Storywise and Comedywise 18+ VN's recommendation please?
littleshogun replied to alifmb's topic in Recommendations
Late to answer this, and yes I'm from Indonesia as well. You're welcome. -
Visual Novel Translation Status (01/03/2021) Welcome to first VNTS Review for 2021, and as for the title I'll tell it at PS. As for this week after a busy week, this time it's quite calm. Although we still have some updates though, in that once again most of those are from fan translation section. Speaking about fan translation, we have Oreimo VN for PSP being released so at least we have a release from fan translation, Other than that, we have the usual updates from Nekonyan here. Overall I guess I can say that this week is quite good, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Verdellish did a good progress on Slow Damage, and as for current progress it's at a quarter translated. This week JAST did announce another Empress VN named Closed Game. Normally when you hear Empress it could only mean the developer of infamous Starless, and you're right if you think that. As for Closed Game, it did have some talk about on how Earth people are suffering very much while the people of the heaven (It called Caelum Urbs here) are prosper, and that situation make the lower people being desperate to going to Caelum Urbs. Of course there's a way to make it possible, and that through a killing game with the prize that anyone who survive would become Caelum Urbs citizen. Knowing Starless, of course we'll going to have a lot of sexual contents in the game along with some murder (Duh), or if I make some comparison it would be like euphoria (It shouldn't be a coincidence that Izumi Ban'ya (One of euphoria writer) wrote the scenario here). Well at least it has Seishoujo art which to say quite nice looking, and that JAST will release this at this year later. Not my interest, but at least you can look forward to it if you like the arts. Muv Luv Unlimited - The Day After was delayed to 2021, which to say not surprising at all. Well I guess the staffs need more time to polish the release, so good luck on that. From Nekonyan we have Kirikoi was at 78% edited along with 5% in QA, 1st secret project was at 67% translated along with 30% edited, 2nd secret project was at 35% translated, and Clover Days was at 90% edited along with them currently working on porting the engine. As for their next releases, for now it's pretty obvious that we won't get either Kirikoi or Clover Days as this month releases, although I can hope that Nekonyan will release those two at this year. Lastly we also have the engine porting for Dracu Riot will started shortly, so at least it should be a good news to anyone else who waiting for Nekonyan's version of Dracu Riot. We have quite a number of updates from fan translation at first week of 2021 here, so let's round it up first. As of now Shin Koihime Musou was at 39% edited, Pure x Connect reach 10,000 lines edited milestone (10,482 lines) along with 19,232 lines translated, 40 scripts of Majikoi A-4 were fully translated, Yuuna's route at Harugi was at 80% translated along with Sumika's route was at 11% translated and Misaki's route was at 21% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 52.85% translated with common route was at 36.43% translated and Nanami's route was at 70.25% translated (Note that it's just first pass translation, so even if Chaos Head Noah is fully translated it still need two more translation pass), and Eustia was at 59.38% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 35.40% TLC-ed along with some increase on Eustia's chapter was at 5.38% TLC-ed (More importantly Eustia did get a new staff to do TLC work, so hopefully the TLC can be more efficient). As for Oreimo itself, I know that it's about the ordinary high school MC (Kyousuke) who has a little sister (Kirino) who perfect at everything while at the same time her ego is being fragile. Naturally at first the relationship being her and Kyousuke is quite distant, until one day when Kyousuke find out that Kirino like to play little sister eroge and thus it reveal that actually Kirino here is a brocon in which after that the relationship between the siblings started to change for the better. Other than that, I know that some people didn't like it presumably because of the romance with little sister along with Kirino's fragile ego, and that the fans didn't like the canon heroine. Anyway for Oreimo VN itself it's seven years old project that I rarely paid attention, although at least the original creator also involved in here unlike Saekano VN. If you're a fans of Oreimo and you want to play the VN in order to have Kyousuke romancing non-canon heroine, go play it and have fun. Oh yes technically it's console only VN because it's only released for PSP, although seeing that nowadays good PSP emulator is easy to search you can play this on PC. That's all for my first VNTS Review in 2021 here, and sorry for being late. See you next week. PS - As for the title since we have Oreimo release, I decided to parodied the English title of it by making the title called out that his cousin is cute, so we have 'My Cousin Can't Be This Cute' as this week VNTS Review. Another reason here is because Ayana Taketatsu (Kirino's VA) did act as cousin character (Suguha) in Sword Art Online, so I make the VA joke as well.

