself have female MC, and of course Salthe's MC here is more good looking compared to Wan Nyan MC because we can see her face in sex scenes while for Wan Nyan we occasionally see the MC didn't have face in the CG just like usual. Although Wan Nyan here have sexy alternative costumes in that you can have the heroines wear those if you want, so you can get it if only for the sexy costumes lol. Other than those three releases, I didn't have much comment so let's just round it up below. At least we didn't need to wait for two months for Sekai to fix their busted Denpasoft store unlike Mangagamer. As expected Frontwing released Loca Love Volume 3 with English language support, although I didn't expect that they'll release the online version in the overseas store (JAST and Fakku) immediately as well. For fans of Taisho x Alice, be glad because you can play two more routes and that you didn't need to deal with the infamous translation like back at 2017 because Verdelish still the one who handle the translation. At last Mangagamer announce their survey result, although at this point I treat it as formality though. Not to mention that fan still hoping the same thing such as Fate or WA2, which to say not the most sensible requests. Also their first rank (Evenicle 2) is quite ironic, because Alicesoft themselves already take an action to localize it by themselves. Kara no Shoujo 3, well I wonder if Innocent Grey will ask Mangagamer for the sake of continuity or JAST if we look at their Flowers license, although I shall wait and see until the release (I'm almost certain that Innocent Grey will ask JAST to localize Flowers Winter). Also I hope that Reiji finally can have a rest from his misfortune in the ending. Congratulation on Hypno's KS success, and I think the estimation of release month (December 2021) is quite reasonable if we look back at Frontier. Of course it would mean more waiting, but I'm okay with that. I think that's all for what I can comment in September 2020. PS - Forgot to add that there's also fault side below was planned for Spring 2021 release, so let's see on how they'll continue the story later.
  7. Looking from your list, I guess I can recommend Sakuramori and it's sequel although beware that the first part is have charage plot after the horror part in the common route ended. Other than that, you can try Summer Pockets, Iwaihime, and Chaos Child if you interested with it along with Baldr Sky duology. Lastly, I guess I can suggest you to try Utawarerumono and the sequels (Part 2 and 3). I hope my recommendations here can be helpful to you, although I don't really know if you already play those VNs or not.
  8. I don't know which VNs that you already read, but when it come to charage may as well recommend something like Wagahigh or Koiresort in case you still didn't read it. If you want more, then perhaps both of Senren Banka and Sanoba Witch could be fitting to you. Also in case you still didn't read it, perhaps ATRI and Umikana might be interesting to you. I hope that my recommendations can be helpful to you. PS - You should also try Summer Pockets as well, in that while it did slightly more heavy compared to usual charage, it was worked on by same people who work on tone work's VNs.
  9. So you want Sekai to license it? I see. Although that said, it would be an uphill battle though seeing that the cast are quite well known and not to mention the MC is voiced. Not to mention that one of the cast is the late Fujiwara Keiji, which mean that Sekai probably need to negotiate about on how they'll license his voice as well if we look back at on how currently JAST keep fighting the uphill battle in regard of Majikoi which currently did have dilemma whether they should cut the voices from one of the characters or not. As for me, while I personally didn't want Sekai to license this I still need to respect them if they manage to get this licensed like I said back when I promised that I'll respect them if they manage to get both of Baldr Sky and Eustia licensed back at VNDB several years ago (And surprisingly they manage to release Baldr Sky even with the fact that GIGA force them to not release it with sex scenes), and also I should respect your wish to see Eustia here released by Sekai. Seriously I would say that I rather not to agree with your stance of pessimism there, at least until it announced that this project got some severe technical problem. Also it's still too early to say being fooled there, so you better save that word until Sekai really announce it as you 'wish'.
  10. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and yes Fate did have humble beginning as the VN before it's going big so much that it become Type-Moon most prominent focus. I also didn't know that Fate was the VN when I watch the DEEN version back at 2007 (The anime), at least until I talk about it to my friend back at 2010 and he said some twists that was not easily seen when I watch the anime (Obviously because it only adapt one third of the contents and the content itself is merely introduction to the VN itself). If you want more VNs recommendations other than Fate, feel free to ask here although keep in mind that most of the VN are focused on the daily lives of high school so don't expect all VN would like Fate (There's some VN that are written like Fate though). Lastly I hope that you'll enjoy yourself here.
  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and you can always do late introduction here if you wish so. You can always ask for some recommendations if you feel the need to read some more Japanese VNs, and yes nowadays we have many kind of VNs being translated which of course a big improvement compared to what we have in the past. About Poland people, I know that mod Lesiak here is from Poland and he focused on OELVN although he know some Japanese VNs if I remember. Other than him, I think there's some other member from Poland if I remember. Lastly I hope that you'll have fun here.
