  1. Sushi and ramen are good stuff. I also like anything made from soba. I tried making omurice once. The taste was good but the egg wrap broke, so the result was fried rice with some fried egg flakes.
  2. It looks pretty good, can't really say anything else.
  3. I even kind of rushed it in the end, I could have easily spent more time doing the side quests. As I said it's a massive game. Funny thing is that there's so many different outcomes to various things, that there's content for other probably as long playthroughs.
  4. So... I finished my first playthrough of Witcher 3 after 90 something hours. That was quite the experience, best thing I've played in a while. I don't usually like using the saying "the journey is more important than the destination", but it fits witcher so well. It was a ride from start to finish. I'm probably going to do another playthrough later with different choices and world states, and do all the the side quests I didn't do.
  5. I feel like there's the Dengeki Stryker effect going on, people won't buy it because steam forums are once again filled with the talk about Grisaia being censored. If people don't know that much about VNs, it's no wonder that they are confused after reading those posts. And the price has to do with it as well, of course.
  6. To be honest I don't feel that exited at all. I mean I liked the fallout games, but at the same time I got bored really quickly. It's the kind of problem that happens in western RPGs in which you can create your own character. Everything you can create must fit the game world, which means that the actual impact your character has in the story is not very substantial. Sure you can make decisions and all that, but it lacks something that really ties you to the story. And if the story doesn't wrap you in, the gameplay must. But the current style fallout gameplay is kind of wonky mix of shooter and RPG and it doesn't do that well in either. It's kinda fun, but it get boring and annoying in the long run, when the stats start to decide everything. Still if this is Fallout 4 that's coming, I hope they do some improvements. I want to play fallout game I could fully enjoy.
  7. B-but I like pretty much every genre, how can I possibly choose one. My favorites are anything that makes me cry, but that's not necessarily tied to any genre. So if I had to choose, I guess romance or tragedy/drama.
  8. Go for it, Honey and Clover is great. It has the same type of atmosphere as Nodame, although it's much more focused in romance and drama. Also like in Nodame, the characters feel like proper human beings. It's a really beautiful story about human relationships and life.
  9. 11/10 Will play more. jk Engaging story. Gorgeous art. Captivating music. Great voice acting. Awesome combat and addictive gameplay. It's a sick game. Sasuga Vanillaware. I always wanted to play Muramasa and can't be any more happier at the moment. The hot spring scenes are glorious, the ones with the nekomata girl from the DLC are most hilarious. I always get hungry when playing Muramasa, the food you can cook and buy looks too damn delicious.
  10. I almost instinctively started clapping at end of the concert in episode 7, it was that good. I hit my hands together and then I realized that I'm not in real concert, but watching anime at home. It felt kind of weird. The humor is amazing, I like how the characters are pretty weird, but not so weird that they would feel stupid or annoying. The balance is really good. And I love all the weird reactions Nodame makes, it's so endearing.
  11. Yeah, everybody willing should join the heartbreaking Moemon adventures and patiently wait for the official retro club game. We can do both and don't have to mix them.
  12. I wasn't allowed watch pokemon or any anime on the mornings, too violent apparently. But I was allowed to watch the pokemon movies, so I'm not sure what it was really bout.
  13. This talk about Tour Eiffel reminds me of my French lessons and our teacher getting mad when we never learned that it's supposed to be la tour Eiffel not le tour. Anyways, I'm liking this months theme. I would probably never read these VNs on my own, so it's good that the club forces me outside of my usual reading habits.
  14. This season sadly lacked the really good OPs and EDs. The only one I liked was the Arslan Senki ED, the others are kind of meh.
  15. The OP is fantastic. The reason why I got interested in Nodame was because I heard the OP in "Noitamina Fan Best"-album and took a liking to it immediately.
  16. I'm so hyped for this, Corpse Party is one of the rare horror games I really enjoy. And that art book makes me really curious, here's hoping it contains lot of gore, then it would make a amazing trap book for my library. Cute girls on the outside, gore on the inside.
  17. Confession: I spent a day partying with friends and now I'm utterly lost in Fuwa. So much new stuff. Help!
  18. I've been waiting for this, I need more Corpse Party gore and horror. And that art book sound sounds interesting, I wonder how gruesome it is.
  19. When I was buying this, I honestly thought that somebody made a mistake and swapped the tiers around. Usually you need pay more for the good stuff. But this was a good chance to get Demonbane, so I'm not complaining.
  20. I don't really care, I like both. Though conversations are nicer in ADV style, especially if funny expressions on characters are included. To be honest at first I didn't even know that there was a differentiation between NVL and ADV style. I just thought that sometimes the text was displayed slightly differently and continued reading. It never bothered me at all.
  21. I got the good Honey and Clover vibes from the first episode, I'm expecting great things. Also Nodame is super adorable.
  22. Moemon + Nuzlocke challenge sounds really cruel and exiting, now I kinda want to do it. I can already imagine all the heartbreaking stories.
  23. I used lanttu (finish for turnip, roughly) long time ago as joke for something. Later I changed it to more international form and added random suffix, because it wasn't available otherwise.