Tsukihime remake to be released in Summer 2021
littleshogun replied to Inorin's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Just in case some other users here wonder, by releasing this for console it mean that automatically Tsukihime here will be all age, which to say not surprising seeing that they've been released console VN since way back when they released Realta Nua back at 2006. Oh and the VA here is even more indicator, seeing that all of them are acted for anime and Type Moon here did use their real name while if VA would act for eroge they would use pseudonym. Well Type Moon didn't write much sex scenes in their VN anyway, so there's no much loss by released the remake as all age VN. As for the plan to port Tsukihime into PC, well good luck to the team. Translating the VN would be the easiest part seeing that the team can just use old Takajun translation if they particularly lazy, provided that Type Moon didn't change the script much other than the obvious removal of sex scenes. That leave porting the VN into PC, which might take long time. PS - By the way for now I'll just think of this as redundant release, but at least the graphic improvement admittedly quite nice to look. -
Girls' Tale Review - Top 10 Best Rated VNs Translated in 2020
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Quite a crazy year that we have in regard of 2020, especially with pandemic and all here. Anyway just like previous best rated VNs list I'll list what's translated VNs that we have in 2020 here, and the rules are still the same in that I won't list BL, fandisc (So no Aokana EXTRA1 and Miagete FD), partial translated VNs, censored VNs (None at this year thankfully) and otome VNs. Let's see what kind of VNs that I'll list below, and I'll tell the meaning of the title at PS below. Also I'm sorry if some of your favorite VNs here didn't available in my list, and I know that each of you may think differently on what's the best translated VNs that we have at 2020. For the scoring, it would be based on VNDB average score at May 20th, 2025, and as always both of the score and the rating can be change in the future. 10. Riddle Joker (VNDB 7.59) Back at January last year, Nekonyan did announce this along with (Redundant) Dracu Riot, which to say sort of ironic seeing that mod Clephas did say that Riddle Joker here is very similar to Dracu Riot. As for what I can say in regard of that, at least I can say that I recommend anyone else to read Riddle Joker first if you still waiting for Nekonyan to release Dracu Riot. Also both works did have it's own pro and con, so to each of their own in regard on which VN is better. The premise goes like we have Satoru who've been hide the secret that he's a secret agent and then he got the mission to infiltrate the school that educate the students with super power. Along the mission, he met the student council president Ayase who find out Satoru's secret and turned out Ayase also has a big secret, and her secret is she wore the pad to cover the fact that her breast is quite small. As both of them known each other secret, they started to get closer with each other and naturally there'll be romance between them (Of course Satoru can ended up with other girls beside Ayase). Lastly I can say that it's nice that we can see two translated Yuzusoft VNs in a year, and thus now we have five translated Yuzusoft VNs. 9. Senren Banka (VNDB 7.70) At July 2017 in AX Sekai did announce this along with several other announcements, and of course back then I really hoping that Sekai will deliver it. Only to find out that Sekai didn't do anything on Senren Banka for around 17 months until when Nekonyan did announce this, and from there we've started to see some progress on Senren Banka. Time passed, and back at Valentine Nekonyan did release this after they did release the trial beforehand. As for the premise, we have our MC Masaomi visiting his grandfather village in order to helping out the ryokan. Before going to Ryokan, Masaomi did see a tourist attraction in which there's a katana was stuck in the stone and he did try to pull it. Little did he know back then that he'll broke the katana and thus it created the commotion, with the end result that Masaomi must engaged to the shrine maiden as form of responsibilities. While at first Masaomi didn't like it seeing that the village is basically out of nowhere, it didn't take too long before Masaomi took a liking to the village. By the way while the story in common route is interesting, in the end it's still a charage so don't expect some epic story in Senren Banka here. 8. Robotics Notes (VNDB 7.70) Science Adventure VN that is quite unfortunate in that it has been compared with Steins Gate so much that people think it's not good, and the staffs here didn't help at all by released the fandisc that has Steins Gate major characters (Daru) as the second MC which indicate that even the staffs themselves didn't have confidence that Robotics Notes can stand on it's own. As for Robotics Notes itself, we have our MC Kaito who's been childhood friend with Akiho. One day in order to avoid the disband of Robot club, Akiho decided to make a big accomplishment by building a giant robot, and of course she decided to enlist Kaito's help who at first is not quite enthusiastic. Some times after that Kaito find some files called Kimijima Report, and the report did contain a plot that involving the whole world which of course would lead into something big as per Science Adventure VN. Curious about the report, Kaito decided to investigate it while at the same time he gather more allies to help Akiho build the robot. The PC version at first didn't have mouse control support which to say is a questionable decision, but thanks to Committee of Zero who released the improvement patch now we can play this using mouse. 7. Making Lovers (VNDB 7.77) Another Smee VN, and it's the 2nd Smee VN that Nekonyan localized after Fureraba. Since it came from same company along with have same writer, Makeover here also has comedy writing like Fureraba and of course Makeover here is just usual moege. As for the premise, we have Kazuma who is a young adult and live alone. Obviously this time the MC here is not a high school student, but instead Kazuma here is already graduated from the college. Even so, the problem is still the same though in that he want to have a girlfriend. In Makeover here we supposed to help Kazuma to get his girlfriend, although this time instead of small talk like at Fureraba you can just chose the heroines by using the choice like usual VN and there's no much choices so you can immediately make Kazuma to have his girlfriend. As for the girlfriend candidates (ie heroines), this time we have five with the candidates are a tsundere former college friend, a high school model, a stepsister, a weather forecast presenter, and a strange neighbor. Nekonyan also plan to localize the FD of this, although as of now there's still no work on the FD because they've been quite busy with handling many other projects. 6. Ryuusei World Actor aka Meteor World Actor (VNDB 7.81) At first Shiravune (Formerly ShiraVN) want to release this on Steam, but for some reason Valve reject it for three time so that we can't see Steam release for it. After the repeated rejections, Shiravune decided to release it on Johren in which it's their own store (Both of Shiravune and Johren are owned by DMM). For the premise, we have our MC Ruka who work as a policeman and that he's been quite infamous within the forces. One day he got a female elf newbie named Claris, and Ruka guide Claris begrudgingly because he was forced to do that by his superior. Other thing to note is that it's first Kinugasa translated work in that it show he can write good comedy along with good setting in which the other races live together with human (One of those is the aforementioned elf), while at the same time he can't write an ending to his own story because he spent too much time on establishing the setting or to put it nicely he prefer to write open ending that some people may like it. I know currently the sequel is in development according to this tweet, but seeing that Kinugasa still wrote open ending even at Akagoei 3 I don't think that Kinugasa won't write the open ending in the sequel. 