  12. Welcome back to Fuwanovel, and I'm sorry that I forgot what kind of posts that you did in the past. As for your avatar I admit that I didn't know who is it, although my instinct tell me that she's Rin from Yurucamp. Speaking about anime, I also interested with Wandering Witch aka Majo no Tabi Tabi so may as well watch it later (It resembled Kino's Journey yeah, and at least it's easy to say that the MC is female compared to Kino in that she's looks like male just looking from the outfit). Lastly I hope that you can enjoy yourself once more here.
  13. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and sorry for the belated greeting. Feel free to ask for some VN Recommendations if you want to play something particular, and I hope that you'll have fun here.
  14. Visual Novel Translation Status (09/27/2020) Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I just combined both of Riddle from Riddle Joker and Clover from Clover Day's so that we have Riddle Clover for this week VNTS Review title. The reason for the title is because this week we have Nekonyan did their monthly update, and those two did have the updates. By the way I did a bit of searching about Riddle Clover, and find out that it's one of the fabric product that was available here. As for this week, we have Frontwing release Loca Love Volume 3 with English language support and that we have a news about fault after several years of waiting. Other than those two notable news, we have several usual updates from fan translation and also the aforementioned Nekonyan monthly update. Overall I can say that this week is not too bad even though it's quite plain, and let's see what I can write for this week as well. JAST did release Kanosen which tell us the story about a student on how naughty his girlfriend is, and said girlfriend is also his homeroom teacher. As for the teacher heroine herself while the MC said that she's kind and beautiful, I'll just say that after I saw the design I'm no longer thinking that Wagahigh heroines chest size is too big anymore or rather their chest are very flat compared to the teacher heroine lol. At least I didn't need to comment about on how her design is too old for the setting like back at Shoujo Dominance. Well go get Kanosen if you like to see the kind and beautiful teacher taking care of the MC's raging libido so that he can enjoy his school life, and have fun. Speaking about JAST, we also have them acknowledged that they still working Majikoi at their tweet (The link to the tweet), so at least it should be good enough confirmation for now to anyone else who still waiting for JAST to release it. After several years of waiting, we finally have a news about fault side below release estimation and as for the release plan it'll be at spring 2021. While I know that if they finished it at side below would mean that they'll rush the ending, personally I prefer them to finish it now if we need to wait for a long time for each of the sequel. But if you tell me that the cause for the long wait is because a lot of factor such as engine factor and their separation from Sekai, I can only say that I hope the developer can pick up the pace for the next part release if they still want to develop more parts before the finale. As expected Frontwing did release Loca Love Volume 3 with English language support, and they also released download version at both of JAST and Fakku as well (Also not at Steam for obvious reason). The premise is that this time we have out MC getting closer to his childhood friend who actually his upperclassman only that she's shorter than the MC, and that she's working as shrine maiden. What I can say is that just expect this like previous Loca Love in that the MC will gradually getting closer to the heroine, which in this case it's the aforementioned shrine maiden childhood friend. Go get Loca Love Volume 3 if you want to read it, and have fun. Irru did announce that Trip decided to take some time to do hiatus because of burnout, so don't expect Ginharu update for some time. I don't know when Trip will recover from the burnout so that he can continue Ginharu translation, but hopefully he'll be able to recover at some time in the future. For other updates from fan translation, we have 16,661 lines from Pure x Connect are translated, Loverable was at 91.26% edited, Harugi was at 63% translated with Branch was at 94% translated, Reflection Blue was at 43.3% edited, and Eustia was at 97.78% translated with side routes was at 85.59% translated along with the editing was once again caught up at 97.61% edited. That's all for fan translation updates at this week. As for Nekonyan's update, finally we have them started the editing progress for Clover Days with the current progress was at 15% edited. For other updates, we finally have Aokana EXTRA 1 was approved for Steam (Which mean it shouldn't have any more trouble to be on Steam considering that Valve is pretty much quite unpredictable when it come to the censorship) and currently it's been at halfway in QA, Kirikoi was at 95% translated along with 70% translated, Riddle Joker was fully edited along with past halfway (55%) in QA, and their secret project was at halfway translated. Speaking about secret project, Nekonyan decided to add one more of it and currently it's been at a quarter translated. As for what their new project is obviously I don't know because it's dubbed as secret project (Duh), although if I may suggest something it could be either Harem Kingdom or Cafe Stella with the latter did have the 4-koma video was translated by Nekonyan (Either way I would like it if turned out the secret project was one of two VNs that I suggested). That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. PS - There's another new VN announced for the release at December 17th later, and the name of the VN is Abyss of the Sacrifice. Apparently the VN itself will depict five girls trapped in a dangerous place and they must do their best to survive, just like Zero Escape trilogy or Root Double. I'll try to comment more on that later.
