I'll throw you a left-field suggestion: Ever 17. It's a scifi multiple route mystery story. Why? Because my first vn was Katawa Shoujo, a character-focused story, and expanding my horizons made me realize that there are some seriously awesome stories if you look beyond that

Hoshizora no Memoria should probably be right up your alley. That said, don't limit yourself to just one type of vn when there are so many awesome stories out there!

I personally tend to enjoy even mediocre sex scenes somewhat due to my unashamedly perverted nature, but certainly, there's a general lack of quality in them in vns. What are the best sex scenes you can remember from a vn, and why? Personally, I think the three different scenes in LEAVEs were all pretty good. Might be partly due to having a godlike translator... Anyway, they are both tied in well with the plot, and pretty arousing too, while avoiding at least the worst of what I consider lame japanese porn tropes.

Well, if you play prepatched stuff you might miss out on codecs from installation Pretty problematic issue, as many people will already have some codec installed through one of the many means possible for it to happen (default with OS, installing some other game or vn, installing a media player...).

So basically, when you've read all posts in a thread the icon to the left of that thread in the forums. On your average non-locked thread, the icon becomes faded like this: but for locked threads it remains fully colored like this: Expected(?) behaviour would be for the icon to have a faded appearance one the thread has been read, even if it is a locked thread. This is currently not happening.

Question in title, really. I don't personally mind too much either way, but given that every other board seems to be visible when not logged in, it's a bit weird.

Surprisingly, still not dead. Found a nice, quiet desk space at this camping, which is an amazing motivator for work it seems as I learned 49 kanji this session (I was kinda shooting to do the whole of lesson 18, but I'm not going for like 25 more tyvm...). I was a bit sloppier with trying to memorize in general, which made me a bit faster and (apparently) not much worse at remembering, at least for today's review. the Elements section when i'll have to think up my own stories is coming up in like 70 kanji or so, it seems - we'll have to see how that goes once I get there. For the review today I did something which I usually don't: I wrote the kanji down in mah notebook. Partially this was because it was actually doable fro ma practical standpoint due to the desk, partly it was also as I wanted to have some extra memo aid due to the large amount of kanji involved. Wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be... Stats: Learnt kanji: 470 Percentage complete: 21% Days with only reviews: many Days missed completely: like five or so in total, maximum two in a row but that was a special case. I'll get this stuff done sooner or later, it seems