5. Atri -My Dear Moments- (VNDB 7.82) At 2020 Aniplex decided to enter the VN market, and they published two title at once, Adabana Itan and Atri. For Adabana Itan, it's Liar-soft VN with beautiful arts courtesy of Ooishi Ryuuko, while Atri is Frontwing VN with both Konno Asta and SCA-JI as the staffs, although SCA-JI only direct the art. By the way, Atri itself is all age in the first place, so you didn't need to worry the sex scenes removal like what Pulltop did to the writer's previous works (Konosora and Miagete). Atri's setting is the sunken world with only the little habitable area remains, although it's not the main focus of the VN. Instead, the VN will be focused on the relation of the MC, Natsuki, and the titular character Atri. In Atri, we have Natsuki who has lost both of his mother and his leg in his childhood because of the accident. One day, he dive into the ruined his late grandmother undersea laboratory in hope finding some treasure that he may be use to buy advanced cybernetic leg. However instead of treasure, what Natsuki is found on the ruin is the robot girl who called herself Atri. Feeling thankful to Natsuki, Atri decided to repay Natsuki's kindness by she doing her best to act as Natsuki's leg. 4. Gekkou no Carnevale (VNDB 7.87) I must say that I'm quite surprised with this, especially I did know about this three days after the release (The release day was at Christmas). Moreso if I consider that the one who release this was GHS of all people, and naturally people are skeptical about this seeing that his reputation is quite infamous thanks to his (So-called) badly translated Cross Channel. That said even with knowing his past infamy and that the translation of this is apparently not quite well done, I still say that you should read this to either read more Nitroplus VN or check if the translation is really bad as people says. As for the premise of Carnevale, we have Romeo who work as taxi driver and ironically has a bad sense of direction. However, he has a secret in that he's a former member of a mafia and he himself is a werewolf, and that the mafia where he did belong is pursuing him. Along the way, Romeo pick a living doll that didn't have past memories named Anna, and Romeo decided to live together with her. Of course seeing that Romeo did need to fend off his pursuer along with some new enemies, naturally he'll fight some people and thus Carnevale here has fighting scenes. 3. Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi aka YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story (VNDB 8.02) As for Kimikoi, at first I was surprised on why Nitroplus here like to make the VN setting like a usual moege with school and all. At least until one day in which I watch a certain video, and I can say that I like that Nitroplus did go all out step outside their comfort zone by making a lighthearted moege. As for the premise, we have our MC Shinichi who has a childhood friend named Miyuki. One day he find a weird girl named Aoi who like to mutter some nonsense terms such as game, heroine, and the like. Of course Shinichi as normal people would pitying her because it mean that she's not normal so Shinichi decided to enlist Miyuki help. Over time, Shinichi, Miyuki, and Aoi become the best friends and as per moege rule both heroines are fall in love with Shinichi. I see that some people did mention that this VN did resemble Doki Doki Literature Club when they play or review Kimikoi, but I would say that they're totally wrong because there's no literature club in Kimikoi here. I also see some people did compare Miyuki with Monika, but I think they're pretty much different with the only similarities are those their name started with M and both names have six letters. 2. Flowers -Le Volume sur Automne- (VNDB 8.35) The third part of Flowers tetralogy (Which depict the GL story with the setting that resemble Marimite, the all-girl Catholic school) which also known as Flowers Autumn, and once again Innocent Grey decided to not made Suoh as the MC even though she started to make a move to resolve her problem from the first Flowers. Instead, we have the student council president Yuzuriha who was the side character in previous two parts as the MC of Flowers Autumn, and in here we'll see on how Yuzuriha has her own problem along with on how she'll handle it. For the story, we have Suoh was asked by Yuzuriha who was about to graduate to become student council president as the requirement for Suoh to know the truth that could help her, which is almost impossible seeing Suoh herself is painfully shy. However, Suoh knew that the truth is very important and related to her dilemma, so she took the challenge before she resolve her problem in the last part (Flowers Winter). Seeing on how JAST took two years to work on each parts, obviously JAST will release Flowers Winter at 2022 if they decided to localize it, and they should anyway if they want to complete the tetralogy seeing it conclude Suoh's story. 1. Summer Pockets (VNDB 8.47) The newest KEY work, and it's their big work after Rewrite. As for the VN itself, all of the twists did resemble some of previous KEY VNs twists here and thus it make Summer Pockets quite fit as first KEY VN to play, or perhaps can also be treated as nostalgia for veteran KEY player. As for the translation, at first Alka is the one who handle this, but later Visual Arts decided to localize this and they released this back at February. With Reflection Blue release, Alka decided to work on that and they also decided to reworking the original version translation seeing that they're not satisfied with the official translation. As for the premise, we have Hairi who experienced some unpleasant incident decided to go to the island where his late grandmother did reside in order to recover. From there he'll get introduced with the four girls who one way or another will have the romance with him. Forgot to say that while Summer Pockets twists like KEY past VNs, the main writer here is Niijima Yuu in which it made Summer Pockets as the second work of him that was translated after Majokoi. As for the opening, I'll use the one from the original version because it has nice 2D animation and Reflection Blue keep it anyway. That's all for my list this year, and as for my honorable mention I'll name Sakuramori (VNDB 7.30), Ouka Sabaki (VNDB 7.55), and Kami no Rhapsody (VNDB 7.14). Overall for 2020 I can say that Nekonyan did being aggressive by releasing several interesting title at once, although I guess I can say that Mangagamer is not so bad considering the year that we have here (If anything else I'll look forward to their Musicus release later). Also this year we have Shiravune which as we know is DMM branch, I'll look forward to see what kind of feat that they'll be able to do in the future even though their VNs lineup is not as interesting as Nekonyan yet. To conclude this, I'll look forward to what both of Nekonyan and Shiravune can do later along with some potential interesting releases at 2021 later. PS - As for the title, I combined both of the opening song title from both of Makeover (Girls' Carnival) and Summer Pocket (Alkatale), so we have 'Girls' Tale' for the title here -