  15. Add the poll and while I know that IxShe Tell here is a moege which mean that whether you'll like a route would depend on how much that you'll like the heroine, I feel that it's still worth to add just in case some user here for example favor Yui and yet find himself liking Shiori's route the most.
  16. Read 29 to JK, and let's just say that there's no much romance because the manga itself is more on how the MC did fight the injustice inside car sales company, or rather it's more like the manga about office politic while the romance plot was mostly side plot just like any older shounen manga. Granted that it might be the advantage for the reader who didn't like the romance between 29 years old people and the high school girl, although it raise another question on why the author set it up with the title and premise in the first place. Then again, perhaps the author here didn't really like on how he was told to write big age gap romance by his editor, as shown on how the MC got closer to female high schooler was forced by his boss after the MC reject her advance, and it's not really helped that said high school student turned out to be the granddaughter of the MC's boss with said grandfather order the MC to get close to his granddaughter (It's the most forced development that I'd read as of now). PS - I know that there's light novel of it, so maybe the romance development would be more prominent there seeing that the novel is still ongoing. Edit - I know that the author here did use same formula back at Oreshura in that the MC was also forced to have relationship with the girl (Or rather being blackmailed), but at least I know that it didn't have third party for that to be happen.
  17. What a nice trailer. That aside, I did wonder though if the developer would finish it here or continuing it with fault 3. While logically they would continue it to part 3, personally I would say that it's okay if they end it at side 2 below so that we didn't need to wait for new parts anymore. Also hopefully we can see more on Melano and her cadres in this installment, seeing that the trailer did imply the inevitable showdown between her and Selphine.
  18. As for the scoring, I guess I can say that VNDB is enough because it's what's most of us would use when it come to searching VNs. For more personal reason, after I find that Umineko Episode 8 score was at 58 I decided to not use it as factor when compiling best VNs anymore, and moreso they didn't focused much on all age VN (Usually that kind of VNs didn't have much votes to be trustworthy enough). So just keep using VNDB score only, and that what I think.
  19. Looks like an interesting VN for sure, although whether it's up to Mangagamer or Sekai to have it in English I don't know because Purple Software like to change the publisher. I hope that someday we can have this in English, no matter on how many years we must waiting.
  20. Well I guess it's good if Square Enix want to release Kingdom Hearts 3.1 or something like that in order to add more lore that allowed the new fans to be curious and allowed KH 3.2 or KH 3 Final Mix being created, or Leaf suddenly decided to created To Heart 3 with 12 heroines and epic story along with obviously only available for PS5, or perhaps just want some new Gran Turismo. Although even if I want to buy it and really able to do it, I think there's a lot more important if we talk about spending, especially at this time of pandemic. Besides, I think it's not really matter if you only play Steam games and never play in console again. The only benefit that I can think about PS5 when it come to RPG is that at least Falcom can have new console to make their new multiple part of Calvard arc and hopefully give us more insight on Ouroborous and their other cadres, although it would take long time anyway and that Falcom likely will release it for PC as well. tldr - I think it's not quite worth to get as of now because the game library is still lacking, although if you want to play the new game for realistic graphic then go ahead.
  21. Today Irru said that Trip decided to take hitus because of burnout, and I'd rather not to speculate on what's the cause of the burnout. Irru also said that he didn't know on when the hiatus would end, although he ask us to keep the eyes on the blog so I'll do that (I use Discord though). PS - Here's the blogpost that talk about the hiatus, and for now I just hope that he'll be able to continue on this if possible.
  22. That's some good animation to have, although too bad that we never see this become a full series (Well it's impossible in the first place).
  23. Decided to try Rorona now that I've finished with Ayesha, and perhaps may as well finished with the whole Arland trilogy if possible. The challange in here is not fighting the boss, but instead on how to manage the time while aim for ending which could be several at that and involving synthetizing things that can take days (A very precious resources), so let's see if I can handle it later.
  24. Since you didn't write in detail on what are you confused about, I can't exactly see what are you need to know more about Romeo Tanaka's writing. So perhaps you can try to write in detail on what are you're confused about, or what are you need to know more about. Yeah Rewrite did have three writers for the reminder, and the other two writers (Ryukishi and Tonokawa) only wrote characters routes (Ryukishi did write Lucia's route, while Tonokawa did write Chihaya's and Shizuru's routes). PS - By the way it should also be noted that the planner for Rewrite here is not one of the writer, but rather the illustrator herself Hinoue Itaru. While I see an example when the illustrator can have more good grasp on the setting compared to the main writer, I think it's more common to see the planner role also doubled as one of the writer. While I didn't say that the planner should also write the scenario as well, I think that the KEY's decision on leaving the planner position to someone who specialized in drawing illustrator might be a bit questionable, which explain on why people think that Rewrite's story is so fractured in that it might be caused by the coordination lacking in organizing the story (ie Hinoue might not be experienced in handling the story back then).
