My favorites are: The first Miagete goran, Yozora no hoshi o opening. It´s so awesome Euphoria. Sends chills down my spine, and the music is really good Eden*, fantastic animated opening. So well done SonoHana nyuu jene - such a catchy opening. I watched it like every time I opened the game

Still going through the Majokoi prologue, nearing the end now. I seriously just love this VN so far. The characters, the humor, the action, the CGs, the layout of the menu´s ... Everything is so awesome. The choices are also hilarious. Why didn't I start this VN sooner?

Kind of an odd statement, but I'm not going to disagree that more VNs releasing in the west through any means is a bad thing. More steam VNs will be good for everyone. We who want it can patch it and those who doesn't can leave it all ages. Everyone has their own opinions, and wether you like H-content or not is completely subjecctive. That being said though, I can't say I agree with the term "fixed VN" for an eroge with cut H-content. A VN is a visual novel and that has no need for H-content. That is fine. However an eroge is an erotic game, meaning there has to be erotic content in it, and these titles keep getting translated. If that part of the game is removed, it is taking out something that might be trivial to the plot yes, but that still makes the essence of the game's genre itself. I have seen you comment on this before and it seems you are quite set in your ways, which is absolutely fine, but I just want to say this: an eroge with cut H-conent is a censored game and it's quite frustrating for a lot of fans. Again, eroge being the keyword, not VN in a general sense. Therefore, the point that I was making earlier was that when an eroge is brought to steam and censored it can cause a little frustration, because we don't actually get the entire game in it's full glory. Sure, H-scenes don't do much for the plot, but that is beyond the point. The core problem is that content is removed from the game, and that annoys people like me.

Well clock up titles are very graphic and english translated eroges with like, just a little bit vanilla H-scenes is too much for some people. How would they react to something like Euphoria? Wont sell well, sadly. The truth is that story driven VNs with seriously graphic H-content doesnt really hit the standard English VN reader. That´s not to say there is no market for it what so ever, but there are very few of the VN fans in the west that will touch stuff like that. (I´m one though! Yay!) As for Euphoria, good luck. I´d say start with Rinne´s route, then Makiba, then Aoi and then nemu and then the true route. You will be confused, you will be weirded out, but if you stick with it and read it all until the end your mind will be blown. Hopefully.

Well hey, the story in Euphoria is actually really good. Its just ... 50% of the game is also disgusting H fetish scenes. That part puts a lot of poeple off from reading it. The mystery / story part is very well executed. I was glued to the screen at the end of the true route. Of course, considering its heavy and vulgar H content its not for everyone. Think kawasumi will be pleased if you become a clock up fan

Well thats a good thing at least Maybe it is just me who reacted this way. To me it just reads: this is better than Steins;gate! I get the intent but it just feels like a strange way to word it. But yeah maybe it´s just me then

Yeah this is totally outside the threads point but thanks for the detailed explanation. It kind of pains me to see but it makes total sense. I really hope that something will let companies like Mangagamer really flourish in the future so that more and more official English uncensored eroge releases will come. Or maybe if steam starts allowing adult content directly. Though I doubt that will ever happen. It would solve a lot of our problems if they did though. Guess there is always "illegal" patches for steam, like Nekopara and Sunrider from Denpasoft.

Wow. The English eroge market is weird Well, guess if everyone is happy with that then there is no problem. I can read both versions now so no harm done for me That said I read quicker in English so ... I at least do what I can to buy the hell out of all uncensored games that they release

Well yeah of course I get that. But what I mean is, would they not want for the game to be released uncensored in hopes that it would sell better? I personally have the voiced edition on steam, but would have loved an uncensored official release in English.