What an eventful month in regard of the release, and let me try to comment on some news. Good for Sekai that they did release three VNs at once, although compared to other releases it's not big enough to me. At least the drawing in those three VNs are good if anything else (Zombie VN looks quite realistic, while Bokukotsu FD is looks cute as per Sayori's style). Rather than Sukehime release, I'm more curious in regard on why Mangagamer didn't announce their next release. Then again with their next possible release are quite big (ie Musicus and Rance Quest) and that it's more than possible still has some bug (Musicus was in testing and while Rance Quest is already finished the testing there's no guarantee that there wouldn't be more bugs anymore), I guess this time we need to wait for them to be ready to release their next VN. I know that Aksys are sort of infamous with badly translated otome or something like that, but since I didn't pay attention to otome VN much I didn't care about the news (Moreso so far they only release it on console). Even if I care about their otome VNs, let's just say that I probably won't pay attention to bad translation anyway. At least their new three title have interesting premise if anything else. I also know that DMM is quite infamous with their milking thing, although I also look forward to what eight VNs that Shiravune will announce later (At least it should be possible for them to license big title seeing that they apparently gathered quite a number of money). At least DMM did have big list of untranslated VNs if anything else, and I hope that there's no redundant announcement in one of those eight VNs. As for Bustafellow I can say that at least good for otome VN fan who only have PC seeing that PQube also license the PC version, and that the characters design here did resemble Musicus to a degree (Same artist). Quite a lot voice cut that Majikoi did suffer in order to make the cost reasonable, and even then it's probably cost a lot to have the main cast voiced seeing that we have name like Suzumura Kenichi, Katsuyuki Konishi, Takeshi Kusao, and Suwabe Junichi for the male voices, while for the female voices we have Asakawa Yuu and Shizuka Itou. Unsurprisingly, the fans did release the patch that add the voices for the rest of Majikoi's casts (Like back at Kara no Shoujo and Koihime Musou release in which the default releases for those two VNs even worse in that there's no voices available) so now there's no more voice problem if one play JAST version. To me JAST's version is a redundant release seeing that we already have this translated since back at 2015, but at least the translation is more consistent because it's being worked on by one team instead of two different teams. Good luck to Axanael trial translator in regard of getting the new staffs, although as for me it's not quite interesting compared to Kimikoi and another certain release. But then again it's Nitroplus VN, so hopefully some people would translate it for the sake of more translated Nitroplus VNs. I say that it's a good call you decided to just play Mayu's route and then stop when it come to Riddle Joker, especially if you didn't like Yuzusoft usual comedy. As for Riddle Joker itself, while mod Clephas did say that it resemble Dracu Riot I would say that it's still worth to try if someone already play Dracu Riot and want more Yuzusoft, although of course it's obviously apply to anyone else who somehow still didn't play Dracu Riot yet in favor of waiting for official release by Nekonyan. In the end, just like any other works I'll just say that each works did have pro and con, and it's up to each other on whichever work that is better (At least I can say that Joyjason did vote Riddle Joker slightly better compared to Dracu Riot). Oh yes, while the premise have secret agent and super power, in the end it's still Yuzusoft VN so it would be better to just expect it as charage. Normally I won't say that I'm interested with GHS work, but seeing that he'd release Gekkou no Carnevale at Christmas (That I find it quite interesting) I'll make an exception just this time. Okay I know that GHS is been infamous thanks to his (Eccentric if not crazy) effort of making a book based on Cross Channel along with his translation is called as something worse compared to Ixrec in regard of Cross Channel, but I know that some people did favor his translation of Cross Channel compared to Ixrec, so I can say that his translation is okay to a degree. In any case, I would say just read it if you didn't mind on how badly translated (So-called) the VN is or maybe just want to read another translated Nitroplus VN, and perhaps you may find the translation is quite okay contrary to what some other people said. That's all for my comment in regard of December 2020, and happy new year 2021. Here's hoping for more interesting VNs releases.

Happy belated new year 2021 (I'm late nine hours to say it), and despite the pandemic happening here's hoping for 2021 to be better.

Storywise and Comedywise 18+ VN's recommendation please?
littleshogun replied to alifmb's topic in Recommendations
As for the recommendations I think I can recommend Senren Banka, Noble Works, Daitoshokan, Fureraba, IxShe Tell, and Wagahigh. If you want more, then I can recommend you Koiresort and Tsujidou. I hope my recommendations here will be helpful to you. -
Tsukihime remake to be released in Summer 2021
littleshogun replied to Inorin's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Considering that the animation was created by Ufotable, safe to say that Type Moon probably want to reboot Tsukihime anime as well (Yes I know that it's probably just the animated trailer for the VN for now). Also apparently they want to safe some VAs cost, so they decided to recast the newer VAs with the most well known one is Kaede Hondo (Maple from Bofuri, Elaina from Majo no Tabitabi) who act as Ciel. Well at least Type Moon did use the money that they got from some gambling addict who like to waste money to draw FGO gacha wisely, so I should say good job that they still remember the reason on why they've been successful is because of the VNs with Tsukihime here is their first VN from back at 2000. As for why PS4, they probably already determined the console was PS4 while at the development time PS5 was released, so it's more like they took too much time in development rather than they ignore the newest console. Too bad that they didn't release this for PC, but I guess they may already change their target market from PC player to console player. -
Majikoi Official Release December 25th
littleshogun replied to Formlose Gestalt's topic in Visual Novel Talk
At least we have consistent translation if anything else, so congratulation to JAST in regard of the release. Not that it'll change my mind that the release is redundant anyway, but if anything else at least it might allow Minato-soft to localized more of their VNs (Although their first priority would be Majikoi S which to say would be another redundant release if JAST ever license it, and don't forget the painful VA license negotiation as well). PS - I know that at this year JAST did their best by released six new VNs (Including Flowers Automne and Kimikoi), although rather than short nukige title along with redundant release (A big one admittedly) I prefer to see either Revenger or GOLD news from them. -
I don't know on how dark you want when it come to nakige, but I guess Mugen Renkan here may be count although beware that it have several disturbing sex scenes (Not as disturbing as euphoria and Maggot Bait thankfully). For other recommendations and in case you didn't like disturbing sex scenes, I can suggest you Majokoi, Nanairo, Hoshimemo, Shinikiss, and Air. I hope that my recommendations here can be helpful to you

VN of the Month July 2009 - Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo,
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Vndbreview
Now that you mention Hatsuyuki Sakura, suddenly I remember that it's released at around same time as Dracu Riot and that there's a crossover video with both of heroines are there (Two of the heroines of those VNs have same hair style, although they have different VA though). Seeing that Nekonyan has Dracu Riot (Even though it's a redundant one to me) and possibly Tenshin Ranman and you mention that Hatsuyuki is still modern enough for localization purpose, I guess it's more than likely that Nekonyan may already have a sight on it. Although in order to announce that (If they really already have the license), I would say that we must wait until they manage to release Kirikoi which is the first officially localized Saga Planet VN. As for old VN example, I can say that Natsuyume here is definitely more well known compared to old VN that Sol Press released (ie Sakusakura, Yotsunoha). Old VN is not always didn't work out though, although then again there's always exclusion. By the way if Nekonyan did feel that Natsuyume was too old, I didn't mind if they chose to license Kakenuke instead in case they need newer Saga Planet VN lol. -
VN of the Month December 2009 - Fake Azure Arcology
