  1. It's an incredibly common word in english. If you're skeptical, type "define:cum" into google and look at the definition which appears. EDIT: Here
  2. Happening to me as well, thought it was just me tbh.
  3. Like I have the patience to wait a whole 10 seconds ...
  4. Fun fact, up until around... a hundred years ago pink was associated more with boys than girls. People would advise parents that if they wanted to follow convention you would dress the boys in pink and the girls in blue. I think this is because pink was considered a "stronger" colour and thus more suited to boys..... reasoning you could find strange until you view the first page of this thread *shields eyes*
  5. Could one of the Stretch goals be the removal of all sister routes? Nosebleed would be ever so happy if you could make it so...
  6. I would volunteer to do a review but I tend to be a little harsh, which I don't think would align well with your goals for this exercise.
  7. OH MY GOD... I hate it even more than I used. That rhyme's so corny XD What's next - a "Ridiculous Blood Red - Someone must be dead" theme?
  8. Ahaha that number doesn’t represent the number of messages I haven’t read, it just tells me how many letter bombs are currently in my inbox. An easy mistake to make. Definitely haven’t ignored any message… XD
  9. Ezyo22 touches on the important point here. Steampunk is Victorian age, and England was the main driver of innovation throughout the steam/Victorian era. Thus it's only natural that a lot of Steampunk features London as a key part of that world. For example, Gail Carriger takes jaunts through other countries in her steampunk series but the main place it's set is England.
  10. So much useful information Maybe this should be pinned? It would be a shame for this thread to be buried.
  11. Twas the second question on the survey.
  12. Fastermind? Heh, I'm a big fan of Icebound. That was a pretty solid VN :3 Welcome to the forums, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on your future projects. Good luck with them.
  13. Love triangles, how tragic Fess up Bats, you're Cheezwiz aren't you
  14. As a writer I will always make note of how authors do things. I will make note of a passage and go “this is how the author makes passive voice work,” or “note the adverb use here, contrary to oft-stated opinion.” I’ll write down any phrase I want to remember in the future in a separate word document. That being said I DON’T write anything in the actual books. I’m very OCD about my books, I’ll buy used ones but I WON’T touch any with pen-marks or dog-eared pages. And ANYBODY who touches one of my books with ink will be horribly butchered in as gruesome a manner as I can think up. I think if you want to find out what others thought of the book, you have the internet for that. Also brand new books are NOT all the same. Hard-back books fall apart so easily these days, and mass paperback have shitty spines, books localised for America are different to those localised for England and have you ever got your hands on an ARC copy of a book?
  15. Will definitely be keeping an eye on this!
  16. The IP Board theme is a little bit broken. Some icons don't load properly, like the message icon in the top-right or the bell icon which denotes notifications. That being said I STILL prefer the broken IP board theme to the noxious "Gravity Green" one. My Fuwa browsing pleasure has increased by leaps and bounds since I made the switch. So I'm totally onboard with a new forum look :3
  17. The reason for this isn't because people are irritated by slang, but because "Leet" speak is a form of frikken encryption. And if you want to post shit that requires people to use their valuable time, effort, and energy to decrypt your god-awful amateurish mess, it better be god-damn important or you can go to hell... and I mean that in the nicest possible way. PS: There goes rule 5.
  18. They are. The only people who are that anal about perfect grammar in forum posts are those with too much free time, or those seeking to have a massive e-penis (probably to compensate for real life shortcomings.)
  19. Heh, HardcoreGamer.com gave it 4 out of 5 stars :3 http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2015/02/05/review-huniepop/133066/
  20. It's not surprising, Square-Enix publishes The Walking Dead in Japan and wanted to publish an original game which was similar. I'll wait for all the episodes to be released before trying it, but I'm hearing a few reports that the writing isn't strong.