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Vndbreview
No much that I can comment in regard of December 2009, but regardless of that let me try. Rance 02 - There's fan translated version that use the incomplete script because Alicesoft somehow decided to hidden the rewritten script in one of Alice 2010 directory (Why they didn't just use it as default script is a mystery), and we also have Mangagamer release in that they translated the rewritten script. That said since it's their first Rance remake, you better not expect much of it even with Mangagamer version since it mean that Alicesoft here only improved the graphic along with the script so you better not expect much innovative gameplay like Alicesoft VNs always shown. At least you can see on how Rance first met with Maria and Shizuka in 02 if anything else, and for anyone else who didn't followed Rance those two girls are recurring characters in future Rance VNs. Anaheim - From what I read the setting is based on Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust (1991 anime), although obviously there's no original character there. But instead we'll going to see the story of Gundam development along with some GL love story, and it also have sex scenes. No much to say other than it's obviously a fandisc only that it did have original characters (OC) as the main focus, and that it's already translated from back at 2013. That's all for my comment in regard of December 2009. -
Happy belated 25th to @bakauchuujin, and I hope you'll have a good birthday.

Visual Novel Translation Status (12/27/2020) Welcome to my last VNTS Review for 2020, and merry belated Christmas (Also I'm sorry for being late here). As for this week, we have (Redundant) Majikoi release from JAST back at Christmas day and Sekai belated release of Amairo Chocolata English version, so I can say that it's still good to see official company release some VNs for Christmas. Other than the releases from the official, there's two releases from fan translation section with one of the VN has some complication behind the release. Of course we still have some updates, and most of the updates are comes from fan translation section. Overall I can say that this is yet another exciting week, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week. I'll tell the title for my last 2020 VNTS Review at PS later. Cherry Kiss did release yet another of their nukige with the title Angel Sex Pet, and they release it back at 24th. No much to say other than it's a nukige about on how the MC turned the angel into his sex slave, and that it's quite old seeing that it's 2009 VN. Go get that if you've been interested with it and have fun. Sekai finally did release Chocolata after they decided to release it in Chinese first, which to say not the most favorable decision for the people who can't read Chinese (I just hope that this and Koiama 2 are the only VNs that Sekai did Chinese language release first). As for Amairo, it's about the MC who can see the animal ear of the cafe workers who turned out to hybrid beast (ie catgirl and doggirl). No much to say other than go get Chocolata if you've been wanting to read it in English, and have fun. We also have PQube announce that they'll release Bustafellows at 2021 later, and it's an otome VN with the premise that the female MC is a journalist that has special power that allow her to leap into the past for a short time by using other people body. No much to say for now other than it's also available for PC as well, so at least it should be good for otome fan who only have PC to play the VN. JAST did release Majikoi back at Christmas, and first of all I would say that it's a redundant release because we already have it translated since back at 2015. That said, perhaps you may try it if you find the older version of Majikoi has inconsistent translation because it's been translated by two different groups in the past, and have fun if you play new version of Majikoi. Also apparently 70% of the voices was cut down because of the VA license which to say is quite expensive seeing that some of Majikoi's VAs are very well known VAs which cause it to be quite costly to license, and with two of the VAs (Tsukada Maasaki and Fujiwara Keiji) are already passed away it mean that JAST need to do some paperwork's to license the voices which to say would take too much effort. Fortunately there's some fans who released the patch that add the voice for JAST version, so that the player who play JAST version of Majikoi didn't need to play partially voiced VN. Almost forget to mention that there's an update in regard of Slow Damage, and currently it's been at 18% translated. There's surprise release of partial patch of Majikoi A-5 in that it cover Margit and Harem's route, although I would say that it's obviously just another Majikoi fandisc and other than first Majikoi all of it's other VNs are fandisc (Yes including S which by the staffs admission they initially planned it as such only to upped it as sequel in the middle of the development). That said if you want to see more Margit, go get A-5 partial patch here and have fun. We also have Taimanin Yukikaze 2 full patch released, in which once again it'll follow Yukikaze's story. As for the premise Yukikaze need to infiltrate a dangerous facility as her mission, and of course it's only inevitable that she'll raped in many ways seeing that it's nukige and all. Go get the patch if you interested with it, and have fun. By the way I would say that Yukikaze's breast here is quite flat compared to many other Black Lilith heroines, so at least she can be nice to look if you've been bored of big breast heroines lol. For the rest of the updates, we got Eustia was at 58.62% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 35.31% TLC-ed, Loverable was at 93.92% edited, Harugi was at almost three quarter (74%) translated with Yuuna's route was past three quarter (79%) translated along with Misaki's route was at 20% translated, and Reflection Blue was at 88.4% edited with Shiki's route was past halfway (59.1%) edited. There's also Pure x Connect update as well, although I'll save it for my next VNTS Review at next year. No much that I can comment in regard of the updates other than it's nice to see some progress in Eustia's TLC, and if you want to help the TLC feel free to contact the editor or the translator (The Reddit thread in regard of that for more info). When it come to GHS (George Henry Shaft), normally what I can see is that the guy himself is quite infamous with his Cross Channel translation that apparently quite bad. His past works are quite random just like Pulltop, in that either of those are redundant (The aforementioned Cross Channel), less known, or have questionable format (Chaos Child Love Chu Chu, in which he released it in form of video). With that resume normally I would dismiss his release, but not this time because turned out his release back at Christmas is Gekkou no Carnevale in which it's one of Nitroplus VN that is quite well known to a degree. As for the premise it's about our MC Romeo who work as taxi driver and ironically he's quite blind when it come to direction, although he has some secret in that he also a werewolf who ran away from the mafia. One day he met a female living doll with the name Anna, and turned out she's quite cheerful. From there both of Romeo and Anna try to live their best while at the same time they need to fend some enemies that come in their way (And naturally it mean that Romeo need to fight). Go get Carnevale patch if you want to try it despite the translator infamy (Personally I would suggest you to try the patch first before dismissed it as badly translated, but to each of their own), and have fun. That's all for my last VNTS Review in 2020 here, and see you next year. PS - For the title, since we have Majikoi released along with Angel Sex Pet, I decided to just parodied the second part of Majikoi full title (Please Love Me Seriously) by changing 'Love' with 'Pat' so that we have 'Please Pat Me Seriously' as this week VNTS Review. Note that I use 'Pat' instead of 'Pet' here, because the former is more polite and that both words sounds similar.

Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much that I can say other than I hope you'll have fun here, and feel free to ask for some VN recommendations if you need it.

I remember that Flyable Heart have (MTL) translation patch and that the menu has very long (5 seconds) loading, although the most annoying one would be the need to mount the DVD if you apply the patch, which is no good for someone who like to pinch the HDD space (Like me) because it mean I must allocate the additional HDD space at about three GB for the ISO file. I didn't play Kiminago yet and it also got the translation patch as well, although looking from the Flyable Heart which obviously share same engine as Kiminago I would expect same problem to occur. For Flyable Heart, there's three set of routes that sort of serve as question-answer relation like back at Higurashi, and those three pairs are Mayuri-Sakurako, Amane-Kururi, and Yui-Suzuno. While there's still some plot element that I didn't find it quite satisfying (Mostly at Kukuri's route), overall Flyable Heart here manage to complete the main story. For Kiminago, I believe that it's for Mayuri's fans who didn't find her development in regard of family issue at Flyable Heart satisfying, although to me it make sense that they wrote Mayuri route in Flyable Heart like what it does there to a degree because Mayuri's family issue here is almost unrelated to the main story. Whether you'll play Kiminago or not I would say that it depend on whether you like Mayuri at the main game or not, and if you want to see more of her after reading her route then sure you can play Kiminago. So yeah I recommend you to read Flyable Heart first, and whether you'll continuing to Kiminago or not later it's up to you. Either way have fun. Back to the topic, and as for hidden gem I would say that it's quite hard to say here. That said I can still give some VNs that I wish can be more popular such as Kichikuou Rance, Hatsukoi Sankaime, Kami no Rhapsody, Seabed, and Galaxy Angel trilogy. Oh and Flyable Heart here is also count.

Favorite BGM/soundtrack of a Visual Novel
littleshogun replied to Exult's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Recently I like to hear the full version of 2nd Sakuramoyu opening here, so I'll post it below. Enjoy. -
From what I see when it come to this, I can say this adaptation is like a student who use cheat sheet to take the exam and obviously the student is failed because he didn't understand the meaning of the question and thus he didn't know why the right answer is right in the first place. Bad analogy I know, but it should make sense if you already finished Higurashi.

Visual Novel Translation Status (12/20/2020) As for this week VNTS Review, since we have Riddle Joker MC with the name Arihara Satoru in which it remind me that Shera My Witch MC was also have the name Satoru (At least Riddle Joker's Satoru didn't voiced his narration and thus I didn't need to hear on how horny he is lol) and that we have Ayase who is a psychic, I decided to parodied Shera My Witch here and so we have 'Ayase My Psychic' as this week VNTS Review. As for this week, it's quite eventful with several releases from Sekai, Mangagamer, and Nekonyan. Other than release, we also have several updates which to say quite a numerous as well and also we'll going to have several releases at Christmas as well. To conclude it, I can say that overall this week is quite exciting. Let's see what I can write in this week VNTS Review as well, and I'm sorry for being late here. While normally Mangagamer would announce their next release now that they released Sukehime, curiously this time they didn't do it so we can only wait for them to reveal their next release by themselves. Anyway as for Sukehime here it's a otome VN with sex scenes, with the setting that the female MC Marika is someone who came from the planet (And yes it mean that Marika is an alien) with the population of the planet being openminded in regard of the sex. The premise of Sukehime here is about Marika who is the princess of her planet come to Earth in order to search for her husband and then crashing into two handsome men, and as form of greeting Marika kissed both men only to find the men themselves are confused. From there Marika decided to befriended those two men with one of those men might be the fated husband for Marika, although in here Marika can also chose her maid to be her love interest as well (The maid is a female by the way). Go get Sukehime if you interested with otome VN that has sex scenes, and have fun. No much I can say in regard of Zombie VN release other than I'm not surprised if Volume 3 is still not resolved the plot, because it's adapted from the ongoing light novel and therefore it's still incomplete. I also heard the complain on Volume 3 in that apparently one of the heroine was set aside, although I like to think that light novel author may set aside the heroine to appear in his future story and of course Volume 3 here is not the place for the heroine in question. Other than two Zombie VN releases, there's also Bokukotsu FD in which it tell the after stories of the heroines after they got intimate with the MC (Ren), and Sekai did release it as the add on for original Bokukotsu. Well if anything else at least Sayori's art here is quite good so you can play it for the sake of graphics if you've been looking forward to good looking cute nukige. Go get those three from Steam (Or might be either Bokukotsu FD or Zombie VN only), and have fun. That's all for Sekai's releases at this week, and at least it's good for them that their backlog decreased a bit here. Apparently JAST like to update their BL backlog at this week, so let me give some roundup of it. As for this week, we have them opening the pre-order for Dramatical Murder (Still redundant release to me anyway), Jousou Sanmyaku (JAST trap VN) was in testing in that I didn't know on how long it's been like that since I didn't see JAST keeping their regular update (At least Sol Press is better at keeping regular update despite their state right now), and Slow Damage was at 14% translated. That's all for JAST updates in regard of their BL VNs, and yes I treat the VN that have male MC and trap heroines as BL VN. Fan Translation For fan translation roundup, we have 18,610 lines of Pure x Connect are translated along with almost 10,000 (9,973) lines of it are edited, Eustia was at 58.17% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 32.95% TLC-ed, Loverable was at 92.99% edited, Majikoi A-4 common route was translated (The common route of A-4 has 32 scripts, so 32 out of 62 scripts of A-4 was fully translated), and Shinimasu was almost fully edited (ie 99% edited). We also have Axanael trial translation being released, and the translator ask for the staffs in order to helping her with work (More info on the thread here) so hopefully she'll get some help in the future. As for Axanael itself, it's a Nitroplus VN with the premise that six players play a Russian Roulette that allowed the shooter to grant the wish at a heavy price (Other people life), and another thing to note is that the core staffs of Axanael also work together in Kimikoi. No much to say other than good luck to the translator, and you can play the trial (Go get the translated trial here) to see if Axanael would be interesting to you or not. There's a new translation group with the name Kakugo Translation, and they just released their first translated VN Knot Fiction back at 19th. What I can see is that apparently it's a nukige VN involved two married couple, except that the wife herself is more like big sister to our MC who supposedly to be take the husband role. Other than that, well the team did describe the VN did have the engine that apparently quite problematic so much that hacking it is a pain. As for the release, congratulation in regard of that and go get the patch from Kakugo Translation website if you interested with it and have fun. Also Kakugo Translation here did apparently working on a VN, although they didn't reveal the VN in question though so no much that we can do other than wait (Good luck on the project). Other For Abyss of the Sacrifice, I can only say that it's more like Cute Girls Do Cute Things only that the cute things that the girls do is survival games. The graphic itself is quite old from what I can say, which is make sense seeing that it's created back at 2010 for PSP. It also got some interesting name when it come to VAs, such as Kitamura Eri and Yukana. From what I read, apparently it also follow Zero Escape game to a degree when it come with the gameplay in that it also come with the puzzle, except that in here the casts are all girls (Duh) while in Zero Escape there's a number of male casts. As for Abyss of the Sacrifice itself, the premise is like there're several girls from different countries are somehow locked down inside an underground facility that was called Foundation. Said building was suddenly faced it's destruction and it's up to the girls themselves to survive, which to say wouldn't be easy just like any escape game tell us. Get Abyss of the Sacrifice if you're interested with this lesser known VN, and have fun. We also have ShiraVN did change their name into Shiravune (Their tweet about that), and more importantly they'd announce that they have been working on several VNs (Apparently at eight works). The most obvious guess would be that all of their new VNs would be from DMM, so it could be either Sorceress Alive or Shinsou Noise if I may expect it a bit higher. They also will bring the news in regard of the future of Utawarerumono on PC on January 7th at their tweet here, so let's see it later. What I can say is that after several releases with almost no problem, I'll look forward to see what Shiravune can do in regard of the releases in the future. As we know, the biggest release that we have at this week is from Nekonyan and the release in question is obviously Riddle Joker. As for the VN itself, I remember that mod Clephas did say that it resemble Dracu Riot so perhaps one may take that that opinion into account when it come into expectation. So in case some of you still waiting Nekonyan to finished the engine porting of Dracu Riot (Yes I also know some people who still waiting for Dracu Riot official release even though we already have the leaked patch), you can play Riddle Joker first in order to taste Dracu Riot (Sort of). In the end, I can only say that both of VNs (Dracu Riot and Riddle Joker) are good on their own. As for the premise, we have our MC Satoru who is a spy infiltrate a special school that educate the students with superpower, and at one instance Satoru's mission was found out by student council president Ayase who turned out also harbor a big secret. From there both of Satoru and Ayase did interact before finally being in love with each other, although of course in here Satoru can ended up with the other heroines besides Ayase. Go get Riddle Joker from either Steam, Denpasoft, JAST, and Fakku (Ironically not at Nekonyan's own store seeing that their own store is busted) if you interested, and have fun That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. PS - I know that there's several updates besides on what I did write, such as Majikoi release date announcement (At Christmas later), Taimanin Yukikaze 2 releases, and Chocolata English version release. But even without those news this week is already quite eventful, so I'll save the talk about those three at my next VNTS Review.

Late to comment here, but overall I guess I can say that November 2020 here is not as eventful as December here release wise. I see that Ryuukishi like to apply pandemic plot in Ciconia again after he did it in Higurashi, only that apparently he'll write it in bigger scale. That said, too bad that he can't get it done at this time because of the Unfortunate Implication so hopefully he'll be able to use the time to reworking on Ciconia Episode 2 later, and also good luck to him in regard of writing the six episodes/chapters later (Assuming that he'll write Ciconia like the past When They Cry series in that he'd write eight episodes/chapters). Good for Mashiro's fans in that they manage to get her fandisc (EXTRA1) translated, and it's just too bad that Nekonyan's store was busted. Fortunately it didn't affect the release of Riddle Joker (For the reminder back when Mangagamer's store busted it did affect the release date of Haretaka), and for now I can't say much other than hopefully they'll find a way to resolve their problem sooner or later even though it's understandably their lowest priority for now. Good job for Committee of Zero to release the patch that allowed mouse usage for Robotic Notes, and as much as I likened the sequel (DaSH) to fandisc with unnecessary crossover in form of Daru (Did we really need him as the second MC in the sequel?) I hope that someday they'll be able to release the similar patch for DaSH in the near future (I know that they also working on the similar patch for DaSH as well). No much comment in regard of Nekopara 4 release other than it's nice sequel to Nekopara's fans, and I hope that we can see more of interesting releases from Sekai at 2021 later. Despite what I says several times in regard on how Kinugasa was incapable to ending his own story, I must say that at least his writing in other aspect can be said as interesting. Or if I may say in another way, Kinugasa here is more capable to write the journey than the destination. As for Ryuusei itself, other than it would be the first translated Kinugasa's VN I would say that I won't expect the sequel would wrap up the story completely if the staffs keep Kinugasa in charge of writing it, although I may expect same interesting journey in the sequel though. Note that it's still unknown whether the sequel will be developed or not, although there's might be a chance that it's already in development. MAMIYA, well I only know that it got some twisted murder and that one of the translator is the late Conjueror. Good luck to Fruitbat in regard of the release plan at Spring 2021 later. As for Wanting Wings, well apparently it's just a normal GL VN so at least it should be good if one want more GL VNs. Too bad that Mangagamer chose to secure Wanting Wings instead of Sengoku Koihime as their newest Base Son VN, but after I see that JAST removed the voices in Majikoi and that Mangagamer did remove the voices in the first release of Koihime Musou thanks to the expensive license cost, I guess it's the wisest choice of Mangagamer to license Wanting Wings seeing that Sengoku Koihime did have a lot of voices. That's all for my comment in regard of November news here.

As for Pulltop's new all age VN (Anofure), I'm kind of wonder which Coldplay song that Pulltop would like to use if they decided to localize it. As for the chance of Anofure to be localized, I believe that Pulltop already prepared it with localization in mind although of course pandemic change everything so perhaps their initial plan for localization is halted for now. That said I hope that Pulltop will localized Anofure in the future, because it would be better for them to localize all age and that it looks nice. PS - It's just too bad that Umikana is quite underrated, but I guess they're under impression that it's not as long as other localized Pulltop VNs.

VN of the Month November 2009 - Hikari no Valusia ~What a Beautiful Hopes~
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Vndbreview
No much that I can say on November 2009 to be honest, although let me try to comment on this month as well. Baldr Sky Dive 2 - The continuation of Dive 1, and at least we didn't need to wait until eight months in order to play the sequel now that Sekai did release both Dive in one package. Like the first part, Dive 2 here is also has three heroines with the last heroines here are the main one, which once again shouldn't be surprising because the staffs did use the similar writing back at Baldr Force and Duel Savior (Both of those two are also available in English). Hikari no Valusia - Well I only know that it's What A Beautiful series, the characters have Middle East looks which to say make sense seeing that the setting is in a desert city, and formerly it's one of Amaterasu's future planned project alongside Sona-Nyl before they decided to cancel it because Liar-soft decided to going official with Mangagamer as their partner. I don't know if Mangagamer will license it or not, but I guess there's a chance for that even though as of now is quite unlikely. That's all for my comment in regard of this month. -
Hobbyist VN creator, Hoping for some feedback!
littleshogun replied to NSAID's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. Since I can't say much in regard of OELVN, no much that I can say other than good luck on developing the rest of the phases (ie chapters) and I hope that you'll enjoy yourself here. -
I want to make some VN reador or creator friend!

Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. In case of your otome VN, no much that I can say other than good luck on that. I hope that you'll have fun here. -
Visual Novel Translation Status (12/13/2020) Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Double Cast English patch being released back at November 29th along with two zombie VNs releases that's supposed to be happen at today, I did change the word 'Cast' in Double Cast into 'Zombie' so we have Double Zombie as this week VNTS Review. As for this week, I would say that I agree with Zakamutt in that there's not much happening here, but perhaps it's inevitable in that it's a breather for the next week in that there'll be a number of releases. If anything else at least we can see both Sekai and Cherry Kiss being aggressive in their updates, so overall this week is not too bad to me. Let's see what I can write for this week as well. As usual Cherry Kiss announced nukige, and this time we have two of those. The first one is Angel Sex Pet in that apparently the MC will give the the angel a lot of love through some rough sex, and the second one is Conquer and Breed the Demon Queen in that the MC is somehow manage to summon a demon queen and that the demon queen must have sex with the MC based on the contract. What I can say is that the latter was announced back at November 28th based on VNDB, both VNs still not have the release date, and that both nukige will be available on Steam. Not my most favorite announcements to say it lightly, but at least the announcements should be good if one want more short nukige from Cherry Kiss. Speaking about announcement, we finally have Frontwing announce the new release estimation month for Sharin and it'll be a March later. It's still redundant release to me though, but at least it should be good news for anyone else who back Sharin back when Frontwing do the Kickstarter. We also have Verdelish do a good job on Slow Damage with the current progress is at 7% translated. Not much happening in regard of fan translation at this week admittedly. That said, we have new Amagami update in that they stated the plan to completed the translation was not achieved because of the team business and the circumstances. We still have the editing progress of it continuing though, in that currently it's been at 91.6% edited with 2,134 out of 2,329 lines are edited. The team also said that they still need to work more on this, including beta testing. As for Akagoei, since the team already finished both of common and Reika's route naturally it mean that they'll translate the new route, and in this case they chose to translate Nae's route next. That's all for this week fan translation updates. For Sekai's update, at last we finally can see the progress from both of Daybreak and ReLord 2 although unfortunately the updates aren't in form of the release date announcements, but instead we have Daybreak user interface work was almost complete and that ReLord 2 was already receiving the build. Well I guess they need some more time to work on the engine, so hopefully they can work on it smoothly (Especially in regard of Daybreak). We also have Love Duction about to do the QA soon, so it might be one of Sekai's future release in near future. I know that they also have two secret projects with one of those are fully translated while the other are already both of fully translated and edited, but considering that their past secret projects are either OELVN or translated to Chinese language first, I'll just wait until Sekai ready to reveal it by themselves. They also have been waiting for Amatsutsumi's build, and that they already received the build for Nine Episode 4 with them about to start the QA. What I can say is that I guess I can say that they already finished the translation work for Amatsutsumi, and also I also hope that they can start the QA for Nine Episode 4 in the near future. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
